All the way up until warming up the left overs. No regrets. Not one. For the kids, the steak medallions were such a good deal. Generous portion, cooked perfectly, and paired with really good fries (because yes, fry quality matters). Clean plate club status achieved. Now let's talk dressing. I am a dressing snob, and the green goddess? It was great. Fresh, herbaceous, creamy without being heavy. I would absolutely buy that by the bottle. Dessert sealed the deal. The brownie was that warm, ooey-gooey, stick-to-your-fork kind of brownie. Topped with yummy ice cream melting into all the chocolate goodness. Exactly what you want when you order a brownie. no dry edges, no disappointment. The decor is beautiful:warm, inviting, upscale but still comfortable. Service was great with genuine smiles. They checked in consistently without hovering, and shoutout to Ezekiel in the parking lot for such a kind welcome right from the start. First impressions matter, and they nailed it. The only reason I'm giving this a three is because the service is great! I wanted to try this place in the opportunity came up when I went to go see Derek and the fun bags last Saturday night. Well, the lobster roll came with fries and coleslaw and I have to say the last roll was very bland and yes, there was a good amount on there. The role fell apart and I purposely didn't have them butter it because I knew that would happen but yet it still happens and I would never go back there for that lobster roll anyway as far as the fries they were tasteless. The only good thing was the coleslaw so for almost $100 for dinner including the tip it's a no for me. Also, the spritzer was $17. It didn't even have any booze in. This restaurant, now being operated by the third generation of dedicated restauranteurs, has continued serving high quality fare at reasonable prices. I had the Blackened Swordfish with Gorgonzola and woodland mushrooms, roasted red peppers, spinach, and whipped potatoes. The swordfish portion was generous, prepared properly, and everything was served hot! The wife had the Swordfish Puttonesca Risotto which had a wonderfully balanced tomato, basil, black olives, garlic and capers sauce. Chef Chris did not let us down, and his wife Sarah brought the kind of service we all respect and love while eating out. The third generation owner, and third generation Tom, was kind enough to spend time telling us the story of his family's restarantuer history. I have been to Stonebridge multiple times and the food is always excellent. I also had two of my high school reunions there and the staff took excellent care of us. The glassware was average, with a thick stem, and held a substantial pour. The eatery featured five unique dining spaces. The open and relaxed bar space featured industrial accents and ample seating. Menu highlights include fresh seafood, including oysters, clams, and shrimp. It also featured steaks, sandwiches, salads, and more. All I know is that the sight and aroma of every dish out of the kitchen made me mouthwatering. I intend to return to try many, many more. Where do I start with this place. For one, I understand when things are booked up or busy nights are understaffed....but man. We waited about 2 hours for food, we were reassured about and hour and a half in that we would receive our food within minutes and had to go to the front desk to get it served to us. It came out lukewarm at best. But the food quality I guess was ok otherwise. They offered us free desert for the trouble, and there was hair baked in to it so we threw it away. While we didn't have a reservation, the server was able to sneak us in to sit in the bar area for lunch. The bartender serving us was awesome. A decent option in downtown Milford that has an extensive wine menu, and options for both indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations are recommended, and with multiple bars, the restaurant can (and will) get noisy. Their swordfish was good, and their Mediterranean calamari appetizer comes drizzled in balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The only downside was that on-site parking was tight, and the inside of the dining room was warm. But overall our service was good. read more

Ordered the Pork and Scallop dish and holy crap!!! Are they amazing!! I never thought these could ever be that good but they're perfect!! Sweet and tender scallops paired with Smokey and fatty pork belly seasoned just perfectly!! After spending way too much money on expensive food & drinks with a few friends at the outside back bar on the patio, we were told that we had to give up our seats so they could be removed for safety reasons by a security guy that looked more like like swat. The security guy walked away and came back with 3 more members of his swat team to remove 4 senior citizens from their seats at dinner At only 9pm. Needless to say we will never go there again. Went on a very busy summer Friday night. Hoppin live music in the outdoor areas with a mixed crowd young and