Cute restaurant at airport Food took a big loner then hoped to be brought out, cocktails were amazing but super pricey. Wings were good but tasted like not fried enough Cauliflower appetizer had good flavor but batter was still goofed on inside Steak tips and steak frite was super tender and flavorful Wraps were good and nice portion but sweet Potato fries lacked crispness Service was slow but efficient They take credit card and have a parking lot read more

It's a unique experience because we got to watch planes landing and taking off. The food was good but pricey. The service was a bit slow. Bread was not offered until we asked and then had to ask for butter. We thought the server might be new. I may go back but not for awhile. read more

Good food! Came in for an early dinner, was sat by the window which was nice. Drinks were decent, somewhat strong but enjoyed. Would recommend the "Aviation" or the White Sangria. Our server, Catherine, was great! Super friendly, had recommendations and gave us time. I really enjoyed the turkey club, fry's were crispy and thick. Multiple vegan friendly options on the menu! My one note would be the hosts weren't very welcoming - more stares than greetings, which felt off and didn't leave the best impression. read more

I would give 5 stars if the service was good but unfortunately it's not. The food is outstanding. As we waited forever for a waitress we watched the manager hang out texting and doing nothing to help the staff. Every time we go, the food is excellent and the service stinks. Our waitress was very nice, but she had no help. read more

This place is beautiful. It's facing a private airport and you can watch planes take off on the strip. I called ahead to ask if there was a chance I'd see any take off during my 645 reservation but the woman on the phone says she didn't know ... and when I got there the host said the same thing. They both stated they just started working there ... and didn't bother to ask any of the other staff what the odds were. I was seated at my table after arriving, via the hostess. I waited 15 minutes for DRINKS, my server was no where in sight. Given their limited, and honestly bland menu, and the delay in the drinks, I knew I wasn't going to eat there.. let alone get my drinks. So I left without seeing my server as I walked thru the restaurant to the exit. I would never go back here for anything .. anything other than the beautiful view and I'd probably only order a soda. There's not much more to say. Place is beautiful, and that's all there is to this place. read more

Unfortunately same extremely poor service at bar, more hands on management by what I assume is the new manager but no overall changes for the better. Place needs a management/staff overhaul. At least another bartender/bar back during busy times. Probably someone with more experience in scheduling and procurement. read more

Came here with my friend on a weekday to meet up for happy hour. We got some nice mixed drinks. The white sangria was tasty. We got pizza, grilled brussel sprouts and fries to share. Everything was pretty tasty and it was cool to watch the planes take off and landing. We had a nice time. read more

This was the first time I have been there since it was restaurant 121 before the pandemic. The setup is still the same, except that it looks like they added an outdoor patio. It's nice that you are able to still see the airplanes taking off and landing. This is 100% a date location. The waitress was friendly and attentive and took our order promptly. I ordered the Volo burger w/ an "impossible burger" patty. It can on a brioche bun w/ mushrooms and sautéed onions, cheese, lettuce, tomato and an aioli dressing and a side of fries. It was very flavorful. My daughter ordered the garlic knots and a margarita pizza, they both were light and flavorful. I had a great time, it was a nice atmosphere and a quiet crowd. I definitely will be back. read more

At last. The restaurant where the old 121 has been resurrected. I knew it was open for a few months but they started to open the dinner. We went on a Wednesday night to finally check them out. The inside hasn't been changed much. The biggest difference that I saw was only tables for 2 along the window. I think I much preferred the table for 4 along the windows of the previous restaurant. Maybe they should consider putting a few table for 4 along the window? Especially for families with kids. Taylor was our server for the night and she was wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. We ordered a few goods from the menu. Wings, burger, short ribs, penne alla vodka. Everything was much better than expectations. I would say better in food quality than the previous restaurant. The tiramisu and the chocolate lava cake were exceptional. Overall I was very happy with the dinner at the new Volo. Looking forward to going again! read more

