The staff is super friendly here was attentive to my needs. The Bbh was kind of bland and tasted kind of water down and it definitely needed more fish sauce or something salty to the broth. There was enough meat and not enough noodles. The chicken pho was actually pretty rich and fatty in flavor so I enjoyed that but still missing that umami. Pho Kim is my current favorite and go to pho spot. I've only ordered delivery so I can't speak on service or ambience. My orders have always been packaged securely and nice presentation.. especially the soft tendon. I love the tendon so much that I had to order extra this time and it was worth it. Lol what a name. But this seems like a legit pho spot, lots of tables and space for big groups, and they seem to always be cranking out tons of pho. They have a lot more types of pho than the 3 or 4 choices that are offered at most places (I didn't even know there were that many types of pho) as well as some other non-pho items. But of course we just got our usual Bun Bo Hue. This one has the actual blood cake piece if you're into that. I like that you can order extra sides of tripe/tendon for cheap, and they are generous portions. Plus you can order one of the huge broth bones for $6 if you feel like gnawing some extra meat or want to treat your doggo (it was bigger than my foot lol). Food: One of my go-to options here, much like many others is the Super Bowl. Nine times out of ten, they are pretty consistent but there has been one time when I felt like a dried-out sponge that needed to be thrown into the pacific ocean because of the MSG. WOW one of the best pho in town. Its a must go if you're craving for some pho FOOD We got an assortment of dishes. The typical "#1 large", pork and chicken Banh Mi. The pho is absolutely fantastic. The soup tasted genuine and they gave a huge portion of meat as well. The only downside is the large looked about the same size as the regular one. The BanhMi is absolutely insane. It came out in a crunchy yet soft baguette and the fillings are grilled to perfection with ample amount of meat as well. I came here recently really excited for some nice warm noodles and was disappointed. We ordered a bowl of pho and a bowl of hu tieu, and both were far from what we were used to at Pho Kim. The pho was lacking meat and the broth wasn't as rich as it typically was. However, I was more disappointed by the hu tieu as there was more fish balls in the bowl, rather than actual seafood, and there was almost no flavor to the broth. My work place chose to order food from here out of how catchy the name sounds (pronounced "phuk him" by anyone non-vietnamese). We ordered 10 dishes and this place got our orders 100% correct. I am very impressed there were no mix-ups or hiccups in getting our food. There were requests for soy sauce instead of fish sauce, and the workers were happy to give us the substitute. If you make this request anywhere else (like Bui Tofu), you'll likely be greeted with attitude and remarks like "this dish is normally served with fish sauce..." well your fish sauce smells like a butthole and you don't do everything normal like you should either. They have the Vietnamese workers who whip some great pho. They had a remodel, so I appreciate the cleanliness of the place. The pho broth is flavorful and yummy. Noodle and meat ratio was on point. The temperature of the broth was also soup-er HOT, which is perfect because you want the broth to remain warm throughout the meal. Solid 4.5/5 stars. The only reason why I rounded down was that there were a few mistakes on my order. No big deal. But I definitely recommend this place. Coming from Orange County, CA, the land of Vietnamese food in the U.S., perhaps my standards for Vietnamese food is a little higher than it should. I'll admit that. So I have to say, when my aunt invited me to eat at Pho Kim, I was skeptical but kept an open mind. I was glad I ate here because I was so pleasantly surprised at how good everything is. They offer the legit stuff here! They have a very large menu with several rice dishes, vermicelli dishes, noodles, and vegetarian options. I saw at least 2-3 things I wanted to try. Alas, I decided to get their vermicelli noodles with tofu skin shrimp, grilled chicken, and grilled shrimp. Everything was great! I was very impressed. My aunt let me try some of her banh beo, which is mini rice flour pancakes topped with bits of shrimp and fried pork skin. Yum!! Service is quick and I would even add friendly. I too am an Asian and I'm a 20% or more tipper every time I go but the service quality has changed compared to when the older owner was there, the service was excellent and the food quality was excellent too but now everything seems to be going downhill!! I've been coming here since it opened and even before when it was Carrow's that was open 24/7. The owners son is an ass-hat who accused me of ordering a wrong item from the menu and said that they didn't serve Vietnamese coffee which is right there in the menu and was plainly visible at other Vietnamese customers tables! I ordered S-8 and salad rolls with no peanuts in the sauce, and Vietnamese coffee. They brought out a Super Bowl Pho at first and I said it wasn't mine, and the waiter immediately took it over to another customers table. They brought out S - 7 instead and again said that's not mine, the waitress took it back and brought it back saying that is what I ordered! She placed the noodle soup and walked off into the kitchen! Than they brought me a mocha in a paper cup??? I said I ordered a Vietnamese coffee and not a mocha in a paper cup, she takes it back and she brings back another paper cup filled with regular coffee, I thought What the fu_k is going on here? I thought I was on some weird hidden camera kind of thing, I got up without eating or drinking anything and was about to walk out since I didn't eat anything or drank anything which I ordered, the owner's son says "SIR!" You need to pay! I said - pay for what? I didn't get what I ordered and now your wanting me to pay for your mistakes?
