Well... all I can say is wow do I miss my go to place "Taste of Sichuan" in Beaverton! They had a fire a few months back and we are struggling to find anything even remotely good. (We went at least once every week or so) I wish I had good things to say about Sir Crazy Kitchen. For the price of Stir Crazy Kitchen the amount of food was a joke! The flavor was lackluster and bland as all get-out! That should summarize my visit.

I'm so sad to lose my favorite Chinese restaurant. We were near Stir Ceazy for the first time since moving out of the PDX metro a couple years ago. I got so excited for my favorite Mandarin Crispy Eggplant and my husband was looking forward to House Special Lo Mein. What a huge disappointment. It looks like there are new owners and definitely new recipes. Our food was not delicious. Bland, lacking everything we loved like flavor, color, fresh ingredients. the eggplant was covered in raw onions...what? The lo mein had no protein- a few small pieces of chicken but no shrimp, beef or vegetables. The kitchen has been covered by a wall- you can no longer see the chefs cooking. In this case it's probably a good thing... They're cooking garbage back there. We left our full plates on the table and left. We paid the full price even after talking to the owner and the person at the front. They didn't seem to care.

One thing Portland area does not have good option, is Korean Chinese restaurant? Korean Chinese food is very different from regular Chinese food and in big cities, there are many choices., Recently found Stir Crazy Kitchen, and I am so glad gave it a try. Their Kanpoong chicken, not on w gloss menu, just on Korean menu is crispy and plenty spicy, sweet well caramelized. Jampong ( spicy seafood noodle soup) was also really good. Not much seafood in it thigh. Also has Korean Chinese style sweet and sour beef. Nice and crunchy ( request sauce on the side) was excellent as well. So if you are seeking Korean Chinese food, this is the best place in portland area. Next time will try their regular menu.

I recently tried this spot after hearing that they are owned by the workers at former legendary spot, China Jade. And in fact they kept all of their menu from that restaurant also. Make sure to ask for the secret Korean/China Jade menu. So had to try and was delighted to see that the quality of food stayed the same. It was as delicious as I remembered. The jjam bong portions were giant, an spicy broth was so refreshing. I highly recommend! I also noticed that the front of the house was being managed by one person, she was so kind attentive and was working extremely hard. This restaurant didn't seem too busy, an I think that's such a shame! The food is excellent with incredible pricing. Especially the lunch specials. I hope others find the time to stop by an enjoy this excellent food.

Lin's China Jade used to be my go to for Jjajangmyun / Jjampong orders. So sad they closed down. I was looking for a Jjampong place earlier, and this popped up. This place was only 4 minutes from my house. As soon as I saw other reviews mention that this is basically the resurrected Lin, I immediately left my house. As soon as you are seated, they will give you the standard menu. It has your typical American Chinese fare like general tso's, orange chicken, etc. The Korean options are available on a separate menu that you have to ask, so I did. I got the seafood jjajangmyun and fried shrimp coated in sauce (깐풍새우) with a side of kimchi to share with another person. We finished the noodles and the shrimp quickly. The shrimp comes with a side of rice. Pro tip: mix the rice with the leftover jjajang sauce and you have jjajangbap. We practically had 3 dishes. The price is good for the portion, and we left very satisfied and full! Will try Jjampong next time! I am so happy to discover this place!!

They gave my son a key chain on the way out. Thanks!

I'm not too experienced with Korean food and often just stick to what I know at every Korean place I visit rather than branch out. That being said I've had the dolsot bimimbop, kimchi jjigae/stew, kimchi pajeon/pancake, seafood pancake, and various bulgogi and galbi and thought all of them were solid. Banchan was decent. None of them were bad on multiple visits but none of them were so amazing that it left an imprint either. This place is probably my favorite spot when I want a Korean meal and not just wings or kbbq.

There were a few tables filled but not too busy. My banchan didnt come out until my food came out. There was about 7 side dishes. They were the highlight of my meal. They were simple but delicious. Sadly the soup wasn't good. I was sad that it didnt have much flavor. It's like they forgot salt and just boiled hot water. There was only 3 piece of beef rib. There was plenty of daikon and glass noodles. The prices for the dishes were a bur pricey for the portions they give. I'd come back again to try their other dishes. Definitely gives you authentic koren food vibes with 3 ajummas working.

I usually buy both of the BOGO offers, and I've done this a few times in the past, and they've all gone fine, no problems. I get my 4x10pc wing orders without issue. Yesterday I did the same thing - I ordered 2 BOGOs, expecting my usual 40 wings. But when I walked into pick it up, the Asian lady at the counter (I think she's the owner, maybe?) chastised me and told me to limit myself to just 1 BOGO order in the future. Huh? I only got 2 BOGOs, and it's not like the price was so cheap that the restaurant was losing money or something. And besides, I've ordered these 2 BOGOs numerous times in the past. That's when I saw that the restaurant was treating any SINGLE 10pc order as a BOGO. So when I checked out with my 4 10pc orders, the restaurant took that to mean 4 BOGO orders, or in other words, EIGHT 10pc orders. No wonder the lady was upset. Of course, it's not my error, as the restaurant was interpreting the order incorrectly. I even tried my best to explain this to the lady, as well as explain that I've ordered these BOGOs multiple times in the past (and this same lady was at the desk when I picked them up!!), and it's never been an issue. Still, the lady kept insisting she was correct, and that 1 10pc order constituted a BOGO in itself, which makes absolutely zero sense, and not how literally any other merchant I've ever bought from on UberEats has done their BOGO promotions, which I also told her. Anyway, in the future, I'll still continue to order as many BOGOs as I want, I'll just probably order delivery so I don't have to deal with this nonsense. EDIT: I see the owner has responded to my review. I can certainly see how someone exploiting multiple BOGOs to order 100+ wings at a time would be harmful to the company and completely against the spirit of the promotion. But I did nothing like that. Two different BOGOs were being offered, and I simply purchased 1 of each. I've done this multiple times both at this restaurant and at numerous other restaurants that offer different BOGOs, and this was literally the first time that any restaurant worker has mentioned a word about it. The biggest issue is that the Chimcking workers are apparently a bit undertrained when it comes to processing ubereats BOGO promotions, which is why I received 80 wings instead of the 40 I was supposed to get.

The restaurant is very accessible with plenty of parking around the building and a wheelchair-friendly entrance. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. The interior is lovely--very clean and has a great vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away. The Meal I ordered the Oyster Soft Tofu Stew, which came with a side of rice, a fresh egg, and a variety of banchan (side dishes). The Stew: It had a nice spicy kick, but cracking the raw egg into the boiling pot mellowed the heat perfectly. It was delicious and paired wonderfully with the rice. The Banchan: While the variety was nice, I found most of the side dishes to be a bit too salty for my personal taste, so I didn't finish them all. To-Go: I also ordered a Seafood Scallion Pancake to take home, and the staff was happy to package it up for me. Overall, it was a very pleasant solo dining experience with great service. I'd definitely return for the stew!
