This is the biggest yard house I've ever been to. They always have a handful of quality, filling meat and dairy free options which I love! If you've never been to a yard house, it's a sports bar chain. They always have games going on and their yard glass beer is pretty popular as it's their 32 oz glass that's like a foot and a half tall. The prices can be a bit pricey for the type of establishment you're in but in my case (plantbased diet) it's worth it! My gardein bowl came with a grilled chicken breast, quinoa, asparagus, carrots and snow peas and was very filling! I've never been with a big group but imagine it would be fun and easy as they have lots of group seating. read more

I love Yard House.... I really wish we had them here in Canada. I hadn't been to one in quite a while, so when my coworkers were looking for a place to eat, I excitedly suggested Yard House. There was about a 30 minute wait on a Wednesday and a pretty long line forming behind us. Once we were at our table, our server took our drink menu, but let us know that she also just received a large table (I think it was a 12 top). She apologized in advanced and told us to wave her down if we needed anything. Normally, that would be totally understandable. But we were completely unable to wave her down at any time - and we tried. We actually had to wave down a different server a couple of times to get drinks and stuff. She did apologize again when she came to collect payment. The food and drinks were absolutely the star of the show. So my friend and I after looking for several restaurants on our last day here in this beautiful city had an unfortunate experience here. We sat down we're waited on in a good amount of time. We ordered our food then that's where the fun starts. As we sat two different parties got their appetizers and meals and we didn't even receive our appetizers. We had to flag our server down ask about the food then a while later they brought my friends food, cold, and I'm still waiting on mine. Needless to say we turned down the food and the manager did not charge us and comped us for the drink we had while waiting. We ate here on a Saturday evening at about 5:30 and were able to be seated immediately at the bar (even during the final four of March madness). They offered me a sample of my drink before I ordered it, which was delicious (sunset sangria). We ordered food and one of the two items came and after about 10 minutes, I asked about the other item which they ended up comping and then brought it to us immediately. They were super kind and patient and the atmosphere was great, maybe a little loud if anything. But it was great and I would definitely go back. Awesome service. Super quick and we came during a kraken game. The place is huge! I was surprised about how big it was. Our waitress ginger was awesome. Super nice. We had a bad experience recently. Even though the restaurant was half empty, service was so slow and customer service was poor. We visited during happy hour and asked what was on the happy hour menu. When we ordered, the waitress didn't let us know that one item wasn't on the happy hour menu. We were unaware until we saw the bill. When we spoke with the manager about training or coaching staff to alert customers if their item isn't on the happy hour menu, she was not apologetic or even volunteered to give us the item at the happy hour price. Very spacious bar and restaurant. I like how it's also good for kids. The staff and waiters all work in coordination. Which I think makes things go smoothly. Many beers on tap and T.V.'s for sports. It's pretty loud in there with the music playing. We started with cheese curds and the huge pretzel. Cheese curds were cheesy and yummy. Pretzel was very moist and tasty too. Ahi burger with onions rings-delish. Philly cheesesteak was good too and the Korean cheesesteak was also good too. We immensely enjoyed our food and beer there. I would have given this place a 5 but I didn't receive my beer until like 15 -20 minutes later. Our waitress perhaps didn't put the order in so when I reminded her then she ordered the wrong one she said. So I had to wait again all the while almost done with my meal with me stopping so I could have my beer. Onion rings - old grease, fish and chips - old grease. Chicken wings - no flavor and was previously frozen. Burgers - nope. They keep this place so dark you need a phone light to read the menu. It's dark so customers can't see the rank crap they're trying to pass as food. I don't understand how the quality of food is this bad. Other locations in other states have been great. I don't expect much from chain restaurants, but this Yardhouse is pretty great! Love the food: The onion rings were crisp and tasted good. The four cheese spinach dip can melt in your mouth. The chicken wings both Buffalo & Korean chilli were really good too, you get to pick 2 flavors on your wings, which gives room for some variety. Their beers come in various sizes, would recommend getting a half yard! They also have non alcoholic beers like Heineken zero & lagunitas hoppy. This restaurant is kid / infant friendly, there's a ramp to enter so you can easily bring in a stroller and ample seating at the table to accommodate a kid. They also offer color pens for kids. Reduced a star because the service was mediocre, our waiter forgot our drinks, did not clear the table and had to be requested a few items to get additional condiments but he did not. read more

