Current menu at their food stall as of January 2025 -and they usually have some specials written on the board as well.

We are big fans of the Small Eats food cart with so many delicious Taiwan-style street food options at the Vancouver Farmers Market (it's open year round!). They have bao, rice bowls, scallion pancakes, and a variety of sandwiches, along with some beverages and they usually have some specials written on the board as well. Their team are all so friendly and upbeat, too. I recommend following them on Instagram for menu updates & news of special pop-ups they do from time to time. We recently ordered their special pop-up Lunar New Year menu and the entire meal was so incredibly delicious! Highly recommend!

The only place to get amazing Taiwanese snacks and breakfast items this side of town and they're all amazing! I've been visiting them the last 2 years at the Vancouver Farmer market and tried almost all their items. I love that they make their food from local produce and they can do veg friendly versions of most items (great for vegetarians and vegans) My fav items are their: - dan bing (super filling and fresh omelette wrap) - shao bing (sandwich with eggs, fresh veggies and secretly good veggie floss) - fan tuan (warm purple rice roll with pickles and goodies) - mapo tofu (it's so different and it's so good) They also sometimes do pop-ups (check out their Instagram) and that is so worth trying out.

The owners are a master at their own craft! From the bao buns to the braised pork belly bento, incredible! Everything was packed with flavor and insanely delicious. Worth all the wait

Loved it. I got the hot soy milk and the fan tuan with meat floss. the ratio of rice, pickle vegetable and meat was perfect.

Hands down my favorite Korean Chinese fusion spot in the greater Portland area!! Pan + Grill K…read moreFusion serves the best black bean noodles I've had around here - rich, savory, and full of that unmistakable wok hei flavor. The pork belly is high quality and they don't skimp on the veggies. Their tangsuyuk is another standout, perfectly crispy even when coated in sauce, which is no easy feat (if you know, you know). The wasabi shrimp has a unique, addictive flavor with just the right amount of crunch. And the kimchi burger? Thoughtfully crafted with a soft brioche bun, a juicy, flavorful patty, and kimchi that really pops. Beyond the food, the hospitality makes the experience even better. Sam and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. They are happy to offer recommendations, check in throughout your meal, and always greet you with a smile. If I lived closer, I would be there all the time, especially to take advantage of their lunch specials. If you are in the area, this place is an absolute must try, especially since they are always updating the menu with new dishes to try!

I didn't give it a 5 star because I was a bit disappointed with how little protein they add to their ganjjajang. First time I ordered the pork and then I ordered the seafood on another visit. The taste was amazing and authentic but I was disappointed with the pork because they give you like 6 pieces of pork and there is tiny fried pieces as well but the size of a scab lol. I love the big pieces of veggies in it but it's sad they can't do the same with the protein. Now with the seafood version it was the exact same thing very little protein but mountain of veggies except this time the zucchini was so tiny while they gave me giant blocks of onions again I don't mind that but it's all disproportionate. Nothing to what I have had at different Korean spots in Arizona. Everything else is amazing like their fried rice or bulgogi burgers. Their tteokboki is alright it's a niche type of dish so it won't be for everyone. It was more sweet than I like but that's just a me thing. Service was great and the ambiance was chill, quiet and cozy. We will still be returning just maybe will stop ordering the jajamyeon unfortunately.

Enjoyed our dinner at Taste of China…read more We ordered won ton soup, Mongolian beef, brown rice, and garden vegetable mix. I'm allergic to shrimp, so the server gave us extra BBQ pork slices in our won ton soup. The soup was delicious. We appreciate that the soup base wasn't salty. The won tons were cooked perfectly. The soup had vegetables as well. The Mongolian beef was tasty, and went well with the brown rice we ordered. The garden vegetables were slightly overcooked, but plentiful. I loved the light sauce because it didn't overpower the crisp-tender vegetables. We also ordered hot green tea. We appreciated that they offer free refills. The quantity served was greater than expected. Enough for a second dinner at home tomorrow. This will be our go-to place locally for Chinese food. Service was excellent. Plus, they gave my husband a military discount (he's a U.S. Air Force veteran). The restaurant was busy. Not too loud. My husband and I were still able to carry on a conversation. I highly recommend Taste of China for those looking for reasonable prices, a nice selection of Chinese dishes, wonderful service, and good food. It's across the street from Costco, on the same side of the road as Home Depot. We will definitely be back.

The first two bad experiences were delivery. I did not receive the food that was ordered. I believe I received someone else'. When I tried to call them regarding the situation, they were closed. I called the next day and they said that they needed to hear from me the same day. The second delivery was accurate, the food was terrible. I went in yesterday to eat at the restaurant. I am so sad to say that it was absolutely terrible. I took two bites of every item ordered, their deluxe combo. My server saw that I was not eating it, she brought me a box and my check. She did not ask how the food was or if there was a problem. Because the portions are large and I had not eaten any of it, I had a lot of food. She brought me one small container. I asked for enough containers to take it all. I paid my bill and left. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this. They have lost their sense of customer service and their food quality/flavor. The photo that is attached shows a beautiful plate of food, however, there was no flavor in any of the options.

The flavors of the food across the board are so much stronger and complex than literally all other Chinese food restaurants I've ever patronized. Their operating model, though, is confusing. They have a lot of "ready now" entrees pre-made for immediate service (think "Panda Express"), and several others that are made-to-order. The "made to order" seems to be the better choice, as what's in the "ready to go" section may well have been sitting around long enough to get soggy. I know this from firsthand experience when some of my General Tso's chicken was the last of what was premade, and the rest was fresh. Not surprisingly, the fresh portion was hot and crispy (and DELICIOUS), and the portion from the premade batch was soggy and lukewarm. There are two chairs in the interior for patrons, so be prepared to stand while your order is filled. Parking is easy as Mar's is attached to a unique and charming Country store with its own parking lot.
