Hanger Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Spinach.

My husband and I stopped in on a Monday night for dinner and drinks. We started with the street corn dip, which was amazing! My husband ordered the Caribbean Jerk Chicken and I ordered a Butcher Board with the Hanger Steak, Spinach and mashed potatoes - both dishes were amazing and full of flavor. We both ordered espresso martinis which were some of the best we've ever had and for dessert we shared the banana tres leches which was also amazing. We went back a few nights later for some appetizers and more espresso martinis! We will definitely go back the next time we are in the area. The vibes were top notch and it was such a welcoming atmosphere! They have a fantastic Jazz duo on Monday nights, not too loud and added to the atmosphere.

Wow! We absolutely loved Crave and will most certainly miss it. So we thought we'd give this a try. The food here is amazing. Same quality and attention to detail we came to love before. When you have talent even if you change direction success follows you. Best of luck we will be back to make new memories in a wonderful new place!

They made Kale taste good!!! First time back since they updated the restaurant and my wife and I were impressed. We like the updated bar seating as now we have a place we can meet friends comfortably for drinks. Now on to the food and drinks. My cocktails were great, my wife's Chardonnay was delicious. We skipped appetizers because they are known for desserts. My wife had salmon, cooked perfectly with a kale and coconut rice side that was delicious. I hate Kale but would try this again. I had the duck special with a Luxardo cherry sauce, purple potatoes and vegetable medley. Simply delicious. Now the best part, The carrot cake dessert with the most delicious caramel sauce. It was light, moist, not heavy. A exquisite finish to the night. We will be returning soon.

If I could give this place more than 5 Stars I would! Dinner was excellent from start to finish. Great portions and very ecletic menu. Eddie was our waiter and he had such a great personality. Everything about this place was stellar. It is quite pricey but worth every penny in my opinion. They also have a great looking non alcoholic drink menu. Don't sleep on this place! I will list below what all of us had. I will add pictures later. Asian Cucumber Salad New York Strip Filet Mignon Thai Coconut Shrimp Chicken Burrito Bowl

This review is solely based on our experience with their Sunday brunch. As a fellow past Crave/Latin fusion cuisine lover, we gave Uptown a try and it didn't live up to the dining experiences that we previously had. After being really underwhelmed I wouldn't be back for brunch as the menu was all over the place for us as we couldn't get a try vision of the chef for these selections and most dishes just fell flat. The best dish was the flatbread, it was delicious, I would recommend it solely as a meal or a starter for the table. I was one of the only guests who had a clear hit with this selection, but it wasn't enough to make me go back for brunch. They were busy and the staff certainly hustled; without a doubt they could of used a few extra servers which we know are hard to come by as two tables next to us, up and left after waiting for awhile to be greeted, etc. The jazz music although nice, it was very loud and made it difficult to carry on a conversation in the next room. Although we wouldn't go back for brunch, we definitely want to give Uptown another try for dinner as the menu looks fabulous!

So new beginnings for Libby and Crave endings! We were here for our daughter's graduation and we were made a table for 5 on the sidewalk and it was a beautiful evening. Jackie ( 6 years at Crave and now Uptown) was our wait person and she's a pro plus! Everyone working this night, and we were served by 3 wonderful staff, was so helpful and they take their cues from Libby, the owner! Food was so fire and fun. We were able to take home another meal and them some! Short ribs are still on the menu as part of a butcher block selection that I had and they were very good. My wife had the paparadel with shreded short ribs and my oldest daughter had an Asian pear salad with organic salmon that was money! The grad had a burger with great truffle fries. She ran out of steam after the apps which are the star of the show. Tater tots called patatas bravas, bang bang shrimp, fresh tuna over crispy rice, eggplant chips and these are more complicated than my description. We could not stay for dessert bc we have eyes bigger than stomachs! I cannot wait to go back. It's a competitive environment in the service industry and they clearly understand that and they do go above and beyond to make you happy with your choice to dine with them at Uptown. I should ad that the vibe inside is more hipster than its predecessor and in the bar area there are awesome couches with colorful pillows and neon signage and comfy chairs and small tables to chill and the vibe is insta worthy! Go and enjoy this place before it really takes off like a Gulfstream on a runway and you have trubs getting a table!

Boy are we are missing Crave. I used to go to there for lunch with my work friends. Loved the menu and the drinks. When UPTOWN opened we were anxious to try it out. Well, beside our waitress who was awesome there isn't a lot of positive to our experience. There wasn't many vegan options seems to be all comfort food. The drinks were different and we were not really finding anything that appealed to us, so we ordered Margaritas and a flatbread appetizer. I'm posting the receipt. Will probably never go again way to expensive. $18 for one drink? This is not NYC and even if it was... All other drinks on the menu were $14 so I don't understand.

