Small mom and pop shop! Good service and ambience with plenty of seating. Our favorite part of the meal was the complimentary broth served which was so warm and yummy. I got the naengmyeon while my friend got their tofu soup. Although not the best I've had and the portion was a little small, it was still really good and I enjoyed my meal! The banchan was extremely good as well. I recommend trying. :)

We went to Yoo's Place with a huge party. The food came out delicious and in a timely matter despite the amount we ordered. I especially loved the warm bone broth they served at no extra cost. I've never had anything like that before and it felt very homey. My favorite dish was definitely the ribs with cheese. I love that it was so cheesy and that they cut up the meat from the bones for you. Though the meat was so tender that it might not have mattered, but a nice gesture indeed. The cold noodle soups were so comforting and a great complement to the ribs!

Please send ambience is very nice. Very clean. Banchan is not bad. Cold noodles were very good. Some places serve cold modeled that are too heavy in vinegar. This one is not. Service is very friendly. Bulgogi was very good. Their jajiong noodles are good too. Not too salty.

This is my 3rd time at Yoo's place. I gotta say, their food is so consistent and Delicious! 10/10. No.1 for me is the Hotpot with Shortrib and potato. We ordered a medium and they gave a generous portion. The flavor is so unique, savory and tangey broth. It was served with chewy vermicilli. Also recommend: Bossam, Tobbokki and ramen. I also tried their Bulgogi before and it was amazing too. The service was fast though the restaurant was always busy.

Jjajjangmyeon Glossy, savory, and dangerously good... Bring a bib or wear black...

《냉면으로 시작된 가족사》 -- 제6회 Bossam Redemption & The Take-Out Salvation April 23, 2024 -- Bossam Redemption We finally ordered the bossam. And immediately realized this dish was not meant for amateurs. Three rows of thick-cut pork belly, glistening like it just descended from pork heaven itself. Juicy. Tender. Ridiculously satisfying. Wrap it in cabbage and then the flavor avalanche hits: %@#&*!... Eyes roll back. Cabbage crunch. Shrimp brine punch. Nutty ssamjang. Raw garlic kick. Jalapeño heat. Anger. Tears. Joy. All at the same time. It's too #$&@ good*. Then came the spicy pork bulgogi (dwaeji bulgogi) -- served sizzling on a hot stone plate. And I mean sizzling. I even filmed it because dat sizzle though. Greasy. Spicy. Onion-loaded. Exactly what this dish should be. And importantly -- not overly sweet like some places that try to westernize Korean food. Yeah... Yoo's Place isn't doing that. They're just cooking real Korean food. Fast forward.... June 18, 2025 -- Survival Mode Kids get bigger. Sleep gets rarer. Life gets louder. This was one of those days where nobody had energy for anything, so I swung by Yoo's Place after work to grab takeout for the family. Honestly it's worth the drive no matter where you're coming from -- even if you pass ten other Korean restaurants on the way. Right before leaving I paused at the doorway. Turned around. Closed my eyes. Took one deep breath. Just filling my lungs with that home-cooked Korean comfort smell before heading back into the chaos. Then I walked out carrying a bag full of happiness for my exhausted wife and my two slightly feral children. (Next time I may add a bottle of soju for mental health purposes.) Also -- I think I met the daughter of the owners when picking up the order. First time noticing her there -- she might be the one running their Instagram lately. Super friendly. Super welcoming. Worthy mention.... 그리고... "와 완전 연예인급이네... 아이돌인 줄 알았잖아. 진짜 예쁘시다 대박." (whispers: just in case my wife reads this review... she doesn't speak Korean ) Luna is now 7. Jameson is almost 2. Mid service (but they're just busy), comforting food, acceptable cleanliness, great price, GREAT BANCHAN! Things that stood out to me: their banchan selection and they serve warm bone broth to drink upon arrival. I love kabocha squash so that banchan was my favorite. Fish cakes a bit too salty. Spicy cold noodle is standard, noodles perfectly chewy. Fried chicken platter had the perfect acidic dressing and the salad balanced it out very well. Mandu ddeok & the tofu stew were both comforting during cold weather. Would definitely come again to try their huge menu selection. Next time, hopefully servers are more friendly and our spoons are clean

