Got in the mood for yogurt so came here. The staff was nice immediately asking us if we had been there and telling us about the organic yogurt. One lady asked if I wanted a sample and when I said yes she walked away. I guess she didn't hear me? Kiddo ordered her yogurt but they couldn't fill it and said they didn't have enough. So she had a squirt of one thing and had to settle for another flavor. I didn't get to try my flavor as a sample so I ordered mine and got it as a swirl. I didn't care for the flavor. Husband ordered a smoothie but it tasted like water. I don't believe him and tried it and sure enough it had no flavor whatsoever. I told him to take it back but as their lobby is small it was full of people so he drank half of it and threw it away. For a small cup of yogurt it was $9 plus a dollar a topping. I went here years ago when they first open and came again recently this past weekend, on a hot summer like evening. My friend and I had just done a small hike not too far at Griffith Park and needed something cooling and refreshing. Thankfully, Yoga-urt came to mind and definitely did not disappoint! Despite there being a line when we arrived, it moved quickly. While we waited, we were given some samples to try, which helped us decide what to order. They have a few rotating flavors each day and they all sounded so enticing! You definitely can't go wrong with whatever you order! I love how they make everything in house, it's all vegan and made mostly from cashews! I ended up getting a mini size as it seemed like the portion was just the right amount as I wasn't super hungry. I got the peanut butter prana and brownies as a topping. They were very generous with the amount of brownie pieces they put in. The frozen yogurt was very smooth and creamy, yet still felt very light. I liked how it wasn't overly sweet and I could really taste the peanut butter flavor. The brownies had a lovely soft gooey texture and the chocolate really enhanced the peanut butter taste. We dined in outside and they have two lovely picturesque patios both in front and in the back. The ambiance is very relaxing and quaint. The store itself had a fun vibe and was bright and fresh. It was also very clean inside. They have refrigerators if you want to take any ice cream pie slices or pints to go. Parking was super easy as we scored a spot right in front. This was my first time trying Yoga-urt. It was an amazing experience. We went there late at night right before closing and it was packed. Service was outstanding. The young lady who helped us was very nice and friendly. She offered us samples and informed us about the new items on the menu and seasonal items. I picked Pumpkin since it is pumpkin season. It was so good and I could taste the pumpkin. If you like extra topping, there is extra charge. Also, they offer to go options. They are in containers by the door. For the ambiance, this location is clean and well maintained. For seating, it is mostly outdoor seating. I saw couple of tables outside or maybe they are a shared with other businesses not sure about. For parking, it is mostly street parking. It might hard to find a parking spot during peak hours. Great little hidden gem in Glendale. They have daily flavors to choose from, so not everything you see on the menu are available, but rest assured, you'll find something you like. They also have different flavors available in pints, inside the freezer. You get to choose your toppings like most yogurt places. They serve organic yogurt. This was my second time at Yoga-urt, but first time at the original Glendale location. Yoga-urt fro yo is delicious. Yesterday, I sampled pineapple, tahini, and salted caramel, but still ended up getting PB and Strawberry (the two flavors I got my first time). I love that they are now offering naturally sweetened flavors, like tahini. This Yoga-urt location was very small inside, especially compared to visiting the Santa Monica location first. BUT- I remind myself that this was their first location. Still helpful to share my experience though, especially for those that don't like cramped spaces. There were multiple groups of customers inside when my friend and I were ordering and the space where staff could help us out (flavors, paying) was narrow, so it felt all smushed in with the other customers when two groups were trying to be helped at the same time. I also had to wait for my fro-yo after it had already been pumped out because someone was paying and there wasn't room to hand me the fresh swirl. They do have outdoor seating available, which was nice to be able to sit and enjoy the fro yo while it was still cold! read more

