This is my go to spot if I'm in the craving for Vietnamese cuisine.Staff is very nice and attentive. The restaurant itself is super clean. The broth has a good depth of flavor that doesn't need extra condiments in it. The rice dishes are phenomenal and fills you up. Top tier spot in my book. read more

I came to Pho Korner with one thing on my mind: cahn chua ca and ca kho. I had been craving both, and thankfully, they hit the spot. There's something so comforting about getting the Vietnamese dishes you've been thinking about all day, and this meal definitely satisfied that craving. The cahn chua ca had that wonderful sweet-and-sour flavor I was looking for, while the ca kho was rich, savory, and comforting. I was very happy with the flavors overall and left feeling like I had finally gotten my Vietnamese food fix. My only little complaint is that I wish the fish slices were bigger! I wanted more of that delicious fish with every bite. Still, when the craving hits, this is the kind of meal that makes you glad you went. I'd come back for these dishes again. read more

The soup was pretty flavorless, that is a small and all i could stomach was the meat. Worst part was for that and a coffee it was $27 for a small pho, a nastu one at that??? read more

I love this place! It used to be my childhood diner and I was sad when it changed over but after trying the pho, my mind was changed! Super authentic and great flavors! read more

Stopped by here during my short stay in Portland. It was closeby to my Abnb. Came for dinner and it was pretty empty. Despite it being empty, the food and service was fantastic. I had the vermicelli noodles with shrimp, eggroll and grilled pork. The egg rolls were piping hot and crispy. The shrimp had a lot of meat and was really good with the sauce. My wife had the beef pho and she ate everything. The vermicelli and basil was really fresh. They have a vast menu. The parking lot is really big. The price of food is pretty good for the portion. They gave us hot tea and water which I thought was nice. It is somewhat quiet inside with music at an appropriate volume for conversations. read more

You know how you try a restaurant when it first opens up in your neighborhood, and then something happens - - either you don't like it or it's nothing special, or there's something better. That's what happened with me and this place. Well, we tried it again last night and I was like - - YUM!!!! Yes, the vibe could be better. Yes, I wish there was a full bar with fun cocktails. But I gotta get over that. The food is delicious. And they have a big menu with lots of options for everyone. Salad rolls were yum. Chicken satay was so moist and flavorful. They have one of the best crispy crepes I've ever had. Shrimp pho was good but will probably skip next time because we ordered way too much food. Service is quick and efficient. Maybe too quick. All the food basically came out at the same time - - ugh, what do you eat first before things start getting cold? Dining room is big with space between tables. Bathrooms are to the right of the entrance. Parking lot out front with plenty of parking. Definitely worth a try. We will be back. read more

It's been awhile since I came here, but a friend really liked one of their dishes and recommended to eat her for lunch. The place is nice and clean. The person working was quick to take out orders and made sure we got what we needed. I tried something different this time - Korner Super Bowl Pho, which had a good amount of meat that included beef rib, oxtail, top round steak, lean brisket, tendon, tripe, and beef meatballs. The bowl was good and filling. It was a good choice on a cold day. My friend liked their Bun Mam, a salted fish stewed soup with vermicelli noodles. read more

My extended family (all ages ) loves this restaurant and we return to it often. We usually order salad rolls, spring rolls, beef noodle pho, a rice dish, fish sauce fried chicken wings, and a few other dishes. Service is excellent. There is parking. Really good value here. A treasure. read more

Really cute inside and plenty of parking. The staff is really nice and check back often, which can be a nice pace change from bigger Pho places. Prompt service, but not in a hurry, which I appreciate. I'd say the food here is great. Broth (beef Pho) is rich and clear. Noodles have a little bite to them and the meat portion is generous. I will say that I will return based on price as well, most Pho I get is usually about $18-20 dollars a bowl these days, and at $16 for a large (most, I think the special is a bit more), is a bargain! Salad rolls are also good, tried the pork skin, and while not really my thing, that's a me issue, wrap was fresh, veggies crisp and pork skin was a fun texture. I like the fish sauce that came with. read more

Food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back. Spacious and the ambience is great

Literally the Best Pho I've ever had!!! And for an amazing price ! The interior of the building was full of beautiful plants and gorgeous vases and artwork . I give them 20 stars! read more

Arrived at pho Korner this weekend around 9AM. The only pho Resturant open to us around this time. Attentive and friendly staff. Food was delicious. We ordered 1 small beef special & vegetable pho also small. My only complaint is they used grilled chicken in their broth and Although it was full of flavor I didn't really want it. The veggie pho came with carrots, bok choy, cabbage, mushrooms & broccoli. I appreciate this Resturant for adding more veggies into their veggie pho compared to other establishments. All & all. We would come back & try their other dishes due to friendly staff and good food. read more

The food is always fresh and tasty and they make it really quick. The staff are always pleasant .