Yoo's Place is a paradise for Korean food lovers. With one of the most comprehensive, diverse Korean menus, Yoo's Place offers amazing flavors in a tucked away business plaza off Jamboree. Parking can be a hassle in this small plaza so it's best to go straight to the basement parking if you're short on time. For my first visit, I got to try quite a spread, and not a single dish disappointed. To start, their banchan spread had a great variety including kimchi, fishcake, bean sprouts, and a really delicious pumpkin with what tasted like onion cream. You also get a little thermos filled with beef broth for a little cup of comfort to go with your meal. As for the food, I got to try these memorable bites this visit: Tangsuyuk, with chewy, crispy pork with a tangy sweet and sour sauce. A great hit at the table. It was almost gone despite our feast. Yuringi chicken, with extra crispy fried chicken cutlets topped with peppers on a bed of cabbage pooled with a tart soy based sauce. This was so addictive, I could not stop reaching for another bite. Rice cake soup with dumplings. Their take on this classic dish reminds me of the kind of home cooking that makes you want to go out to eat. With a milky bone broth, tender rice cakes, and incredible mandu boiled to perfection and filled plump to the brim with tender meat. And their mung bean pancake was so crisp on the outside while being moist and so flavorful on the inside. I was blown away by how delicious each bite of every dish I tried was here. My only regret is I couldn't fit more bites in this one meal. I can't wait to try the rest of their massive menu. Highly recommended.

I discovered Yoo's Place when I went to the spa next door. When I was done with my treatment, I was hungry and this looked like the best dinner option in the plaza. Best spontaneous discover ever! For those looking for parking, there is an underground parking structure for the plaza. Upon entering, staff welcomed me into a half booth. I really like that they have all of the dishes, utensils, water, cups, napkins so you can grab whatever you need. The menu looks incredible. They have all of my Korean favorites like naengmyun, tofu soup, galbi, and kalguksu. I decided to get the #67 LA Galbi + Soon Tofu Combo, where I opted for the Beef Tofu Soup mild. The waitress brought over side dishes and purple rice. Yay I love purple rice. They also left something else on the table but I didn't know what it was. Later on, Becky, who seemed to be in a management role, came over and asked me if it was my first time at their restaurant. Wow I must look new. She told me that the container had their beef bone broth, and you can pour it into a cup and drink it. Wow! This broth is INCREDIBLE! That alone was enough for me to come back. The galbi came out really quickly and the tofu soup came out soon after. The galbi was well marinated and tasty. The tofu soup had a deep broth flavor that is superior to any other tofu soup places in the area. It tasted really healthy and clean but flavorful. Just when I thought I couldn't possibly love this place more... Becky brought out sample portions of their naengmyun, or cold noodles. She said it was their house special and she really wanted all the first timers to try it. She dropped it off at another table too who had first timers. Wow this was SO DELICIOUS. I love naengmyun and this is one of the best I've had. The only thing I didn't love was their side dishes. I actually declined refills, which is a first for me. But everything else was so good, the positives outweigh the slight blemish. Definitely coming back soon. It will be so hard deciding between what I already tried and love or trying the kalguksu. What an amazing restaurant!

We were excited to try this place in a mall that has so much great food options to begin with. Menu is very extensive which is not always a good sign when it comes to Korean food. Banchan had a nice variety and the bean sprouts were excellent. A small issue is the kimchi itself was older and you know that as it's more sour and less firm. Soon dobu was excellent. Well balanced heat and deep rich broth. Tang Su Yuk was a massive portion , great for sharing. It was good but had slightly too much breading. I agree with some comments here about the staff friendliness which is rather lacking. Still overall a good meal , not LA level but still good

My boyfriend and I pulled up on a Sunday night around ~7pm and there was a bit of wait. There were 4 parties ahead of us. When we were eventually seated, we were quickly taken care of. I overheard a conversation taking place with the restaurant owner and someone in line; I think the lady who took care of us is the owner's daughter? Anyways, the food was seasoned well and flavorful. Service was even better. I liked the bone broth they served in a thermos. Overall, I would return and I'm very happy to support a family owned business.

