I think my wife probably would have rated her meal a 2 and me a 5 so I'm settling at a 4. She had the southwest salad with shrimp. The shrimp was not well seasoned or cooked and overall her salad was blah. I had the WB Queso burger which was awesome but I could have used more of the queso and more poblano flavor. Love that they have sidewinder fries. Rare and elite - I'd come back just for those.

Great service! Good food! This is one of the best Happy Hours with food and beverages! From 2 to 6 pm Mon to Friday, you have some nice options. The wings are pretty good! The quesadillas are filling and taste great! Honestly, I have not tried the entrees yet . It's hard to get past these appetizers. I keep ordering these and getting full! It's open, looks like a hole in the walls, but looks great inside! Stop by and try them out!

Food was great! Came for Father's Day and had a great time with the family. I had to take some home that's how big my burger was. The fries was the hit! If you go try the brunch special chicken waffle

A little bro-y. It definitely has part sports bar feel and part gastropub feel. We sat outside because it was pretty empty compared to inside. However, someone kept coming outside and smoking, and the smoke kept reaching us in the outside space. There are some interesting whisky flights, one of which we went for. There are also some cocktails, not only whisky based. The birthday martini was fun. Our waitress was a little distant, but that was ok. I think she was also working at the busy bar. We had to bring our check inside to pay.

the food was so good and the servers are the sweetest! I love the entire restaurant and how quickly the food comes too! Appetizers and main dishes are always top tier! Would definitely come back!

Great local watering hole with big burgers and great staff. Priced well and always seems busy. I can see why.

Extremely festive with tasteful Christmas decorations. We decided to sit at the bar to get a better feel. Caley first welcomed us. Very professional and friendly. We ordered a drink and looked over the menu, which is limited, but she recommended the mac n cheese, so we tried it. It was a 4 out of 5. Very nice, creamy and good. We also had the privilege of meeting Brittany (one of owners) and Mike (bartender). All were very helpful In recommending other restaurants to try and just genuine conversation. The bar is decorated so well for Christmas, offers true darts, and table shuffle board. On our very first visit we were treated like long term regulars. Go with complete confidence. The menu is on the smaller size, but has great offerings and is suitable for the space the building holds. Our order: -We took advantage of the half off wings special for Sundays. The wings were a good size and we enjoyed the blue cheese. -Brussel sprouts: piping hot! And a HUGE portion size. These are a saucier style (loved the maple flavor) as opposed to crispy. Definitely recommend. -Buffalo Cauliflower: Just the right amount of kick and perfectly roasted. We loved the ranch dipping sauce. Also definitely recommend. -We had to try the O.G. Chicken sandwich as it appears to be the menu staple. The edges could have used some more sauce, but the middle bites of the sandwich were juicy! Loved the pickles, bacon, ranch, and American cheese flavor combo. -Side of onion rings, was served with honey mustard. Not overly greasy, had great flavor. Service was great, we loved the music but wish we could have heard more commentating from the basketball games. We were frustrated at times with the use of their plastic utensils... we often were fighting with our veggies as they slid off of our forks, but understand how the plastic utensils aligns with their popular food truck. We left feeling VERY full and took some wings to go. There were quite a few parties for a Sunday night, and their take out business seemed steady. Liberty Rock Tavern appears to be a hidden gem of a sports bar in the Milford area. We definitely plan to go back!

I had been eagerly awaiting the seasonal opening of this once-great neighborhood spot. In fact,…read morewhen I bought my home just two blocks away, knowing I could walk to The Lazy Lobster was honestly a small factor in my decision. Their lobster bisque and lobster rolls were a true treat, worth traveling for. I still remember my son walking in wearing a Staples lacrosse shirt, and one of the owners immediately saying, "Staples in the house!" We found out he was an alumnus. The owners were genuinely passionate about great food, and it showed. The following year, after I bought my house, I noticed the restaurant had been completely renovated. I asked if it was under new ownership. They said yes, but assured me the chef was the same. One spoonful of the bisque confirmed it, the recipe hadn't changed. Fast forward to this season. I couldn't wait for them to reopen. The delay made sense since they had expanded into the former paddleboard shop and undergone another major renovation. So I eagerly ordered my favorite lobster bisque... to go. A bowl was $18 because it was listed as "market price." Since when is lobster bisque market price? I figured maybe it was loaded with chunks of lobster. It wasn't. That alone wouldn't have bothered me if the soup had still been the incredible bisque I remembered. Instead, the recipe was completely different. It seems the renovation also meant losing the original chef, and unfortunately, that chef was the real reason many of us kept coming back. I'm genuinely disappointed. The original Lazy Lobster felt like a place built around serving exceptional food. This new version feels more like an operation focused on recouping a renovation investment through higher prices. It's a sad change for what was once one of the true gems of this charming neighborhood.
