We had such a great experience here, especially thanks to our server, Cate! We came in with a large group (15+ people), which can be a lot to manage, but she handled everything so smoothly. Cate was incredibly accommodating from the start--making sure we were comfortable, checking in often, and keeping everything organized without ever making us feel rushed. She was so attentive to our needs, and somehow still managed to take great care of the rest of the floor during a super busy trivia night. Honestly, we were impressed by how on top of everything she was! Our whole group left happy, well taken care of, and already talking about coming back. One of my favorite summer spots! Dockside brews their own beer and offers a beachy vacation vibe in Devon (Milford) CT. Their outside patio has multiple tiers one with a bar, one with private cabanas, and one on the harbor with a waterside bar! Their food doesn't miss either! I usually get multiple appetizers such as fried pickles, general tsaos cauliflower, or the giant pretzel. They also have pizza and a variety of entrees. My favorite beer is the Dockside Mango Tango or The Yacht Rock IPA. The only downside which is not the fault of the restaurant just be prepared to deal with bugs on occasion since its near the water, you can ask for a candle or fan though to help! The staff is very friendly and attentive of your needs making every experience one to remember! Be sure to come back in the winter as they deck the place out for Christmas and offer private igloos you can reserve! read more

There's a lot of restaurants/bars on Bridgeport Avenue and Dockside can never unnoticed? A spot for so many great occasions! Dockside is such a fun spot to dine in at, they have an outdoor section and then two different main sections with different things going on. You can find live music, trivia, drinks pouring and a stacked menu to choose from. Their Big Mac egg rolls, Pickle Pizza, and Mashed Potato Pizza are some of my favorites here. They also make a ton of specialty cocktails that tie into certain holidays or celebrations and the attention to detail is awesome! My family and I visited Dockside because we heard they were decked out for the holidays, and we weren't disappointed! The decorations were beautiful, and we couldn't believe how many options there were on the menu. We ordered a bunch of shareables, and everything we had was delicious! I couldn't believe how good their pizzas were too, and how unique some of their speciality pies were. Even though it was a busy Saturday night, the staff did a great job of being attentive and getting drinks and food to the table as quickly as they could. I decided to try this spot. As we were celebrating my girlfriend birthday. She loves any place with water views and outside sitting. I had the aha tuna poke bowl. It was pretty tasty. But it's important to cut the tuna in cubes. There were some pieces. That were not cut correctly. It made for an uncomfortable chew. The oysters were salty, brimy and fat. The ambiance was lit. And the customer service was excellent. You have an option of reserving a cabana at no cost. You also have an option of the beach view. You sat at tables where your feet were in sand. You also had the option of doing the teeky boat ride. You enjoy a 90 minute cruise. Byob and snakes as well. I will definitely be returning to Dockside Brewery. If youre in the milford, CT area. Went for small pours of beer, the cherry one was excellent. I had a soup and a salad. The salad was good, had beets and grains, all the lettuce was good. The clam chowder should be skipped at all costs. I love the boys and girls dinner options, though possibly too much alcohol included for the amount of food it seems to advertise, but its a nice offering. There was so much seating and the waitress even checked to see if the heater lamp we were seated under was over powered or just right and then turned it down for us. Excellent service, lots of parking at least in October. read more

Had dinner here on a Tuesday evening. It's quite a big place with upstairs and downstairs, inside and out, with and without canopies. Pretty casual vibe, good and helpful staff. Parking looks fairly good, might be difficult when busy. The food was very good and enjoyed by all in my party. They do have a rule for groups that I don't love, which is parties of 6 or more get one check and a 20% gratuity automatically added on. The gratuity is pretty standard practice but the one check thing is not good. Good place to check out. read more

Love,love, love this summer time vibe ambiance here at Dockside!! My first time and definitely not my last. Already planning another trip, even though it's an hour away, it's totally worth it! The scenery, the boats, the decor and the food all matched! Just amazing summer fun! The drinks were fruity and bright, the food was light and lobstery and the views were very relaxing. I honestly enjoyed the whole experience. We loved the summer nachos with lobster and sweet chili sauce, and there famous Philly steak egg rolls!! My favorite was the Ahi Tuna Nachos with fresh avocado, fried wonton chips and sauces of sriracha and cucumber wasabi drizzled lightly on top. We literally had the perfect weather to eat outside and there's like 10 different sections to choose from. Upstairs is a bar, there's a middle deck, and then there's outdoor picnic tables with umbrellas everywhere too. Cabanas and a fire pit were other seating areas as well. The servers were pleasant and I loved how they even had non alcoholic beer at this brewery that tasted exactly like an IPA! I was blown away at how much fun I had here. When on CT this is one of my places to visit. I enjoy the ambiance and the beer selection. Visited in summer, fall winter and spring and enjoyed some seasonal events there. Every time we've been here it's just been such a solid experience. Great place to bring a group of family / friends or just grab a bite with your significant other. As you'd expect, the beer selection is massive. They have their own beer on tap but also a ton of guest breweries. Food is also more than you'd expect. The Dockside Pizza is one of our favs but they have a lot of other great ones as well. The indoor space is nice but the outdoor space is HUGE and comfortable. Service is great. Lobster rolls are my go-to summer indulgence. They epitomize a New England summer for me, and I often order them when dining out during the warmer months. For me, a good warm-style Connecticut lobster roll hinges on two main factors: the quality of the lobster meat and the bun it's served on. I'm firmly on team hot dog bun roll - nothing beats that perfect balance of buttery lobster nestled in a soft, toasted hot dog bun. A round bun just doesn't cut it for me when it comes to enjoying this quintessential treat. Having said all that this lobster roll was good. I especially appreciated how well the bun held up, even after I drenched it in the extra melted butter they provided. Some of the lobster meat I first ate was a bit chewy. Although the remainder of the lobster meat were not. The fries were cooked perfectly. The meal I believe came with cole slaw which they forgot so I asked for it. Glad I did because it was also good. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his salmon burger. Instead of fries, he opted to upgrade to a tri-color pasta salad for just an additional $1. The portion was generous and the salad was quite flavorful. They also offer a nice selection of cocktails and a wide variety of beers. I had the "Kiss and Tell." A light cocktail made with Grey Goose vodka, strawberry essence, strawberry fruitful (that's what the menu says?) pink lemonade and seltzer. It was a refreshing cocktail. The views of the marina were spectacular, and combined with the outdoor comforts, it made for a delightful lunch experience. They offer three outdoor dining areas, along with an indoor space that is well air-conditioned, featuring a large bar and the brewery stacks behind glass doors. read more

We ordered 5 meals and pulled our boat up to the dock. The server brought our meals out in a bag and we pulled away to enjoy our food at the marina. When we opened the bag there were only 4 meals - not 5 like we had ordered - and there we only 2 sets of silverware. Epic fail. VERY disappointing! This is the second time this has happened.
