    Pumpkin Ravioli

This restaurant is always great and always a four star. For those who know my reviews, 5 star is reserved for Michelin star restaurants with famous chefs. Tonight is different, I ordered the Cast Iron prepared NY Strip and was impressed with the best steak I've had in years. It was perfectly seared, fat perfectly rendered, exceptionally seasoned and topped with a compound butter. Roasted garlic garnished the plate with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. The temperature was a perfect medium rare. I've been to famous steak houses locally and abroad and the steaks are good but rarely cooked to perfection. Service was great as always, a short wait for a table and the decor with the central fireplace is perfect this time of year. If you are looking for a hearty meal with a steak as the star, try little barn. My wife had the Pumpkin Ravioli special and I will post a picture. She loved it.

First of all thank you Mary for making this night such a wonderful experience, your genuine opinions were much appreciated!!! I recommend the nachos as a starter they are the perfect sharing portion and have so much flavor. Outdoor seating was perfect not too chilly and they have warmers out for when it's too busy! Perfect portions! Kind servers! Great for big parties; very accommodating!

Beautiful restaurant in a great location. Lots of parking. The staff were nice and attentive. The food was not as good as I expected. Big mac egg rolls lacked flavor. The best bite was the sauce. My pastrami and corned beef lacked meat. Would not order it again. Salads were small and not impressive. The short rib grilled cheese was the best looking plate of the evening.

Little Barn is a rustic, cozy, casual new American restaurant featuring an indoor fireplace and a large outdoor patio. The atmosphere is homey and inviting, with farmhouse decor and rustic wood accents. My previous bosses wanted to take another staff member and me to lunch, so they took us here. I ordered the Steak Frites, a char-grilled and sliced Bistro Filet, Parmesan French Fries, and Garlic Herb Butter. The Steak was cooked nicely, and the Garlic Herb Butter was delicious. The Garlic Herb butter gave the Steak a boost of flavor. The Steak was seasoned well, and the French Fries were delicious. The French Fries were crispy, and the Parmesan Cheese gave them a great touch. The customer service was good, and the waitress was very attentive.

Came in with a group of colleagues for lunch on a weekday... they get somewhat busy at lunchtime here and rightly so... they have a great menu, loaded with tasty options and their execution is on point. Service was pretty good too. The venue itself is nicely laid out and decorated... very nice for business lunch meetings! The items we tried we all really enjoyed. I got their shrimp bowl and the shrimp was make perfectly. The rice aspect was on the dry side, but I asked for some sriracha and extra sauce they put on top and added that and it spiked up the dish nicely. Overall, nice visit! Would highly recommend!

I was traveling for work so I acting alone. Service was incredibly slow and they didn't seem busy. Food was fresh and delicious but I took 30 minutes before they came to take my order.

Family came out for the weekend and of course I did not prep for their arrival so we decided to go out for dinner together. We decided on little barn because it was only a five minute drive from where I reside and it was pouring rain this evening. We are happy with our selection because everything turned out really good. The service was very quick and our server was extremely friendly. I believe his name was Adam. We decided to try the famous pretzel and wow, it was incredible. It was warm and the cheese sauce was a perfect combo. We all enjoyed each of our meals, which are pictured below. I would recommend.

Great dinner with my aunt on Friday night. Loved sitting close to the fireplace on a cold, rainy evening. Service was great and food was delicious, as always. My aunt had the chicken pot pie - she raves about it. I had the California crispy chicken wrap with sweet potato fries. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

Came here for a group dinner and had a fantastic experience. Their menu features a large variety of wines, beers, and other drinks, and for food they have something for everyone - apps, salads, Buddha bowls, handhelds, and entrees. Prices are fair and food quality is great. I ordered the chicken pot pie for dinner and absolutely loved it! The puff pastry was perfect and the filling had large cubes of chicken in it. Service was also fantastic. Can't wait to come here again next time I'm in town!