It's akin to saying Burger King is a medieval themed diner. Anyway, the beer selection is extensive so that's a plus. There's a preponderance of IPAs but they had enough range to keep me interested. I sat at the bar so there was a little more personalized service, and not like the robo-menu push buttons I saw on the tables. They're pretty good with recs and trying things out. We were looking for a place that opened late, so we found this chain restaurant. We weren't expecting much. We were just hoping for edible. This bar/restaurant was shockingly good. We were sat right away. At first, we were sat by the kitchen (not sure if this was because we were with 2 kids), but the greeter was accommodating for another table. We had several items such as Cesar salads, burgers and pasta. All the items were very good and hearty portioned. The server was very nice and attentive. I used to love going to Yard House in San Diego during college, and for a bit after I moved back home to San Jose. Due to its inconvenient location of the crowded trap that is Santana Row, I hadn't been to a Yard House in a while until now. We came for happy hour (HH) which is Monday - Friday 3 - 6 PM and Sunday - Wednesday 10 PM - close. We weren't seated in the bar area so I think it's available at any table, but you can ask to make sure. It's half off select appetizers and all pizzas, $2 off cocktails. Classic Sliders $6.48 (HH): These used to be my go to, and a really good deal at HH. I think it came with 4 sliders and was pretty filling as I had it as my entree. From a long time ago, I thought I remembered the fries being shoestring which I like better. Malibu Peach $9.75 (HH): It seems the martini menu was cut down quite a bit since the last time I visited one. I used to like getting the Sweet Tart martini. This one was pretty good too. Service was great, and our server split up the check for each person no problem. He even split the pizza cost amongst the 3 people who shared it! We paid using the credit card tablet kiosk thing at the table. Now that I've eaten out at more places since my college days, I don't have the urge to come here for cravings sake. But it's a really solid happy hour especially for a group as there should be something to please everyone. ***** My Star Ratings: 1 Star - Terrible. I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon. I ordered wings and a beer. The bartender never mentioned that if I wanted to wait happy hour started in 20 minutes. The wings and service were good. Several of the customers were watching the Phillies playoff game. In the bottom of the ninth inning, some employee charged channels and put CNN on all the TVs that had the game on. It took them 7 minutes to find the manger and figure out how to change the channel back. This ticked-off half of the restaurant. read more

We flew in from Detroit early in the morning, so with the time difference and not eating anything all day, I was full blown hangry by the time we landed in Seattle. We were getting off the light rail in the Westlake station, so I looked for anywhere with lunch and found Yard House right across the street. We were quickly seated and immediately helped by our server, I think his name was Tom. He was fabulous and honestly the happiest guy ever. Every time we ordered something, he seemed excited for us to eat. I instantly ordered the tomato soup so I could have food asap, and it did come quickly too. For lunch, it was perfect. A bit over priced but the portions were at least big enough. The separate vegetarian menu made it easy for me to order, and I went with the vegetarian burger. My boyfriend got the cheesesteak. Both of us thought the food was good. I tried the house IPA and it was just ok. The restaurant is really big with enough space for our bags too. It started to fill up as it got further into lunchtime, but still would be easy to pop in without a wait or a reservation. read more

Yard House is a great place for large groups. They take reservations and will arrange tables so your entire party can sit together. However, it is very dark in there and it can get pretty loud, so just be prepared for that. Overall, I thought the servers were really good. They were knowledgable about the menu. I made some special requests on my meal and it came exactly as I had asked. Also, the servers refilled my drink without me having to say anything. Happy hour is Monday to Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM. Late night happy hour is Sunday to Wednesday, from 10 PM to close. You get 1/2 off select appetizers and pizzas and $2 off beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails. I ordered the Poke Nachos. It was a big, beautiful plate and I thought it was a really good deal during happy hour. However, I won't order it again because I thought it was way too sweet. Next time I will probably order one of the pizzas. The best part about Yard House is the little tablet thingy at each table. In my group, there were people coming and going at different times. You can use the tablet to order food or to cash out. You can also split the check and only pay for certain items. read more

Really spacious and easy place to catch up and have a drink or two. (I can only imagine this place on game days!) I have lots of pictures of everything we ordered, but I think it's safe to say I've had everything on the HH menu. Take advantage of the pricing and try new things!
