Went last night for a surprise party. The food was horrible. Probably the worst roast beef and chicken I've ever had. The roast beef was slimy and had a funky smell. Everyone there had the same issues with the food. Just horrible. I'm surprised no one got sick, that's how bad it was. OAH never really had the best food to begin with but last night was a new low. read more

I cant even. Sat at the bar tonight and expected to be served shortly as the bartender was right in front of us interacting with the males she clearly knew at the end of the bar. We were expecting her to welcome and serve us but instead the males asked for shots so we were completely ignored and they were attended to first. We waited. She got their shots and disappeared altogether. Finally reappeared after 15 minutes and again started her interaction with the male customers, again disappears. My friend sees her appear at the other end of the bar and finally yells out can we get some drinks? My friend orders wine and I ask to sample the Tribus. I eventually get the sample but aparently she doesn't feel the need to come back and serve me. Eventually I was able to order the Tribus but never offered a menu though the gentleman who came soon after received one. We were finally able to obtain a menu and order food. We were never made to feel welcome or attended to in any way. I made sure to order a second beer when I was halfway through the first because I knew I wouldn't get one otherwise. This bartender was very clearly attentive to any male in the establishment, women were barely acknowledged. I paid and left no tip as it wasnt earned. I left a note for management on the receipt. "Worst bartender and service ever." I meant that. I was followed out to my car and heard a very loud and aggressive HEYYY!!! I turned and she told me my message was RUDE. I informed her that SHE was rude, that I was also a fellow bartender. She said she was "alone" and that I should have known that. How? She barely acknowledged our existence and that was never communicated. That bar had what 15 seats lol. Still doesn't explain why males got preferential treatment. Anyhow, this girl had the nerve to aggressively follow me out and also had the nerve to tell me not to come back! Dont worry Adriana, we wont. I feel bad leaving this review but it is honest. First, I will start with everything positive. The pool tables are great, the table service and bartenders have always been friendly and professional, and the boneless chicken wings are awesome. Generally, the food has been very good, but... My wife and I order out from here a few times a month as a "guilty pleasure" because we love bar food. The last time we ordered from here, we ordered boneless wings and the "full" sized nachos. The boneless wings were great but the nachos were lacking. The bartender claimed "this is what he is now calling full size and he swears he is double layering them". Nope. Bartender also said I was the last of several people to complain about it that day alone. Burnt chips and barely any cheese. Why go cheap on nachos - of all things? I know everyone is hurting in this economy thanks to a dementia patient, but this is how you lose customers. Hard working people don't like being ripped off, especially when they can afford to treat themselves rarely. P.s. read some other reviews. The dress code isn't "racist" and an establishment can do what it wants. But I do question a dress code at all when I see what they do allow lol. OAH is always a great option for a late night snack. Beer is always ice cold. Teryaki boneless wings are our favorite! Pizza is also very good. We used to go there often when we lived in Milford, now it's our late night food option when we roll into town to visit family. read more

Party of 12 for dinner on Saturday night Adrianna was our waitress she was truly fantastic! started with several different wing flavors, wedge salad, Caesar salad, quesadilla sweet chili wings were some of the best on the post rd! then went on to French dip, corned beef Reuben's , burgers, oh and the Cajun tater tots were on point!! Having read some of the poor reviews on this site, we were blown away by what an excellent experience WE had! The staff was friendly as could be, Amber (who was called out by some nasty reviewer) was so accomodating that we thought she was the owner. As it turns out we got to meet the owners who were also amazing people and we had a great time there. Also - GREAT wings! One of our favorites was the Cajun Dry Rub! Some of the other items on the menu looked amazing (as do the photos on Facebook) so we'll get back in there for other food very soon. Support the restaurant business and its workers. They're going through a tough time and deserve our love and support. This place is a gem! read more

We've been going here for years and had never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and seem to remember most customers from past visits. Considering the small kitchen, they have to work with they put out some very good food. Any problems are quickly taken care of. I find the owner to be personable and he gives back often to the community. We have attended many fund raisers there, as well as running a couple of our own. To address a previous review, I have never seen any of the staff or owner drinking while working. read more

Went to Orange Ale House last night. Ordered 2 beers that were 3/4 way filled. Ordered a mushroom swiss burger that was overcooked. It had 3 mushrooms on it and the bun was old. For the amount of money they charge for a burger, they should include fries and a pickle but fries are extra and were soggy and greasy. Not going there again. read more

