Was looking for Dan Dan Noodles close to my location. Found Yang's Noodle and I am delighted that I did! I called in an order, found a nearby parking spot and ventured into the cozy little spot on NE Alberta. Street parking is tight but if you are lucky you can find a spot on side streets if there's nothing on Alberta. In addition to the Dan Dan Noodles that I had my heart set on, I ordered the Crispy Scallions Pancakes. Both wee delicious!!! The noodles were chewy in the best way, the meat topping was plentiful and the spice level was perfect. I would, and will order Dan Dan Noodles from Yang's again and again. The Crispy Scallion Pancakes were the best I have ever had! Light, crispy, not greasy in the least. I'll work my way through the Noodle menu, but I will order those Pancakes every time I visit! The service was great, my order was ready when I walked in the door. The staff was polite and friendly. And the prices were fair. I was impressed by food, service and price point. Ordered pork belly noodles ($13), spicy pork wontons ($7), and peking duck jianbing ($14). I really wanted to like this place because the prices and portion sizes were very good! My biggest complaint is that everything is TOO SALTY. Pork belly noodles - had PLENTY of meat and veggies in it. Noodles tasted fresh, bouncy, and nicely cooked in a wok. Wontons - wrapper was a little on the thicker side and fell apart easily unfortunately. Again, the chili oil used here was too salty too. Duck jianbing - it had a fried wonton wrapper inside so it was nice and crispy. Disappointed how small the filling was. I could forgive all the downsides to the food I had if it wasn't TOO SALTY. I visited Yang's Noodle for dinner recently. It was quick and easy to order at the kiosk. I ordered spicy pork belly noodles and a lavender milk tea. The tea was average. The noodles were very good. The fried chicken jianbing, with shredded potatoes and hot scallion chili oil is amazingly good. Best jianbing I've had in terms of flavor and depth - and also texture. Definitely a must have - I'm sure their other ones are really good based on this. And the wontons in chili oil are extremely flavorful - not at all spicy, but has enough heat and a hint of sweet almost that made it irresistible! Try this place and those dishes! Amazing! First time here and it certainly won't be my last. I ordered the Peking Duck Jianbing and added potatoes and it was delicious. The duck was tender and juicy and the potatoes were the cherry on top. The crepe like wrap is the perfect vessel for the duck, potatoes, picked veggies and cilantro. I added some chili oil to spice things up. I also ordered a lychee tee that hit the spot. The ambience is very laid back. You can order via a monitor at the front desk or directly with a person. You may ask, what the hell is a JianBing? I was feeling adventurous, so I decided to find out. It is the Chinese equivalent of a Taco Bell Crunchwrap with a wide variety of filling options. My choice was a Mushroom JianBing. Did I want to add a Chinese Donut? I have no idea what that is, so yes please! What I got was a sesame crusted soft tortilla wrapped around 2 kinds of fried dough with sliced button mushrooms in a sweet and spicy sauce. Totally weird, but in a good-sticky way. I also ordered crab rangoon which was a total fail - no trace of crab, just cream cheese, and a horrible dipping sauce. This is fast food with very limited meatless options. Picked up an order for my family today- Mongolian Beef Noodles, plain noodles, shrimp fried rice, scallion pancake, crab rangoon, plus a mango popping jelly tea and a brown sugar Boba tea. We got everything non spicy, as we weren't sure what their levels were. Mongolian noodles were thick and chewy, flavor bombs, BUT- I wish I had gotten some spice. And extra meat. Otherwise, perfection. Plain noodles were for the kid. He had some concerns since they were plain and brown, but he gobbled them up. My husband ate the entire shrimp and rice dish, only wishing he had more shrimp. The scallion pancake was flaky and delicious, the rangoon needed more crab but were sweet and crisp. In general, everything was quite clean and did not taste of oil. Our drinks were, as the kids say, "fire!". We will come back, because I would love to try a little more spice! read more

