Authentic delicious Chinese food. I have been here twice now and will be a regular. Portions are generous. Hand pulled noodles are great with just the right amount of chew. The braised beef one has a tomato based sauce. Regular beef is more dry (not saucy) stir fry. Both are good and well seasoned. Dumplings in hot & sour soup are also tasty--good amount of meat in the filling, which is a nice and tender. I think you get about 12. The soup is bright red but not spicy at all, which I think is a good thing, as you can add hot sauce as you like it, there's a pot of it at the table. I wish there were noodles in there too! I love the appetizer plate--you go up to the counter and choose 3 (out of 6 options). I've gotten the same 3 each time: pig ear, beef tendon, and shoestring ?potato. The seasoning varied a lot between my 2 visits. One time pig ear was very salty, another time it was perfect. One time the potato was quite spicy! Staff are friendly, but expect the typical no nonsense Chinese service--they will bring you food and water and that is it unless you ask for anything else. Order by QR code at your table. XiAn kitchen blew us away!! the restaurant was super clean and the employees were so friendly! you order by QR code at the table & as your food is ready they bring it to your table. as it was our first time, it was nice to have pictures when ordering! we ordered the dry fried green beans and the stir-fried noodle with chicken. both dishes were exceptional. the dry fried green beans were insanely flavorful. they were perfectly spicy and soooo savory. i literally couldn't stop saying "these are SO good". the stir-fried noodle with chicken was also a 10/10 for us. the noodles were absolutely insane. they were chewy and soaked up all the delicious sauce. the chicken was flavorful and tender and the cabbage and onions were cooked perfectly. the noodles are hand pulled and sheer perfection, imo. prices were super reasonable considering the huge portions and there was ample parking out front! we left & immediately said we couldn't wait for the leftovers. highly HIGHLY recommend trying XiAn kitchen! read more

The food is meant for sharing especially if you have a big party of people. I feel like i definitely have had better and cheaper chinese food. This restaurant is definitely on the expensive side. Also, when we dined in there was no background music, so you can overhear other peoples conversations. Maybe consider adding some kind of music in the background. read more

