The prices are affordable and pretty reasonable, especially for the quality of the food! The service is also top-notch. It is a little tight inside, so don't expect to sit down and eat--it's definitely more of a grab-and-go spot. Overall: 4/5

I heard that they serve affordable food and coffees and I didn't wait a second to get there. I ordered tuna melt which was a little on the oily side but for $4.99 it's really good. Cold brew had instant coffee flavor but again for $2.50?!?! You can't complain... I really appreciate the owner for serving food this affordable. Do not forget to tip!!!
"Whhhhaaaaaatttt?" was the word I said out loud (and in my head) when I saw Yi's Cafe's prices. Takes me back to the early 2010s when prices were reasonable, and going out to eat wouldn't burn a hole in your wallet. Beautiful cafe drinks for under $4 and sandwiches under $6. Again, "wwhhhhaaaattt?" It is unheard of and unseen in this day and age. Boy I miss the living in the 2010s as a kid but I'll just come back to Yi's Cafe to be nostalgic then and enjoy their amazing prices and value. My fiancé and I felt like a simpleton that day so we went the basic route ordering a Cold Brew and their Hot Vanilla Latte, with a ham & cheese croissant to share. Came out to less than $15 for 2 drinks and a pastry. Again, unheard of in this day and age. And I should add - just as delicious, and it tastes even better with their prices. They have fresh baked muffins on display, and it was very tempting to look at, too. I can't wait to come back and try more pastries, and their cool drinks (e.g. Tiramisu latte, Dalgona Whipped Coffee, Lychee Rainbow Soda, etc)! There was only one man making all the orders. He is very efficient and friendly, too! He welcomed every customer in and had a very warm hello and goodbye - I appreciated that! A lot of the customers we saw go in and out seem like regulars too and knew the man by name. Loyal customers here! There are a couple of chairs inside and outside to sit. Parking is on the street, but there is plenty on Foothill Blvd or Wigwam Ave (the next mini street to the right). Needless to say, Yi's Cafe will be my fiancé and I's go-to spot for coffee and pastries now! We love to support a great local business that is honest with their prices, that's what everyone is saying here, and we gotta spread the word!
There are not enough words in a Yelp review to say all I want to say about this place, but I'll give it a shot. Yi's Cafe is a spot on the corner of a street that is a bit unassuming, with just two tables and a bit of seating outside. But don't let that fool you, this is one of the best cafe experiences Arcadia, and even SoCal, have to offer! Even though it was my first time, it felt like I'd known Eric for years. His friendliness, down-to-earth style of handling things, and open communication about wait times were highlights of the amazing customer service here. We waited approx. 20 minutes for our food and drinks, and were offered two free pastries along with it. We got a banana chip muffin and a matcha muffin, both phenomenal quick bites that satisfied our cravings and hunger for a bit while we waited for our food. We ended up spending about $23 for two entrees, two drinks, and two muffins. The bang for your buck here is unbeatable. I've never seen anything like it. The two entrees we picked were Yi's Beef Burrito and the Chicken Pesto Panini. Both were delicious and hearty, feeling more like a nostalgic meal from back home than lunch out. The drinks are quite literally $4. $4 for a coffee nowadays is like winning the lottery on your first try. No better feeling. Both were amazing, with bold coffee flavors and strong notes of tiramisu and cookie butter. No notes at all. Overall, I think this place does exactly what it needs to. It's a small, corner shop-style cafe with an owner that cares about his customers, remembering "usual" orders and having conversations with them while making their drinks. He's patient, hardworking, and deserves all of the success he gets! I hope Yi's Cafe is around to stay, because I will definitely be back! 10/10.
Inexpensive, no-frills spot to get your caffeine fix and a meal for about $10 or less in 2026!! Wooh! I ordered the chicken panini for $5.99. I tempered my expectations and expected a mediocre sandwich due to the price of $5.99 but was pleasantly surprised to receive a hot, generously-filled sandwich all within 5 minutes! I ate outside at one of their two tables and noticed a handful of people come in to order their drinks. Will try one next time!