We didn't realize it was more of a bar than a restaurant. Brought the kids for lunch on a Sunday and they had us move into another room where the bar wasn't open. Strange, but fine. There were games in there that the kids could play with and a pool table. Plenary of tvs throughout and they let us put in any channel we wanted. I had a bacon cheddar burger with tots. It was fine, nothing to be excited about. My daughter had a philly cheese steak with fries. Too much salt in everything. The service was good, but took a while. Maybe they forgot we were in the other room by ourselves. Luckily there was plenty to do in there that the kids didn't get bored. I would go again. read more

TL; DR : Food is okay at best, service is horrible, besides VERY few exceptions, the staff are very rude unless youre part of their click back from HS. Used to be a somewhat humbling experience; nice staff, great food, welcoming environment. Then it became full of itself very quickly after covid. If youre not getting wasted drunk, the bartenders wont look at you; better yet if youre attempting to go dry and sikply hang with friends and eat, youre the black sheep of the barstand. Food, Thats another sore spot; while some options are absolutely delicious, it gets dicey depending on whos working. Some days the fried foods are simply just fried skins of what theyre supposed to be, and the portions for what youre payong for are laughable (i paid $14 for three chix tenders. Really??). Other days you are treated to a gourmet meal and its amazing (problem is much of the time this happens the staff dont remember how to make it the following week leaving you wondering when you can enjoy it again). This place is cool.. pool table, foosball, darts.. I had a good time here coming in I ordered my Tennessee mule and put my quarter on the pool table.. I might've had 4 of those mules bcuz I needed to stay occupied as I beat all these strangers asses in that table.. if they had a leadership board I'd def be somewhere at the top I'm undefeated here It got to the point I was ready to go home I was there for hours! I've been here twice now. I'm kind of unsure how to rate the experiences. The first time I had the Shamrock burger, which is made with meat from a local farm. I thought it was quite good, flavorful and juicy - well prepared and served on a nice bun. I was back there again and had one of the specials which was fish tacos. I really like fish tacos and they gave me 3 nice sized tacos. They were good and the fish was pretty tasty but the flavor lacked something, maybe a good sauce. I want to go back and try the pizza. I'd say it's a good place but nothing great or anything. It is more of a sports bar with lots of TV's. They also have pool tables, a shuffleboard table, a large jenga set, and lots of table games. They have a few rooms and it's probably good for parties. The service was OK and parking is not an issue. read more

We picked up an order of Jamaican Jerk wings and when we got home and prepared to eat them they had no seasoning. We called and spoke with Jason who told us to call in on Tuesday to get a refund or another order. I called and spoke with Aubrey who initially offered to remake the wings and shortly after the call she called back to say the owner is not willing to fulfill the order. What kind of customer service is this place using? Why would someone be willing to travel 40 minutes to get replacement wings if they were done correctly the first time. It's sad that my money was "stolen" in this way. Be ware of this organization as the customer service and consideration is lacking. My husband and I attempted to try this but were rudely treated. There was only one other couple at the bar when we arrived. There were only high top tables in bar area but noticed regular tables in other room. Bartender said we could sit anywhere, but when we started to go to room with tables, she said-in this room. I said that I would prefer the table because I can't sit at the high top tables. She laughed and said I could give you a stool. Well, we sat at table but left due to the rudeness. Honestly, the food here was really good. Their wings were GREAT! With that being said, though... I wasn't impressed by anything else. For an 'Ale House' their selection of brews is lacking, to say the least. And the bartender got quite surly when my friend and I asked for two shots of Gran Marnier. She gave us a teeny tiny little pour, then reluctantly measured the shots in an actual jigger when we gave her the hairy eyeball. The shot didn't even go halfway up the jigger!!! Came here on a Wednesday after work for happy hour. They have a bunch of specials on drinks and food from 4-7pm on weekdays (see photo posted). If you like bananas, you must try the Shock Top Spiced Banana Wheat beer! It's a limited edition so grab it while it's hot! Well, hopefully it's cold...grab it while it's cold. There's complimentary pizza during happy hour which is clutch when you just want a small, nothing special, quick bite to eat with your beer. Service could have been better - there was only one girl serving both the tables and the bar. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again, but if I was in the area looking for a happy hour, it's a decent spot. read more

We were coming in (late...sorry again...I didn't realize how late the tournament was running!) after a a difficult loss and the girls were feeling sad...this had been their last game together..EVER. But then Karaoke started. Apparently that is the cure of whatever ails you!! They had a ball. Thank you to your staff for their attentiveness, the kitchen for the delicious food and the Karaoke DJ for helping us celebrate together. Waitresses that disappear for 25 minutes, only to reappear but continue to ignore customers. The girls they hire are certainly not there for their ability to wait tables. "Managers" are non-existent.
