First time at Tasty Pot in Oregon! I got the beef pot which came with lots of pieces of beef! I really enjoyed the flavor of the broth as well, it seems to have Chinese barbecue sauce in it. There are lots of pieces of cabbage and fish cakes, some clams and tofu. The server comes by regularly to add more broth in since it does evaporate quickly with the constant boil. You place your order on the iPad so it gives you ample time to peruse the menu.
Comforting and flavorful hot pot soup. They happily refill the broth as often as you'd like. Popcorn chicken is crispy, juicy and seriously addictive. We'll definitely come back again.
If your date is craving Hot Pot, take them here! Great delicious individualized hot pot. Pricing is very affordable for the portions y'all get. I ordered the Cheesy Milk Hot Soup this time and the broth is flavorful and has great depth of flavor but not too much. Staff are great and provide great service. Any of their other hot pot items are great as well!
This place was pretty good for individual hot pots! I got the beef soup and it comes with a lot of different things in it which is a nice variety, like taro, fish cakes, tofu, etc. The beef was alright. It was a bit chewy but it was a decent amount of beef. The soup itself was flavorful and the portions were filling for one person. There's plenty of seating and service was quick! Overall it's a decent place to stop by in Beaverton.
Visiting Portland, A friend wants a hot pot. It was not busy. I ordered kimchi dumpling, mild. I should have ordered medium. The bean and soy sauce mixture reminded me of Thai sukiyaki sauce. The sauce added extra favor. There were varieties in the soup, dumplings were good. I added vermicelli noodle instead of rice. It is extra cost for instant noodle. I did not care for sausage. Service was good. They checked on us to refill the soup.

The restaurant operates with an iPad ordering system, so after checking in, there's minimal interaction with the staff. They did forget our drink order, which only arrived midway through our meal, but it wasn't a major issue. Ordered: *#4 Curry Flavor Hot Soup* The broth had a good amount of toppings, and the curry flavor was present. However, the broth itself wasn't particularly memorable. *#12 Seafood Hot Pot* Despite ordering the spicy level, the broth was bland and lacked the kick I was expecting. None of the toppings tasted particularly fresh I'm sure it was all frozen seafoods, however I do like that they filled everything to the brim. Overall this spot gets the job done for satisfying hot pot cravings, especially late at night. The personal serving pots and wide range of options are a plus, and there's plenty of seating, making it a good spot for groups. However, the flavors didn't leave a lasting impression, and it wouldn't be my top choice for hot pot.

Beware of cockroaches in the soup. Check the bottom of the pot before you start eating. I found the roach when I was almost finished with the meal. It was at the bottom of the pot. So disgusting. The size of it looked like a baby roach. The cook said it is "impossible" . Denying responsibility immediately when I confronted him. I will be reporting this to the food safety board. 小心汤里有蟑螂。吃之前一定要检查锅底。我快吃完的时候才发现蟑螂，它就在锅底。太恶心了。看起来像一只小蟑螂。厨师竟然说"不可能"，我质问他的时候，他立刻否认责任。我会向食品安全部门举报这件事。
It's been a while since I've dined in here but it's still as delicious as I remembered. Ordering on the iPad was fast and easy and our food came out quickly. I got mild on both soups but probably could have tried medium bc it's not super spicy. I would have loved if you could adjust the sweetness level on the boba drinks but the flavors are quite good. The calamari are a little over breaded. The broths in both were delicious but I definitely wish it came with more. They offer you refills of broth but I think it's mostly just water because the refills definitely diluted the flavor. Overall, delicious food and I'll def be back!

