Great poke bowls and small asian plates in the Seaport area. We had 2 poke bowls and one orange chicken small plate. Poke bar was super fresh and had salmon on one and spicy salmon on the other. Poke was tasty and flavorful and as great as any in LA or Hawaii. Our poke bowls looked better than the small plates, though I will admit the Lo Mein noodles looked tempting. The orange chicken was tasty and as great as any Panda in all the many airports I've been through and in West LA.

Convenient and small location in Seaport. I ordered via the app and the pick up was actually very easy. I was taking advantage of the buy one get one medium plate combo. As some reviews have mentioned, the flavors are fairly bland and a bit greasy it was filling, but nothing to write home about. The cabbage was overcooked the Thai basil chicken was OK but not spicy enough in my book. The spicy tofu, brussels sprouts was also a bit lacking in terms of spiciness and somewhat off putting flavors. Overall, the value sort of balances out with the underwhelming flavors of the meal.

Had a craving for a sushi burrito and decided to try Yoki Express in Seaport. I have not tried their bowls yet, so this review is solely regarding my experience with their sushi burritos. I ordered a custom build your own burrito with: white rice, salmon & crab for protein, corn, seaweed salad, pineapple, jalapeño, mixed greens, tobiko, crispy flakes, furikake, with sweet soy sauce + spicy mayo. I wish that they provided more sushi rice but am happy that they packed my burrito with all the good stuff. My burrito was too wet & the seaweed wrapping the burrito did not hold up well. The burrito fell apart and had to eat it with a fork. When I unwrapped the paper from the burrito to eat, I noticed that there was not much seaweed holding everything & was extremely messy. Not the best experience for the burrito, 4/10. Most likely would not come back.

Previous review for poke was good. Loved it. Decided to get the Chinese food and was so disappointed. Beef and broccoli I only got 2 pieces of beef not even exaggerating. Orange chicken has a very weird fried oily flavor. Chow mein is super oily with like 0 flavor. Like seriously waste of $$

Amazing amazing amazing. Always great portion sizes! One of my fav poke spots in the city. I also love their Rangoons which is so random but it's true. The ramen was nothing special but was good. The sushi burrito was HUGE

What I ordered: Lobster Rangoon Small Plate- Walnut Shrimp & Fried Rice Bowl- White Rice, Premium Ahi, Salmon, Corn, Seaweed Salad, Avocado, Mixed Green, Sriracha Mayo and Sweet Soy Sauce, Edamame, Tobiko, Bonito Seaweed Furikake, Crispy Flakes Burrito- White Rice, Salmon, Tuna, Mixed Green, Avocado, Carrot, Cucumber, Wasabi Mayo, Creamy Sesame Sauce, Edamame, Tobiko, Jalapeño Peppers, Bonito Seaweed Furikake = highly recommend The food is alright but the poke bowl is worth definitely worth it. It's a quick grab and go in you're in a rush or just need something quick. I personally don't like the burrito as much just cause it does fall apart from both ends.

2x lunch plates (lo mein, chicken teriyaki, and orange chicken) and spring rolls

There's nothing super outstanding about the lunch plates at Yoki express, but it's a really solid and good value meal. I can't speak for their poke, which it looks like a lot of people enjoy, but I ordered a Chinese/Polynesian plate which ended up giving me 2 full meals. Lunch plate ($11.50) - This is a really great deal. The lo mein isn't the tastiest, but they give you a lot of volume, and the chicken teriyaki also was a large portion. The orange chicken was probably a normal amount, but the total amount of food for $11.50 is a really great deal. The lo mein is just veggies and noodles, and while the flavor wasn't too deep, it was filling and not too oily. The chicken teriyaki was quite good, however, and it was very juicy and a little smoky. It had the nice sweet and tangy flavor that food court chicken teriyaki has, so no complaints here. The orange chicken was also still crispy despite it being delivery which was a nice surprise. Spring rolls ($3.00) - Not sure this was entirely worth it since the spring rolls were a bit small. The sauce was also a bit strange - instead of sweet chili or duck sauce, it tasted a little like sweet chili mixed with tabasco. The actual spring roll was nice and crispy, but I'd rather have 3 rolls for $4.00 or 4 for $5. 2 for $3 just felt like it wasn't enough food. All in all, there was nothing wrong with this meal, but it wasn't mindblowing. It's a great value, and I'd absolutely get it again - 4/5! After ordering, it does look like this place is more popular for their poke, so I'd definitely give that a try sometime too!

