I was so impressed by the happy hour menu and selection of draft beer, I order ordered two House IPAs and a full order of traditional wings for under $16 ( not including tip). The wings were good but a little boring ( buffalo)and IPA perfectly cold and delicious! Bartenders totally nice and attentive! I am always looking for places to drop in and get a snack and a beer. This totally met my budget and perfect stop before I finish shopping and catch the bus home ( only way to really travel to Seattle in style other than ride sharing services ). This is probably my favorite "chain" in Seattle. It's a good spot for bar food and cheap drinks. Heck the happy hour is the only reason why I come. Apps and entrees at amazing prices same w drinks. Honestly overpriced is my biggest complaint ~ I went Thursday at 7 pm and was looking for a meal, but not entree. I got 4 mini egg rolls on a bed of cabbage and an order of truffle fries for $18.50. Overpriced and over cooked food. $14 wings that were overcooked and was so hot that it felt like it just had pain hot sauce. My wife had chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and they were both overcooked. The ranch was so watered down it tasted like water. Asked to substitute for blue cheese instead. Their dressing tasted like sour cream with chunks of blue cheese in it. No flavor at all. If you gonna charge that damn much for food at least cook it properly. read more

Yard house is a great place to go for a drink with friends and to watch some sports. It is very loud and full of energy in this place. I would not come here on a date if you are looking to have a nice conversation because of the noise level. I would describe the food as high end bar food - more expensive but pretty decent quality. The menu has a variety of entrees. Tacos, burgers, pizzas, seafood, steak, etc. the prices are more on the high end but pretty typical of Seattle. We ordered the vampire taco which was a taco deep fried in cheese essentially - really tasty. We also got the ahi tuna steak sandwich and a burger. I've been to other locations and was happy to find one downtown Seattle. We came here for their happy hour specials which are 3-6 pm Mon- Friday. There are also some late night happy hours Sun- Thurs. During happy hour, there are at least 15-20 of their appetizers that are half off. We went with the chicken nachos which are huge and very filling. They also have $4 off their half yard beers. During this time, the restaurant was definitely busier than I expected but it was the first day of march madness. We were seated right away and had quick service despite seeming busy. There are TVs throughout the restaurant/bar to watch your favorite sports game. I may be back again before leaving Seattle! read more

During Covid19 its very spacious with social distancing and plenty of time to relax and they encouraged camping put at your table since business is slow and you can order more drinks while socializing. We were visiting here and got in late, and were tired and had a little one with us and needed to just find somewhere to eat, came across this place and headed in. It was very long and the bar was segregated from the eating area, which was nice with a toddler, they got in our orders quickly, it was very cozy and they didn't linger, we got the mac and cheese which was delicious and easily shared with my kid and it was just a great experience. I know this place is in a very high traffic area but I usually get really good service and the food is always fresh. I've never had an issue with the food, in-fact the poke nachos are one of my favorite dishes anywhere. They also have sour beer, which is sometimes very hard to find. All the drinks are relatively good and happy hour is a must. My absolute favorite dish is the Caesar salad w/salmon. Hands down one of my favorites, I've even learned how to recreate it at home. She answered all of my questions about the menu and made sure what I ordered was animal product free. My friends got the huge pretzel, enchiladas and fish n chips. All of these things were gone. I ordered the vegan burger with side salad. After a plane ride and some traffic, I was hella hungry and that sucker was gone. This place is terrific for very large groups and quick too! We arrived with 16 people in our group, no reservation and around noon. They never hesitated, they asked us to wait a few minutes while they located a spot for us and within 10 min we were seated and drink orders were taken. The food choices are awesome and so is the actual food. Our wait staff was prompt and always anticipating our next needs. Both myself and many of my Yelp friends are fans of the Yard House. It is guaranteed that as soon as I got off the plane, looked up Yard House and saw one at 4th Street southwest of Pacific Center Mall that I was going to do an evening check-in there. A few days into the vacation, after an all day tour of Mount Rainier, we had the opportunity to hang out in the downtown Seattle Yard House. The Yard House is an indoor theme park of beer. It is an indoor theme park with its own microbrewery attraction. The Yard House is to beer what Baskin Robbins is to ice cream. Except I counted double the number of 31 flavors. If I were the Yard House Duke and were to hang out here every single evening for two months, I would be sipping a different beer each night. I would be choosing from a sundry of types of beer. The types of beer include craft beer, cider seasonal, light beer, honey fruit, wheat, malty, dark roasted, and bitter piney. The Yard House features two happy hours. Monday through Friday there is a 3 to 6 PM happy hour and Sunday through Wednesday 10 to close. The happy hour makes more than beer drinkers happy. It includes $2 off wine by the glass, a $6.50 house martini, and $2 off specialty drinks. Then there is half price pizza (not bad by the way) and selected appetizers. The sound track to this indoor theme park for beer lovers is the greatest rock tunes of all time. If the Yard House broadcasted a radio station, I'd be listening to it in my car. The tunes included Talking Heads "Psycho Killer," The Door's "L.A. Woman," and the Rolling Stones "Jumping Jack Flash. " Just upbeat rocking tunes that bring out the best of times. The stereo system is crystal clear where I could hear every note. The sight of the draft beer taps across the bar is entertaining in itself. I never knew that many of these beers exhisted. I was having the best of times when the unexpected happened. Around 11 PM, they announced last call. I was hoping they closed at 1 AM. Now that I am back in Las Vegas, over 1, 000 miles separates me from this Yard House. However, I am experiencing the exact best of times at the Vegas Yard Houses as I did at this one. In a way this location just made me more of a fan of the Yard House. read more

