Thai pork chop
Angie S.

Comfortable place for lunch. We were seated right away and had a great lunch. I ordered the Thai pork chop which came with much beautiful vegetables, there was a sweet spicy sauce to complement the plate. The pork chop was cooked a bit too well done for my taste, but it had very nice presentation with golden outer which allured me to forget about the dryness from inside. My daughter ordered her favorite pepperoni pizza. It was sufficient for two people- so we took left overs from both orders.

Even on a non-happy-hour night and close to closing time, the bar seating was completely full, which says a lot about how popular this place is for late-night bites. The appetizers were great and there is a large beer selection.

Came in for lunch and, surprisingly, it wasn't too busy. I have to say this was the best Yard House experience I've ever had, and we're big Yard House fans. From the West Coast to New York City, we've tried many locations, but this one had the best food by far. The chicken nachos ended up being the highlight of the meal. I had the poke stack (which I thought had been taken off the menu but so happy to see back), and it was AMAZING. It could use some wontons or tortilla chips on the side, but the flavor was spot-on. My husband's chicken sandwich was great as well. The fries were less memorable, but everything else truly exceeded expectations. Our waitress was kind and overall it was a great experience and I will be back!

Me and my friend decided to stop by Yardhouse on Thursday for a good ol' Happy Hour. I think Yardhouse actually has a legitimate and pretty diverse happy hour where cocktails and wines are discounted AND a good set of appetizers are half off. In this economy...I need it. I ended up ordering one of their mocktails (Hibiscus Mule) and I wanted to add alcohol to it and they were very accommodating. For food I ordered the Poke Nachos which I get all the time because it's soooo good and the portion is perfect. Mini hack: get all the sauces on the side so you can add as much or as little as you want. I also ordered the boneless chicken wings because again...half off. You can get two flavors and I opted for Black Pepper Whiskey and Korean Chili Garlic. There's plenty of space at the bar to catch the game or if you're like me, catch up with your girlfriend and spill all the tea. It's a typical spacious American restaurant with great happy hour prices.

Always a good time at Yard House. We love coming here during happy hour and even though it's crowded the staff is friendly and will do their best to get you seated right away. Today we ordered the calamari (too much breading), poke nacho (very delicious and spicy), and lettuce wrap (contains chicken and tofu totally yum). Overall good time. Took forever to get our drinks and napkins but it finally came. Indoor ambiance is lively and has lots of tv monitors for viewing.

I can't recall having a wack experience at any Yard House whether it's Riverside, LB, Burbank or LA. Ken was our waitress and did a fine job with the orders. She was attentive and ensured our glasses were full. This was my first time having a burger, so I ordered the Whiskey & Aged White Cheddar. It came with "proprietary U.S.D.A. prime blend, whiskey glaze, aged white cheddar, crimini mushrooms, horseradish aioli. with house fries." I was craving mushrooms, so this was an excellent choice.

The atmosphere was cute and comfortable. Me and my friend went here after a comedy show. The food however was too salty, we got the tacos and it was a bit hard to eat. The rice and beans were good though. The pizza also had a disproportionate amount of chicken on it, but it did taste good. The calamari was amazing. Overall the food was okay, maybe other items would have been better. The service was great though, they were quick and friendly.

Came here on a Friday evening during happy hour and it was packed by 4:30pm. The check-in system was convenient--they text a link so you can track your spot in line, and we were seated in about 25 minutes as estimated. It was nice not having to wait inside since they text when your table is ready. Happy hour had some great deals. My friend ordered her go-to, the Everything Crusted Ahi Tuna Sandwich with fries ($19.49), which she rated a 9/10. She also tried the cheese curds appetizer ($6.75 HH) and thought they were just okay (6/10). I ordered the fried calamari ($7.75 HH) and the classic sliders with fries ($7.75 HH). Both were good but not standout, about a 7/10. My friend also enjoyed the Orange Yardsicle Martini which was $11.49 (8/10). Service was excellent--our server was friendly, attentive, and the food arrived quickly. The atmosphere is lively, with music and TVs, making it a fun spot for groups, though not ideal for a quiet conversation. Overall, good food, great service, and a fun vibe. Be prepared for a wait, but I'll definitely be back!

Love their happy hour! Came around 3 pm on a Monday and was seated immediately. Such an affordable deal for an after work treat. Really good service and extremely attentive especially with how busy it was. Favorite items were the new truffle and mushroom pizza and the classic poke nachos. Really good drinks as well like the new "Kish and Tell." Always a go-to spot when we're in Riverside.

