While staying in the area for business, I searched extensively for a restaurant with a "foodie" menu featuring unique dishes and eventually found this place. The menu is indeed intriguing, offering a variety of appetizers, handhelds, and entrées. Upon entering, I noticed the restaurant was quite empty, with only a few other diners. I chose to sit at the bar, where the bartender attended to me. He provided some decent recommendations and gave an overview of the menu. Although he was friendly, he seemed more interested in conversing with another couple and later a co-worker, which affected his attentiveness to me and other customers who arrived. I started with the smoked wings, which were excellent. The BBQ sauce was flavorful, and the wings had a perfect smoky and crispy texture. For my main course, I opted for the Kick'n Chicken Sandwich, but without eggplant, as I'm not a fan. The sandwich looked appetizing, but the bread was not toasted, lacking the crispy texture I would have preferred. The chicken was well-seasoned but the sandwich overall was dry and lacked flavor. However, the fries that accompanied it were outstanding - nicely crisp and piping hot. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would consider returning. I think my wife probably would have rated her meal a 2 and me a 5 so I'm settling at a 4. She had the southwest salad with shrimp. The shrimp was not well seasoned or cooked and overall her salad was blah. I had the WB Queso burger which was awesome but I could have used more of the queso and more poblano flavor. We've been here two times and overall it's been a positive experience. The service was very good, the food and drinks were tasty and the atmosphere was good as well. The prices were on par for similar establishments - which is a little high across the board in this state, but that's just how it is. There is really only one problem here, and it's the seating. While the wrought iron chairs may have been an aesthetic decision that match the rustic design, they are really, REALLY uncomfortable! We were fortunate enough to have chairs that had a cushion on them (which most of them didn't appear to have), but even with the cushions, sitting in those chairs for only a short time was uncomfortable. Gotta say we would have stayed a lot longer and ordered several more rounds of drinks, but our backs and butts just couldn't take another second on those hard metal chairs. Ultimately, I'd give this place 4, probably even 5 stars if new comfortable chairs were added. Hopefully management will take this suggestion into consideration in the future. read more

A little bro-y. It definitely has part sports bar feel and part gastropub feel. We sat outside because it was pretty empty compared to inside. However, someone kept coming outside and smoking, and the smoke kept reaching us in the outside space. There are some interesting whisky flights, one of which we went for. There are also some cocktails, not only whisky based. The birthday martini was fun. Our waitress was a little distant, but that was ok. I think she was also working at the busy bar. Food: We ordered the tailgate platter where you can order 25 wings with 4 different flavors. We ordered Thai chili wings, Buffalo, maple bacon, and mango habanero. We didn't need to advise how the chicken should be cooked. It was cooked well done, crispy not wet and nicely coated in all the sauces. The fried pickles are cut thick and are breaded perfectly similar to breaded wings, but beer battered. The best fried pickles ever. We decided to get the Lawson's Mad River Maple and a pitcher of city steam naughty nurse amber ale. Both great beers, my top choice is Lawson's Mad River Maple. Ambiance: There was a kid's party to the side of the bar towards the back of the restaurant. It's nice to know that you can have dinner parties buffet style here with much space available. They have a nice, cozy, warm, and inviting vibe. It can become crowded pretty quickly. The parking lot is a decent size but can be packed pretty quickly, especially during happy hour or when sporting games are airing. Service: Was amazing Ashley was our waitress. She was super nice. In less than 5 minutes our waitress came by, apologized for the wait (again, less than 5 minutes), explained she was the only waitress on tonight, and took our order. Hands down the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. We were a party of 8 with a reservation, and from the start, everything went downhill. After ordering drinks, we waited 20 minutes just to get them. We had clearly informed our server that we had an event to attend and needed to be in and out within 90 minutes--but that didn't seem to matter. Our food took forever, and when it finally arrived, it came out at random intervals, meaning none of us ate together. One person got their appetizer at the same time others got their entrées, and by the time the rest of us finished eating, he still hadn't received his main course. We had to take his dessert to go. We raised concerns multiple times to the so-called "manager," whose dismissive attitude made the experience even worse. The waiter was clearly overwhelmed and struggling, but rather than stepping in to help, management was rude, unhelpful, and completely indifferent. The owner? Nowhere to be found. Complete chaos, unacceptable service, and a manager with an attitude problem. Never again. read more

It could have been stronger but I am margarita connoisseur if I say so myself, and I like my margaritas with an extra kick. When I go back I'll just request a strong margarita. It's been a few weeks since my husband and I stopped here for the first time to try the food. I don't remember how he felt about his Burger, I don't remember which one he got I think it was the egg one no, but I know that I loved my burger which was a bacon burger, and the fries and tater tots were good as well. We decided to try this alcoholic coffee kind of drink and it was okay but I'm not a very alcohol person, and it was a little strong for me personally.