July 2026 Food/Pricing - Very reasonably priced drinks and food! The chicken pesto panini is our go to and only $5.99! Service/Ambiance - Small place but does have a few chairs inside. More chairs outside as well. The staff is always super nice! Parking - Street parking.
This is a teeny tiny joint in Sierra Madre. They sell a few muffins, which is what I came for, and some sandwiches, along with coffee and teas. I got there literally as they were closing up and was worried everything would be gone. Surprisingly they had most of the muffins, and when I asked if they were in fact out of the blueberry muffins, the owner told me there were more in back (probably just made). Thank you! I got some blueberry muffins, cinnamon bun muffins, a banana chocolate chip, a couple of matcha, and a couple of Ube muffins. I guess you get 13 for the price of 12 or 12 for the price of 11. It's your choice. I got the extra muffin. The blueberry muffins and cinnamon muffins were fantastic, the ube were very good, and the banana chocolate chip was decent. Matcha is an odd beast - sometimes it is delightful in sweets and desserts and sometimes it is totally unpleasant. I know there are different types of green tea, and I think that's what makes the difference, but I could be making this all up for all I know. What I do know is none of us liked the matcha muffins. Also, they don't use any preservatives, which should make everyone happy. Just keep in mind that within two days the muffins will be stale and hard as cement, so only buy what you can eat in a day. Still, I would totally go back for the blueberry and cinnamon muffins and probably the Ube, too. Their drinks also look interesting. They have an extensive selection of choices. Stop on by and give them a try for the muffins, if for nothing else!
The service is quick and the prices are amazing! Had a chicken panini, a tuna melt, and ham cheese croissant and they were good! The tiramisu coffee was also so taste!
I think I've found my favorite local cafe! Yi's Cafe has amazing coffee and foods for an incredible price. I can't believe they are selling latte's for under $4, when most other places are charging almost double. I ordered the hainan chicken burrito and it was so flavorful and a very decent portion. It includes rice, scallions, cucumber, and Hainan chicken. The staff are super friendly as well, as they offered a free muffin when I came in. Plenty of parking in front of the store. I'm definitely going to become a regular here!
This cute little place has been on my bookmark for a little while now so I was so happy to have tried it today. It's a little shop, but it's ran super efficiently with friendly service. Reading some other Yelp review and seeing some of their TikTok's, I knew I wanted to try their Hainan Chicken Rice, Chicken Pesto Panini, and their Tiramisu Latte. I did order all of those things, and added their chicken tacos and their Iced Dalgona Whipped Coffee. We came closer to their closing time and they gave us some blueberry muffins to try, which was better than some bakery muffins I've had. I have to say... Everything was pretty good, but my favorite would be the Chicken Pesto Panini and Tiramisu Latte. Other cafés, they would probably charge double the price and not taste as good but, Yi's Cafe definitely does it right! The Hainan Chicken Rice was decent for the price but the chicken was a little dry, the rice needed a bit more chicken stock, and I wish the sauce had more ginger in it. Other than that... It was pretty good. With all the food and drinks I got, plus tax and tip included... It only cost around $38. Which is such a steal for the quality of food and drinks that you get. There is so many good things I wanted to try on their menu, especially their breakfast sandwiches. I have to come back and try their Spanish coffee and get another Chicken Pesto Panini and tiramisu latte. So good! Make sure to put them on your bookmark and try to go support this small cafe. Your wallet and stomach will thank you!
I almost missed this cafe! Don't blink! I ended up at the next block, parked, walked. We were his last customers on a Saturday.Let me just say i discovered an amazing true small business we enjoyed his drinks! I did lie to the owner i told him i was only getting drinks but ended up getting a pesto sandwich and burrito.everything was top notch! It just shows not everything "fancy" needs a pricey price tag. I went to a fancy coffee shop close to me the following day and it doesn't compare! It's a coffee and wine "cafe" - that i went to! I would rather driver HERE! Hands down
Finally tried this cute new cafe. Amazed by the quality and quantity of food and reasonable prices! Not much seating but so worth the visit! And our lunch included two free muffins!!!

