The food is incredible every time. The drinks are perfect. Staff is helpful and make great recommendations! Cozy space and plenty of seats at the bar. Never a bad meal here. The happy hour specials are fantastic

Ola Nuevo Latino Cuisine: Where Latin Spirit and Culinary Perfection Collide ¡Hola! Prepare yourself for a culinary fiesta like no other at Ola Nuevo Latino Cuisine. This vibrant eatery is a true celebration of Latin heritage and the fiery Latin spirit. From the moment you step inside, you'll be transported to a Miami-style dining room with a full wrap-around bar - our personal favorite spot to soak up the Latin vibe. Now, let me give you a little tip: Ola Nuevo is a hidden gem, so keep your eyes peeled or you might just drive right past it. But fear not, the best parking is conveniently located in the back. What sets this place apart is their genuine hospitality. They make you feel like they truly want you there, which is a rare gem in today's service atmosphere. Having visited here several times, I can attest that every experience is a delight. We recently popped in for a tapas extravaganza, and boy, were we treated like royalty. The service was top-notch, with our bartender Julia stealing the show. The drinks were nothing short of wonderful, but what really caught our attention were the beautifully plated dishes with true Miami flare. We kicked things off with classic margaritas, presented with a smile and a flaming garnish - talk about making an entrance! Then came the guacamole appetizer, prepared tableside and served with plantain chips and yellow/red tortilla chips. It was fresh, bountiful, and left us craving more. Next up, we indulged in the Quesadilla De Pollo - grilled chicken, guacamole, cheddar cheese, and cilantro crowned with crème fresh. It was a tantalizing treat that had us savoring each and every bite. To end our Latin feast, we couldn't resist the allure of the Coconut Tres Leches with Caramelized Bananas. While it was undeniably delicious, I must admit it was a tad too sweet for my liking. But hey, that's just my personal preference. So, if you're yearning for a lively atmosphere and an authentic Miami restaurant experience, Ola Nuevo Latino Cuisine is an absolute must-try. With stunning contemporary design elements and a menu bursting with fresh and tasty Latino cuisine, this place is sure to ignite your taste buds and leave you craving more. And now, a Latino saying to leave you with: "El que mucho abarca, poco aprieta." Translation: "He who grasps at much, holds little." In other words, sometimes it's better to focus on quality rather than quantity.

Only my second time at Ola and I was pleasantly surprised. Our server was engaging and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual. We ordered the Bronzino and Empanadas de pollo en molé as our main entrees. They were delicious! To finish our meal we shared a delightfully delicious flan with Figs. Yummy!!!

Great atmosphere, decor, and friendly personable staff...food is authentic, creative and delicious...happy hour is our favorite time to go.

My bestie and I had a date night here. We ordered a few apps and shared. We decided on CEVICHE DE CAMARON, EMPANADAS DE CARNE, and QUESADILLA DE CERDO. Everything was perfect! The pork quesadillas were the best I've ever tasted. So full of flavor! The service was great and I love the dim lighting in the restaurant. Will definitely be back!

We came for the tapas and did not leave dissatisfied!! Soup to nuts this hidden gem has it all! Authentic taste blended in with all the vacation feels! I forgot I was still in CT! From the moment we started with a white white Sangria and Pina mojito we were far far away. The salmon tar tar, chorizo, and pork Arepas blew our minds. Ask for the off menu street corn dip and plantain chips and you'll never want to leave. We will be back for sure and if anyone ever asks just say 'Ola'!

Saw the amazing reviews for this place and had to try for it myself! The food, service and environment definitely matched up to the reviews. I ordered the pulled pork arepas today start and OMG explosion of flavor, sooo good. Then I ordered the barbacoa ribs for my main entree and also full of flavor and very tender meat! Drinks were just right and tasty! Cheesecake was meh, I had better but it's ok. The service was top notch! Such nice welcoming people working here. Would definitely recommend!

Paella for 2 People

So far, so good. I visited this restaurant for the fourth time. I have had the empanadas, nachos, maduros and the paella. I always get the mango mojito! Delicious. This past Saturday, my wife and I shared the paella for 2, the nachos and maduros. This combination never disappoints. The hostess was extremely nice and the servers walk around and make sure that you glass stays full. Great service. The only thing is at the entrance before going down the stairs, it is extremely hot. I recommend an AC or anything to keep the temperature lower.

Coconut Tres Leches

Ola is such a gem of a restaurant. The ambiance is lovely with a tropical feel and the live music is a nice touch. The food was sooood good and the restaurant is surprisingly vegan friendly. There are items available that are not on the menu, so be sure to ask. I ordered the vegetable paella with quinoa and it was fantastic! Visually, it was a work of art - so beautiful, packed with so many flavors, had a nice amount of protein and the vegetables chosen were so complimentary. And the portion size was perfect. As vegetarian/vegans we actually need more food, but restaurants consistently give you less food as if we don't eat - it's always so weird. Not here at Ola - thank you for understanding our nutritional requirements! For dessert, I ordered the coconut tres leches cake. They were even able to accommodate my friend who is gluten free with a dessert option - plantains with caramel sauce. I have had plantains my whole life done in all sorts of ways, but never had it with caramel, it was so tasty! We had a great experience and our server was amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Mojito

Had the best girls night at Ola restaurant!! Each of us tried a different flavor mojito and we loved them all!! The food was so fresh and flavorful, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Staff was very friendly and eager to offer menu recommendations. Cannot wait to go back and try their happy hour!

We always enjoy Ola. Any tapas place can get pricy but their small dishes are so decadent and worth it! Consistently good food!

Still great in 2025!…read more Had the jamming burger specials with the yummy jammified onions and they satisfied the burger craving without fault. The pretzel bites were also salty and bready nuggets of deliciousness. Service was great and friendly! It doesn't have a particularly great look outside or inside (mostly a bar with some tall tables and several large screen tvs) but they are consistently good with their flavorful offerings, which is what matters most.

We ordered wings and the special tacos of the day which were eye of the round tomatillo tacos with pico. We get the buffalo sauce and cajun dry rub on our wings which were 5 stars. The tacos not so much. For $15 the three tacos were tiny, 3 pieces of eye of the round on two tacos, 4 on third. The pico was tomatoes with a tiny piece of jalapeno and onion in water, weird. The tomatillo sauce was ok, but not the best. We LOVE this place but these tacos missed the mark. Service was good. At the end, Lauren took over. She was friendly and introduced herself to us and others at the bar. She mostly cashed us out, but we liked her friendliness. Go with confidence, it's a great local bar/restaurant with good, friendly service.

We ordered a small one with guacamole and a larger one that included tostones, yuca, and arepa. Everything was delicious, especially the chicken, steak, and chorizo meats. I'd definitely suggest this place for good food. The only downside was that the game kept stopping due to a internet poor connection, but that didn't take away from our overall enjoyment. La Fonda was a great spot -- authentic food, warm atmosphere, and always fresh. Unfortunately, this new place doesn't live up to that standard at all. To start, there were no English menus available, which made ordering confusing. During my visit, I actually killed three flies inside the restaurant -- and there were several more buzzing around. That alone was a bad sign. The food didn't redeem the experience either. The calamari was over-fried and far from fresh. The dish with ground beef was literally ground into a dust-like texture -- completely unappetizing. The beans were cold, and the empanadas were hard, stale, and clearly re-fried; they even had an unpleasant taste. The mango juice, which I hoped would save the meal, was also a miss. Overall, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. I won't be coming back. Whatever happened between La Fonda Colombiana and Sabores Orange is truly disappointing -- the old restaurant was far better in every way.