So we came in on Sept 6 for dinner with a reservation. We were NOT offered a table by the window even though requested when I called and the hostess/waitress tried to sit us THREE times on top of other tables in an empty restaurant!! As a hostess, Bartender and Server in Fine Dining around CT in a past life, this spot is NOT even trying. After we finally got a decent table (still not window) our waiter was sweet but clearly new. We waited continuously for drinks and finally asked another waitress to find him. I ordered a chicken BLT- on a slow night or any night this is NOT rocket science. When it came out it had NO BACON or lettuce- BLT WTF???? And there was a 2X2 piece of grilled chix wayyyyy over done. Our waiter never came by to check on us or get more drinks. when he came back I had not touched anything except a few fries. He did not offer me anything and took the plate and said he would talk to the manager. Here's the best part- we wait again and we he finally comes back he gives me a voucher for a future Lunch- not even anytime. IN WHAT WORLD would you think I would come back and what restaurant ever would not refund the meal??? I called a few days later and my info was taken and NEVER got a call back. I love the location on the runway but this restaurant will not be able to blame anything but themselves when they close. I really miss 121. This was Awful!!!! read more

Worst dining experience in years......don't bother going there! Went for Mother's Day at 4:00 p.m. and the food and especially the service was among the worst I've experienced in years......anywhere. They ran out of specials (again it's 4:00 in the afternoon) they took over 30 minutes to bring FRIES and got 3 of the 5 meals wrong. Horrible experience read more

We live very close to the airport and loved 121 so was very exited when a surprise new restaurant opened. Came on a nice summer day for lunch and seated near the window had a nice view of a few planes landing. Food was all excellent and portions were very large. The truffle sauce was a bit different than most places truffle sauces but was ace and worth going back just for that. Looking forward to come back when they have full dinner service and alcohol. I wish them the best of luck. read more

We haven't been here since 121 hoping it's as good or better. Glad they didn't change the inside to much great views. They added an outdoor area as well. Husband ordered the bang bang shrimp and cocktail I ordered the filet mignon Waitress was a little slow we had to wait for our drinks she was both outside and inside a little to much Food was GREAT Didn't have dessert because we were full and wanted ice cream instead But we will be back read more

Never been there before. Right around the corner from my favorite brewery OEC. Took the back way around the small airport and that was an adventure. There is a faster way in there. Great views! Watch the sunset at the airport. Good food too! Service was friendly.

To bad you can't eat the scenery, because the food was mediocre at best. Dinner on a Friday night at 7:30, plenty of available seating, very friendly service staff but untrained. Dinner was poorly prepared and flavorless, web page and menu is misleading. An average sandwich shop at best. read more

My family and I used to love the former 121 Restaurant, so we were very excited to go back for a big family dinner before Christmas. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and it was a treat to get to enjoy the Oxford airport runway again. They had some festive drinks for the holiday, and though they took a little long to make, we let it go. Appetizers arrived, and all were good, though the garlic knots could've been a bit softer, and the complimentary bread was ice cold like it had just come out of the fridge. We arrived at 6 for our reservation and didn't receive our dinners until nearly 7:30pm, and though it was a Sunday night before Christmas, the restaurant only had a few tables. The waitress apologized profusely and explained that most of their chefs were on vacation and that there were only 2 people back there cooking. We were shocked to hear that management wouldn't have planned this better, or maybe not have allowed us to make a reservation for 7 people knowing they were this understaffed. My poor dad waited long after everyone had received their meals to finally receive his scallop special, and my mother in law ordered the Buddha bowl, and the rice was so hard that it seemed to be day old, or had to have been sitting out for quite a while. She only took a few bites and sent it back to the kitchen, deciding not to order anything else. Everything else was okay, but we weren't blown away. I honestly would've given this review a 2 start rating, but our server really went out of her way to make it right in the end, and we were very appreciative of that. She took the scallops off the bill for the terribly long wait, as well as the Buddha bowl since my mother in law sent it back. They also took off the first round of drinks for the long wait for dinner, and she waived the automatic gratuity for larger parties. It's rare to find a restaurant that will own their mistakes to this extent and make it up to the customer. For this reason, I would consider giving Volo another chance. While I feel the service may be better on a second visit, I'm not so sure about the food. I know they're newer but I hope they can improve. read more

Sunday October 26, 2025 at 6:30, walked in and let the hostess know I was siting at the bar for a drink and dinner service. She acknowledged affirmatively. Waited 15 minutes with no bartender or anyone that may be a bartender insight, I was the only bar patron. The restaurant was moderately busy but not to have a full time bartender incompetent on management behalf In response to you're answer: Jonni, Thank you for the quick response. You had two (2) servers on staff, not a full time bartender insight. The two women sitting at the high top in the bar confirmed this. Let's all work to be better, no excuses for just two people on staff on a Sunday unless there are other reasons. As I'm sure you're aware in the 20th century most people of all ages have gravitated to bar seating, dining and service. You were understaffed and no full time bartender was a mistake OR only one server scheduled was. Bottom line: let's do better! read more