Watery/soggy pizza

I will not go back to this place. It is overpriced and the food is horrible. The margherita pizza I got was watery which made the crust soggy and it was bland. Someone in my family ordered the Korean BBQ Cheesestake sandwich and after a few bites they realized there was mayo in the middle (they hate mayo with a passion). Maybe this place is good to go have drinks and hang with friends at the bar, but I do not recommend this place to go with family. The server was not really friendly or welcoming but did fine besides taking a while to bring the drinks/refills.

It's been a while since I've been here. The service was a bit slow today I would have given them 5 stars but it took a while before out waitress took our order. The food was well prepared and cooked to order. Normally the service is on point here, but for some reason it was a bit longer and it was disappointing.

Great flavor that one of my favorites!!

One of my favorite restaurant to enjoy food , drinks and company without sacrificing your wallet . Service is fast even on busy night , and friendly . Ambiance is one the best in riverside specially if you sit at the bar . Enjoy

My friend's shepherd pie was huge!

There really wasn't anything wrong with the pot pie, it just didn't taste as good as I had hoped, so I didn't eat much of it. Our waitress noticed I didn't eat much of the pot pie and asked me if there was anything wrong. I told her that in my opinion, it didn't have much flavor and that I didn't care for it. She was apologetic and said I should of told her sooner and she would of brought something else for me. I said, it really wasn't a big deal, that I'm sure other people enjoy the chicken pot pie. Next thing I know, the manager Clark comes over and tells me he wants to take the pot pie off my bill. I told him that it wasn't necessary, that I did eat some of it and I should pay for it. He insisted to take the pot pie off my bill. Said he wanted his customers to be happy. He then asked if my friend and I wanted to share a dessert and showed us the options. We chose the S'mores brownie. We didn't want a full size, so he offered a smaller option. The dessert came and it was very large to be a small serving. And let me tell you, it was absolutely beyond delicious! My friend and I were so impressed with the generosity of Clark the manager and how he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. That is what I call great customer service and a manager that really cares about making sure his customers are happy when they leave. Even though I'm not a fan of the Pot Pie, I know that their food is still amazing. I will be coming back again and again.

I chose the garden salad, Western tri-tip, the brisket, and Mac N Cheese. The salad was absolutely delicious!! I dug into it before I took a pick so it's blended together but it had the most delicious croutons and fire grilled corn. The ingredients were really fresh and the salad was not over dressed. The sliders were also really good, however, my first bite of the Western one was literally all fat and I had to spit it out. It made the rest of the sandwich unappetizing but I did hunt for any other major fat pockets and didn't see any. Both sliders were really good. My friend said the seasoning on the "frachos" was good, and I said it could be the gochujang sauce. We laughed at the shape of how the potatoes were cut (maybe peeled?), as it was unexpected haha. It had the perfect ratio of fries to beef to toppings (red chili peppers, red onion, cilantro)! My friend got full from half of his sandwich, as it was packed with a lot of protein! Interior is pretty, and I personally enjoyed that the lighting was dim. It was actually really quiet for being/having a bar. Situated in a seedy corner lot on Magnolia and Harrison, don't let the semi-dilapidated surroundings fool you; this place is no joke. Try not to let your guard down while you are eating truly the best burger you can get in Riverside. The price is fair, but can add up quick as refills are not self serve or free and additional sauces (beyond ketchup and similar condiments) are not complimentary. Ranch is just shy of a dollar at .90¢. As much as I loathe paying extra for sauces, the amount of fries they give you seems to justify the upcharge, but, in my opinion, they should charge for EXTRA sauces and maybe include one with a combo. Seems nitpicky but those who need ranch with their fries can sympathize. Their breakfast special is fine, and you very much get what you pay for price and food wise. Again, start adding sides and the price becomes reminiscent of non-fast food sit down diner prices and, to me, that is not justifiable here. As far as other things on the menu, I cannot vouch for the wildly popular breakfast burritos but they were being ordered nonstop while I was visiting. I have tried the pastrami but it was very salty; but that's the nature of the game. With a menu like this, you are bound to hit a roadblock at some point. Just come back and try again. All that being said, this place really is quality and gives a quantity that you don't really see very often. My personal suggestion would be to get a chocolate milkshake with the burger combo, that's what really makes this place a 5/5. You won't regret it. Those in the know, know about George's. I did not end up leaving until 7:47pm. I watched them place a box on the top shelf of the stove containing an order, but I figured it was someone else's pick up order. I then proceeded to watch 5 customers after me walk up to the window, place their order, and then leave with their food in a timely manner. I took my receipt to the pick up window and the cashier immediately knew who I was, grabbed the box I saw them place on the shelf, and then told me they're just waiting on the cheese that I asked to be set on the side. Not sure if asking for the cheese to be on the side merited me waiting over 20mins. Mind you I would have been perfectly okay if she said it couldn't be done. I just wouldn't have ordered them.
