Happy hours the best time to come! All yardhouses seem to have the same decor, but they are ALL very big and spacious so theyre perfect for families/big parties. But seriously, the ONLY time to come is during their happy hour. I'm sure all the other items on the menu are great, but it's a little pricey for my taste. We had another great night out thanks to the Yard House. Here's what we ordered: Downtown Brown beer (IDK, my hubby got it)- He loves it and order two. Mocha- I had the mocha coffee and an iced water. It was chilly on Saturday night so the coffee hit the spot. Kung Pao Calamari- very tasty and filling for an app. (we wish there were more candied walnuts though, but still delish!) Peppercorn Gorgonzola burger- Husband had this previously and just thought it was okay. He ordered it medium/well this time and enjoyed a lot more! Some of the peppercorns were a little chewy but just a couple. He said he would order it again. Turkey Burger- This Is the 2nd time I've ordered this and I will continue to order again in the future. The turkey has so much flavor and the tomato, cheese, and garlic aioli, just add to the greatness. It is also very moist! Our server was very sweet too and made sure to check on us often. Even if she didn't stop and ask us how things were every 5 minutes (that can get annoying), I saw her walking by and checking the table. ;) There was also a busser or "helper" that came around and filled my water. I've been coming here for years and have left plenty of good reviews on their kiosk for table service. I'm at the bar now and I wasn't greeted, I wasn't asked what I'd like to drink, I had to ask for a drink and food. The bar isn't even busy right now. I'm done with my food and I still haven't been asked if I'm doing ok or if I need anything else. What has happened to customer service these days? I own a local business and I guess I'm going to stick to supporting local small businesses for my food and beverage. I'm not going to totally discredit them because I'm redoing my review from a good review to a now bad one. Recently I just feel like every visit has left me with something to not like. I started working in the area a year ago and I turned yardhouse into the place we go to before or after work to eat or drink. But me myself personally started off going to the the bar to drink a Diet Coke and eat an appetizer at least once a week. But due to poor service and quality as time went on I found other places to enjoy myself. I haven't been there in a month or two but tonight might have been my last appearance at this location sadly. In my year of consistently coming here no one has ever ID'd me over my Diet Coke and today I had to leave because my Id is in my car on the other side of the mall and I'm on a time crunch for lunch. Went sunday night, and I have to say I kind of prefer this one to the one in Victoria Gardens, because this one is more spacious, and less bro-ish. Our waiter was nice and I give him kudos for having to put up with our party, but he forgot us when we asked him to bring us some cutlery and napkins. He started coming around more often after that, though. The food was good (well, happy hour is great haha!), but the spicy tuna roll is anything but a roll...it's awkward...I miss the rice...I miss the roll-ness of something that's called a spicy tuna roll. The calamari really wasn't calamari, it was more like little octopusses...Maybe I am just more used to the bigger calamari, I don't know. Also, the pizza was super salty, as were the classic sliders, which kinda made us sad. My bearnaise sliders were pretty bomb, though. My friends got 2 cocktails (as did I, but mine was stronger) and theirs almost tasted like candy, which was nice. Came here a year ago for st Patrick day. It was packed but managed to get a table after waiting only about fifteen minutes. They had a big selection of green beer and of course corned beef. Oh yeah! I love yardhouse! This is our "celebration" place. The happy hour is amazing, we mostly go to yardhouse for that! The food is good and for that price you pay, you can't get the quality anywhere else! They have one of the biggest beer tap around, so if you love beer, this place is perfect! The waiters are all really nice, the only down side to yardhouse is the service is a little slow. Sometimes it takes really long for them to get to you, but overall, yardhouse is a really good place to go for happy hour! But the beer battered fish was not good was very chewy and had a bad taste I just doused it in cholula cuz I was hungry after working on the ranch all day. What can I say, Happy Hour always makes me happy =). So I give Yard House 4 stars for the Happy Hour- it's affordable! The cocktail drinks are pretty good. They probably measure the amount of alcohol they use because the drinks are never too strong or too weak. The fresh bake brownie is delicious- comes out warm with a scoop of ice cream =). Not only does Yard House have a great Happy Hour, but they also have a pretty decent lunch special, or what they call "Lunch Pairings." You can choose a half sandwich or pizza and pair it with either a cup of soup or a small salad. You can even do a soup/salad pairing. It's perfect for a light meal. There's not that many options though. Oh well... Me and the girls came in for a celebratory lunch. We got together because we were planning a bachelorette party for one of our friends. First things first... got to cheers with something, so one of my friends orders shots of Patron Silver for the table. Haha... what a great way to start our lunch than a nice shot of tequila in the middle of the afternoon! I ordered off their Lunch Pairings menu. I got a cup of Clam Chowder and the Classic Ranch Salad. I think their clam chowder is pretty good. Creamy and not too thick, however potato to clam ratio is not good. A lot of potatoes, not too many clams. It's not called potato chowder. There wasn't too much going on with the salad.
