    a bottle of hot sauce

I have been coming here for years... and have been understanding with some of the revenue challenges a place like this has... from AC not set low enough, to not fixing the 2nd bathroom... but now they have gone too far... replacing authentic Sriracha with some cheap awful tasting Chin-Su sauce to save money!! I won't be returning and I have been here at least 80 times. What a bummer.

Simple dish is the best here. Just got the chicken lunch special with white meat. The chicken is always sliced very thin and has just enough teriyaki sauce on them. The white rice also cooked great. About $12 for lunch.

Yogis Grill is a fun and healthy place for a great lunch, with lots of options and combinations to choose, from their extensive menu. Our little lunch group comes here twice a month and at this point we've tried almost everything on the menu (see photo). We haven't found anything we do not like. And more importantly, the Sushi is very Fresh. I tend to order the Spicy Tuna Roll for $7.99, but recent I've switched to the Spicy Tuna Salad for $9.48 (see photos) with Avocado. Others in our group go for the Miso Soup ($1.99), California Roll ($5.79) and the Chicken & Beef Bowl ($8.39). All were good. On our last trip, I had the Póke which was delicious. Expect to pay $11.00 with a soft drink.

This is my favorite place to come and get sushi. It's pretty affordable and the quality is great. I always tend to get the yogis grill sushi roll and this time I got a side of miso soup. I actually ordered this time through DoorDash and by the time I got my order, the miso soup was still piping hot! I definitely burned my mouth on it since I don't have the patience to wait for things to cool down haha. I really liked the miso soup flavor and the yogis grill roll is always my favorite. The portion sizes of the rolls are really big and very filling. If you're looking for a place to get quick sushi, I highly recommend coming here

I'm usually here to pick up miso soup and a teriyaki chicken. If you want vegetables you have to order them separately. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always friendly. There is the lunch special which I believe begins at 11 and ends at 2 I could be wrong on the hours check it out. They do have Wi-Fi here which is super convenient. And it's usually not too crowded so you have a little bit of peace to continue working through lunch. It is conveniently located off of the 101 and which makes it easy to get to and it's right off of federal.

Beef Teriyaki Bowl w/ garlic noodles. (To-go)

This was a great pick for lunch! The menu is simple, but plentiful. Prices are quite affordable & the portion sizes aren't lacking whatsoever. Best of all, for "fast food", this is relatively fresh & on the healthier side when comparing to other options. I was sold at the garlic noodles, lol. But ordered the bowl, with the teriyaki beef & rice. SO good! Generous amount of beef, and their teriyaki sauce is excellent! A little on the salty side, but great consistency & flavor. Rice was perfect- a bit sticky but not too wet or too dry. The noodles were my favorite, though. Great flavor! And also, a very generous portion. Roughly around $10 for the bowl & a drink. Not bad at all for a lunch stop! Definitely will be back!

The hubs and I have been hitting up Yogi's a lot lately. For a quick, fresh, healthy yummy meal at good prices - Yogi's is a great pick!! Teriyaki bowls are tasty and have always been hot and fresh, both meats and the rice - not to mention coming out super quick. Love that you can get half beef half chicken because they both taste great with a nice smoky char from the grill. I've also gotten the Arizona bowl which is (faux) crabmeat and avocado on rice - for the size and amount of crabmeat plus avocado, it's a pretty good deal! My husband really loves their tuna roll, which is a bit pricey for just a tuna roll but at least it's a lot larger than your average. There's a good variety on their menu that I'm hoping to try still - Udon, Japanese fried chicken (karaage), yakisoba etc. Definitely a great place to hit up for quick and easy, casual Japanese-style fare!

I ordered a few basic and "safe" (but would consider as staple) dishes to test out this place: tempura, spicy tuna roll, rainbow roll, and chicken Yakisoba. Overall, yes, they all hit the standard. They are all good, but not great. Honestly, it will become the go-to 4th place and I would go back if my top 3 are all not available/long wait/close for the day. Lastly, the tempura is the most disappointing of all with portion size. So order 2 plates if you like veggies more than shrimps.

Updated review-- still 5 stars for me :)…read more Tonight we went to dinner hosted by the Tasting Collective (a dining club I joined last year). The menu was 5 courses prix fixe designed by the head chef for this group. The restaurant was closed as a private event. Service was excellent, the food was also so delicious, and cocktails were great too. Shimogamo is one of the few Japanese restaurants in the valley that remind me of eating Japanese food in Japan. It's well prepared, fresh, and high quality. The cocktails are creative and nods to Japan with delicate flavors and unique ingredients. Our courses were: started with the truffle amberjack which is a flavor bomb, very rich and truffle forward. Which I don't always enjoy but when paired with amberjack, it was great. 2nd course was a nigiri plate- 4 choices: sea bream (which I love), a fancy type salmon, toro, and couple pieces of the wagyu roll. Next onto a darn near perfect crab croquet that was creamy with big pieces of crab and perfectly fried, and main course was K4 ranch Wagyu from Prescott. Very buttery and delicious. We ended with a matcha basque cheesecake. The chefs talked about the food, answered questions, and talked about their background. It was an enjoyable dinner and we will be back for the "oysters and cocktails" hour they were promoting. I love both of those things.

They offer a nice variety of Japanese dishes, but we were definitely here for the ramen. I ordered the spicy miso ramen, and it came out just right--perfectly spicy with fish cake, green onions, and all the toppings. It was delicious and hit the spot. The tonkotsu ramen had a nice creaminess to it, but it could've used a bit more depth of flavor. One thing I really liked is that you can order side appetizers along with your entrée, almost like building your own bento-style meal. We went with the deep-fried gyoza and gyudon. The gyudon was a standout--definitely five stars. The gyoza, however, was just okay for me.
