This has been a go-to spot for my boyfriend's family, who first introduced me to it, and we've been coming back together consistently for the past two years. In my opinion, this is the best-tasting pho in Portland. The broth is incredibly rich and full of depth, with a flavor that keeps you coming back for more (and honestly wishing the portions were even bigger, despite being satisfying). Every visit has been consistent, and this time was no exception. The service is always quick and efficient, which makes it an easy and reliable choice. The pricing is normal, for the quality and portion size, and they're generous with the meat, which is nice, because recently places have been stingy. This is a spot that is comforting, flavorful and convenient we keep returning to for years to come! Thank you Pho Hung!

It's difficult for me to declare any one Vietnamese restaurant is my favorite because there are so many great places in Portland, however, Pho Hung is definitely at the top of my list. This place has been my go-to with out-of-town guests and family celebrations for years... so hopefully that gives you an idea of how consistently wonderful Pho Hung has been in my life. The Powell Blvd location was recently renovated, so the dining room is warm and inviting. There are a fair number of seats to choose from, so lunch hour usually doesn't require any kind of wait for a seat. The staff are quick and courteous, and food is always delivered to the table in just a few minutes. I'm always impressed with their service. Powell Blvd is a really busy street, so please be careful when entering and exiting the parking lot. Visibility is limited when exiting west from the parking lot.

Visiting from LA. Our friend loves it here. She's a regular. I'm not a Pho fan. I've only had it 3 times and it was always a bad experience for me. Being that my friend was so excited I didn't want to tell her I wasn't a fan. This Pho restaurant is huge. Lots of tables. It was packed, which showed me how popular they were. That was a good sign. Service was great. Very attentive and fast service. Got our order in as soon as we sat. Didn't take long for our food to come out. I ordered the #11 large. Boy did I feel relieved once I tried their broth here. I was pleasantly surprised how great it tasted. They make their own homemade chili sauce. Their chili sauce is outstanding. I added that to my Pho and I was a happy camper. I finished my entire bowl. The meat and noodles quality were great. 10/10 overall dish. This place has definitely changed my perspective for Pho.

I don't usually eat pho at restaurants because I'm so used to my mom's pho, but the pho I had here was surprisingly good! The broth was flavorful and I didn't really need to add hoisin. We came right before closing and they were able to accommodate us. Because we ordered pho, our food came out fairly quickly. We finished the whole bowl; we were the last to dine in, but left before everyone else lol. We would definitely come back here next time we're in Oregon!

This is some GREAT pho. Family run, authentic. It's a little pricey, but it's a big bowl. The complimentary tea is a nice touch.

This is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Portland. The place is spacious and clean, the service is super speedy and the food "Oh my God" is super delicious and authentic.!!! We always order the pho with all the fixings.

My favorite pho spot in Portland. Both their beef pho and chicken pho are so good and comforting - perfect for the Portland weather. Food comes out really quick and their menu has a lot of options for everyone. Their vermicelli is really good too.

It has been awhile since I've been back here. Not much has change, as the food still comes out piping hot and fairly quick. Its a place to get some good quality pho. I like that you can be in and out of here in less than 30 minutes if you wanted to.

Once I opened the doors, we were helped to a table and provided waters and menus immediately. The table already comes with all the condiments you need to hoisin sauce, sriracha, pepper, fish sauce, as well as utensils such as the spoon and chopsticks. Also, this place makes their own chili oil... and it is out of this world. It is very flavorful and not too spicy, I put it on everything. I even dipped my bean sprouts in it when I was waiting for my pho. Anyways , I ordered #17 which is pho with rare stake and got the #24 which is their salad roll, it comes with shrimp and pork but I just got shrimp only. Peanut sauce was perfect, and I love how they put chopped peanuts on top. The pho broth was super hot, plenty of greens, and meat as well. It was very flavorful, no need to add any additional condiments in there. I also ordered the avocado smoothie (not pictured) and it was so creamy and perfect amount of sweetness. Service was great and food was delicious!

Really delicious pho broth with fresh tender brisket and veggie ingredients. They've got lots of parking, lots of seating inside, nice and clean space, has beef stew + French bread on the menu (my sis is going to love this place), their service is really good and attentive, and they serve complimentary hot tea! What more can you ask for? New favorite pho spot in Portland.