The menu lists all the ingredients in each type of hot soup so it helped when deciding which soup to order. We ordered the Beef Hot Soup and Seafood Lobster Hot Soup. The beef hot pot was rich with the beef broth flavor and all the fillings tasted great in it. The seafood hot pot had a light seafood flavor that complimented all the seafood and other fillings in it. Both hot pot broths were very clean and easy on the stomach, I could easily eat most of the hot pot even for lunch. I'm glad I rediscovered this place, time to add it to my rotation!
Customer service is so lovely here! I came in about 30mins before closing before the reopened for dinner and they didn't rush me at all. I don't recommend other people come too close their closing time but I appreciated them letting me take my time. The food was very fresh and flavorful as always!
We've been to this place a few times before. But the quality seems to go downhill lately. We ordered the beef hot soup and cheesy milk hot soup. The beef hot soup was ok. All the meat were edible. But the cheesy milk one was quite bad. First the soup is tasteless. Without the garlic soy condiments I won't be able to eat any of that. The pork on top are very dried and bland as well. I do like that they put lots of varieties of vegetables in it.
So good, very hot, got to know to turn down the heat as this bowl holder has a flame under it that can be controlled by a lever. The drink was delicious as well. Waitress came and refilled our water without asking. Thank you!

On a cold day, this was a great spot. And for the price point, it's not bad. We ordered the sweet garlic soy beef sizzle. It didn't have a lot of beef but had really good flavor. The seafood lobster hot soup was pretty good too. You can tell it's not the top of the line, freshest seafood but it's decent. I wished they had more non-spicy options but if I'm back in the area, would definitely stop by again. read more
Good size for a single portion. I liked being able to customize the hot pot if needed. There's a lot of soup bases to choose from but I had the curry one which was good. This location can get a little busy but doesn't take too long to get seated. read more

very efficient with ordering yourself on the tablet that's at each table and can even choose to order boba tea if you want. We ordered one pot per person, non spicy Thai flavor soup, Taiwanese supreme hot soup and Japanese miso hot soup. Each can choose with rice or vermicelli noodle as an additional side, my Japanese miso one comes with udon and Taiwanese one comes with ramen already and Thai one had vermicelli also. They keep the pot hot with the flame under and it can be adjusted to turn down the temperature of the broth, if you run low they can also fill up your pot with clear hot broth as well. Very large restaurant with lots of seating and great for socializing or gathering as you can eat at your own pace while your food stays hot and talk as long as you want (until they need you to leave). Come here if you're craving for hotpot but don't really want to want to buy all true ingredients to prep or don't want to eat a large amount. The size is perfect for one person and or to share. 10/10 recommend, pricing varies depending on when you go lunch vs dinner and which one you choose. read more

I like how this place has individual hotpots so everyone gets to choose their own hotpot. We tried the Taiwanese supreme spicy hot soup and the kimchi dumpling hot soup. Both were just okay. The Taiwanese hotpot tasted like instant ramen but made fancy by adding lots of meats and veggies, so it was good but seems like something I can have home. The portion size for that was huge so I'll give it that. The kimchi dumpling hotpot was smaller and the broth was very bland. Overall, this place was not bad but not great. Depending on what hotpot you choose it can be a good value, but I think I can make this at home for cheaper. 3.5/5 read more

I love this place! It's very good but the only reason I'm rating it a 4/5 is the prices raising up high, other then that the portions have stayed the same as when I first came here and I'm glad they updated the interior to a more modern urban look! The service is good except the fact that sometimes the food might take a bit longer since on that day it's longer but other than that i thinks that's all I need to say! Will say that this is an all time favorite and I always come at-least once a month. read more
Good portion of food for the price that you pay for. This was our first time and I enjoyed the experience. It was a little bit after 8 PM on a Saturday night and we were able to be seated right away. The food comes out as an individual hot pot, and every order gets its own. We ordered via an iPad on the table and they also had a physical menus that described what was inside each hot pot item. In addition to the hot pot, they also sold bubble tea items. I had the Japanese Miso Hot Soup and the Taro Milk Tea with Grass Jelly. The broth was not as flavorful as expected; next time I might opt for a different broth flavor or a higher spice level. The bubble tea was honestly average. Friendly staff. One of the staff members came to refill our broth, and while the staff checked in on us frequently, we were taken aback by a staff member who asked "was there something wrong with the food?" when we asked for to-go containers. Nothing wrong with the food, just large portions that couldn't be finished because we were full haha. read more
This is the perfect place for when you want a small portion of hot pot or want hot pot but don't want to share haha. There's so many pot options with different kinds of broth and ingredients which I love--some of the broths aren't even options at regular hot pot! There's also rice and noodle options with your broth and you can make additional side orders of appetizers! Service is super great and the food is delicious. The pot comes out on top of a fire so it stays hot for a long time while you eat and you don't have to worry about it getting cold. I also just love the variability in the pots you can get so it never gets old. I have yet to try to drinks, but I highly recommend this place, especially on cold, rainy days! read more

