A friend at work suggested the Asian grill for lunch, they are located in Hillsboro next to the DSW shoe place. It's in a busy strip mall. As you walk in you will find a counter with a selection of veggies, proteins and noodles, you can have them stir fried or you can select from the options within the various wall menus. I decided to try the Kong Pao chicken with veggies and chow mien noodles. The food was made as you order, it was hot and very good tasting. Plenty of chicken and noodles, love the sauce they use. I also really enjoyed the hot and sour soup, it was the right spice level. The serving portions were plenty, I took the rest home and had it for dinner! I was so happy to have tried this spot. I would recommend it. The interior is very dated but clean. Plenty of seating. The two folks that work here are very pleasant and attentive. A gem in the mix of many food options in this strip mall. I will be raving about this place with my coworkers. I cannot wait to try many other dishes.

A Couple that are as charming as the cat charm that greets you walking into a very charming atmosphere proven by local artist's art on the walls (special human touch). My lady and I shared a 2 Entree, 1 Side Order (Beef (Sesame Beef) and Chicken Entree (Teriyaki Chicken) with half Fried Rice-half chow mein) with $2 for Extra Vegetables. The food inspires thoughts of fresh, filling, not too oily, fair. Everything matches attention to good, clean details, even the bathroom. We'll done. The only downside to atmosphere is there isn't enough business/traffic: they definitely deserve the interactive business -tkogalaxyblue

Not a bad place for fast Chinese food. Came here for dinner - place looked a bit depressed - with just one lone diner. The owner is sweet though - patiently ran through the options - Mongolian style grill or panda style make your own plate. Opted for their spicy fish that they make to order and some orange chicken. Wanted veges but what they had was just some cabbage and carrots that looked like it was from lunch but she offered to toss it into my fried rice Fish was good. Decent place if you need a quick meal

I truly love this mom and pop Asian kitchen grill! I always get the build your own stir-fry yakisoba. Great spicy house sauce, fresh veggies everyday and perfectly cooked. No long waiting period just quick service. Also great pricing, the build your own is usually by weight. Mine is around $11-15.

My teen and I have debated back and forth about this place for years. The kid always defaults to something familiar ( Thai or Panda Express). The reviews vary and we were never certain how good it would be. So we hadn't tried it until now. On this particular evening the teen was otherwise occupied and I figured out the place delivers. So I just ordered and the food showed up. No debate. Love that. So peaceful. I took a cue from other yelpers that the wokked items they make for you are better than the premade dishes. So I ordered one entree with beef, extra noodles, and lots of veggies (double broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, and red bells -- note, the more you add the more it costs) and house sauce. For the teen I got chicken, terriyaki sauce, and the veggies/fruits the kid would eat ( baby corn, double broccoli, carrots and pineapple). Both noodle dishes were piping hot and the veggies were just right. Neither had a lot of protein. My house sauce was a tad bland. But it was pretty good and did not break the bank. There was sufficient broccoli but not tons.Maybe triple next time?? "Mom! The broccoli is perfect!" It kinda was. We got some krab rangoon that were just ok. I think we would try potstickers next time. This is not a bad choice for takeout.

Great value for $$. Went here to grab lunch one day as I was in the area and I was pleasantly surprised by their food options. The service took 10 mins for "Build you wok noodle bowl". You weigh the food and pay a flat price up to 16 oz and then more it'd it goes above the weight. One thing to note is, if you are choosing a protein from the kitchen, it does not get included in this weight. So you can go crazy till you hit the 16oz mark. I felt the food was a little too oily for my liking. I'd recommend checking out this place if you are looking for a quick place to get good on a weekday.

Always a good experience here. Load up your veggies and then tell them which type of protein and sauce you want.