This place is the REAL DEAL! XiAn cuisine at its finest and flavors to the maximum! We came on a Saturday peak lunch time and this place was popping! It's not a big space (just a few tables and 3 booths) so there was a little bit of a wait. There was a sheet where you can write your name down but it was a little hidden that was hung up on the door - maybe a stand outside or maybe a sign that says "please sign in" would be very helpful. But the staff were super friendly and were hustling serving all the hungry customers. You scan the QR code at the table and order via your phone. It's nice to see the picture and you can write in special instructions. Easy peasy. I honestly don't think their tables were big enough for the generous portions of their food lol especially the Big Plate Chicken with noodles. When they say Big Plate they were not playing around - it took up almost half the table! We had 4 adults and 1 kid and we still had leftovers enough for 2 more meals after we were done eating! The Cumin Lamb was tender and stir fried with lots of onions and chilis (I swear Chinese restaurant lamb be different and less gamey than anywhere else!) The boys devoured the egg fried rice and the Rouburger was legit with homemade bun and juicy savory pork filling. Make sure you get the three appetizer combo and choose the ones that appeal to you. I would not sleep on the pig ear, potato, and other iconic Chinese cold apps. Come here for the iconic XiAn spices, go home with lots of leftovers to relive the flavors! Most of the tables were filled and we were quickly seated. The ordering process was very straightforward- scan a QR code and select the dishes you like. The staff were very accommodating and sweet :). Here are the dishes we ordered: roujiamo (signature and pork), big chicken plate with mixed noodles, combo appetizer of three, biang biang noodles, spicy diced chicken, and cumin lamb. The standout dishes for me were the big chicken plate with mixed noodles, cumin lamb, and combo appetizer of three (everything was really good regardless!) For the combo appetizer we chose the pigs ear, shredded potatoes, and beef tendon. They were well seasoned and delicious- generous portions too!! However, we were all blown away by the generous portion of the big plate chicken with mixed noodles ($27.99). It was HUGE and they do not skimp on the chicken, potatoes, or noodles. They make the noodles in house and the noodles are chewy, fresh, and soak up the delicious sauce well. The noodles are a must try here. The cumin lamb was also a wonderful surprise- not overpowering at all and well balanced flavors! No gamey taste from the lamb at all and the wok-hei is definitely there. Food was not too oily at all and I didn't leave with an overwhelming salty taste in my mouth at all despite eating such flavorful foods which was fantastic! New restaurant specializing in Northwestern Chinese cuisine and hand-pulled noodles. Cold appetizer: choose 3 from the case. Pig ear was a bit salty for some reason; tendon was good. I'm not sure what the 3rd one was--some sort of root (seemed almost potato-like). I liked this one too! They also had celery and tofu dish and cabbage dish. Cold noodles: 5/5 fresh rice noodles in mildly sweet chili oil (not spicy); especially refreshing on a hot day Braised beef noodles: nice chewy fresh hand-pulled noodles--seemingly 4ft long! Beef is tender, bell peppers and onion and tomato sauce. I'll be back to try more of the menu like the stir-fried noodles and pita bread soup! I drove by a few months ago and noticed a new noodle spot was opening. Xi'an-style noodles are one of my favorite types of restaurants, so I immediately added it to my list. This place did not disappoint. The photos I attached don't do the food justice. Everything we ordered was flavorful, and the service was incredibly fast. Ordering is done through a QR code, which made the process easy, and the food arrived shortly after we placed our order. The cold noodles were excellent with great flavor and texture, and the lamb noodle dish was equally tasty. Portions are quite large, so be careful not to over-order. The only item I wouldn't recommend is the Xi'an hamburger. It was surprisingly dry and bland compared to the noodle dishes. Very friendly staff and super clean inside. It is a chain from California but the food is authentic, having been to Xian before. The pick 3 appetizer give you 3 options out of six and you pick it at the counter. I recommend the ones I had in the pictures because they were delicious. If you don't know how to eat something, ask. The mou (bread) that comes with the soup you have to tear it into small pieces and leave it in the soup. Eat the other stuff and let it soak. The noodle dish is their house made hand pulled noodle and the entire plate is one single strand. Ask for scissor. A nice change from your familiar Chinese cuisine. read more

SO GOOD. All dishes were flavor bombs with different variations of chili seasoning. Biangbiang noodles were more on the garlicky side and the sesame cold noodle was closer to the chili oil flavor. I had really great meal here. My family ordered the beef soup noodle, stir fried lamb noodles, and the biang biang noodles. I suppose it takes some chopsticks skills to lift the wide noodles. They give you kid scissors to cut the noddles lol. My mom who is a picky eater liked the noodles, so I was happy to see that. Service was very fast and attentive. If you order the three appetizers, you have to walk to the front and choose the three you want. I had the stir fried potatoes, spicy beef, and tendon. They are served cold. We finished everything we ordered. I think the price is pretty good as well. The restaurant is decently sized, they have a few booth seating. I recommend this place! read more

this meal was so delicious! i love how chewy and wonderfully flavored the noodles were. the people working were so nice and helpful + ordering was a breeze! i highly recommend the pork noodle soup, it was a warm and comforting meal. the ambiance was very nice and i will absolutely be coming here again to try all the other dishes! read more