Yoki Express is a solid spot if you're looking to grab a quick meal, but it's nothing out of this world. The restaurant itself is very standard for fast casual and the service is what you'd expect for a spot like this. I haven't tried their poké, which they are more so known for, but I have tried their warm bowls, which I think might be newer. They were running a BOGO free special on their warm bowls during Snowport, so that was a pretty nice incentive to try them out. The chicken and vegetables tasted relatively healthy and not too greasy, but not overly flavorful. In other words, the food got the job done, but I won't be dreaming about it.

Good spot for a quick poke bowl, decent amount of indoor seating, as well as some outdoor seating nearby. They have a lot of options to choose, from regular stir fry noodles and chicken, to burrito poke bowls. I went with the standard rice bowl and got double salmon. They ingredients were fresh and the salmon tasted good. I do think the bowl was a bit pricey for the quality and quantity, but that also may be expected in this area of Boston. 4/5

Think Subway for Poke. Lol. You choose your base (white or brown rice or salad greens), then choose your protein(they have both raw and cooked options) then finish off with toppings and sauces. They also offer ramen and grilled bowls. Affordable prices. Friendly service. Casual atmosphere.

Kung Pao Chicken plate with lo mein; Curry Chicken with fried rice

Tried kung Pao chicken with lo mein and curry chicken with fried rice. Everything was fine. Not good, not bad just fine. The food is incredibly bland and mild, which I suppose could be good or bad depending on your preference. Would have given 2 stars but the BOGO deal on the app that rhymes with Goober bumps it up to 3.

Fresh wrapped sushi burritos and more LA-esque options here at this Subway sandwich style sushi bar. Food is prepared to order and you can add all your favorite sushi classics to burritos from shrimp to salmon and tofu.

10/10 - Love Yoki Express :D I haven't been in the restaurant yet, I just usually order food at this restaurant on Uber Eats, I will try to get there one day. Honestly, I am not a person who likes to write a review after having the service, but for this restaurant, I would love to do so as not just the foods was good, but the service is great as well. I recently ordered on Uber Eat and even got an extra dish with a note "Thank you" on it. It might be not worth a lot of money for that extra food, but it was extremely meaningful to me. Also, it showed how thoughtful they are. I give all credits for what they have been doing to serve the community. Again, my sincere thanks.

Extremely fresh fish with generous portions in a casual, underground space…read more I think this is a reasonably priced establishment for the level of fish (phenomenal) and service (reasonable and attentive, but not like a fancier sit down restaurant) that you get. I am always surprised at how full I am when I leave! I'm stuffed every time. There is complementary miso soup with all of the bowls I've tried, outlined below. I really loved all of the bowls I've tried but my favorites are probably the Sake Aisuru Don and Kuromon Don. I just prefer more salmon to more tuna though, and they're all very good! Food: - Sake Aisuru Don: their classic all-salmon bowl! I loved the larger cuts of salmon, and I was pleasantly surprised that even the more pulverized salmon was flavorful! - Kuromon Don: loved the yellowtail in this! Each fish comes with two pieces (except the mackerel for which there are four), and I liked the sampler style for the salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and izumidai. - Maguro Toro Don: so much tuna! And all such high quality. The otoro was so fatty that it practically melted in my mouth without chewing. - Sake Maguro Hamachi Don: a mix of salmon, blue fin tuna, and yellowtail. I liked the yellowtail in this a lot and found that it stood out the most from the other two fish in this particular bowl!

The second time I went back, I ordered take out so I could eat it at the airport for dinner. I ordered the Sake Maguro Hamachi don, added ikura and negitoro. Again, so impressed with the quality of the fish and the size of it. They didn't skimp out and really enjoyed the thickness of the sashimi despite it only being 3 pieces. It was a very satiating bowl. Cant wait to come back next time again!

