Ginger chicken
Renee A.

We were expecting much more from this little place. It had good ratings. The waitress was nice and somewhat friendly. They seem to do a fair takeout business. My son ordered the chicken satay app with a side of rice. The rice came wrapped in plastic and was DEFINITELY old. He wouldn't let is return it. He ate my rice anyway. My DH had a supposed to be spicy dish that was not. They should have asked how spicy but didn't. My ginger chicken was good. I don't think we will go back

Thai spice is one of my favorite restaurants to order take out from (good portions, super flavorful, noodles not mushy after transit). My partner and I went in person for the first time recently, and while we thought the exterior + dining room were unassuming/basic, the food continues to be phenomenal! We ordered the tom yum soup, som tum, pla sam rod with salmon and the duck choo chee. The tom yum soup was one of the best I've had - tangy, spicy and not overly sweet. The som tum unfortunately was sweeter and had less fish sauce and garlic than I would've liked, but the veggies and papaya were super fresh. The salmon pla sam rod and duck choo chee were both fantastic! The pla sam rod sauce was a great balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. The salmon and basil were fried perfectly and held up well to the sauce. The duck was also fried perfectly and stayed crispy despite the red curry + coconut milk that coated it. The veggies were also very fresh and kept the dish light. We loved the flavors and textures of the duck choo chee - the red curry was very aromatic and lemongrassy, and the coconut milk added some creaminess. So far, I have only been impressed by the quality of the food and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!!

I have been going to this restaurant for many years. The quality of the food hasn't changed at all. Excellent service with delicious food. Their portions are very generous. I love their hot chilli oil, which adds more taste and flavor to their already delicious food. I did not post the picture of my favorite dessert there. I guess we were too busy eating the delicious dessert. Don't miss on their coconut sticky rice with fresh mangoes. It's worth indulging!! They might not be fancy, but they definitely have the most authentic Thai food in the area!!

Gee! I was convinced I already reviewed Thai Spice after the first time we went, which is already a few years ago. Good thing Yelp reminded me, so here I go. Thai Spice is a whole in the wall, and not the one to avoid, but the one to visit. Thai Spice has an amazing menu to pick from. So far every dish we ordered has been delicious and the portions are generous. The service is friendly with an '!' This is the type of restaurant I must say deserves a better location and facility, so it matches up to the quality of food & service. I recommend you get out there and try Thai Spice for yourself, you will not regret it. Try the coconut rice... Compliments to the chef!

Enjoyed the service and food. I am excited to try it again. I didn't get a lot of spice in my dish, but I am excited to try a curry next time or a different appetizer.

Strange liquid from duck salad... filled 2 sauce cups

Positive: The customer service is great! That has never really been a problem. They've even recently hired a server whose enthusiasm will have you so excited to eat here. He truly believes in the food! Unfortunately for me the food didn't deliver. I ate here years ago and I wasn't a fan. I was hearing so much negatively yet reading so many positive reviews, so I decided to give it another chance. Started out with their Summer Roll (sometimes called a fresh roll) my staple starter at "Thai" establishments. Well it was chewy, kinda rubbery and somewhat bland.... Then went for the Thai Calamari. It was okay. It either needed more seasoning on the calamari or more sauce to dip it in. The dipping sauce cup was barely halfway filled. Also had the crispy tofu which was??? I still don't know if I liked it. And lastly my favorite dish to order at a Thai place is always a duck salad, if it's offered. Glad to see it was on the menu. This had the heat that I look for but lacked the depth of flavor. My salad was also swimming in a bunch of liquid. I'm not sure what it was, but it wasn't dressing. It caused the salad to go from somewhere crispy to limp and soggy. This was such a disappointment. If this is what they offer, I'm not really sure where all the positive reviews come from. Maybe it's in the Pad Thai which I see a bunch of pictures/reviews of? But with a menu full of various items, I'm a little more adventurous than the basic American comfort Pad Thai. This place has the fresh ingredients, and obviously talented cooks, but I need them to step up their game on quality control.... The Pad Thai (which I've never tried) here May be good, but I need everything else to be just as good as people claim that 1 dish is...

5stars We run into this place while driving back from Boston This is a hole in a wall, authentic Thai restaurant. Ordered drunken noodles that was so delicious!

Chicken pad Thai
Erin R.

I ordered the chicken pad Thai for carry out early on a week night. Service was extremely quick and food was hot when I picked it up and stayed hot until I got home. I asked for the pad Thai to be spicy and they were not afraid to bring on the heat! Watch out if you can't handle spice I wouldn't recommend asking for any heat. But man was it exactly what I was looking for. Only bad thing was - where is the chicken?!?! There were only a few small pieces and I am a big protein lady, especially when it costs extra for meat.

Boat noodle soup....

