It's been awhile since I came here, but a friend really liked one of their dishes and recommended to eat her for lunch. The place is nice and clean. The person working was quick to take out orders and made sure we got what we needed. I tried something different this time - Korner Super Bowl Pho, which had a good amount of meat that included beef rib, oxtail, top round steak, lean brisket, tendon, tripe, and beef meatballs. The bowl was good and filling. It was a good choice on a cold day. My friend liked their Bun Mam, a salted fish stewed soup with vermicelli noodles.

Literally the Best Pho I've ever had!!! And for an amazing price ! The interior of the building was full of beautiful plants and gorgeous vases and artwork . The pho had so many veggies and I've never had so many herbs added for free! The owner was kind and the service was quick ! Definitely a destination spot as Iive in Beaverton ! I give them 20 stars!

I'm from California and wanted to try a PHO spot when I came to Portland. I'm so glad I came to PHO KORNER. The restaurant was super clean and well organized. I felt welcomed. Their food was hot and tasty. Honestly better than my go to from California. Would recommend to anybody.

Solid Vietnamese food with good service! We enjoyed the "Super Bowl" Pho, vermicelli bowl with chicken and Bánh xèo.

Arrived at pho Korner this weekend around 9AM. The only pho Resturant open to us around this time. Attentive and friendly staff. Food was delicious. We ordered 1 small beef special & vegetable pho also small. My only complaint is they used grilled chicken in their broth and Although it was full of flavor I didn't really want it. The veggie pho came with carrots, bok choy, cabbage, mushrooms & broccoli. I appreciate this Resturant for adding more veggies into their veggie pho compared to other establishments. All & all. We would come back & try their other dishes due to friendly staff and good food.

Well, not the best photo... but it was good soup!

With new owners and a new name, I have great hopes that Pho Korner will live up to the standards set by it's predecessor Pho Corner. The new owners have placed a significant amount of time and money updating the kitchen and facilities during a recent two-month closure, let's hope that energy comes through in their food as well. My simple order today consisted of Pho and Thai tea. The noodles weren't overcooked, offering the perfect amount of springiness required for dishing up and reheating at home. The broth did what any broth should do, filling my car with it's smokey fragrance the entire ride home. Oh, how I do love Pho! Here's a quick shoutout of gratitude for being generous with your toppings, Pho Korner. There was plenty of basil, lime, jalapeño, sprouts and unidentified weeds go around. Have I shared my Pho hack with you, yet? I take the white onions out of the topping mixture and quickly sauté them in a little sesame oil before adding them to the soup. I swear it makes the dish taste so much better! Then again, maybe I'm crazy. Try it and tell me what you think. This Vietnamese restaurant has long been one of my favorites because it's much closer in than some of the places out on 82nd. The food has consistently been delicious. And the dining area has always been sparkling clean and spacious. Next time I visit I'll try something else and let you know what I think.

Fantastic fresh food. Good service. Ate at PK a few times while in town. Highly recommended.

My family came here for lunch, everything was fresh and delicious. Super polite and friendly staff, we liked how they asked questions during the meal. Really chill Vietnamese music in the background. Must try, especially their special Pho!

The pho is amazing! Taste so good and has amazing flavor:) the people there are very nice, definitely come and ask if you need anything ( but give you a good amount of time to eat and not interrupt you) it's very clean inside and has a very warm feel.

The Wonton Noodle Soup is incredible. Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. We also love the vermicelli noodle bowl with grilled pork, shrimp, and egg roll. Their pho is also great as well. The staff is so friendly and always remembers us when we come in. Highly recommended!

    Wonton soup .... Yum!

This is a great find in PDX. Perfect for a cold and miserable PNW day. I had the wonton soup and the salad rolls. I would recommend both. The service was great and the people were very friendly.

    Waiting for my takeout.

The neon lights and vibrant atmosphere are a total dopamine boost, especially after a night out! I hadn't been back since their post-COVID renovation, and I was so impressed! They have a dedicated pickup area for to-go orders, and dining in is quick and efficient, even when there's a line. With that being said, I do think that the food could use a bit more work. The restaurant is called Luc Lac, and so naturally I ordered their namesake dish. The beef was not very tender or juicy and the flavors overall seemed to be lacking. Portion sizes, however, are very generous, so I'll give them that. I tried the Durian Horchata and sadly could not taste any durian flavor. I know that durian can be an acquired taste (and smell), but the drink just tasted like a regular horchata with some hints of pandan. Maybe I will return to try their cocktails.

The egg noodle bowl on the top with fried chicken and tofu was phenomenal. The chicken was similar to fish sauce wings and the tofu was very caramelized and had a nice salty coating of sauce. An order of spring rolls were also ordered, but wasn't in the photo. It was ordered with crispy pork belly. Based on some reviews, I was skeptical about ordering the pork belly, but I was pleasantly surprised. The skin was very crispy and you could hear the crunch from across the restaurant. Downtown Portland's hidden gem for authentic Vietnamese!…read more I was walking around downtown Portland and stumbled upon Cuốn Vietnamese Street Food, and honestly, it was the best meal of my week . If you are looking for fresh, flavorful, and satisfying comfort food, do not walk--run to this spot. To get the full experience, we ordered a variety, and every single item was a hit. We started with the Beef Pho, and the broth was the absolute star. It was rich, aromatic, and deeply savory, clearly simmered for hours. It was the perfect dish on a sunny Portland day. We also grabbed a Chicken Banh Mi. The bread had that perfect crispy crust with a soft, airy crumb, and the chicken was grilled to perfection with fresh veggies and herbs. Of course, we had to wash it all down with a creamy, sweet Thai Tea--it was delicious and the perfect end to the meal. Beyond the food, the vibe is great. It's a super clean, casual spot with big windows letting in lots of natural light. It's set up for quick counter service, which makes it perfect for a fast lunch downtown, but the staff is so friendly and welcoming that you feel right at home. It's a family-run business, and you can taste the passion in the food. Highlights: · The Pho Broth: Seriously some of the best in the city. · The Banh Mi: Fresh bread, great fillings. · The Service: Fast, efficient, and incredibly kind. Pro Tip: Don't forget to grab your own utensils and sauces (the chili crisp is a must for the pho), and help yourself to the free self-serve hot tea. It's the little touches like that which make this place a winner. I am already planning my next trip back to try the Crispy Pork Belly. Highly recommend

Positives: fresh, well made, very flavorful proteins. Cons:…read morePrice I tried Cuon for the first time and enjoyed it. I went for a Vermicelli bowl where you get to pick 2 proteins. I selected Pork Belly (their specialty) and lemongrass chicken. The bowl itself is standard Vietnamese fare, nothing special, creative or exciting in that sense. That said, the ingredients tasted fresh and the proteins were very well seasoned and cooked. The pork belly skin had an awesome crunch and you can clearly taste the lemongrass in the chicken. The included spring roll had nice crunch but little flavor. Unfortunately, outside of Pho, Banh Mi and Noodle Bowls, there's sadly not much else to the menu. No Vietnamese salads, stir frys, etc. Either way, what they do make, they seem to make quite well. So, on to my main issue ie, that for a place thats only open for lunch, the prices are a bit too high. I noted about $16 for a Banh Mi sandwich, no sides. Pho was around $20 and my noodle bowl was about $20 as well. Weirdly, its about the same prices as eating lunch back home in Miami, a FAR more expensive city in general. In fact, I've often had more exciting Vietnamese in Manhattan for lower prices. So while its easy to recommend Cuon on quality, its not a top recommendation for lunch value in the PDX which is why Im docking 1 star.