Those concerns disappeared almost immediately. Looking around the dining room, I noticed many of the customers were of Asian descent, which gave me confidence that I was in the right place. I grabbed a seat at the counter, and it ended up being the best seat in the house. Watching the cooks prepare each bowl from scratch was fascinating. They hand-cut the udon noodles, cooked every component to order, and assembled each bowl with incredible care. It felt like dinner and a show all in one. On a rainy Boston afternoon, the Spicy Hot Niku Udon with an onsen egg was exactly what I needed. The broth was deeply flavorful, with rich dried fish and beef notes that tasted comforting without being overwhelming. The thinly sliced beef was tender and perfectly cooked, while the freshly made udon noodles were the star of the bowl. They were silky, smooth, and wonderfully chewy. The tempura flakes added a satisfying salty crunch that contrasted nicely with the soft noodles. The star of the dish, onsen egg, stole the show. The white part had an almost custard-like texture and the yolk was rich and creamy, blending effortlessly into the broth to make every bite even more luxurious. My only suggestion would be to offer sliced jalapeños as an optional side garnish. As a Korean who grew up enjoying spicy foods, I found myself wanting just a little more heat. I understand that Japanese cuisine typically isn't as fiery, but having the option to add fresh jalapeños would have taken an already excellent bowl to the next level for my personal taste.

The restaurant focuses mostly on soba or udon noodle dishes with a good selection between hot and cold options. It's not going to be the best udon or soba you've ever had. HOWEVER, I tried the cold ikura & uni cold soba and LOVED it. It's seasonal, so I tried that one out and was extremely surprised about how much I enjoyed the bowl. Not too much soup and the uni didn't completely obliterate when I stirred it up. They do use American wasabi though, and I found it superfluous to the dish and wished it was served on the side. But regardless, despite not having some extremely high quality noodles, the flavor and experience of the bowl itself was super pleasant. I ended up coming back the very next day because I wanted to try their clam soba. The clam soba only comes hot, which is a bit unfortunately because I actually think a cold clam soba with some lemon or yuzu would be phenomenol. I've been seeing recipes for it online so I've been wanting to try it, but their clam soba is a lot more standard and hot. They had a very good amount of clams in it, but I generally like their cold soba better. XO Seafood Udon: The restaurant specifically labeled it "wok-tossed," and it truly had a wonderful wok-hei鑊氣 (wok aroma), with an irresistible fragrance as soon as it arrived at the table. The shrimp, squid, and scallops were all fresh and large, making for a very satisfying meal. The shrimp, in particular, were coated with a thin layer of starch before being pan-fried, adding layers of texture and locking in the juices. This plate removed the scallions and onions to suit my taste, and if you like spicy food, adding a little chili oil would greatly enhance the flavor. When I made the reservation online I put that the occasion it was for was my birthday- I notice that most restaurants don't pay attention to this on OpenTable, but Fuji definitely did! We were seated quickly and with no issue at all, despite it being pretty crowded. The vibe was intimate and classy- a great spot for date night, or for dinner with your parents. At our table was a card (in the pictures) which was such a nice touch and was a great start to the meal. Our waitress was awesome, and it seemed like there was a floor manager too that was making sure everyone was happy. It felt like the staff truly cared and wanted to make sure everyone was having a good time and experience. Our waitress checked in on us multiple times, and was very helpful with the menu. Speaking of the menu, I was very pleased to see the amount of vegetarian dishes! You don't see that often at Japanese restaurants! For our appetizers we got the lobster Rangoon and spicy edamame. Technically the tofu is an app but you would never guess that from the portion size. The edamame were outstanding! They were spicy as expected and were so tasty. We demolished the whole bowl. The Rangoons were also amazing- the chunks of lobster were divine. I myself love lobster and crab Rangoons, so a combo?! Amazing. Both the edamame and lobster Rangoons are can't misses. For our entrees/ mains we got the crispy soy noodles, miss Waldorf roll, sweet potato roll, tofu, and fried rice. The miss Waldorf roll is amazing, and I can not wait to go back and get more sushi. Truly the best sushi I have had in boston. There are other upscale sushi restaurants I have been to that charge a pretty penny but taste like grocery store sushi. Fuji is not one of those- it was truly exceptional sushi. The sweet potato roll was also delicious! I am very picky about my sweet potato rolls and had one that I have dreamt about since I had it in 2022. I have finally found a sweet potato roll that matches my standards. The crispy soy noodles were also amazing! They reminded e of one of my favorite restaurants when I was a kid and it filled me with such joy to eat something with that flavor. The serving size was pretty big too, and they were not shy on the shrimp! Note though, they were a tad oily (I added a little bit of soy sauce to balance it out). The fried rice was also very good and tasted like a good bowl of comfort fried rice. My parents ate it with the tofu and liked it! The only dish I would want some change in is the tofu- it wasn't bad but compared to the other dishes it definitely lacked the flavor punch you get in the rest of the dishes. The sauce was okay with it. After dinner our waitress brought a slice of vanilla crepe cake and ice cream! This was such a nice touch and it was SO good!!!!! It was the first time I ever had crepe cake but I loved it! I'm not sure if they have a dessert menu or not (we weren't asked if we wanted to see one) but I would love to go back and get that cake again! Overall I am beyond happy that I picked this spot for my birthday- I had an amazing experience and amazing food. Will definitely be back!