Vietnamese American classics prepared with care. Delicious Pho and barbecued pork and shrimp served with rice or rice noodles. Service was fast, friendly and efficient!

This spot is authentic as it gets!! The broth wasn't excessively oily or salty. The extra side of tendon I ordered was a great value and sooo tender!!! Portland has many gems, but this one takes the cake. Or should I say pho. worth a stop, for sure. Locals and travelers alike.

Sorry but this is hands down best PHO in town!! Hot days or cold days this is just always a great idea and just soothes your soul!!! Clean amazing broth with fresh good food but the quick effective helpful service is the topper!! Highly recommend!!! FYI don't sleep on the fried shrimp paste roll in tofu skin!!

There is plenty of seating there and It looked like there was a space for live music and string lights - probably a fun spot to grab dinner in the evening. We came for lunch and ordered the chao mian with chicken (spicy) and bian bian noodles (spicy). The noodles are cooked to order and we were served quickly. The serving sizes are huge. Neither one of us could finish ours. We'll likely order one dish to split next time, and that'd still probably be more than enough. The flavor of the chao mian was a bit lackluster. It was savory with a soy sauce flavor base, but got a bit repetitive with each bite. It was decently spicy and texture was there with the veggies, but I wish there was a way to customize with more spice or vinegar to taste. The bian bian noodles were more flavorful and also spicier. Fun noodle texture. There are also other vendors in the garden so you can pair a dessert, drink, or side with your meal while staying in the same area. Overall, a filling meal for a good price! Would come again to try their beef noodle soup.

The place was full of hungry locals and tourists but was uncustomarily quiet and calm. From the hostess that seated us, to the waitress and servers, all staff and management were extremely polite, positive and helpful. We were starving. So we ordered 3 entrees and side of Dry-fried String beans. The Green Beans were cooked perfectly and the serving size was generous! One of our new favorites is the Mongolian Chicken. Is not a spicy Chinese food dish but the moist chicken and seasonings produced a yummy & comfort food level dish! As usual, the lightly battered & deveined Butterfly prepared Salt & Pepper Shrimp was mouthwatering, with every bite. As the last entree to be served. The ten Chicken & Vegetable Dumplings were fresh and flavorful. Needless to say, with only 2 patrons eating lunch with 3 heaping entrees plus Dry-fried String beans and white rice - we took home 2 more meals worth of Chinese food leftovers. Definitely dine in at this Old Town location or order To Go!

The service was kind of weird/awkward about IDing us for drinks. I assured her I was happy to grab my ID and she was kind of rude, alluding to the fact I look old and she doesn't need it haha. As our food started to come, our friend noticed a long black hair in the chicken dumplings. We notified our server and she investigated the dish on our table. This rubbed us all the wrong way because you should believe your customer and take the plate from the table and maybe exam it in the back/kitchen? We didn't like the hair deter us and everything was truly delicious. We had pork soup buns (good, but not very soup-y), pork wontons in chili oil (yum!), chicken potstickers (probably my favorite), spicy chow mein (delicious), the dry fried green beans (so good)! We were stuffed. I ended up telling the server that we wouldn't need the new chicken dumplings and she was very rude and taken back by that. I feel bad to inconvenience them, but none of it would've happened if there wasn't a hair in the food? There were other small, rude things our server did but ultimately, it didn't ruin our night or take away from the delicious food! I would recommend the restaurant with the warning that the service is lackluster.

We devoured everything and left no crumbs but the dishes I would likely gravitate back towards are the hand pulled noodles, wings, and actually the Mandoo! The hand pulled noodles were coated nicely with a spicy sauce and had a great chew to them. I loved the thickness of the noodles and added crunch from the cabbage and other veggies. Half sweet and half spicy for the wings was the way to go - each wing was doused in sauce and sesame seeds but still maintained its crunch. As someone that doesn't usually like wings, these were fantastic. Lastly, the Mandoo surprised me! It was the sauce that sealed the deal. It was like a thousand island, poppy seed kind of dressing that worked very well. I couldn't stop eating them. If you're looking for authentic Korean food, this is the place!