Great deals and great service! Coffee and drinks for $4, what more can you ask for? And when you spend over $10 you get a free pastry! The food is good too and also really good prices! I've had the tuna melt and the ham and cheese croissant which were both good. As for muffins my favorite is the banana chocolate chip. The service is also quick and fast, the cashier makes your drinks right in front of you and I've never waited more than 5 minutes for my food. This spot is very small, more of a grab and go establishment rather than somewhere you can chill or work. Only small counters inside and a couple tables outside. Nothing wrong with that though! Just make note of that when planning your visit. read more

Pre-covid prices and good quality! Yi's has a large menu of food and drinks with prices that I haven't seen in years. The matcha latte and dalgona coffee here were great! Highly recommend Yi's! read more

This small cafe is such a gem. The prices can't be beat for the quality of food and drinks they serve! The small breakfast burrito was the perfect size for a quick snack (they have 2 sizes). The tiramisu latte was the highlight of my day. The employee that took my order was quick and friendly. He made me drink so fast and it came out so delicious! Can't wait to stop by when I'm in the area again. read more
The breakfast sandwiches are great, they have a selection of bakery items and may options for breakfast food items. They also have their hainan chicken rice dish that looks good. This small family owned business is in a cute lowkey place. The service was great. Sometimes when its busy, plan to wait a while since its only 1-2 people working. The prices makes it worth the wait. I always stop by here when I'm around the area. My go to is the Tiramisu latte! read more

Love this little coffee shop, super affordable drinks ($4 or less) & friendly service. When you spend $10 you get a free pastry! Where else can you get 3 drinks & a pastry for under $12? I came back 2 more times to try more drinks. I enjoyed the matcha latte, pumpkin spice latte, mocha latte, green tea, strawberry lemonade, lychee lemonade & Oreo muffin. The drinks are on the sweet side which I like, but if you prefer it less sweet make sure you let them know. I appreciate the fact that they don't add too much ice like some other coffee shops. They also have affordable food, it's a great place to get drinks & lunch to go! read more

Drinks are very reasonably priced ($3.75) I usual get a hot or cold Mocha Latte. Yum... Owner is very nice and offers a free pastry if you order totals $10. I also got a ham and cheese croissant for only $2.50. You can't find that price anywhere. It is a small place, so it's more for grab and go, although you can eat there and there is free street parking. read more

Have driven by this place a few times and finally stopped by with the wife. I had ordered the Vietnamese coffee. Which was good and strong I think he said it was made with 4 espresso shots. The guy who was working was friendly and nice. It's a small cafe with limited seating inside and outside. Call it cozy. The bakery items especially the chocolate croissant looked good will have to try that next time. It's on a busy street with curb side parking or on the side street parking. But the pricing was great I think it was like $3-4. Definitely would come back again. read more

I finally got the chance to try Yi's Cafe and was pleasantly surprised. The Hainan Chicken ($10) was piping hot!!!!! The chicken was super tender and flavorful, and the rice had the essence of chicken fat. They give one container of scallion oil which adds a whole other dimension to upgrade the meal. I also got the tiramisu latte and vanilla latte. The tiramisu latte ($4) was certainly a steal. To me, it tasted more like a mocha with some crystalized sugar on the bottom, but nonetheless, the coffee was super smooth and not bitter. Their service is super friendly and they gave me a complimentary banana chocolate chip muffin which was delicious but a bit dense. The inside is very small and definitely not a place to sit and work. Overall, I will definitely want to return and try more of their super affordable menu! read more
Very low key and small shop, no frills just excellent prices. I was really shocked looking at the menu and seeing prices you'd see 5+ years ago, no many places can keep costs so low. I ordered a tiramisu iced latte and a honey cinnamon iced latte, both were fantastic. Great flavor, no complaints whatsoever. The barista gave my dog a pup cup, which is a little cup with whipped cream and a couple dog treats and she was so happy. Really great place, will definitely be back to when I'm in the area! read more
Found this place via Instagram and decided to payit a visit on the weekend. We ordered a few items: -Hainan Chicken with rice: overall, a little bland and quite oily. They also ran out of one of the sauces, so it kind of felt like something was missing. I've had better hainan chicken, but for $10, this one was not bad. -Chicken Pesto Panini: the chicken in this also tasted pretty bland, but the pesto sauce and tomatoes helped a lot. The bread was crispy, and was filling enough for lunch. -Iced pumpkin spice latte, half sweet: this was my favorite item we ordered. The cream on top was so fluffy and ordering it half sweet was perfect. Better than other coffee shops that charge $7+. They also let us choose 2 free items from the fridge, ended up with a sparkling water and a celsius, but they also had ice cream and popsicles as options as well. This was a nice unexpected touch to top off the meal. Great place to visit for a light lunch, good coffee, and very reasonable pricing! read more
I was looking for a new cafe in Arcadia. I found Yi's Cafe. It is a small and cute cafe with cozy vibes. There was limited seating. The barista was very nice and friendly. They have unique drinks, fresh pastries, and delicious breakfast sandwiches. The price was very fair. I ordered many delicious items from their menu. I got the following: - 3 dalgona whipped coffee 5/5 It was a sweet with strong coffee flavor with frothy top which added richness to the drink. - Smoked salmon sandwich 5/5 It was smoky, buttery and flavorful. -3 croffle 5/5 It was crispy from outside with rich and flaky texture inside. -Brownie pound cake 5/5 decadent, moist, and rich. They had a promotion the day I went. The customers get a free pastry , If they spend more than ten dollars. I got a free guava Danish. It was fresh, flaky and buttery. Their pastries, sandwiches, anddrinks were really outstanding. It is a great coffee shop to try. Definitely, I will be back. read more