It introduced me to new textures, flavors, aromas, and, most importantly, a deeper appreciation for the culture behind the food. From the moment we arrived, Chef Wei, his wife Carrie, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere felt intimate, as though we had been invited into someone's home rather than a restaurant. Every detail felt intentional, from the minimalist design and calming ambiance to the subtle aromas throughout the space. Learning that Three 1 One was originally a one-bedroom apartment made the experience even more meaningful. The evening reminded me of a trip to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, where local islanders welcomed my fiancé and eight friends into their home to share a meal prepared from that day's catch. Coincidentally, there were ten guests gathered around the counter at Three 1 One, just as there had been ten of us in Vietnam. In both places, strangers came together over exceptional food and genuine hospitality. That feeling stayed with me throughout the evening. My fiancé and I celebrated our 11th anniversary here as we began exploring Michelin-starred restaurants together. After traveling throughout North and South Vietnam, where his family is from, we returned with a renewed appreciation for food and the stories it tells. We were excited to discover such a thoughtful Michelin-starred restaurant so close to home. The 19-course omakase felt like a journey. The opening truffle sea bream with mizuna and sudachi sauce awakened the palate with bright citrus and earthy richness. The Kegani Hokkaido hairy crab with dashi jelly and tomato dashi mousse became my fiancé's favorite. Once mixed together, it was creamy, savory, delicate, and refreshing. His reaction said it all: "Wow." The tako (octopus) with house-made sweet soy sauce highlighted the natural flavor of the seafood beautifully, while the Tokobushi somen with abalone, wheat noodles, yam, okra, and cold dashi became one of my favorite courses. It was refined yet bold, layered with umami, and unexpectedly reminded me of the haenyeo women of Jeju Island, whose tradition of free-diving for seafood gave me an even greater appreciation for the ingredients. Another standout was the Amadai Uroko Yaki (crispy-scale tilefish). The contrast between the crisp scales and tender fish created a texture I'd never experienced before. Along with the abalone course, it was one of the highlights of the evening. The Aji horse mackerel with ginger, chives, sesame, and nori provided a refreshing transition before the sushi. The sushi alone deserves its own review. Every piece reflected remarkable craftsmanship and precision. Watching Chef Wei prepare each bite was part of the experience itself. The rice was beautifully seasoned, and every ingredient felt balanced. My favorite piece was the uni (sea urchin). It was incredibly smooth, rich, and almost buttery. My second favorite was the Hokkaido hotate (scallop), with its delicate smokiness, sweetness, and juicy texture that left me wanting another bite immediately. We also tried selections from the additional menu, along with a pear-toned sake that paired beautifully with the meal. More than anything, what stayed with me wasn't just the food, but the feeling of the evening. It was an experience built around craftsmanship, hospitality, culture, and sharing a meal with others. Thank you to Chef Wei, Carrie, and the entire team for making our 11th anniversary unforgettable and for giving us such a memorable first Michelin-star dining experience. We look forward to returning.

We went through 18 courses of the freshest, highest-quality fish. Chef Wei's precision is amazing to watch, and the progression of the meal was perfectly paced. He is truly an artist! If you have allergies, they are exceptionally accommodating. I have a crab allergy, and they didn't just skip the course, instead they prepared a thoughtful, high-end substitution so I never felt like I was missing out on the full experience. While it is a splurge, Chef Wei ensures you get your money's worth through the quality of the ingredients and the flawless service. An absolute 10/10 for a special occasion!
