Bar 3 Thirty Three is a craft beer bar that opened in Milford, Connecticut in 2014. It was founded by husband and wife Frank and Rene Gargiulo. The menu features a large selection of craft beers on draught that are paired with variety of gastropub eats. I recently had dinner at Bar Thirty Three while I was in Milford. I knew that I wouldn't be home until later so I checked on Yelp to see if there were any good craft beer bars nearby. Bar Thirty Three came highly recommended, so I decided to give them a try. The place had a neighborhood bar feel to it. I pulled up a seat at the bar and began looking over their impressive draught list. I decided to start with a pour of Evil Twin Brewing's "Blue Raspberry" (Fruited Sour IPA). It was very light with nice sour berry notes. I paired it with a plate of "Pickle Chips" (fried sliced pickles and house-made buttermilk ranch). They were very flavorful but a little too hot; I burned my bottom lip on the hot juices inside. Afterwards I ordered a pour of Berkshire Brewing's "Snow Day" (White Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout). It had delicious notes of white chocolate with subtle hints of peanut butter. I paired it with a delicious "Lobster Club Sandwich" (butter poached lobster, smoked bacon, lettuce and tomato). This was my kind of sandwich! Great beer, great eats, great vibes, great company! I give Bar 3 Thirty Three my seal of approval!

This time ordered salad instead of fries w burger- greens came out wilted and warm - ick. Things pretty bland this time, so this place seems hit/miss-

We added this place to our favorites! We will be back! Tried this place out tonight. My husband was afraid the bars would be crowded because of the Derby. We arrived about 5. It wasn't busy and he was nervous. He was wrong! We were greeted at the door and seated promptly. The place was clean and spacious. Our server quickly got us drinks, and we ordered the pretzel bites. They were soft and delicious. When ordering food, my daughter forgot what her burger was called. As soon as I mentioned it had pineapple, the server knew it was the Baha burger. There were lots of beers and cider on tap. My husband got a Sam Summer. My daughter tried a citrus cider. She also got a peach drink, which was dangerously tasty. All our food was absolutely delicious! My husband loved the lobster sliders! My daughter ate every bit of her burger. And the tacos were so good! You can choose chicken, loster, tuna, or ahi. And you can choose an aioli, mayo, or sour cream. So many options. The place filled up a bit by the time we left, but we werent rushed. It's a family-friendly place. The prices were decent. Check it out!

Had to get my car fixed up the street, so decided to go for a walk and see what was in the area around lunch time. Stopped in here. The worker Alex was awesome. Looked like she was the only one working and she held that shit down lol, great worker and very kind. I started off with the Buffalo chicken meatballs. They were fantastic. Lightly crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside. This did come with gogonzola cream and crumbs but I got the cream on the side. Not a big fan of it but their's was tasty. I also ordered the Lobster club.. butter poached Lobster, with bacon, lettuce and I held the tomatoes on Texas toast...WOW was this delicious. The amount of Lobster was so surprising because usually places jip you sadly, but not here! I have no complaints at all. Over all a great experience. Will definitely be back on a weekend and try other options and drink some beer!

We came here on Superbowl Sunday, and were glad to see it wasn't terribly busy. They had plenty of screens (though we were not really there too watch the game), and the atmosphere is chill. They have a decent beer selection, read the beer menu with an eye for detail, the drafts and cans are all mixed together. They had some garlic parmesan wings on special which were delicious, definitely tasted like fresh lightly roasted garlic. Then we each got sandwiches (see pics!!) They were happy to accommodate my request for extra lettuce and no bun which turned my chicken caprese sandwich into a great salad. We don't get to this area often, but we'd definitely go back

Twin Lobster special was wicked good

The $21 for 2 whole lobsters special was delicious Great food, good service!! The buffalo chicken meatballs were really delicious. The bartender Gary was fun to talk to and a very good mixologist. Our server Kaylee was so nice and attentive. The atmosphere is cute. There was a 1 man band playing when we got there. He was good but it was really loud if you were at a table near him. This place is worth a visit.

