I stopped here for dinner 5/15/26. It was close to our hotel. I was craving for some Szechuan cuisine/dumpling. I was doing my research on Yelp. Overall, I decided to Yummy Time! It's a nice cozy restaurant. Server were quick and friendly. She recommended some other dish on the Mei that was new. But I know what I was going to get. NGL, the Red chili oil wonton and Stir Fried Beef Offals is delicious. It's a dish with mixed beef internal organs and etc. Perfect Szechuan spicy/numbness. Makes me just wanna keep eating it and spoonful of rice together with it! And the red chili wonton was good. My friend ordered the Kung Pao chicken lunch special but it also run through dinner time as well. Yes, you do have to add $3 extra for rice but where I live in Seattle. Add on rice is normal for $3. Lol. Overall, I would say, fair portion and the food were delicious. Highly recommended! I will be coming back here for lunch tomorrow while writing this. Yummy time is an eatery that shouldn't be passed up. Although we've never dined in, what we've ordered to go has always been pretty solid. If ordering from here, I would recommend the kung pao chicken, beef pancake roll, wonton chili oil, and the typhoon tofu. For $50 you get a good spread of food and even enough for leftovers the next day! Kung pao chicken is pretty tasty, probably the best we've had in Oregon. The sauce was slightly spicy, tangy, and had depth- while the chicken and peanuts had the perfect light sear. The beef in the pancake roll was nicely tenderized and had a good amount of veggies and savory sauce to tie it all together. Wonton chili oil was solid with no complaints. Lastly the typhoon tofu was a surprisingly delightful dish as it was crispy, lightly seasoned, and paired well with rice- looks heavy but light and so tasty! A solid 3.5 stars with room to earn more. We had a couple other non- worthy mention dishes such as the popular pork pancake roll and chow fun, hence the 3.5 stars. But overall, will be back and willing to try other dishes on top of the mentioned staples that were must orders! read more

The dumplings are excellent! Packed with so much flavor and have the perfect chew. I ordered delivery and everything tasted very fresh. The wontons in chili oil were delicious and had the perfect amount of spice. Honestly I prefer these over din tai fung! The wonton soup was still hot when it arrived and was very tasty! If that behavior is truly against your "strict service standards," then clearly it wasn't fully communicated to your staff. Furthermore, I too find it notable you claim that Seventeen Hot Pot has no overlap with your menu, yet they also serve Scallion Pancakes, a dish closer to your snack-focused menu as compared to Hot Pot itself, yet their scallion pancakes are far better. The intent of one's restaurant is irrelevant; it is the actual dishes that matter. Either way, I would expect any item on a menu to be well-prepared, not just your signature dishes. Hopefully you and your team can attempt to improve both your customer service and food rather than writing responses that attempt to retcon valid customer experiences instead of acknowledging what happened. read more

I did not come in with big expectations and figured it would be just another Panda Express type (no hate, I love the panda). But honestly this was much better than that. I was surprised by how good the food was and how much food came with the price. It is absolutely giving strip mall fast food by it's interior but I really enjoyed the meal we had. We got the fried rice, orange chicken, scallion pancakes and a few steamed bao and everything was very good. It was more food than 3 of us could eat. We grabbed Kung Fu Tea from next door and they didn't seem to mind that we had ordered drinks from another location. The place has an order screen tv thing so we actually basically didn't interact with anyone the entire time we were there which we didn't mind at all. Quality of food is for sure 5 stars! I prefer the pork stew noodles over the chou mein. The portion is smaller for the pork stew noodles though so I would definitely need to order something else in addition to be full. We have tried the tenders and the wings and IMO, I would go for the tenders because they are big sized and have a thick breaded crisp that the wings don't have. We liked the teriyaki more than the cajun and the cajun was not very spicy so good for those who can't really handle spice. There's a lot to choose from so we'll definitely be back! read more

My childhood was spent 100 km from the Chinese border and Asian food is my favorite. Today visiting Hillsboro Oregon I saw Yummy Time Asian cuisine decided to visit. After I studied the menu I chose Kung Pao chicken, knowing that it always comes with a side dish of rice or noodles. I chose the price tag of $ 12.99 but they charged me $ 14.99 and after I asked for rice they offered to pay an additional $ 3 for rice. This was surprisingly shameless and on their part. I did not expect this. Apparently realizing that I would not leave it like that, they brought the rice when I had almost finished eating Kung Pao. I did not even touch the rice. It's not about the money, I gave them these $ 3. I will not become poorer but a bad feeling remained from visiting this establishment. read more

We stopped at the Streets of Tanasbourne to grab lunch at Koi Fusion but found Yummy Time instead. We decided to give it a try and we were so happy we did! We ordered the Orange Chicken Bowl, the Yummy Chicken Box (basically teriyaki chicken) that comes with the most delicious fried String Green Beans, and the special Steam BBQ Pork Buns. Everything we tried was delicious! Interior was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food came out very fast. We will be back! The only downside was we decided to dine in but we were still served in plastic containers with flimsy plastic utensils. If they don't upgrade to reusable dishes and cutlery then next time we will get it to go and eat at home. read more

Do not be fooled by the photos from google that are displayed outside and inside of the restaurant. We have been wanting to try this place and today we were super disappointed in the quality of the food. First red flag was the water- you know when you water a plant and water will drip through the pot and into the saucer? It tasted like what I imagine that tastes like. My friend said it tasted like what nail polish smells like. You can taste this in the food as well. One bite of the wontons and one bite of the xialongboa which I had to spit out. The orange chicken was just chicken with barely any sauce drizzled on it. The rice that came with the orange chicken had the same taste as the water. The egg fried rice was dry and had no flavor. All of the food we ordered did not match the photos displayed throughout the restaurant. We threw everything away and walked out. We came in absolutely STARVING and I'm glad I had something to tie me over before passing out but for $40? I'm in disbelief that this place has such great reviews. read more

The server was rude. There's 2 servers. One is good and the other one was rude. She only talked and asked the customer who can speak her language. Only at the end of our visit, the other server came in and asked if we need more tea or else. Foods are ok but can get it somewhere else. This was our second visit. Will never go back. I have yet to find a solid Chinese restaurant in the Hillsboro area so I was super excited to try this place as it just opened! The quality of food is good and the prices are just right! I really enjoyed the fried rice as it was not too full of soy sauce and the vegetables were cooked nicely. The spring rolls also had a great flavor and the perfect crunch. I was disappointed in the orange chicken. It was soggy and did not have a great texture. I am a HUGE texture person so it was very disappointing. I ordered carry out but they did have quite a few people inside. My small interaction with them was pleasant. I would go back to this place but try something other than the orange chicken. Has outdoor seating and fair prices. Casual atmosphere. The menu has pretty good selection, including teriyaki chicken, eel, and xiao long bao. Their spring rolls are especially tasty with some extra soft doughiness under the flaky crust. The box meals come with string beans coated in salt and oil which pleased even my vegetable-hating partner. Should be called yucky time. First time ever I just had to leave a restaurant. Each person in my group ordered something different and it was all terrible. All first bites were pure yuck.