older. Service was not super fast but decent. The scenery is gorgeous with the stream by the patio. The drinks were very sweet. The food was excellent! What a pleasant way to kick off the summer this Memorial weekend with discovering this gem of a restaurant. We dined outdoors on the lower patio level overlooking the Wepawaug River with its large fountain sprinkler. This restaurant is big, pretty with onsite free parking. The parking area had an attendant who directed us to a space that was graveled. He asked us if we had trouble walking. We do not. Already I was digging this place. I'm guessing if we had said yes he would have had us park where it was paved although I didn't see an open parking spaces. Made an easy online reservation at Open Table with no special requests. There 5 unique dining areas, several of them outdoors. Although we wanted to eat outdoors and did, I would have been perfectly comfortable dining inside. It was airy, bright with large tall windows where I would have been very satisfied with the water view. I indicated I wanted an outdoor table with the hostess. There is a big terrace to the left of the stairs leading to the patio with umbrellas. Alongside the restaurant is a narrow deck with more tables where we were being led. I asked to sit on the patio when I saw it. The Patio is huge, with four outdoor bars. We had a perfect table with some shade and a great view. I'm a lobster roll person. In the summer I hunt for reviews which consistently give high marks for the restaurants lobster. Convenience and outdoor dining are big pluses for me. We started with cocktails. I had a pineapple tequila spritzer served in a large plastic cup. It was refreshing and at least a 12-14 oz. drink. My husband ordered a Bloody Mary to which our very pleasant server (Ryan) asked if he'd like a "Mary & the boys?" That is a BM with two of the largest cocktail shrimp I've ever seen. They were enormous. The cocktail was served in the same large cup as mine. It was slightly spicy and delicious (I snagged a taste). There were hints of Worcestershire, lemon, horseradish and hot sauce. All the things that make a very good Bloody Mary. You may be wondering at this point, is she ever going to get to the food review? Here goes. We shared 6 Blue Point oysters, very fresh with a great cocktail sauce and a small bottle of tabasco should you want more heat. At $3.50 each which seems to be the going rate they were good. I prefer plumper oysters but don't we all? My dining goal this summer continues to be to satisfy my craving for a great CT lobster roll. On the table, was a regular printed menu listing the lobster roll as MP. Another paper menu with specials had the price at $36. It came with fries and was advertised as knuckle and claw meat. Ryan asked if I wanted a 4 oz. or 8 oz.? Well now isn't that a pleasant dilemma to ponder! I looked at my husband, he looked at me and said, "go for it." My Momma taught me if you have to ask how much it cost then you can't afford it, so I didn't ask. My husband ordered the seafood risotto with sea scallops, gigantic shrimp, lobster, mushrooms in a seafood light broth. Two of the same huge shrimp, 3 big sea scallops and several pieces of lobster meat. I tasted the risotto which was perfectly cooked. I can report the lobster meat was as advertised as well as moist and succulent. The buttered bun held up the entire time I ate the "sandwich." I hate when the bun is so soaked with melted butter that the bun disintegrates as you are eating it. This was not the situation. Add the lovely view, comfortable setting, chairs and a waiter who was pleasant and engaging. We couldn't ask for me. If you're wondering the 8 oz. lobster roll was $50. Considering the 4 oz. was $36 and I got twice as much meat, I thought the price was respectable. We will return. read more

What a great place. If you love seafood, cocktails and a great vibe, then this is your place. We sampled some of the great cocktails (Painkiller, Mango Margarita and more). The food was fresh and delicious and we ordered the oysters, jumbo shrimp, Halibut with mango and coconut rice (amazing!) and the lobster roll. The lobster roll was all lobster, no filler and drizzled with butter. The venue has three separate spaces, the attractive indoor dining room, a spacious deck, and a large outdoor area with two bars and features live music on some evenings. My wife and I were on a 10 day vacation from the entertainment and food capital of the world.... Las Vegas Nevada. Susie, our server for 3 out of 4 of last week's visits was attentive and friendly. The manager Brandon was where he was supposed to be and that is everywhere!!! Having done hospitality management in Las Vegas for decades, I can spot a natural almost instantly. Brandon truly is an asset to your business model. He exudes amazing leadership with the staff and I could tell the mutual respect they have for each other. My wife and I are accustomed to a certain level of service and consistency and Brandon surpassed it!!!!!