I've been to Crave before and I enjoyed it so decided to check out the new place and menu. The look of the restaurant is looking like it going towards a younger crowd. Lounge areas, black walls, and graffiti art in the bathroom. I love it, looks really nice and chill. The menu is still upscale and pricey. We sat outside, it was okay. The server was really nice. The food was okay. We ordered the Asian cucumber salad. It was light which I enjoyed, just felt like it could have had a more Asian flavor, was a little bland. We also ordered the dirty tatchos. I enjoyed this, lots of different Ingredients that paired well together but the tator tots needed to be cooked longer. For the entree we ordered the chicken cutlet with mashed potatoes and spinach. The chicken was cooked nicely but it had no flavor, along with the sauce it was in. The spinach and potatoes were good. Our check was about 80 bucks, with prices like this the food should be better. More flavor! I would return here but nothing special in my opinion.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Not 1 complaint from my boyfriend and I during our dining experience last night. Fun atmosphere! Harvest and our waiter, Rich, were super engaging and knowledgeable about the menu. Our drinks were delish and I'm still drooling over the bang bang shrimp!!! I'll post a picture of our entrees because that speaks for itself. Can't wait to come back!

I order dinner and they were out of the hanger steak. My boyfriend ordered and they were out of the paella. I ended up getting the chicken cutlet board. The chicken was very dry, it was like a fish fry batter, not what I think of when I hear "cutlet". Over cooked, salty. My boyfriend got the salmon. I tasted it at the end of the meal, I couldn't even believe he tried to eat it. It was very overcooked and so fishy. Also it said that his potatoes were Lyonnaise potatoes, Definitely not, they were thickly sliced, lacked seasoning, just a miss. Drink service was very slow, forgot a drink too. The waiter mentioned they're in between menus; i'm hoping my feedback can be helpful to the restaurant. Also it is my pet peeve when servers don't tell you upon seating you that they are out of an item. Being they were out of both of the entrées we wanted we may have chose to leave and come back another day and possibly have a more positive experience.

My daughter and I ordered the Hot Honey Wings for an appetizer, and my daughter had a Cheeseburger with French Fries, and I ordered the Meat Lovers Paella. I ordered the paella because I have always wanted to try it, but I don't eat seafood, so I'm glad they had a meat paella. If you're ordering the Pallea, it will take about thirty to thirty minutes, so I would order an appetizer. The wings came out, and they were good, and the sauce was good. My only problem is that many restaurants that make wings seem to miss the seasoning, and the wings were missing flavor. It was fried well, but it was missing flavor. I loved the Meat Lovers Paella, which was packed with flavor. The paella came out in a cast-iron pan, and the meats were cooked well. The steak was moist, full of flavor, and cooked well. The rice was full of flavor and delicious. The Paella had a rich flavor profile, with the prominent tastes of saffron and smoky paprika coming together to create a satisfying and aromatic experience. I would definitely be back for the Paella because the presentation was on point. The customer service was great as the waiter was friendly, outgoing, and very knowledgeable about the menu.

Bummer, as drove 20 minutes in terrible winter weather. I happened to notice the sign Retro next door. On a whim, I googled it. Great reviews. We decided to give them a try. Oh my goodness, the 4.9 out of 5 didn't lie. Out of 5, we give them a 7. Super cute, uber clean was our initial impression. Emily was behind the bar and quickly welcomed us in. We were their first customers as it had just opened. We told her about Taco Central being closed, no idea why and that this was our first time in. She was so friendly and explained pretty much everything about Retro, from it being family owned and run to what makes it special with recommendations and customer favorites. Her Dad is the owner, Gary and we quickly met him. He shared some history of the area, his background and really made us feel special, but what is special is the crazy delicious pizza we enjoyed. Probably the best pie we have had in the NE. Which is saying a lot. It's New Haven style pizza at its absolute finest. The dough, the crust, the San Marzano sauce (to die for), coupled with the cheese, and toppings. We built our own. Sausage (which he makes himself), black olives, mushrooms, hot oil, jalapeños omg!!!! The pie was so delicious. A tip, when your pizza comes out, let it sit a minute or two before grabbing a slice to let it jive together. They offer oregano, red pepper flakes, and Parmesan cheese to add. It's not needed but was so appreciated. They have apx 3 TVs to catch a game as well as tables. The ambiance is casual, retro and fun. Great date night, family friendly and welcoming. There truly wasn't one thing missing. Plus, they offer great wine choices in six or nine ounce pours at reasonable prices. But unlike so many restaurants, they have lovely long stemmed wine glasses. Great selection of beer, including local craft beers on tap and full bar. Go with complete confidence.
