Look no further than Milford Center's 7 Seas ! Their Fresh, large, juicy & perfectly fried scallops can't be beat. Served with perfectly fried petite potato wedges & an outstanding coleslaw, mate with a cold beer & you'll reach nirvana. Truth be told, have munched here on & off for 30+ years & not much has changed: great burgers, chowder, f&c's & a pretty decent beer selection PLUS lobster rolls ( best in season ) doled out in a friendly & genuine dive bar atmosphere with the classiest staff that own 100 watt smiles. Not a raw bar place though. Biggest surprise: an icy cold zero alcohol IPA from Athletic, brewed in Milford CT. Outstanding ! For a joint with no parking, you know the food & people have got to be good to keep reeling folks in. Hint #1: for parking: behind the Milford Library there is a lot. Short walk from there on an easy to moderate grade. Hint #2: If you're Uber-ing, the center is a great place to do a pub crawl.

But as an indoor sit down restaurant, I wanted a little more from the food not just event/catered foods served individually... Overall the food was good/okay. Other than the eggplant fries, nothing screamed come back for more. Service was okay. She definitely wasn't knowledgeable about the drinks and she couldn't bother to ask the bartender (I didn't realize there was a whole bar/ bar section until walking out) I asked if one of their drinks had a specific ingredient and the response was I don't know. And my aunt wanted a mocktail ( non-alcoholic cocktail) for her bday since she doesnt drink and the server said they didn't offer any. Any bartender knows at least 1 mocktail recipe, but like I said she couldn't bother to ask and I didn't realize there was a bar on the other side or I would have just went over and asked myself... If someone had an event here I'd be happy to go, but as a non-event diner I'm not in a rush to go back...

As you enter there's a stunning dance floor, a grand piano, a martini bar, a large beautiful wrap around bar, an area for dining overlooking the whole establishment and an outside patio! I am now looking forward to attending the grand opening which will be on August 19 from 7 to 10 PM with live music by the fabulous Jack Lynn. The show "Dino's Back - A Tribute to Dean Martin" is a breathtaking walk down memory lane . Dean was the consummate night club performer and Pub 34 is the perfect venue to relive those glorious days!

It looked really nice inside, but we decided to sit outside as it was a beautiful day. It was very nice out on the patio as it's set back from the street and was fairly quiet. We had been waiting a little bit to eat, so Ginnie (one of the owners/our waitress) came out with a fruit platter for us! So nice!! The burgers were MASSIVE and they gave us a ton of fries. Everything was very tasty and can't wait to try more things next time!! The other owner is really nice as well and spoke with us for a while after we ate. Will definitely come back soon!! Give Pub 34 a try!!

(Last visited 8/26/2021.) Returning from Philadelphia on a work trip and I've always heard good…read morethings about Center Street Social, so it only makes sense to stop by here on the way home! So here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on Center Street in downtown Shelton is this gem. I couldn't tell if there was a private parking lot, but I do think there may have been a small on on the side of the restaurant. We parked on the street and it wasn't a big deal. Once inside this place is very rustic, tavern-esque and I liked it. There were high ceilings and the bar is to your left once you walk in. There are seats at the bar rail and on the right side of the restaurant are lots of tables and an exposed brick wall. Then there's a 3rd side which is considered the outdoor section! There is also a bar outdoor section complete with its own bar and a lot more tables out there. Service: Emily took excellent care of us and she was awesome. It seemed as if she was running the entire restaurant by herself except for pouring drinks. She was so sweet, talkative, funny and had an awesome personality. We appreciated her. Food: So I had the chance to try 4 of their wing flavors. Let's begin. Cajun Butter = I consider this wing to be a dry rub of sorts. I mean, it's a wing, with butter on it then sprinkled with Cajun seasoning. Exactly how I like it. These were very, very good. Wasabi Ranch = Probably the best looking wing on my tray and it tasted as good as it looked. The wasabi was powerful, but not head-opening, nose-clearing powerful. Lol. The ranch was present, but not over-powering. Buffalo = Good strong smell and strong flavor. It punches you right in the mouth. Maple Buffalo = This was an odd flavor for me. Both the maple flavors and buffalo flavors are strong so in my opinion, they didn't work very well together. They overpowered each other and didn't blend very well. The wings were a little on the smaller side, but that's okay because we came on a special night, which I'll go over in the next section. Value: So on Thursdays the restaurant offer $0.75 wings with a minimum order of 6 per flavor. So the wings are a bit smaller, but it just means you can eat more and try more flavors! In conclusion, I loved this place and would really like to make my way back down here to try out some more flavors!
