I have tried a lot of salons in the valley. This was the cleanest place I've visited. They also had some of the most expensive options for mani/pedi's I've seen that weren't in a hotel or on a cruise ship. Basic pedi is $25 but it includes hot stone massage. The most expensive pedi I seen was $70- I wish I had the $$ to try it:) Eyebrow wax is $10 so not every price is jacked up. As far as gel/shellac colors: They have the most I've seen one nail salon have. They are friendly and do a great job. What did I like best?? Booked appointment last minute and they accommodated 2 of us for pedicures. Great quality of work. My technician took time to detail my toes polish and hubs got a lot more time with foot massage via au natural. They threw in a hot stone even though it was a basic pedicure. Nice touch! I stumbled onto this gem through Yelp!! What a treasure! I have been driving into Scottsdale to another great establishment but I have recently moved towards Glendale area so it was getting to be too much time invested! After an appointment I thought I will check some reviews of local nails salons in the area-this one had great reviews (and yes I read them all)! And I looked at the photos (again very important)! Then to my pleasure it was just 15 minutes from me!! I had to investigate! I hit the Mother Load of choices in polish in gels, darling painting skills and wonderful friendly service!! I was offered a soda, shown a menu- which read like a cocktail menu!! Fantastic scrubs with complimenting lotions for a aromatherapy effect!! My pedicure and manicure were both gels so a bit more but worth it for staying power! With tips included it was $110 but well worth it cause I left feeling like a Million!!! Excellent job! It's amazing when you step into another dimension just to realize you haven't left the original dimension you're already in. I say this because it seems like humans want the most outlandish, ridiculous things done for them, but fail horribly to realize that the ones providing the service are human as well. I came to this nail spa twice. The first time the woman who gave me an SNS manicure, had no idea how to use her electric filing tool and created so much friction on my nailbed that each finger burned to the point I had to pull my hand back away from her. Then she would move onto the next finger and it would happen again and so on. I've never had that happen anywhere since the early 90s when people were just learning how to use those tools. Ultimately, the finished product looked quite nice so I decided to try the salon again, but I asked to see a different person. Wouldn't you know that the new girl, I later found out, was trained by the original girl, so I actually experienced the same issue again. Once again the finished product was very nice but I don't need to suffer for a manicure so I don't plan on going back. On the positive side, the salon was very nice on the inside, very clean, the owner upfront was very nice and offered beverages to all of his customers. I asked for the best person they had based on my issue of being able to naw through most nails. And she took me on. She is fabulous. I've been coming to Your Nails & Spa for about three years now. Marc and Jenn are the owners and take such great care of their customers. I'm always greeted and asked if I'd like something to drink (water, soda, coffee, boba from next door, etc). I've had services with multiple technicians but my favorite is Nina! She's the best! (No offense Jenn haha) Nina is super attentive and always asks how I'm doing. Some days I talk to her a lot and some days I say hello and ask how she's doing then I'm silent the rest of the time. She just lets me be but always checks in to make sure the service is going well and that I like everything. By the way, she's the best at attacking my ingrown toenails (gross but necessary!) and she gives the best massages :) This is one of the best salons I've been to. Was a walk-in with my daughter. I love they have discounted pricing for kids under 12. Price for both was what I expected for just me. I didn't get asked what level of pedi I wanted, they just gave me basic but I wasn't offended or bothered because I assume it was to not make my daughter wait around. Decent job, no complaints. Wasn't outstanding, it was basic. I rated 5 because it is what it is and I think it's what I wanted for a great price. If I wanted more I'd have gone to a 4-5 diamond spa. I am so beyond upset right now!!! Richard has been doing my acrylic fills for a few months and they have been great. I had to get them removed today for professional reasons - no problem. Richard removed the nails and I experienced no pain. He was wonderful! Now to the basic mani and pedi I got next... I don't know the name of the woman who "assisted" me but it was awful. First she did the manicure and aggressively pulled on my cuticle enough to line my entire nail with blood. That hurt. Bad! Next was the pedi - I should have just left at this point but my feet had already been soaking and I felt stuck. I ended up with a sloppy paint job. I am posting pictures to show my experience, but I am incredibly upset that I just forked over $50 for a manicure that I didn't even get nail polish with because my bleeding finger hurt, and a pedicure with a shabby paint job. Love this place! I tried Your Nails when I first moved to the north side in early 2016 and they quickly became one of my favorite nail salons. I made the mistake of using another salon about a week before Christmas that year. The gel was cracking and peeling within days, so I stopped here on Christmas Eve just to see if anyone could squeeze me in just to remove it. Even though they were crazy busy, Richard waved me over for a new gel manicure, assuring me that he could make the time. It's two years later, and I have been back every few weeks since! They are a little busier now, so I recommend making appointments on the weekends, especially if you want nail art or acrylics. read more

