Super nice service. Our waitress had the best smile and up beat attitude. We came in on a rainy night and didn't know what to expect. We had wings for an appetizer that tasted a. It old like yesterday's wings reheated and weren't spicy at all. My son had the very expensive filet that was subpar while 7 oz isn't big at all in lacked seasoning and was a bit tough to cut. My aloha tuna bowl was very flavorful and packed with good quality Tuna. The restaurant was decorated cute and very clean and had ambient lighting. They had a big lot got parking but it was pretty crowded They raked credit card

Stonebridge never disappoints. I'm constantly trying new items on the menu and am always impressed! Fresh ingredients, bold flavors- Another fabulous meal in the books!

Food quality / price (value) rating 10. The atmosphere is seaside resort. The menu is varied with several contemporary and unusual spins on standard offerings. This restaurant, now being operated by the third generation of dedicated restauranteurs, has continued serving high quality fare at reasonable prices. I had the Blackened Swordfish with Gorgonzola and woodland mushrooms, roasted red peppers, spinach, and whipped potatoes. The swordfish portion was generous, prepared properly, and everything was served hot! The wife had the Swordfish Puttonesca Risotto which had a wonderfully balanced tomato, basil, black olives, garlic and capers sauce. Chef Chris did not let us down, and his wife Sarah brought the kind of service we all respect and love while eating out. The third generation owner, and third generation Tom, was kind enough to spend time telling us the story of his family's restarantuer history. We finished our experience with a wonderful dessert of Lemoncello cake with vanilla ice cream and a Keoke coffee. Huge dessert plenty big enough for two! They offer varied live entertainment a couple nights a week. Everything was great here, and I can't wait to come back!

Regarded as a cornerstone of Milford's charming downtown, Stonebridge Restaurant features casual American fare with bites to appeal to every palate. The bartender aggressively shook my martini and delivered it into the frostiest glass. The bamboo spear was adorned with round, plump olives with perfect texture and taste. The glassware was average, with a thick stem, and held a substantial pour. The eatery featured five unique dining spaces. The open and relaxed bar space featured industrial accents and ample seating. Menu highlights include fresh seafood, including oysters, clams, and shrimp. It also featured steaks, sandwiches, salads, and more. All I know is that the sight and aroma of every dish out of the kitchen made me mouthwatering. I intend to return to try many, many more. To close out my experience, the bartender was inviting, warm, and friendly. I enjoyed chatting while soaking in all this establishment had to offer. Read more on IG: themartinibible

Food is consistently prepared and delicious. We have never been disappointed. Scallops are sweet and super fresh. You can request fried even though it's not on the menu. The power salad with blacked salmon is one of my favorites. My husband got The ahi tuna with coconut rice . Presentation was beautiful and delicious! I will definitely get that next time! Warm vanilla cake with vanilla ice cream white chocolate swirls whipped cream raspberry drizzle was a special and wonderful!

    Hair on desert

Where do I start with this place. For one, I understand when things are booked up or busy nights are understaffed....but man. We waited about 2 hours for food, we were reassured about and hour and a half in that we would receive our food within minutes and had to go to the front desk to get it served to us. It came out lukewarm at best. But the food quality I guess was ok otherwise. They offered us free desert for the trouble, and there was hair baked in to it so we threw it away. They also did not include any of the toppings that were listed on the menu for dessert. Probably never returning!

Stopped in for appetizers with the girls and once again had a great time. The outdoor patio is bright and airy. I am obsessed with the scallops over thick cut bacon

We had such a lovely time at the stone bridge restaurant . They have upgraded their outdoor seating and have paneled glass floor to ceiling walls giving a much more upscale vibe . The unobstructed views of the water fountain were relaxing and calming. The food was spectacular , fresh and plentiful. My salmon was perfectly cooked and not over seasoned . The clam chowder was rich creamy and full of clams .The butter cake was out of this world . We would come back for the dessert alone . Service and staff was curteous , personable and super efficient. We had such a relaxing lunch and can't wait to be back

The kitchen is open to the bar so you can see and hear all the amazing things happening back there which really adds to the local neighborhood vibe. The bartenders there are very sweet and attentive, they help bring the whole experience there to 5 stars. I came on a Wednesday for the $17.99 lobster roll special and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. It is a quarter pound of lobster and you get actual lumps of claw and meat rather than the shredded stuff some other places serve. The butter it's sautéed in is seasoned delicately to accentuate the fresh lobster instead of covering up the taste. The portion was surprisingly large and it comes on a fresh bun that is lightly buttered and toasted. It even comes with a little cup of extra butter which I totally slathered on because I love butter! Every bite was so fresh and soft. The roll comes with fries and I did the optional $5 upcharge for the lobster bisque. That was also the best I've ever had because I've never seen bisque with such large chunks of lobster in it. It was just crazy good. Everything was well worth the price and I'd honestly come back even on days when it's not a special. They have something going on every night like the $9.99 burger and fries on Mondays, so that will definitely be my next reason to visit. I will be back for sure!