Ordered a glass of Chardonnay with my meal. Didn't specify a particle one nor was I asked. Chardonnay was warm and flat, I actually put ice in it. My husband payed the bill and upon arriving home asked if I knew I ordered a $17 glass of wine. I guess if you don't specify you get the most expensive. Which I wouldn't mind but I've ordered Chardonnay enough to know the difference between a good Chardonnay and a mediocre, and this was below a mediocre. Was telling a friend and he had the same experience: happy hour martini, he was charged the magic number $17. Unfortunate because the location is great. read more

Great little spot and you get to watch the plans take off and come in right outside your window. Also has a very cute patio out back.

The restaurant is beautiful! I'm glad that they revamped the former 121 restaurant. Their menu was a mix of American and Italian food; from our group, half the group loved their dishes and the other half found the food to be decent. I think they stood out more on the dessert but it was still a good place for a standard dinner. They also have a nice bar! read more

Fresh and delicious! Great views. Nice happy hour menu. Perfect for family dinner, date or take out!

We flew up for a birthday dinner tonight after calling to check on if they could accommodate my food allergy. They assured us they could after being told exactly what it was. Upon arrival, they found excuses for me to not eat anything on the menu except shrimp cocktail. The final straw was when I asked specifically about maybe just getting getting French fries and that was when I was finally told "the chef doesn't feel comfortable..." and I requested a manager. Quite awhile later no manager shows up so we decided to cut our losses and leave, that is when we found out the manager had *just* left without coming to the table. Apparently they just lied to us over the phone and after the considerable expense of flying there, left me without an actual meal. We had eaten there when it was 121 many times with no problems. Apparently now they cannot handle a food allergy. If they had told us that when we called we wouldn't have wasted the time and fuel to go there. read more

We went because there was a great specials menu. We were seated and never told that absolutely everything on that menu was unavailable! The waitress was great and it certainly wasn't her fault. The manager definitely needs to do better. With so many restaurants around, this is one we won't go back to! The meals we did get were nothing great. read more

Thrilled. Went to Happy Hour! Great drinks made by the nicest bartender Ari! Great drink! Then enjoyed the most delicious pizza margarita. Thin crust . Very much like the NYC pizza style. Excellent cheese. I noted wine was 5 dollars a glass Last night 4 of us returned. We had an excellent waitress Brianna? She was funny and very attentive . The salmon special was delicious. A plumb sauce with Asian fried rice and sugar snap peas. My friend had a steak he loved. My husband the Volo burger. Dessert is made in house, delicious. We cannot wait to go back and try the Budda bowl. The Brussels spouts were amazing . read more

At first, we were delighted to be back at this great location for dining under new ownership. Unfortunately our small group of 4 adults, a toddler and an infant ended up disappointing. The wine that was served was noticeably a bottle that had been opened for a while and was stale. So we asked for a new bottle to be opened. Two classic burgers ordered (very good) a salmon dinner and a steak. Our meat dinners were served in a timely fashion and we started to eat and had already finished our dinner as my husband waited patiently for his salmon (good thing he ordered an appetizer). We flagged down our waitress only to find out she forgot to place the salmon order! Fifteen minutes later he received his salmon (very good) but it was 40 minutes after he placed his original order with the rest of us.The place was not crowded at all and there seemed to be plenty of staff. Maybe she was a new waitress, if so, waitresses typically stop by shortly after food is served and ask how everything is and she did not. When we received our bill, we were automatically charged a 20% tip for our "large party of 6". The fact that they included the infant was pretty petty IMHO. No compensation in the error of forgetting to place the salmon order either. If they want to stay in business they need to polish their act. read more

Made reservation for 13 on a Friday afternoon at 1:00 (after lunch rush and before Happy Hour) and was greeted by the sole waitress... We all enjoyed our food (pizzas, salads and pastas?- grilled shrimp on Caesar was amazing!). Major drawback in my mind was waitress had no assistance. Service and Ambiance is the best part of the formerly 121 restaurant, now Volo. Staff were friendly and polite, this is the reason for three stars. Has for the food... not so much. Everything seemed from Sysco, except for the pizza dough (which they were rolling out). At the old restaurant, 121, everything was made in house and was fresh tasting! Sadly would not be back as it's a drive and the food isn't worth the drive out there. read more