My mom and I were on a lookout to find a new restaurant to try, and we stumbled upon Yang's Noodle since we live close by! There was a self-serve kiosk, so we ordered a plate of Mongolian Beef Noodles ($14.75), Spicy Pork Wontons ($6.99), and Peking Duck Jianbing ($13.99). There was a big portion for the noodles, so my mom and I didn't even finish everything. The Mongolian Beef Noodles were a bit too sweet for our taste, but it had a good amount of spiciness to it. The spicy pork wontons had a good flavor, but the sauce that they use is just chili oil, so there was just a lot of oil on the bottom. It would've been nice if they made a spicy sauce to go with the wontons. The star today was definitely the peking duck jianbing! It was so delicious and satisfying. There was a good amount of duck in it, the crunch in the center made for good texture when you bite into it, and it was just so tasty. I'd love to order another one in a different flavor. The pancake was also really big too. I did write that I wanted the spicy mayo and chili oil on the side, but they forgot about that. The restaurant was clean and there was a lot of options for seating. I also like that they leave extra plates, spoons, and takeout boxes up front so you don't have to ask them for it. The flavors in the dishes were good, but it was a bit oily. I'd still come back and try the fried rice, another jianbing, and a different flavor of noodles to see if there's still a sweetness to it! read more

Yangs is a killer spot for fast and delicious noodles. Have only ordered via takeout but both times it has been an absolute hit. They're super fast and food is ready to go when I arrive. I've had the dumplings, fried rice and two different noddle dishes. Things are hearty but don't feel greasy which can be the case with some noodle joints. It's a casual spot with a fast casual type atmosphere but things are clean and bright which I can appreciate. The service has always been strong and this will definitely be a place we go back to again and again. Also the food is very reasonably priced and the portions are massive which is a huge selling point for me. Give them a try! read more

We ordered the A3 Spicy Pork Wonton, A5 Pork Xiao Long Bao, B3 Mongolian Beef Noodle, and B8 Dan Dan Noodle. Every item I ordered was really incredible. I didn't realize I ordered long boa and usually not a fan...however... I was incredibly pleased with them and they didn't scald my tongue maybe bc there was more pork than lava inside them. The duck wraps were perfectly wonderful and the spicy wontons??? Yang's Noodle seems like one of those places that's highly dependent on what you order. Or maybe the time of day you go in? Or the day itself, or the phase of the moon? My point is, my experience here hasn't been consistent, but when it's good, it's good enough to keep me coming back. My friend lives in the neighborhood, and the first time I came in I was pet-sitting for them, feeling under the weather, and craving some soothing comfort food. Noodles are that for me, so I was hoping it'd hit the spot. I ordered the spicy pork wonton and the kimchi beef noodles. There was a bit of confusion with the person at the counter - they thought I said wonton soup, and I reaffirmed that I wanted the spicy wontons. You know what happened next - I got home and opened the takeout container to find that I had indeed been given wonton soup. Oops. Although it wasn't what I wanted, it was comforting and tasty. The kimchi beef noodles were the real star of the show. Super flavorful, with pops of acid from the kimchi, and plentiful, tender thin slices of beef. The noodles were thick and had a great chew, and the portion was generous enough for two filling meals. The next time I went in, I ordered the you po noodles. While the noodles were still great and the portion plentiful, the toppings and flavor were lacking. I ate all the ground pork out of the dish on the first go and had to dress it up with more protein and lots of chili oil the next day. I'm not sure if it's a menu item issue or a consistency issue, but the second visit was a bit disappointing. The pork belly was a little too fatty for my taste but I did like the cabbage in the dish. Portions are pretty big as there was still some food leftover when we were finished. You order via a tablet at the front which I don't love but if you're trying to interact with less people, it's a good spot. The vibe of the restaurant is pretty standard fast casual. I wasn't particularly impressed by the noodle dishes, they seemed pretty average but they recently started serving Jianbing too which I enjoyed. While I think master Kong does a better classic jianbing that is cheaper, I like these one because they have more options w/ fillings like spicy lamb and Peking duck. I also like that they are rolled tighter a bit more burrito style and cut in half making it easier to eat. They cost around $12-$14. read more

Came here after reading the reviews as it is located on a cute street with lots of different small boutique stores. I ordered the you po noodles and the spicy noodle soup and spicy wonton. As someone who loves spice I was disappointed that the soup and noodles lacked any flavor. It wasn't that spicy but they do have chili oil that you can grab and use which really helped to add some flavor and spice. I was also expecting different types of noodles but it is similar to a frozen udon type noodle. The service was very friendly and quick to make the food.