Rating 8.5/10 First time trying this place and it was great! The inside of the restaurant was lively and the staff were very attentive. I ordered the kalbi, jiajiang noodles, and fried squid. Everything was very fresh and authentic. It was so much food, then halfway thru my meal the owner told me I needed to try the cold noodles, and she gave it to me on the house! I could tell they cared about their food and their customer service. Would definitely recommend!

One of the better Korean restaurants in Irvine. I especially enjoy their Jokbal(pig feet) and their cold noodles. Every time I went the owner was there making sure every table was satisfied with their meals. You can tell they truly care about each dish they serve. The banchans are delicious and food comes out pretty quick. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a true home cooked meal.

First off, valet parking is nonexistent here, it's just a parking lot with additional parking so be not afraid. I was deterred for a moment expecting strangers to drive your car and having to tip them... was too hungry to deal with any and all of that so thank Yoo! Second, authentic Korean food, from instantly refilled banchan to hot broth in a thermos on every table, all the utensils and covers on the spoons, you don't need anything else but to order. The food arrives fresh and fast. Unlike a lot of other places these guys don't just prioritize to go/online orders. There's a decent amount of vegetarian friendly dishes for pretty much every kind of entree or appetizer and my own Korean mom to mix up my bibimbap as it sizzles in the hot stone pot. Good japchae, with or without the beef. Looking forward to returning on empty stomach.

We've been here several times before and what keeps us coming back is the quality of the food. Today, they had a new chef cook our food and it was terrible. Green beans were extremely sour (way way too much vinegar). Mapo Tofu had a ton of oil but not enough sauce, so it was just flavorless except the oil. The fried pork chop was over fried where some pieces you can't even bite through. The rice had too much water in it and was mushy. I rarely return food but this time it was so bad we had to let them know. We returned all of our dishes back to them. They let us know there was a new chef today, and they would remake all the dishes for us with the original chef. The replacement dishes were just as good as all our previous visits and it was excellent again! So thanks to the staff for fixing the problem. I'm not sure if they are training a new chef to take over, or as a backup, but they need to be careful as serving bad quality food like that would drive most people to never come back. We knew the food was good from prior experience, so we knew we could ask why the food quality changed. For first time customers, or those that may have ordered to go - if you had bad food today, it may have been a fluke due to the new chef. Service however was a amazing as usual. For all our visits including today, the staff has been kind and always looking for ways to help out and make sure we were having a good experience. So besides the food being good, I would say excellent service is also huge plus here. Don't be fooled with the automated ordering and robot delivering the food into thinking there is no service. The people behind the counter are awesome! Hope management takes care of this new chef issue quickly since their food quality is the main reason people come here. There was a night and day difference between the original food we got today, and the replacement!

Modern Chinese, Ancient Disappointment…read more EverSpring looks great, sounds great, and is priced like it plans to deliver something memorable. Unfortunately, what I'll remember most is how quickly my excitement turned into polite disappointment. The salt and pepper pork chops were...bold. And by bold I mean shockingly salty, like the chef was trying to preserve them for winter. I've had salt and pepper chops more times than I can count, and this version tasted nothing like any of them. Overcooked, oddly flavored, and just completely off. If this was a creative interpretation, creativity may have gone a step too far. Then there was the crispy beef. I say this with sincerity: it was inedible. Not "I'm picky" inedible--burned-breading-that-tastes-like-toasted-mistakes inedible. Each bite delivered a charming note of scorched regret, like someone deep-fried a crouton and called it a day. I stopped eating not because I was full, but because my taste buds filed an HR complaint. And look, if this were cheap comfort food, I'd shrug it off. But this is sit-up-straight-when-the-bill-arrives pricing. For what we paid, I expected at least one dish to make me say, "Okay, this works." That moment never came. The concept is solid, but the food just didn't deliver. I wanted to love it. My taste buds, however, requested an early exit. Everything went to the trash can. Never again.