Found this spot across from me and hasn't failed me yet. They've got seating inside but because of the size of the place, it seems better just to order takeout. I haven't bothered looking for a new spot because this one is pretty top tier imo

HORRIBLE!!!! Do not waste your money. It's disgusting and…read morethe owners don't have any manners. To start, the male owner was so condescending and rude. Let me set the scene, I am of Chinese descent so I look Chinese. I order my food and he later says to me, "You Chinese?," to which I reply , "Yes." Then he asks, "You don't speak Chinese," to which I reply , "No." Then he says, "I can tell!" Had I not already paid, I would have walked out. For starters, you don't know my history, so don't f-ing cop an attitude with me like I'm a disappointment to be spoken down to. My family comes from Central America, I'm Latina and I speak Spanish. I stayed to wait for my takeout and gave him the benefit of the doubt that the rest of my experience was going to be ok. Boy was I wrong. My Grandfather who immigrated from China to Central America knew how to cook, really well. So I may not speak Chinese, but I KNOW good Chinese food and this is not it! It's not even descent. For starters, the chicken lo mein was flavorless. And the chicken lacked any texture. It was so over tenderized, it was mushy. The orange chicken is gross. The chicken is par fried and they literally fry it again, make the sauce and just toss the chicken in it. So the batter is soggy and has no crispiness to it. And the chicken is overcooked, stringy and dried out. And theres something funky in the sauce that makes your tongue feel raw after eating a few pieces. The white rice that came with the chicken was the best thing to come out of that kitchen. But here's the kicker and final straw. On all the tables, there are big bottles of sirracha. And on the wall next to the register there's a sign that says Chili oil is 95c per oz. But no chili oil on the tables. Ok, noted. So when my food is ready, I ask if I can get a container to take some sirracha to go. This is where the female owner comes into the story. She says it's 50c to take some home. I reply, 'So if I eat here, it's free, but if I take some home, I have to pay for it?' She says, ' Yes,' and proceeds to shove little packets of hot sauce in my hand, saying it's the same hot sauce. And I emphasize to her, ' This is the same sirracha?' And she say, 'I no lie." Lady that generic, vinegary, red dye #5 crap is NOT the same sirracha and you ARE a liar, the picture proves it! And just so you know I couldn't dine in - even if I really wanted the free sirracha - because there's a funky smell in the restaurant!

There are booths where you order food to come cooked, and then the hot pot tables where you order the ingredients and cook them yourself. It's very interactive, and they have plenty of meats, vegetables, tofu, dumplings and noodles. You can choose the broth you want at the beginning and they'll bring out the pot. Each pot is split in 2, so you order one regular broth and then a spicy broth. They also have a veggie broth, which I really enjoy. You can grab things from the salad bar, and they have different sauces/oils you can take and add to your soup. You're able to really customize the experience. It's a fun little experiment you get to do with your friends and family. The space itself is busy with customers walking around and staff brining drinks and food, but it's not crazy. We joke that the steam from the soup is a nice facial treatment. Lol. You can end the night with an ice cream cone and lollipop in the waiting room. I've been a few times, and I will say the first time is overwhelming with trying to figure out what to do, but after that you get more confident and interested in curating a soup that's to your taste.

Once we were seated though, things went downhill. Only one person out of our four person table had done hot pot before, the rest of us were clueless. The server didn't bother to ask if we understood how to order and were super unhelpful every time we asked a question, kind of waving us off. Apparently you place an order and have to wait 20 minutes before you can place another order? What? I've been to kbbq plenty of times and have never been met with this delay. We got their original soup base and curry base. Both were mid. Not very flavorful until the very very end when we had finished cooking and were ready to leave. Maybe eating boiled meat just isn't for me, but I feel like everything was pretty bland and tasteless. The best part of the meal was the ice cream we grabbed on the way out imo. They gave us $20 off coupons randomly, said we couldn't use them that night. Probably a ploy to get us to go back, but not even with a discount like that would I go back. Straight to the trash. Save yourself and go to kbbq or the Asian buffet that's 10 min away. Disappointing night out with the fam.
