We tried this place after seeing some reviews. The place was completely full when we got there around 6pm on a Saturday. It did take a long time to get the food, however it was very tasty and was clearly made to order. We tried the king curry, bbq pork lomein, and the number 7. I was a big fan of the lomein however the pork was a little dry. But overall it was really good. The staff was really apologetic for how long the service took. It was appreciated and we will definitely be back.

We thought we found our restaurant. The Salt and Pepper Shrimp used to be an awesome experience. Last 2 times it was breaded, the breading didn't hold the crunch. Sesame balls were raw as were the Crab Puffs. Fried rrice was white rice with soy sauce.

Our second visit, we had the Dragon and Phoenix, and House Special Lomein. Included a choice of egg-drop or sweet and sour soup and oolong tea. Fresh vegetables, al dente. They reminded me of Chinatown Friday nights in NYC back in the day. Cantonese classics. Great service, no hurry. Relaxing. The noodles were cooked right, and the beef, chicken, and shrimp were tender and plentiful. Generous portions. As good as it was, we barely managed half of it. I'm looking forward to the second round.

Took a drive to Vancouver, as I really wanted to pay sales tax on lunch, I wasn't disappointed. Very easy to find crossing the 205 bridge, 2nd right. The hot and sour soup was delicious but just average. Val sad her broccoli beef was not bad, meaning she's had much better. I ordered off the regular menu as I wanted to try their fried shrimp. I think you can see the two of them, very small and almost tasteless. Egg roll was passable and my lunch was average, but no fat or gristle, and not very spicy. Service was fast and efficient, but as usual, one must wait while the takeout orders are picked up. And who knows, maybe they called in their orders earlier than my arrival, I doubt it. A tad on the expensive side, but I did include a 22% tip, which was one of the options on my bill. Would I go back, probably not worth the extra money, and sales tax, and just passable Chinese food.

Vancouver has a real gem here for Chinese food lovers on both sides of the river. Plentiful portions, fresh-tasting ingredients, cooked spot-on. No over-cooked anything here. This has become my current #1, and delivery makes it easy to indulge.

Excellent food, the decor is cute, the flowered entryway makes you feel as if you're entering an exotic paradise. The staff was attentive and helpful. They have lunch specials and dinner entrees both at reasonable prices. The secret menu is where the good stuff is and they give you 10% off your next visit when you discover it. One of my new favorite local spots for lunch.

New Peking is where the old Jerusalem Cafe used to be. We love trying new places especially if they're in our back yard! We were immediately greeted by a young gentleman who set our table up and returned shortly with soup. A great touch and we thought the service meter spiked at that point. We ordered Orange Chicken and Four Happiness. Food was fresh and flavorful and we stuffed ourselves. The menu is quaint and not loaded up with 100's of dishes, which we like. Dining in was great and recommend that over takeout any day. Really had a great experience and will be a frequent flyer here.

Great source of lo mein and fried rice! My BF says these are his favorite noodles if he's in the mood for them. I have enjoyed the chicken and the shrimp fried rice on our first visit and second visit respectively which we both agreed is also great. Staff are friendly and welcoming. You can order online from their website which is really convenient if you're en route. And we will be on our next carb craving! :)

