Amazing! Get in early if you want to sit down. The dinner rush and takeout lines are great to see. The owners and staff are the best. The food is still the best Asian restaurant in area. Stunning dishes and great flavor. Love this place.

Another amazing visit to China. Also, not-so-new, but bar menu! Come in for food less than 4 bucks, aka, hot and sour soup for $3 between 1-3 pm. Hello!

I love China delight. I've been going here for over 20 years. It's the best Chinese food in Portland. Bruce is a wonderful host and the service is always excellent. Their tea is delicious and the restaurant is always nice to eat at. It's quite and has big windows. I bring everyone I can here and I will go here as long as I'm in town. Also the take out is divine.

Pot stickers look good but doesn't come with dumping sauce luckily I have some at home Pot Stickers (6)

Food is very bland I order bbq pork fried rice and fried shrimp , the shrimp is even bland no seasoning or anything They had really good service and the staff is very friendly and fast but they should season the food a little

This quaint location is hidden in plain sight on Beaverton Hillsdale hwy. A vibrant interior gives you lots to explore visually as you settle in. We were greeted with the salutation of "welcome home" which was a nice touch. I loved the service of hit tea and fortune cookies as part of the experience; it added to the restaurant charm. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt which met our expectations. The King poa was amazing, sweet and sour chicken was average while the combo plate (which I thought was genius) went uneaten. The service was exceptional and there are good sized tables for larger groups.

An unexpected place. A lot more available that it seems. They have a Northern Chinese Food Menu that is worth while to explore.

Glazed Honey Walnut Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken. Lightly breaded and with great sauce. Yum!

We were craving some Chinese food for dinner the other night and after picking up our daughter from a basketball camp at Jesuit HS we decided to try out China Delight. We were very impressed! Bruce, the owner, greeted us with a friendly "welcome home!" when we walked in the door. We ordered our food and we were very impressed with all our favorites. The food was steaming hot and they served it with a great pace; as soon as we finished one dish another appeared (we ordered appetizers and a few family style entrees). Our drinks were promptly filled and our server was very attentive without hovering. We will be back for sure!

Duck House is absolutely incredible! Let me start by saying…read moreChinese food is usually not my first choice when dining out, but this place completely changed my mind. Every dish we ordered was off-the-charts delicious. We had: * Garlic dry green beans * Szechuan Dan Dan noodles * Beef dry pot * Pork soup dumplings I wouldn't change a single thing--everything was perfectly seasoned, full of flavor, and served fresh and hot. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, great for a relaxed night out. If you're even thinking about trying this place, stop thinking and just go. Duck House is now officially at the top of my dining list!

The fried rice's flavor was pretty muted..I prefer a little saltiness in my fried rice and it honestly had barely any salt? It tasted like plain rice with a little soy sauce and maybe oil flavor? Just not very aromantic in general.. I disliked the Mandarin Crispy Chicken the most as I had an issue with the breading. It was very thick and each bite felt more breading than chicken..The flavor of the sauce was good but with how thick the breading was, the inside of the chicken had no flavor at all once I bit in.. Perhaps we ordered the wrong items, but I don't think I'll be back to try any others at least for now. It was a Friday night so it was busy but I'll say service was good and we had a minimal wait time!

The smashed cucumber salad was super refreshing -- lots of garlic, crunchy, and exactly what you want after hours in the car. The green onion pancakes came out crispy and satisfying, but my favorite was the wood ear mushroom. They did something to it that made it insanely umami and savory, like a dish you keep thinking about later. The fried rice was solid and full of flavor, and you could tell the kitchen cared. The dining room was pretty empty when we went, so maybe it's newer or underrated, which feels unfair because the food deserves more people. Parking around there is kind of a hassle and the neighborhood isn't the prettiest, but this is a definite stop for me next time I'm in Portland.

Shoutout to everyone still working on Thanksgiving Day! Because of hardworking folks like you,…read morepeople who don't celebrate holidays like me can still eat out. I'm super grateful. Before coming, I did my homework and checked reviews on Chinese review website. The opinions were kinda extreme, some said it was terrible, others said it was amazing. Since it was only a 1 minute walk from my hotel and actually open on Thanksgiving, I went for it. I ordered jalapeño beef 小炒牛肉, veggie chow mein 蔬菜炒面, and string beans 干煸四季豆. The beef came out first, and the first bite surprised me. It didn't taste like the jalapeño beef from other Sichuan restaurants. It tasted exactly like Cantonese beef with gailan, but with green bell peppers instead. Instead of tingly spicy, it had a subtle sweetness. If you're Cantonese, you probably know exactly what I mean. The veggie chow mein was good and reminded me of late night street noodles in Guangzhou, and it also had a slightly sweet touch. The string beans were good too, and didn't have any sweetness. There was some savory minced pork in it. If you're not a strict vegetarian and don't mind a little meat in the dish as long as you only eat the veggie part, go for this one, it was flavorful. While having dinner, I overheard Cantonese in the kitchen between the chef and staff, and ahhh, that explains why I tasted the Cantonese flavor in my dishes! It also explains the two types of extreme reviews. So let me be honest, if you come here expecting the Sichuan/Hu'nan version of stir-fried beef with a strong spicy profile, you might be disappointed. But for me, it was honestly a lucky hit. I did see some Sichuan spicy dishes on the menu, but I didn't order them, so I can't say if they're authentic. But based on what I ordered tonight, I was happy with everything.

The place was full of hungry locals and tourists but was uncustomarily quiet and calm. From the hostess that seated us, to the waitress and servers, all staff and management were extremely polite, positive and helpful. We were starving. So we ordered 3 entrees and side of Dry-fried String beans. The Green Beans were cooked perfectly and the serving size was generous! One of our new favorites is the Mongolian Chicken. Is not a spicy Chinese food dish but the moist chicken and seasonings produced a yummy & comfort food level dish! As usual, the lightly battered & deveined Butterfly prepared Salt & Pepper Shrimp was mouthwatering, with every bite. As the last entree to be served. The ten Chicken & Vegetable Dumplings were fresh and flavorful. Needless to say, with only 2 patrons eating lunch with 3 heaping entrees plus Dry-fried String beans and white rice - we took home 2 more meals worth of Chinese food leftovers. Definitely dine in at this Old Town location or order To Go!

The service was kind of weird/awkward about IDing us for drinks. I assured her I was happy to grab my ID and she was kind of rude, alluding to the fact I look old and she doesn't need it haha. As our food started to come, our friend noticed a long black hair in the chicken dumplings. We notified our server and she investigated the dish on our table. This rubbed us all the wrong way because you should believe your customer and take the plate from the table and maybe exam it in the back/kitchen? We didn't like the hair deter us and everything was truly delicious. We had pork soup buns (good, but not very soup-y), pork wontons in chili oil (yum!), chicken potstickers (probably my favorite), spicy chow mein (delicious), the dry fried green beans (so good)! We were stuffed. I ended up telling the server that we wouldn't need the new chicken dumplings and she was very rude and taken back by that. I feel bad to inconvenience them, but none of it would've happened if there wasn't a hair in the food? There were other small, rude things our server did but ultimately, it didn't ruin our night or take away from the delicious food! I would recommend the restaurant with the warning that the service is lackluster.

Typically at most Chinese restaurants, especially fried dishes, you'll see a pool of oil at the bottom of the dish.
