We came here on Sunday to celebrate two birthdays. We were seated right away. Got our order in and food came out quickly. We ordered a Larb salad which was delicious. We wished there were more lettuce to wrap the salad in. It came with ground pork tossed in shallots. Very flavorful. We did need more lettuce for this. It came with three lettuce. The appetizers we ordered is Asian flies, which are deep fried lotus root served with side of sriracha sauce and sweet chili sauce. This was surprisingly very crispy and delightful. The flavors of the sauce adds more depth to the lotus root The second appetizer is the Thai Fish Cakes. This was fish cakes patties and it was delicious. Very flavorful. We definitely love the salad and appetizers Kamdee Value set is like a predetermined hot pot. It came with stewed beef, sliced pork, pork liver, meatballs, basil and some others. The broth was really rich. It came with sides of pork rinds and crispy wontons and three types of noodles: rice noodles, egg noodles and vermicelli. We find the ingredients very flavorful but broth was very rich. The noodles were very hard to pull apart. Don't know if it's too cold or needs more water. The crispy prawns in tamarind sauce was interesting. Batter was not crispy enough. The prawns were good. Green beans was neutral. This is in Beaverton Town Square. Right by Traders Joe. There are many other places to explore here. The restaurant is small. Only 10 tables that fit 4 people and 2 tables that fit two. One round table that fit 5. I don't think I said one single word while devouring this meal, that's how locked in I was. We also got potstickers but ate them too fast to take a pic. They were delish, and the sauce that came with them was literal perfection. The ambiance was typical for this type of restaurant in this type of location, which is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. I went with a large party on a weekend evening and was delighted to have been able to be seated. This place is very popular so there is usually a wait during peak hours. I tried a few dishes (from sampling from others' plates). I really liked how the noodles in the pad thai were chewy and soft, but not easily stuck together in huge clumps. The crab fried rice was another one of my favorites from the meal. I thought that the tom yum nam-khon was quite salty and sour- not my personal preference. What a great Thai spot! Big menu with lots of the classic Thai dishes and some you may not have heard of. The cashew nut chicken was delicious! Their chicken is slightly breaded which I was not expecting, but found it good. They use a spice level system out of 3 stars, so be aware if you're used to ordering out of 5 stars. The Thai iced teas were a good balance of tea and cream, and not too sweet. And they come with whip cream on top! Service was prompt and friendly. The woon sen phad thai goong was ordered at a "mild "spice level and I'm glad I selected mild because it had a bit of a zip to it, as Thai food tends to have. I liked it very much. There were four shrimp and tofu in it and everything was incredibly fresh and tasty. My dining companions enjoyed their choices as well. We've been here twice now and it's always jam packed! It's on the smaller side, but we've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a table. The staff is super friendly and very on top of service. I think the thing that sets this place apart for me is that everything is super fresh. The menu is large, colorful, and full of beautiful pictures. You'll know exactly what you are ordering. The salad rolls are huge and packed full of colorful and fresh veggies. I always go with the Pad Thai and again, it's covered in fresh veggies and actually feels like it has a sauce, which I love! The portion is HUGE, we always end up with leftovers. The Khao Soi is their signature dish, they have a dry version with the curry on the side and one that comes in the curry. This dish is delicious, it was a little sweeter than I expected, but you can adjust the spice level. They have a wide variety of thai menu items ranging from the classic Phad Thai, Phad See Ew to their signature dish the Khao Soi! The lime adds a hint of sourness, the pickled greens abd shallots adds extra depth of flavors into the soup and for you to much in between bites. The restaurant is very accommodating since my friend has a big gluten allergy so it's great to come to a place where a majority of food is gluten free. Broth was intricate. Had layers of sweetness from the coconut milk which balanced really well with the sour from the lemongrass and lime. It came in a hot pot style presentation. Boat Noodles with Potato Noodles (with beef and mild spice) was yummy. I found the soup to be a bit too oily for my liking, but nonetheless the taste was great. Noodles were cooked to perfection! Chicken fried rice and kee mao noodles from the lunch special were nice. Portion size was good and you can't beat the pricing. The Thai Tea was nothing special. The first time I tried the Khao Soi Nuea (their classic dish). Filled with different types of noodles, ample meat, onion, and more, this curry dish hit the spot in terms of flavor, volume, and price. I also tried the boat noodles, which was a completely different flavor but equally as delicious. The soup came with pork, meatballs, bean sprouts, Chinese broccoli, and more in a clear broth. I also got to try the green beans, which while tasty were a slightly smaller portion size compared to price, and the fresh rolls, which were fresh indeed and came with a tasty peanut sauce. Back to the service, our fried tofu took a while to come out, the table next to mine came in later and order spring rolls and egg rolls, they already got their food. I noticed the guy worker possible the owner already has a suspicion facial expression and checking the system. Then I asked him if our tofu is ready because the table next to me already got theirs. Instead of saying let me check, he BS me saying the tofu takes more complicated steps. Then when we are starting to eat, someone sitting by the entrance ready to order to go and approaching the same guy. He told the customer that he is not ready for him in a very rude way. If that was me, I would have walked away. I am just not impressed with this person who worked the front desk. The lady there seems to do most of the work. i really enjoyed eating here! the place is super spacious and has a decent amount of seating. the staff is super nice and attentive. they directed me to the bathroom once they saw me get up from my seat which was super sweet and thoughtful of them. they have a ton of menu options, so there's tons to choose from. i ended up getting the khao soi. i really enjoyed my dish, but i noticed that some of the dishes only come in "mild" which is still spicy for me, so i felt limited by those options. the khao soi ended up being fine for me. it has a slight kick, but it was not too spicy for me. i know some of my friends struggled to eat their mild pad thai though, which would suck if you have a low spice tolerance like i do. i would recommend this place if you can handle your heat! read more

This was our first time here, the space was simple and elegant with maybe 10 tables. My family ordered the pad see ew, the boat noodle, and the mango sticky rice. The boat noodle soups broth had a bold beef flavor that was just enough to be not be overwhelming as its cut by some sweetness. I also asked for some lime juice which added to the flavor of the broth. The glass noodles were bouncy and light as the beef, beef liver, Chinese broccoli, sprouts and Thai chili accompanied it to a perfect bite every time. I did think that the broth was slightly too sweet but that's just personal preference. The Pad See Ew was surprising. Such a simple dish and many restaurants get it wrong. Noodles were not over cooked and the sauce had the right ratio between sweet and salty from soy sauce. Veggies that accompanied it were crunchy and not over cooked. All while still maintaining the smokiness from the Wok hei. Mango sticky rice was very delicious as well. Deep fried sticky rice grains on top added to the texture as the sticky rice was not too overpoweringly sweet to the tart of the mango and coconut milk. Service was very good for us coming later towards closing time and treated my little one very kindly.