Came here to try their ice cream for the very first time. And it was sooooo good! I tried their chocolate bliss and I was in bliss with the first bite. It wasn't too sweet or too bland. The texture was smooth and perfect to my taste bud. I didn't add any topping because I'm just simple like that. With this inflation, their prices for the ice cream started around $7, which I thought was at higher end. But you get what you pay for, right? The soft serve has cashew, almond and milk. Everything here is "green" and is vegan friendly. They provide samples of their soft serve which is nice. They offer smoothies, soft serve and other cold goodies like banana split and more. I had the Birthday Cake & Strawberry Serenity for my soft service on a waffle cone and topped it off with vanilla cake. Again, the soft serve here is unique because it is nut based opposed to it being dairy based. The soft serve is obviously very nutty and gives of a different flavor profile from what type of birthday cake flavor I am used to. Service is great and I am happy I went here. I usually am not a fan of yogurt but my best friend told me she loved this place so she took me here to try their yogurt. I didn't think I would love it as much as I did. I got their peanut butter flavor and chocolate with cacao nibs at first and loved it. I will say the prices are very expensive but in my opinion it's worth it. The sizes do keep you full. I got a small and it filled me up to the point where I barely even got hungry the next day. I love yoga-urt so much I came back the next day and got the same flavors but in a different size. I got a large and split it with my sister. Even though we split it, we could barely finish it because it was so filling! I also really like how this place is vegan. I am lactose intolerant so this yogurt helped my stomach out alot! Also, when you check in for your first time, you do get 10% off your order which was nice! Found this place next to our workout class and decided to try it! Everything is nut based but dairy free. My favorite flavors were chocolate and strawberry. Tastes like real strawberry and chocolate. We got the frozen yogurt obviously with a topping or two. They have plenty of healthy smoothies, and their toppings were great. Their smoothies looked very good too. I love Yoga-urt! It has quickly become one of my go-to frozen yogurt places in SoCal. The yogurt is amazing, the staff is kind, and it is all vegan (+gluten free for yogurt)! They do the classics (vanilla, chocolate) really well. You can taste the quality of the yogurt and tell that it is made with love. They also rotate in a bunch of other classic froyo flavors. I personally love the salted caramel and cookies and cream. They rotate flavors so there is always a lot of variety, and they carry 6 flavors at at time. I have never had a problem that there was not a flavor that I didn't like. Size-wise they have a mini, small, medium, larger, and pint. I love the mini and small options because it gives me a reason to go whenever and fill my froyo craving. If I'm really in the mood or plan to share, the medium and large definitely hit the spot. The mini is definitely a good amount for a dessert, though I recommend at least the small size if you want to get a topping. They have regular and premium toppings which I think all cost extra ($0.50 for regular and $1 for premium). I think the toppings really elevate the experience so I would recommend at least one. I thought you used to get one free, but most recently I had to pay for even just one, which was a little annoying tbh. That leads me to the one con, which is the price. My most recent yogurt was a small with one topping and it came to $10 (see pic). While the serving is pretty good, that's up there for yogurt in my opinion, but I knew that going into and come back because it is 1) so good! and 2) supporting local businesses. So I tried this place out, and boy am I glad I did. The fiancée is mostly vegan so she wanted to go. Went with her and my mom. We sampled a few and eventually settled on what we wanted to get. I think each of us got larges with 2 flavors and 2 toppings because.....because. So I want to break down a few parts as to why I settled on 4 stars. First, the taste. It was amazing. Best vegan frozen yogurt I've ever had, and on par with the best non-vegan I've ever had. This probably puts it up over 5 stars, and it's the reason we will be going back. Some negatives, though. One, portion sizes varied greatly. The back one in the picture was mine. Don't know if the pic does it justice, but it is significantly larger than the other two. Now, I don't know if I got too much or they got too little, but it a little "that's not fair" got thrown around. Variety is also a problem. There is an extensive list of flavors, but only 6 we could choose from. I think you could have bought pints in other flavors, but for the whole experience, just 6. I get it - you don't need to have 31 flavors to be good, but I can easily see someone going in and just not finding a flavor they like. Last is price. Two of them came to $13.50 each, with the one with the brownies being an extra $1, so $14.50. I guess brownies are "premium". There was nothing I saw to denote what was or wasn't premium. The charge was accurately listed on the board, but no real way to cross reference to the toppings out there. When 3 people going out for yogurt comes to over $40 plus tax...that's a lot. Also, minor gripe, but I lost about 1/4 of my blueberries before I even got to sit down. A few were lost when she moved it over to the counter, a couple more in the handoff, and a couple on the floor before finally stopping to mash them in and stop the madness. Hard for me to say what I'd do different, but it was something I remembered. I personally am a fan of the "pay by the ounce" model. Everything then is consistent and allows for people to add as much/many topping as they want. That's just my commentary on it. Like I said, I'm going to go back I'm sure.