We had the pho and I was very impressed with their Super Bowl. Once I got past the sticker shock of $21.95, looked a little closer and saw it included oxtail, I knew I needed to give it a try. The broth was full of flavor and had generous portions of various meats, including oxtail, which is one of my favorites. Staff were friendly and attentive, parking was plentiful. We didn't feel rushed. It's a great dish for our long wet season. read more

I was driving by in an area of Sandy I almost never go wishing I could get some Pho and saw an OPEN sign. It was before 10 and I thought, no way! And yes way. With new owners and a new name, I have great hopes that Pho Korner will live up to the standards set by it's predecessor Pho Corner. The new owners have placed a significant amount of time and money updating the kitchen and facilities during a recent two-month closure, let's hope that energy comes through in their food as well. My simple order today consisted of Pho and Thai tea. The noodles weren't overcooked, offering the perfect amount of springiness required for dishing up and reheating at home. The broth did what any broth should do, filling my car with it's smokey fragrance the entire ride home. Oh, how I do love Pho! Here's a quick shoutout of gratitude for being generous with your toppings, Pho Korner. There was plenty of basil, lime, jalapeño, sprouts and unidentified weeds go around. Have I shared my Pho hack with you, yet? I take the white onions out of the topping mixture and quickly sauté them in a little sesame oil before adding them to the soup. I swear it makes the dish taste so much better! Then again, maybe I'm crazy. Try it and tell me what you think. This Vietnamese restaurant has long been one of my favorites because it's much closer in than some of the places out on 82nd. The food has consistently been delicious. And the dining area has always been sparkling clean and spacious. Next time I visit I'll try something else and let you know what I think. read more

This place is easily one of my fave go to Uber eats to my office. I'm rarely on the NE side so being able to order some comfort food that's delicious is nice while working downtown. They always pack it carefully and ensure that my beef is separated so it's not overcooked by the time it gets to me. Their broth is really delicious and it makes for a great lunch. I'll have to go to the store sometime but it'll definitely stay in my rotation of meals. read more

Starting with the negative the only thing is when I first walked in it kinda smelled like moth balls. Now with the positives I was greeted and seated right away. The brought a glass of ice water and cup of tasty hot tea. Tables and floors were very clean, no stickiness, no clutter, no greasy film on surfaces. I ordered the #1 beef pho combination. Brought chili oil to the table with my pho. Tasted the broth and pleasantly surprised! The broth was soo yummy like home made. The noodles were a little too soft for me but it could have been because I didn't stir the bowl up right away because I was enjoying the broth too much. The meat was fresh and cooked perfectly. Meat was delicious and plentiful with good variety. Accompanying veggies were fresh and clean and the jalapeño was actually spicy which I loved. Definitely recommend and plan on coming back to try other items on the menu. read more

Ok.... yummy Pho at reasonable prices. The service is awesome as well. Right next to Pho An but definitely better in my book. Very spacious - but not comfy - venue offers traditional Vietnamese fare. The common drab interior is a far cry from aesthetically pleasing Pho Van. It seems like almost all Vietnamese restaurants tout the same menu with similar taste, but this is not necessarily a bad thing. Crispy Chicken Wings appetizer was real good. Skin wasn't caramelized, but rather crispy. They come out sizzling. The Special Chicken Salad was meh. Just some grilled pieces on a huge bed of cabbage. Pass. The Short Rib and Shrimp rice plate arrived cold. Another pass item. Portion was a bit small for the price. Rice was soft and fluffy, not hard like at Chinese places. I didn't connect with their version of Cafe Sua Da. Prices are higher here than at other Vietnamese restaurants. Parking is ample, and service is a bit above what you'd expect from such places. read more

