I've always ordered the crunchy stuffed chicken, haven't been here in a while but dined here this week, my favorite was still great,although it seems the chicken is no longer crunchy on the outside. My son always raved over their Mac N' cheese and this is where he wanted us to take him for his 22nd birthday, he wanted their Mac N' cheese, so both my son and my other son's girlfriend ordered the mac & cheese. I still think about the Brussels salad from The Bridge House all the time. It was my go to after work, for casual dinners with friends, date nights, or even just grabbing something to go. The warm Brussels tower paired with a crispy risotto cake, sweet plumped dried cranberries, and the most incredible whipped parmesan dressing! Perfection! What made it even better was how affordable it was. It was one of those rare dishes that you could count on every single time. I have yet to find anything local that comes close, and I genuinely miss it. If anyone ever recreates something like this, I will be first in line. read more

Right over the bridge in Devon this place gets a lot of attraction I thought long and hard before writing this review and the food leaves much to be desired. We got a seat at the bar looking to get some happy hour specials and a few drinks. For apps we settled on the Lemon pepper quesadilla which was our favorite thing we ordered. Also got a fried pasta dish which was odd and didn't go together, was pasta with what appeared to be bread crumbs. For entrees we got a variety of different stuff. The giant meatball, a Jalapeno Egg Chicken burger, a Pastrami Sandwich and some Steak and Frites. The steak and frites was the best out of the bunch, nice presentation. The pastrami was a little too thick cut which made it difficult to eat, my chicken burger was decent nothing special, the fries were a miss, just nothing going on with them. The giant meatball was just a hunk of a meatball, hardly any flavor and my wife didn't enjoy it at all, was very odd, they need to present and elevate it better. I read a review that this place had an ambitious menu and I agree. The menu items have unique twists but I'm not sure it always lands if that makes sense. We ordered a lot of items. My favorite was the happy hour lemon pepper chicken quesadilla. But that's a chef special. We didn't understand the friend penne vodka app. It really was just pasta in a bowl with some crunchy fried pieces. My corned beef sandwich would have been amazing but the corned beef was cut so thick and maybe it was over cooked therefore the meat was really tough to chew. I sampled the steak and fries, that was very yummy. The gigantic meatball had an unattractive presentation. The chicken burger was delicious. The staff was friendly and the bar area was lively. I was very disappointed with the crispy chicken stuffed with spinach. My family have gone to Bridge House numerous times, whether take out or dining in. Never have I been disappointed until now. the chicken was over cooked and the spinach, if you can find the small amount -which was hidden only in the center of the chicken. My first time dining here, and I was pleased with the cozy, and intimate ambiance of the dining room. I ordered my favorite fish and chips, I always enjoy it most everywhere I have had it. Moving to Milford and got stuck here for a week with delayed closing at a hotel..Day 1 had the Brussels tower I with chicken for lunch in house. Delish! I have ordered it from DoorDash now 2 more times. Each time so excellent. It will be my go to dish when the move is complete. This is a mixed review. My husband and I enjoyed a nice lunch at the bar here one Saturday. The food and drinks were delicious and the service from the bartender was fantastic. Five star. So a week later, we brought our son with us. We sat at a booth in the bar area. Our waitress was awful. She forgot to bring items we had ordered. And she didn't come back to ask if we had everything. Instead, she stood at the other end of the bar chatting with other staff. My husband and I would've ordered a second round of drinks if she had returned. Fortunately, we were seated next to where the manager was standing and he took over for his waitress. (She really ought to consider another job.) Moral of the story, only recommend lunch at the bar. read more

We stayed at the dockside marina and enjoyed the beers and brewery vibe, but wanted to go a bit more upscale for food, and the Bridge House is a major cut above pub grub and not that much more money. I ate there twice - once with a buddy at the bar, enjoyed fried chicken and vanilla waffles with pickled slaw. Also started with clams on the half shell which were well shucked, served cold, with a healthy dollop of horseradish. Night two was a short rib tomahawk over polenta, well presented and delicious. Awesome birthday dinner tonight at Bridge House! I love the salt and pepper shrimp--unique, and a great value. I also love the beet salad with fennel, green beens, fresh oranges, and pistachio dust. It's delicious and truly something special. My spouse enjoyed the clams casino and filet mignon with whipped potatoes and green beens. He ate every bite. He also had a second smokey maple old fashioned because the first was so good, while I enjoyed the chocolate peanut butter cake, which was complimentary because I registered for and received email updates. The quality of the food has greatly declined. We used to eat here at least 2-3 times a month but will never order again. Last 2 times our favorite burgers in Milford were raw in the middle and charred on the outside and the bacon was pretty much raw as well. The seafood chowder is usually delicious but it was so salty that it was inedible just like the burgers. Overpriced for the lack of quality product lately. Will not be back. read more

Mother's Day Brunch Buffet 2025. I have a wonderful family with 3 daughters. My 3 daughter planned a beautiful day for their mother and the highlight was supposed to be the Brunch Buffet at the Bridget House in Milford. It was far from it. It was awful. We were in the basement of the restaurant with a lot of other family, which I be very surprised if any of them thought this was a ok buffet. The atmosphere was awful and the food was terrible. The tables were 6' rounds with black table cloths with no flower to brighten up the area/space. Many tables pack in to fill up the space and made it feel cramped. The buffet cost $50 per person which did not includes the cost to have a drink. The salad look like bag salad for the store, the penne vodka was penne with sauce from a jar, it was not vodka sauce. The ham had a funny taste to it, etc, etc... we are a family of 5 and we had 6-pieces of Belgium waffles, a little salad, 2 egg fritters, a few pieces of sausage, etc, and one drink each and the bill was $290.00 not including tips. I dressed my concerns with the manager and he took off 20% which was roughly $230.00 for this. Please see picture below. Needless to say, we will never go back to this restaurant. Food quality / price (value) rating 10. The atmosphere is pub / tavern l. The menu is just off center from typical, with unexpected offerings, specials, Happy Hour, Brunches, and more! They offer a limited, but well chosen, number of draught heers. The food is high quality, prepared properly, and presented beautifully. Our server, Emily, vwas attentive, empathetic to our meeds and wishes, and made sure our experience was an excellent one. We split a Hummus / Guacamole and chips appetizer which was unique and delicious. I had the Prime Rib, that came with grilled baby green beans and mashed, and the wife had the Swordfish with a parmesan / pesto risotto that was fantastic. We finished our evening with a couple Keoke Coffees (perfectly made), and their signature dessert - a fantastic Rum Raisin Bread Pudding. The prices are below market expectations for this area. They have two other restaurants in the vicinity, and we will be eating at one of them tomorrow ("Founders") where Dominic (the general manager) will be applying his magic. What a gem! I can't believe I have never been here! Their is such a big food and drink selection on the menu, but we stuck with the brunch for Father's day. We were extremely disappointed in the meal. We have eaten here before and it was very good. Today we had the twin lobster rolls and they were loaded with garlic and salt. The menu did not state that there was garlic in the dish. The garlic was raw and crushed on top. I still can't get the taste out of my mouth. When we told the waitress she just said they do things differently here. I get that, but tell the customers what is in the dish so they can have the opportunity to say no garlic.