Food is ok. Service is ok. Ambiance is a bar. Came here for happy hour. I really didn't find it any more than just a bar.

I have been wanting to try the viral Lobster Bomb at Stone Ridge for years, literally YEARS, and…read morelet me tell you... it was absolutely worth every single penny and the wait. If you're a lobster lover, this is your moment. Rich, buttery, packed with flavor, and indulgent in the best way. It's one of those dishes you think about long after you leave. All the way up until warming up the left overs. No regrets. Not one. For the kids, the steak medallions were such a good deal. Generous portion, cooked perfectly, and paired with really good fries (because yes, fry quality matters). Clean plate club status achieved. Now let's talk dressing. I am a dressing snob, and the green goddess? It was great. Fresh, herbaceous, creamy without being heavy. I would absolutely buy that by the bottle. Dessert sealed the deal. The brownie was that warm, ooey-gooey, stick-to-your-fork kind of brownie. Topped with yummy ice cream melting into all the chocolate goodness. Exactly what you want when you order a brownie. no dry edges, no disappointment. The decor is beautiful:warm, inviting, upscale but still comfortable. Service was great with genuine smiles. They checked in consistently without hovering, and shoutout to Ezekiel in the parking lot for such a kind welcome right from the start. First impressions matter, and they nailed it. I can only imagine how gorgeous this place must be on a summer night. We will absolutely be back to explore more of the menu. I'll get a photo of the front and patio next time!

If you live anywhere near Milford and haven't been to Tribus yet, congratulations--you've been…read morewasting your weekends. This place is everything you want in a brewery and nothing you don't. First off, the beer: it's stupidly good. Like, annoyingly good. The kind of good where you go in thinking, "I'll just try one" and then three flights later you're googling if it's socially acceptable to move into a brewery. Their IPAs actually taste different from one another (shocking, I know), the stouts don't drink like liquid bread, and even the lighter stuff has actual flavor. It's witchcraft, and I'm here for it. The vibe? Top tier. Inside feels like hanging out in your cool friend's garage--if your cool friend also had a professional brewing setup and knew what the hell they were doing. Outside, the beer garden is basically Milford's adult playground. Add in food trucks and you've got yourself the perfect Saturday. The staff? Friendly, quick, and actually seem like they enjoy being there. Do you know how rare that is? I've been to breweries where the bartender looked like I asked them to solve long division just by ordering a pint. Not here. At Tribus, they get it right. Bottom line: If you're looking for a place where the beer slaps, the vibe's relaxed, and you won't get ignored like a ghost at a bad Mexican restaurant (ask me how I know), Tribus is it. 11/10, would recommend, and will absolutely keep coming back until they name a beer after me.

Happy Easter Day to everyone who celebrates Christian Faith…read more My Sister and I had reservations for dinner at one of the best restaurants in West Haven, in most people's opinions. Duffy's is an Irish American Pub/Restaurants owned by Christopher Walsh. Being a holiday, Duffy's is offering both their traditional and brunch menu options. The historic backdrop is filled on the walls throughout the restaurant of baseball, football, political heroes and of course, a touch of Irish heritage and American pride. The staff immediately make you feel welcome and right at home with their warm demeanor and bright smiles. My Sister had the Brunch Wrap with a side of Home Fries (Sorry no picture) I had to Slow Cooker Pot Roast with Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli and Carrots. Once we walked inside, I was smitten. Duffy's is that neighborhood pub you find across the pond, beautifully decorated and with a great vibe. The place was clean and our waitress was the sweetest. After getting some recommendations from the waitress, I ordered the fish and chips. These were different than what I'm used to. Instead of a big piece of fish, I two small pieces of fish. It was interesting and there was nothing special about them. The coleslaw was okay, as were the French fries. One of my friends ordered a steak (medium rare) and it was tough and overcooked. Overall, the food wasn't great, but the ambiance made up for it. Would I return to have a pint at the bar? Absolutely! Would I come hungry next time? Probably not.