The ambiance was good. The wait wasn't long but there was only one guy working alone so be patient. He was nice and let us know food items weren't available due to kitchen problems that day so we couldn't try any. After we ordered and were waiting more people kept coming in so safe to say it's a coffee good shop. The drinks were really good the coffee didn't taste burnt, the mocha tasted like a proper mocha and the tiramisu was really good too. Both for under $10 definitely recommend overall. read more
I always wanted to try this place. The reviews are great and it does not disappoint. I got the iced Vietnamese coffee. Like one reviewer said it is not made the traditional way with a phin but it's nice and strong, 4 shots of espresso. It had the perfect amount of sweetness. I would definitely come back and try a different drink sometime. The inside is small but clean. The prices are great for what quality you get. read more
An absolute gem! I hope every comes to try them out. It's hard to find prices like these anywhere else. I got the tiramisu latte for $4!! I really enjoyed the cream too it came with. And I got the spinach danish ($2.50) it was nice and toasted. Couldn't wait and finished it on my drive home. Drinks do take a little longer because there was only one person working but it was worth it. I definitely want to come back to try other items on their menu. read more

Hidden gem! Actually drove past it before I could find it, so definitely almost hidden first time at Yi's Cafe and will not be my last! Tried the Tiramisu latte and the Vietnamese coffee, which were so good and not too sweet! Also picked up a Hainan chicken plate and a chicken pesto panini (was too excited to eat and wasn't able to get a picture). The chicken was good and plentiful; however the rice was kind of stale and dry unfortunately. The panini was great though, and definitely kept me full from eating even a half of the sandwich! We also came across the promotion of getting a free pastry for every $10 spent, which is such a nice deal. Got the blueberry and the cinnamon muffins, again not too sweet and had a nice sugar crust on top! Service was great, the cashier was attentive and very patient as we were trying to decide what to order among all the great options. It was a very small store front, but cozy and warm inside, a mom and pop feel. Definitely will be back as you cannot beat these prices and quality in this economy! read more

Lovey little cafe for a quick stop for caffeine and more! This is my new hidden find and I'm definitely coming back. I love the little neighborhood feel. There's fun ice cream treats, caffeinated and no caffeinated drinks, and baked good. A nice spot to hide from the sun and heat. Such an affordable and delicious iced vanilla latte with oat milk I had today! It was $3.75 and it is also really nice that milk alternative is not extra too, all the lactose sensitive/intolerant folks rejoice! My friend got a Vietnamese coffee and enjoyed it too. They let us bring our dog in and have a little water from their doggy water bowl. There's one standing table if you want to have a little hang out, solo quick eat, or wait for your order. Lots of parking available too. Would recc? If in the area, yes ! read more

Love to support small coffee businesses. This is my favorite go to place. It's the only place I've been too that doesn't up charge for alternative milk options. My favorite is the honey cinnamon latte w/ oat milk. Service is quick, not much seating area, best to get everything to go. Plenty of street parking and parking lot behind building. read more