The soy sauce bottle was weirdly caked in something

So I drive by here pretty frequently and thought I'd stop in since they had been open about a month now. Located inside the strip mall (where the old Jerusalem Cafe used to be), I arrived with my partner around lunch time. The restaurant was moderately busy, with nice booths and an open floor plan, which looked clean. We sat at a booth and things started going a bit down from there. The server was very friendly and attentive, which was nice. He brought us hot tea and waters and asked what we would like. The menu is smaller than most American Chinese restaurants, but if you do dishes well, that can be a bonus. We ordered pot stickers as an appetizer, with my partner getting the Mongolian chicken and I getting the house fried rice. As we sat waiting, I noticed the soy sauce container was caked in old soy sauce. Like, weirdly so. So I swapped it out for another one on an empty table. The server brought the pot stickers over and set them down with sauce and left. Interestingly, there were no little plates for us to eat the potstickers on so it was a bit messy to share. The sauce was unlike any potsticker sauce I've ever had. It was cloyingly sweet, and syrupy in texture. The pot stickers themselves were good though. When I attempted to use soy sauce, I found out why the other one had been caked in it. I found out why the other one had been caked in it.. since for some reason the soy sauce didn't come out of them very easily and almost had to be shook out. Then my partners Mongolian chicken came out. The white rice was good, if a touch dry. The chicken wasn't bad, but it was a tad bland overall. My house fried rice came next, which I think was probably the best dish we had. The prices for the portions (17.95 and 18.95 for the entrees, 11.95 for the potstickers) seemed a lil high for the quality/portions, but I get that folks gotta account for inflation and that sort of thing. I don't think we'd be back. While it wasn't bad, it also wasn't a great experience for fifty dollars, and I think there are other places locally that tend to do a better job. I do hope they do well though, I just didn't find it to my taste.

The pork belly is high quality and they don't skimp on the veggies. Their tangsuyuk is another standout, perfectly crispy even when coated in sauce, which is no easy feat (if you know, you know). The wasabi shrimp has a unique, addictive flavor with just the right amount of crunch. And the kimchi burger? Thoughtfully crafted with a soft brioche bun, a juicy, flavorful patty, and kimchi that really pops. Beyond the food, the hospitality makes the experience even better. Sam and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. They are happy to offer recommendations, check in throughout your meal, and always greet you with a smile. If I lived closer, I would be there all the time, especially to take advantage of their lunch specials. I didn't give it a 5 star because I was a bit disappointed with how little protein they add to their ganjjajang. First time I ordered the pork and then I ordered the seafood on another visit. The taste was amazing and authentic but I was disappointed with the pork because they give you like 6 pieces of pork and there is tiny fried pieces as well but the size of a scab lol. I love the big pieces of veggies in it but it's sad they can't do the same with the protein. Now with the seafood version it was the exact same thing very little protein but mountain of veggies except this time the zucchini was so tiny while they gave me giant blocks of onions again I don't mind that but it's all disproportionate. Nothing to what I have had at different Korean spots in Arizona. Everything else is amazing like their fried rice or bulgogi burgers. Their tteokboki is alright it's a niche type of dish so it won't be for everyone. It was more sweet than I like but that's just a me thing. Service was great and the ambiance was chill, quiet and cozy. We will still be returning just maybe will stop ordering the jajamyeon unfortunately.

I'm allergic to shrimp, so the server gave us extra BBQ pork slices in our won ton soup. The soup was delicious. We appreciate that the soup base wasn't salty. The won tons were cooked perfectly. The soup had vegetables as well. The Mongolian beef was tasty, and went well with the brown rice we ordered. The garden vegetables were slightly overcooked, but plentiful. I loved the light sauce because it didn't overpower the crisp-tender vegetables. We also ordered hot green tea. We appreciated that they offer free refills. The quantity served was greater than expected. Enough for a second dinner at home tomorrow. This will be our go-to place locally for Chinese food. Service was excellent. Plus, they gave my husband a military discount (he's a U.S. Air Force veteran). The restaurant was busy. Not too loud. My husband and I were still able to carry on a conversation. The flavors of the food across the board are so much stronger and complex than literally all other Chinese food restaurants I've ever patronized. Their operating model, though, is confusing. They have a lot of "ready now" entrees pre-made for immediate service (think "Panda Express"), and several others that are made-to-order. The "made to order" seems to be the better choice, as what's in the "ready to go" section may well have been sitting around long enough to get soggy. I know this from firsthand experience when some of my General Tso's chicken was the last of what was premade, and the rest was fresh. Not surprisingly, the fresh portion was hot and crispy (and DELICIOUS), and the portion from the premade batch was soggy and lukewarm. There are two chairs in the interior for patrons, so be prepared to stand while your order is filled. Parking is easy as Mar's is attached to a unique and charming Country store with its own parking lot.