I got take out once and ate here once. The resturant is located in a tiny plaza with only a couple of parking spots and the resturant itself is pretty small with maybe seating for no more than 50 people? I got drunken noodles delivered and appreciated then giving me chili oil and hot sauce on the side with my order, but was a bit disappointed with the noodles being a little too mushy. They were also on the oiler side. When I went to see if it was just the travel time that made the noodles mushy I found that it was just how they're made by this restaurant. Despite the noodles being mushy the taste was good and the portion made it a pretty good deal for the price. I also ordered the boat noodle soup and was sadly disappointed with it. The broth tasted very oily like old oil and I left the resturant very dehydrated due to their use of MSG in it. I might give this place a other try next time and get a curry or another dish. I will definately stay away from anything that has broth. I also found it kind of neat that they have a selfie machine in the corner but it's a bit awkward to start taking selfies in front of the cashier...

You could tell moms were being celebrated everywhere, families were out enjoying themselves, and despite the crowd, the atmosphere still felt fun and lively instead of stressful. They offer an all-you-can-eat menu with a huge variety of sushi, seafood options, and buffet station, which definitely felt worth the price considering how much food is available. Without a reservation, the wait looked pretty long, so I'd definitely recommend calling ahead on holidays or weekends. Even with how crowded it was, the service stayed good throughout the night. The ordering system uses tablets at the table, and because of how busy it was, a few of my orders didn't go through the first time. I mentioned it to our server and he immediately addressed the issue, made sure I reordered everything, and continued checking in to make sure our food was arriving correctly. I also appreciated how accommodating the staff was. I asked for a chicken sushi roll and they made one for me I did have to reorder the seafood boil before receiving it, but the servers stayed attentive, communicated with us, and handled concerns professionally the entire time. What stood out most was that despite the chaos, everyone still seemed to be enjoying themselves. The staff was clearly working hard, but they stayed friendly and attentive throughout the Mother's Day rush. Overall, the food was good, the vibe stayed positive, and it still ended up being an enjoyable holiday dinner with friends and family. Definitely a spot I'd come back to; just with a reservation next time

Evelyn my server was sooo cool and so funny I don't think I've ever liked a waitress more in my life, like I liked her. I wanna see her too next time I go. One thing I will say that was disappointing was their green tea cocktail. I mean I had six of those things and NOTHING. So I'm sure you can pick up what I'm putting down there .. and they were 9 bucks each. Total waste of calories and money. Other than that, fire place, no doubt that they'll see my face there again. I loved it. Thanks Sushi Kingdom !

I came on a Wednesday for the $17.99 lobster roll special and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. It is a quarter pound of lobster and you get actual lumps of claw and meat rather than the shredded stuff some other places serve. The butter it's sautéed in is seasoned delicately to accentuate the fresh lobster instead of covering up the taste. The portion was surprisingly large and it comes on a fresh bun that is lightly buttered and toasted. It even comes with a little cup of extra butter which I totally slathered on because I love butter! Every bite was so fresh and soft. The roll comes with fries and I did the optional $5 upcharge for the lobster bisque. That was also the best I've ever had because I've never seen bisque with such large chunks of lobster in it. It was just crazy good. Everything was well worth the price and I'd honestly come back even on days when it's not a special. They have something going on every night like the $9.99 burger and fries on Mondays, so that will definitely be my next reason to visit. I will be back for sure!

It's situated right across from the beach and they have their own parking lot which is always a plus. It's got a pirate theme going on and there's pirate-related decor all over the place. Definitely feels like a hole in the wall. I went around 5PM and the place was pretty busy. Plenty of patrons eating outside and a bunch more waiting to take their orders to-go. Actually, technically every order is a to-go order. You go up to the counter and order what you want and they give you a buzzer that lets you know when your food is ready. Whether you choose to sit at the tables outside is up to you. But everything comes packaged in takeout containers. Service was quick and friendly. CASH ONLY. They do have an ATM though. I ordered a lobster roll, soft shell crab sandwich, clam chowder, and lobster bisque. Everything was pretty good but the sandwiches were a bit pricey. On the menu they're listed as market price and apparently lobster rolls were $22 and soft shell crab sandwiches were $17 that day. We had the soups first since they were ready immediately. The lobster bisque was ok, but a bit too creamy for my taste. I found myself tiring of the taste after several spoonfuls. I much preferred the clam chowder. It had a great consistency and it was served at a perfect temperature. The flavor was on point as well. I really enjoyed the clam chowder. The lobster roll was good, but not great. To be fair, I'm not a huge fan of lobster so take my opinion with a grain of salt. The lobster was fresh, but I found it to be a little bland. I got the sauteed roll, maybe I should've tried the fried. I really liked the soft shell crab sandwich. It literally looked like they took a whole crab and deep fried it then put it in a bun. It worked though. I especially liked it with the tartar sauce. If you're a fan of seafood, you'll like this place.