I made an appointment about 1 1/2 hours out of my reservation and requested for my mani and pedi to be done at the same time. They were able to accommodate. They have A large selection of specialty pedicures for different budgets. The technicians were helpful and helped with recommendations for different services. And they use QUALITY products. They even insisted I take a bottled water for the road. After I left, I had to rethink why I even stopped coming here. I enjoyed it but I tried a few more nails places in the area and quickly realized I had found my place at Your Nails and Spa. I started to give them all of my business and never thought twice. Mark is truly exceptional and very welcoming. He remembers the clients by name and checks in with you throughout your visit to make sure everything is going well. Their prices are reasonable and I always walk out very happy with my nails. I get gel manis and a pedicure every visit and every experience has been perfect. Their basic pedicure comes with a hot stone massage and they do not skimp on the massage! It's the best part and I've never felt like I got jipped. Oh and they always stay on top of trends and offer the hottest colors like mermaid, neon, cat eye, and glitter. I refer people there all the time and bring friends with me any chance I get. If you are looking for a nail place this is your spot!! They can get busy on the weekends so you can't always be seen on walk in basis. So call ahead. Visiting from Seattle. Got mani/pedis. Very sanitary and beautiful place. Got shellac which apparently is $15 more than the already $65 pedicure cost (which no offense, is pretty ridiculous). Nails turned out great, except everything started chipping a day after we were there. Pretty sucky to spend high dollar prices and it lasts less than a day or so. read more

I just left I had a great pedicure experience. I also asked to get my finger nails done. I showed them a picture online of an ombré white tip look. Super simple they said the could do it. It's was done so bad I asked to get a polish on top. There was No ombré technique applied, just a horrible horrible inconsistent french tip under all this glitter. And on top of that I still paid $35 they said normally this would be $50. I would have been happier if they could of just been ho eat and said no we can't do that, we don't have any one that can do that technique. The acrylic was not even cleaned off my nails/ and fingers they told me to use lotion. The worst nail place I've ever been to. Do not recommend ever. read more

The salon was very clean. The decor was simple and elegant. I was offered teas, soda, or water immediately from the beautiful bar area. I had a very large selection of colors to choose from as I waited a very short amount of time. And was updated on approximately how long that wait would be, by the very nice front desk gentleman. That was nice. The prices were very clear in the menu books that were similar to fine dinning restaurants. Then as we began my new set I was again confirmed with what I was getting done and how much. No tricks! I was impressed with the speed and quality of the work. My nails are even. Not to thick or thin and painted beautiful. Well worth the hard earned money I make for this treat. Saw the great reviews and decided to give this place a try. LOCATION/AMBIANCE: It wasn't in the greatest area of Phoenix. Looked like a run down strip mall. The interior was nice and clean but I wouldn't say it had a "spa-like" relaxing atmosphere. SERVICE: Called for a last minute pedi/mani. Spoke with the owner (husband) to get in asap. He was very friendly and accommodated my appointment time. His wife was friendly too. She greeted and took me to the pedi spa chair to soak my feet while I waited for the pedi tech. Pedi was done by a male (forgot his name. It wasn't the owner.) He nipped my skin twice with the cuticle remover. It was a painful and unpleasant experience. Gel-mani was done by Tracy but she was busy so the owner/wife said she would wrap my nails to prep removal of old gel-polish for Tracy who was finishing up with previous client. She started filing down the old gel polish but didn't bother to put a towel down on my lap so there was gel polish dust all over my BLACK pants (you can imagine what that looked like). Tracy did an ok job. Typically, I can go 2.5 to 3 weeks before next gel- mani appointment but her gel polish was so poor that by 1.5 weeks, it was already lifting. Though they are friendly, the quality is quite lacking. They may be slightly cheaper than the other ones I've been to around the neighborhood, it's not worth especially if I have to redo them in a week and a half. This is the best place I have ever been. I sadly had to move out of town, but every time I'm home I come back. Jennifer is the best nail tech I have ever had. She listens to what you want and is always honest if she can or can't do a design. Her husband works the front desk and is always helpful, friendly and makes you feel like family. I was really impressed with this place. I've been WAY too busy lately to get in for nail maintenance so this weekend I forced myself to get a mani/pedi. I've tried a few places in the valley before but no salon has made me want to go back. 1. List of manicures and pedicures is awesome. A ton of different combos available at all different price points. 2. The place is clean, quiet, and classy. Not easy to say that about MOST nail salons. 3. The owner welcomed me and took care of getting me started, knowing it was my first visit. 4. Tracy did my nails and she is AWESOME. Not only is her work good but she is fast without rushing and she is just super sweet. 5. I was honestly shocked at the dollar amount my bill came to after the AMAZING pedicure I got from Tracy. I would have paid much more! I am so happy to say I have found I place I will not only go back to but that I would actually recommend to other people. I would give zero stars if I could. I go in here to get my nails fixed (3 of them have broken, already got one fixed at another salon). I say I have 2 broken nails and the owner asks if I'm Sarah. Then he proceeds to yell at me in front of a salon full of customers because I wrote him a 2 star review on Yelp. He tells me that it's not fair to the business and that I'm not consistent because I've been here before and didn't write them a good review. But in the past they cracked my thumb nail (literally in the middle, cracked it open)... So that would've been a bad review too. He seriously stands there and argues with me because he's sooo butthurt that he didn't get a good review and tries to blame the broken nails on the other salon. When the real reason they're breaking is because the nail tech buffed all my acrylic super thin. Oh, he also tries to blame the broken nails on the length of my nails and that it's totally normal for nails to break in your sleep... Lol, ok. I told him I've had my nails this way for years so that argument is irrelevant. THEN, this is the best part, he tells me if I write another bad review they won't do my nails anymore because I'm too "hard". I'm a nice customer. Never have complained. Always been nice. Always tip WAY more than they deserve. The owner showed me how unprofessional and unworthy this salon really is. And I'm sure he will try to reply to this review and redeem himself but don't be fooled, he doesn't actually care about his customers. He cares about Yelp reviews. So, here's your second bad review.