There were a few featured items that seemed to be what most people were ordering. I went with the flow and ordered one of the top items, the Ma Hu Beef Noodles. They were definitely interesting, as the flavor profile wasn't something I had experienced before. I'm no noodle connoisseur, but it was easy to tell they were fresh. They had that lighter, slightly chewy texture that stands out compared to the usual. On a random weekday they had a good crowd for lunch, mostly office types from the surrounding buildings. It wasn't hard to get a table, but the food did take a bit longer than expected to come out. Pricewise you aren't looking at a bargain, but it's not unreasonable. I imagine parking might be difficult if it is more crowded as there are a limited number of spots in the parking lot and it has a funky one-way design. Overall this is a decent lunch spot if you're nearby and something different from the norm. Four solid stars.

This has long been our go-to for Taiwanese comfort food, and while the flavors weren't always 100% authentic, they hit the spot. However, our recent visits have been disappointing. The restaurant has become incredibly "penny-pinching" with their service. I was recently told there would be a $1 charge just for a sprinkle of scallions and another $1 for a small side of clear broth for my dry noodles--requests that were never an issue before. Furthermore, when we ordered extra noodles for my son's beef noodle soup, the original portion seemed intentionally smaller, defeating the purpose of paying for the add-on. Between the degraded service and the "nickel-and-diming" atmosphere, it is no longer worth the 30-minute drive. The vibe has changed, and the pleasure of dining here is gone.

Luckily I got sat in their few middle tables that were spacious. I was able to order quickly and the workers are nice and gave me recommendations. Passion fruit green tea and this was definitely my favorite thing I ordered that day the drink was so light, refreshing, flavorful, but not too sweet the passion fruit seeds being in the drink was annoying though. (4/5) Spicy XLB they came out quick but I wished they were hotter they were just warm but delicious flavor and filling sadly was not spicy though no kick no heat at all. (3/5) Beef rolls nice and crispy lots of scallions and the cucumbers added a nice fresh aspect and crunch but needed more sauce. (3/5) Pan fried dumplings took the longest to come out were crispy but not that flavorful again very filling though. (2/5) Golden prime beef noodle soup I'm sorry but this was just not for my taste at all I can't even describe what flavor the soup was something I have never had before very unique. The noodles were nice and chewy but again I'm expecting soup to be hot but it just came out warm. (1/5) They had some sauce and chili oil on the table and I made a mix but it did not help add flavor to any of the items. I ordered too much and the leftover beef rolls and pan fried dumplings reheated well in the air fryer.

Massive parking lot so that was easy, one friend went ahead and let them know we had 10 incoming. They made room and we sat immediately. One of the spots that you scan a menu at the table and you review, order and pay all in the app. I was really not familiar with the line up and went with the "House Special Beef Pot Roodle" (Roodles are their rice noodles). It was a weekend only item and I tried that. The noodles came separate from the soup. Over all it was very tasty. The meat was a bit fatty and the soup had tendons too. I took that part home and my wife loved it. I tend to avoid the fatty meat and tendons are not good to me. 10 of us so some of the appetizers got passed around. The smashed cucumbers are excellent, and my buddy also got some friend potatoes of sorts, reminded me of a fat French fry. Because my buddy and I sat at the same table we scanned the same menu, he ordered a bunch of stuff and also House Special Beef Pot Roodle. That confused the kitchen and they asked me if I meant to order 2, I said no and didn't realize I cancelled my buddy's order. Part of the confusion of a large party and many scanned menu orders. My buddy was struggling to order and our initial waiter seemed to not understand my friend and that took a little bit to work out, young lady came from the back and was able to quickly resolve some of the confusion and get questions answered as needed. In the end he had lot of food to explore. One thing that caught my eye was several couples there and sharing a large soup item served with a tray of various food items for the soup. Kind of a date night visual and something that looked very interesting. Several couples around us had that same dish and its got me more curious. Might have to come back with my wife and try this one.

I ordered their most popular dish, the A1 set, but honestly, it didn't really live up to the hype for me. The broth tasted pretty underseasoned overall. From what I understood, you're supposed to mix all the toppings into the soup with the noodles, but even after doing that, I still felt like the flavor was lacking. Yes, they provide seasoning on the side, but personally, I wish the broth already had enough flavor on its own without needing to adjust it myself. Would I come back? Probably not. Nothing really stood out to me enough to return, and it felt more like a one-time experience. Overall, everything was just okay.