This is a great place to go and to have a nice meal. It's relaxing and service is good. I've had the chicken pot pie and the onion soup and other things on the menu. Food is good. You can sit by the fireplace. Thank you Mary and Janelle. Highly recommend this place. There's plenty of parking outside. It's peaceful and there are a lot of people there but it's not loud. There's outdoor seating too.

What a great find. This place is spacious and has a wide ranging Meaney to keep all patrons happy. They had a great craft beer selection including a few IPAs.

This was my first time here, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It's a cute little dive bar tucked into the hillside. The parking situation wasn't great, but we found a small lot nearby, so it worked out perfectly. We were greeted right away and sat at the bar. I was surprised there was just a menu for the wings just two full pages--everything sounded so good that choosing was the hardest part. We ended up ordering three different flavors (six wings each). Caramel Soy (my pick): I knew this was going to hit, and it absolutely did. If you've ever had Korean fried chicken with a soy glaze, it had a very similar flavor profile:savory, slightly sweet, super addictive. The best part? It came with a fluffy dipping sauce. So fun. The wings were crispy and tender, easily my favorite of the night. Hot Garlic Butter (my girlfriend's pick): This one leaned more toward a classic buffalo-style sauce. Delicious, with chunks of garlic throughout. Not the most adventurous flavor, but exactly what we needed for a little spice. These wings were more heavily coated, so the skin wasn't quite as crispy, but the flavor held up. Solid 8-9/10. Cilantro Lime Tahini (our mutual pick): A bit out there for wings. I liked the flavor, but it felt better suited for a salad than chicken. Definitely our least favorite, but still not bad. 6.5/10. Overall, we'll be back--I want to try all the flavors!

I thought the parmesan butter bacon garlic sauce would be more of a sauce, but it ended up being more of a spread. Still a solid burger, just different than what I had in mind. For wings, I got the peanut butter and jelly wings, which were served with fluff, and they were so good and so unique. Definitely something I've never had before and absolutely worth trying. My boyfriend ordered the blue cheesy bacon wings, which were good, although they seemed to have no bacon. He also tried the classic hot wings, which were solid as well. I really enjoyed the laid-back vibe here and would definitely come back to try more of their crazy wing flavors -- there are just so many to choose from.

So here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on Center Street in downtown Shelton is this gem. I couldn't tell if there was a private parking lot, but I do think there may have been a small on on the side of the restaurant. We parked on the street and it wasn't a big deal. Once inside this place is very rustic, tavern-esque and I liked it. There were high ceilings and the bar is to your left once you walk in. There are seats at the bar rail and on the right side of the restaurant are lots of tables and an exposed brick wall. Then there's a 3rd side which is considered the outdoor section! There is also a bar outdoor section complete with its own bar and a lot more tables out there. Service: Emily took excellent care of us and she was awesome. It seemed as if she was running the entire restaurant by herself except for pouring drinks. She was so sweet, talkative, funny and had an awesome personality. We appreciated her. Food: So I had the chance to try 4 of their wing flavors. Let's begin. Cajun Butter = I consider this wing to be a dry rub of sorts. I mean, it's a wing, with butter on it then sprinkled with Cajun seasoning. Exactly how I like it. These were very, very good. Wasabi Ranch = Probably the best looking wing on my tray and it tasted as good as it looked. The wasabi was powerful, but not head-opening, nose-clearing powerful. Lol. The ranch was present, but not over-powering. Buffalo = Good strong smell and strong flavor. It punches you right in the mouth. Maple Buffalo = This was an odd flavor for me. Both the maple flavors and buffalo flavors are strong so in my opinion, they didn't work very well together. They overpowered each other and didn't blend very well. The wings were a little on the smaller side, but that's okay because we came on a special night, which I'll go over in the next section. Value: So on Thursdays the restaurant offer $0.75 wings with a minimum order of 6 per flavor. So the wings are a bit smaller, but it just means you can eat more and try more flavors! In conclusion, I loved this place and would really like to make my way back down here to try out some more flavors!