The spicys taiwanese soup was delicious. Solid 10/10 we asked for bowls on the side because we were making a huge mess. we also got a steamed rice on the side and dumplings. the dumplings were fire 8.5 outta ten great little crisp to them the filling was spectacular. I am a huge fan of rice this comment isnt needed but of course the rice was amazing. they came and refilled out broth without us asking witch was super great. and we even got to order ourselves on a ipad! I loved it here very quiet music but good music. read more

This place was delightful! My friend and I came here and she tried a lot of fun veggies, while I got something really spicy. We did have a bit of trouble ordering because we are elder millennial hippies, but our server got us sorted out right away and she was very kind a patient. I'd been wanting to try hot pot for a while, since I always see women on Bumble BFF talking about it, haha! And I think this was a great introduction to the dining concept. My friend is a bit picky but still adventurous, and I'm neither picky nor adventurous, but there were still plenty of options for us. If you're in the mood for a big hot bowl of soup in a calm environment, this is the place! read more
Another winner in Beaverton area! Tasty Pot offers the warm deliciousness of hot pot. Simmering veggies, beef, fish cake, tofu in a flavorful soup that's not too overwhelming oily or spicy. Menu had a ton of soup varieties. Comes with free rice or clear noodles. Priced at around $16 per entree. Not bad since the quality is good. Drink menu has boba tea options that are decent. Not the same level as a shared tea or T4. Wish there were more side options like the basil popcorn chicken (or Taiwanese style spiced fried chicken). Order extra items like Smokey sausage, fish balls , tempera (fried fish cake) Fish cake is like the Asian version of bologna. It's often made of pollack fish, mixed with spice. You know that little naruto pink swirly thing in ramen? Yeah that's fish cake (kamaboko version). Actually the fake crab in a California roll is another type of fish cake. It's made from pollack. Crab Rangoon? Crab salad? Spicy volcano rolls, sushi burritos? Bet your bottom dollar that you've eaten fish cake before in a variety of ways. Super friendly staff, they checked in with us and offered broth refills. Cool interior left from when this place used to be a La Sen Vietnamese grill. Definitely worth another visit. read more

This place has authentic flavors that I think really similar to what I had in Taiwan. The service is amazing and they come to add water or soups quite often. The lunch hour is a little busy so you might need to wait for a while to get the hot pot ready. Overall I would like to have meals here again soon. read more

Tasty Pot offers a quick dinner option, it's delicious and has a diverse menu. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service make it a perfect spot for a satisfying meal. If you love your soups piping hot, like I do, this is the place for you. Taste and quality are on par with Boiling Point for me, which I crave immensely every now and again. The Lamb Hot Soup was filled with goodies like lamb slices, pork blood cake, and all sort of fishballs. The sauce selection was a bit limited but I was super impressed by how tailor made you could make your bowl. You can opt to take things out from the soup through their ordering; super neat. This is now going to be my go-to spot when I want to burn the roof of my mouth off with delicious hot soup. read more

No, it comes all hot and cooked in a big bowl ready to eat. I felt like the flavors are more concentrated so I dump them in a pot and add more water. Reheat on the stove and you're ready to eat. If you end up ordering sides they will also be cooked…