I have really enjoyed this restaurant for both happy hour and dinner. It is always packed due to its popular downtown location, but I always manage to find a seat and service has also always been great. Food orders come up quickly and drinks are made just right. Most recently I met my cousin there for happy hour and we enjoyed the seared ahi tuna, mushroom lettuce wraps, and crab cakes. My cousin hadn't had seared ahi before and was blown away. I order this regularly and was pleased with how generous the offering was, however it wasn't necessarily a 4-star dish. The lettuce wraps were ideal - lettuce was fresh and able to hold the contents inside. I would order this again in a heartbeat. The crab cakes were pretty standard, but good. For drinks we ordered Moscow mules and were both quite happy with our meal. Will continue bringing visitors to this spot! read more

Second time I've sat at the bar in front of Sergei and been totally ignored. Two cute girls walked in after me and we're served right away and got some extra attention. I had to wait for a bartender from the other end before I could get a beer. Once I got a beer, space dust, I really enjoyed it. The vampire taco was nice as well. The bartender was great! The service was perfect during HH. I was happy to actually come to this bar and enjoy my self. Yard House is a chain and has locations in cities across America. The Yard House Seattle is a great bar with central location in downtown Seattle. The ambiance was cool, and relaxed. It wasn't too loud even with there being TV's for sports viewing, which was surprising. We went on a Saturday during happy hour which they have 7 days a week. It wasn't too busy and we found a seat at the bar. They offer a great happy hour menu with both food and drink specials and have a ton of beers on tap. We are from Cali and yard house is a big thing out there! There was one in almost all the local cities. We love yard house and had never had a problem with it until we came to this one. When walking in, the host greeting us was impolite, pretty much rude. It wasn't busy at all. We had 5 adults and 2 kids (6 yr and an infant, which slept the entire time). We ordered our food, which took awhile but we figured it was Sunday around dinner time. I ordered the lobster garlic noodles and specifically said no mushrooms, came out with mushrooms and I was just going to pick them all out BUT there was a ton of mushrooms! So I had to wait for them to remake it while the rest of my table ate their dinner. My 6 yr old niece ordered spaghetti and how could you mess that up right? Well! She refused to eat it and we thought she was just being picky. We tried it and then realized why she didn't want it. It tasted like if someone found an old jar of spaghetti sauce and dumped it in there! It was disgusting! Like how do you mess up something so simple! All in all, we were very disappointed. We went here after PAX, as it was a short walk and they had reservations available. I was really hesitant about this place, as I normally do not crave American style food. I ordered the cheese steak and truffle fries, and oh my gosh..... I'm going back for my anniversary just for these fries. Also, we got a side salad for $5 or something, and it was the size of a regular serving of salad. It was amazing.