A decent bowl of pho, perfect for when it's a cold day! Why I was here // had to get some pre-concert fuel and was also craving soup since it was cold Atmosphere // pretty dead, no music playing just silence...also we were the only people in that restaurant on a Saturday night with maybe 2 other groups Love // that they give a pot of tea on the house -I got the beef brisket pho large and it was perfect (I eat a lot so I always find myself ordering a large ) the portion wasn't overly heavy and there were generous portions of meat. The broth was standard, nothing too special but overall it was a solid meal. read more

On a cold, wet fall day, it's hard to beat a good bowl of pho. Pho Corner definitely delivered. The service was good and the pho was tasty. The broths were delicious, I didn't have to add anything to spice it up. The noodles were filling and held together well and still cut easily. The chicken in the pho was some interesting off cuts. I'd like to see a little better quality meat. The lunch was delicious and I would love to try some of the other menu options. read more

This has kind of been my go to for pho. It's family-owned and has great pho. I've also had their lemon grass chicken which was also tasty. Very happy with the food, service and prices! My partner and I get stuck in a rut when it comes to dining out. I am afraid we were going to another pho place down the road that just wasn't measuring up anymore. We have now dined in probably 5 times in the past two weeks. It has been so refreshing to receive top notch service and food. I highly recommend the salad rolls, pho - get the large, ginger stir fry and egg rolls. My partner also really enjoys the vermicelli bowls and they let him sub out the pork for chicken. Also, their hot oil is SO flavorful!!! 10/10 recommend! read more

Banh xeo was delicious. Pho was hot, plenty of meat, and noodles. Thai tea with Bobba was sweet enough

I come here with my family often, and I always get the same thing: Bun Mam. It is vermicelli noodles in fish stewed broth with vegetables. The amount of fish and vegetables are abundant even in the large bowl of soup. Don't plan on going anywhere for dessert because the bowl will definitely make you full! The shrimp is perfectly cooked, and they give a lot of fish. The eggplants are just perfect, and the broth is to die for. Service is excellent, and the servers are always polite. They have a small parking lot, but I never see it full. read more

Well I got to say I've had better Pho. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't the best I've ever had. I think that the broth was about average.I also had the spring rolls and they were mediocre-at-best seems like they weren't fresh. So I guess I can say I won't be back to visit this place because I'm quite sure that that's the first time experience is going to be my last. so with the fact I won't be coming back I won't have to worry about checking the bathroom to see if they ever cleaned it cuz that was quite the spectacle...good luck read more

* Special Combination Beef Noodle Soup (C1): Pho is always good when its cold outside but it tasted especially good this time. The beefy broth with the tendon and tripe was flavorful. It had the typical onions, green onions, and cilantro as well. It's a pretty basic pho but it satisfies the cravings! * Chicken Sate (A7): This appetizer consisted of juicy grilled chicken with a peanut sate sauce for dipping. It was nice and hot when it came out and not surprisingly, it was gone within 5 minutes. The service was fast and friendly. I'd recommend getting hot tea instead of water. This place isn't usually busy on the weekdays so there's plenty of parking. Lastly, there's a decent amount of options for rice, vermicelli, and pho. Overall, I'd come back again! read more

So, I'm no Pho connoisseur, however, I do know what tastes good and that is the Pho with beef brisket and beef balls. The broth was so flavorful without being too much or too little of anything. The brisket was delicious, not too chewy at all and beef balls tasted great. The rest of the fixings were nice and fresh as well. The salad rolls were nice and refreshing with good flavor, especially once dipped in the peanut sauce. I was very pleased. read more

04/11/19: 4.5 out 5 - I was a little apprehensive about going to another Pho restaurant considering that I had pho the day prior (04/10/19). However, my wife and in-laws wanted to go. Well, it has been a long while since I've been here since its Grand Opening. It was okay then. Probably worthy of 3-Stars then. However, this place has actually improved in its interior looks and the quality of food. Pho Corner has a great variety of Vietnamese dishes to choose from. Best part of it all, the food was tastier! As a group, you can see from the pictures, A LOT of food was ordered. The place isn't too big of a space but has utilized the space to situate plenty of tables and chairs without feeling confined. It's also clean and simple decoratively. I would definitely recommend trying it once and decide for yourself. I'll definitely go back and try Pho Corner when in the area. Enjoy! read more