We came in for dinner for their soft opening. The place got busy after we arrived, so we lucked out. They have a QR code for you to place your food order in, which made it convenient. The only challenge was that a majority of the items were listed in Chinese and the pictures were not updated yet (I am assuming it will get updated soon). We ordered a few items to share - Cold Noodles, Braised Beef Noodle Soup, QiShan Noodle, Hometown style Rouburger, Hot Sour Cabbage, and jinggao (a sticky rice type dessert). The food came out pretty quick. I would say that most of the items ordered were well prepared and more unique dishes to me. The cold noodles were not your typical noodles. They were more of a translucent wheat starch Noodle type mixed well with like a chili oil type sauce. This seemed to be a popular dish among the people dining there. The braised beef noodle soup was good as both the noodles and soup were fresh. The Noodle Soup also had pieces of tofu in there and I think small pieces of potatoes. The Hot Sour Cabbage was a well prepared stir fried veggie dish. The QiShan noodles came with noodles on the side with the meat and sauce in another dish for you to mix together. We got there close to noon and surprised it was full already. Seemed to only have roughly 12 tables so it can become quite a wait if arriving at a bad time. It was the noon rush as half the restaurant seemed to just had down waiting for food. If you're waiting to be sat, theres a notepad near the door where you "sign in" for the waitlist. We wrote it and just waited inside. They only had 2 workers that did everything up front and with that rush everything did seem a bit chaotic and unorganized. Food constantly coming out needing to be ran or people ordering take out and bagging them up. They seemed to prioritize ToGo orders as the handful of folks I saw got them pretty fast compared to dine in. Service will lack a bit during rush hour so keep that in mind. Once they seemed to catch a break and not so overwhlemed, they started cleaning tables that left. Got sat 30 mins after. Was able to see proper service after that. They did great for just 2 people but definitely need more support when it gets busy. Food was delicious! We got beef fried rice, braised beef noodle? and the special hot oil noodle woth pork and veggies. The menu via the QR code, only half the menu had photos, so with no other photos and description of food item, it was a bit challenging . Milpitas, CA has a location if you need to look them up to see photos of food items. Braised beef noodle was not the typical braised beef noodle im used to, unless i ordered the wrong item( didnt get reciept or checked ), but it was still good. I came mainly for the wide noodles in the hot oil noodle which was not a disappointment. Pork belly pieces with what seemed like diced potatoes, beansprout, Woodward and other veggies that complimented the sauce well. This is a welcome addition to the restaurant scene here on the West side. With most Chinese restaurants catering to American Chinese food, Xian cuisine is different. You won't find General Tso's Chicken or other deep fried dishes covered in sweet sauce. You'll find pita bread "burger", big plate chicken noodles, braised beef with potato among other items. I tried the yang zhou fried rice, stir fried noodles with lamb, farmhouse pork stir fry and home style rou burger. Orders are placed via QR code and came fast. The pita bread was crisp and stuffed with pork. Delicious. Fried rice was on point. The noodles were soft and chewy with strong cumin overtones. The pork was cut in large chunks and covered in chopped dried peppers and chopped jalapeños. Everything was delicious and service was good. Will be back to explore more Xian cuisine. read more

Very poor management and terrible service. We waited in line for a table, but the restaurant was very small, we were told to leave our phone number and wait outside. However, we never heard anyone call our name, and no one contacted us by phone. After our turn was missed, we were told we had to wait again. The whole process was extremely disorganized. I don't understand why customers are asked to leave a phone number if the restaurant is not going to use it to notify them. It makes the system feel pointless and very frustrating. The dining experience was also very disappointing. After we were seated, no one brought us utensils or water, and no one explained how to order. We had to go to the front counter ourselves just to ask how the ordering process worked. The staff seemed to ignore customers, and the seating and service did not follow the waiting order properly. Overall, the service was very poor and the management was a mess. If this business wants to operate long-term, they really need to improve their customer service and organization. read more

I came in for dinner with others and while we waited for our table watched as one do the front of house staff continued to bus tables, pour water for customers and deliver clean utensils and beverages all without washing her hands. We advised her that she needed to do this, especially after busing and cleaning tables and she continued to do her own thing. While others in my party continued to order, I chose not to order anything or drink from the cups she brought to the table. It did smell and look good but until they get their hygiene in order I won't be coming back. Eat at your own risk. read more