Milford's restaurant week was happening, and Costa Peru was on my list, so I decided to go there. My family ordered seafood, while I went with the Peruvian Chicken Wings topped with Peruvian Barbecue sauce, Ceviche Chicken Wings, and Lomo Salado. I was particularly curious about the Ceviche wings because I'd never heard of them before. The ceviche sauce is inspired by Aji Limo Ceviche, a lively Peruvian dish featuring fresh, raw white fish like sea bass or flounder "cooked" in lime juice, seasoned with citrusy, spicy Aji Limo peppers, red onions, and cilantro. It's usually served with sweet potato, corn, and leche de tigre (tiger's milk), offering a tart, spicy, and refreshing flavor. The Ceviche wings were fantastic. They had a bright citrus kick, and I could taste all the distinct flavors, including the spices and chilies. They really hit the spot. The barbecue wings were just as enjoyable, with a sweet yet tangy sauce and perfectly seasoned chicken. The Lomo Salado was also a hit; the rice was fluffy and full of flavor, and the tender Lomo meat practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, I ordered the flan. It was my first time trying it, and I was curious about the taste. Honestly, I didn't care much for the texture, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. My son picked the Passion Fruit Cheesecake, which was pretty good. It's not something I'd order again, but I'm glad I tried it. The service was excellent, and I'm definitely looking forward to returning and trying more dishes from the menu.

In fact,…read morewhen I bought my home just two blocks away, knowing I could walk to The Lazy Lobster was honestly a small factor in my decision. Their lobster bisque and lobster rolls were a true treat, worth traveling for. I still remember my son walking in wearing a Staples lacrosse shirt, and one of the owners immediately saying, "Staples in the house!" We found out he was an alumnus. The owners were genuinely passionate about great food, and it showed. The following year, after I bought my house, I noticed the restaurant had been completely renovated. I asked if it was under new ownership. They said yes, but assured me the chef was the same. One spoonful of the bisque confirmed it, the recipe hadn't changed. Fast forward to this season. I couldn't wait for them to reopen. The delay made sense since they had expanded into the former paddleboard shop and undergone another major renovation. So I eagerly ordered my favorite lobster bisque... to go. A bowl was $18 because it was listed as "market price." Since when is lobster bisque market price? I figured maybe it was loaded with chunks of lobster. It wasn't. That alone wouldn't have bothered me if the soup had still been the incredible bisque I remembered. Instead, the recipe was completely different. It seems the renovation also meant losing the original chef, and unfortunately, that chef was the real reason many of us kept coming back. I'm genuinely disappointed. The original Lazy Lobster felt like a place built around serving exceptional food. This new version feels more like an operation focused on recouping a renovation investment through higher prices. It's a sad change for what was once one of the true gems of this charming neighborhood.

It was founded by restaurateurs Daniel Kay, Marc Knight, and Robert Bolduc. Knight and Bolduc had previously had success when they opened the popular southwestern restaurant Geronimo Tequila Bar & Southwest Grill in the Elm City in November 2007. Kay had spent nearly 15 years serving as the president of Connecticut Fluid Power. In 2015, the three business partners came together to open a new venture at New Haven's historic City Point. The location (on the ground level below the Pequonnock Yacht Club) had been home to several restaurants for decades (most recently to Sage American Grill & Oyster Bar). After a complete remodel, they opened Shell & Bones. The trio brought in the award-winning executive chef Arturo Franco Camacho to serve as the culinary director. My wife and I recently had a lunch date at Shell & Bones. The restaurant had been on our bucket list for some time. We loved the nautical theme of the decor as well as the amazing views of New Haven Harbor. We were seated in the indoor patio; it was a little too cold and rainy during our visit for al fresco dining. For drinks, I ordered "The Breakfast Bloody Mary" (Ostreida oyster vodka, Tres Agaves Bloody Mary mix, chorizo, cocktail shrimp, bacon, cornichon, olives) while my wife had the "Lavender Limoncello Spritzer". The cocktails were just as visually pleasing as they were delicious. From the raw bar, we shared four "Lucky Lady" oysters, which were super light and smooth. For our entrées, I had the "Crab Cake B.L.T." (sweet & spicy bacon, romaine, tomato, chipotle mayo, brioche roll) and my wife had the "Shell & Bones Lobster Roll" (served hot w/ house-made Lobster Butter). For our sides, we both ordered "Hand Cut Truffle Parmesan Fries". My sandwich was bursting with flavor, my wife's lobster roll was one of the best we ever had, and the fries were just the icing on the cake. We looked over the dessert menu (which looked great), but we were way too full. We had a fantastic experience at Shell & Bones and look forward to returning!
