We were not attended at all. We were able to get our appetizer because I input it into the device on the table but other than that we were not attended at all. We made ourselves known to our nice host but we waited still and nobody came. I tried to pay for the bill but it wasn't going through. Even though we had an issue the manager came out, and I have never experienced such poise and responsibility from an individual in such a busy environment. He created an understanding and mature sub environment and was such a pleasure. He insisted on being kind, and rather than just "comping to shut us up", he wanted to make us feel welcomed and know that we aren't just customers but established guests. If I could leave 10 stars I would. We were a group of 22. The servers Ken & Kennedy went above and beyond fantastic service. They knew the menu, they were on point with the drinks too. That is a hard job to serve that many people while being that organized. Kennedy and Ken worked as a team and it showed. The manager was very nice too. The food was excellent. I haven't had a normal chicken breast at a restaurant in so long. Others use the crappy flash frozen chicken that is hard and tasteless. This place actually prepares your food for you. They do not just heat up some food that has been previously prepared. Even the pineapple on my meal was fresh. It meant even more to us to have such good service because we were there for my husband's funeral. Been coming to this location for years. I mean YEARS. Since high school. Got a visit in this past weekend after a 3-4 year hiatus. Wait was about 25 minutes on the tail end of a Friday HH. We actually only waited for about 10 mins and got called for a seat. Walked in and the hosts gestures us to wait on the side because once "she" comes back, she'll get us seated. Well I don't know which "she" it is because there's 5 hosts in the front that are all going back and forth. Wtheck. Another 10 min goes by and a bunch of "she"s are walking back and forth until we ask about our table and asks for a name. Except...our name was also another party's name too. Causes some confusion between everyone. In the end, us patrons worked out the confusion amicably instead of the hosts (thanks for nothing?). One thing was for sure, is that I was so determined to order their truffle fries. I remember them being one of my favorite items on the menu. Ordered them and to my surprise the potatoes are cut different. Before, the fries used to be pretty thin with no showing of the potato skin. Now, the fries are medium cut with the showing of the potato skin. Still has the strong truffle flavor with a sprinkle of parmesan, but I don't think I'll order this again. Next, we got the ahi poke nachos, which I think is actually pretty good. Sure the ahi tuna pieces are cut to the size of a lego, but I enjoyed this. Next, we got the BBQ chicken pizza. Not terrible, but also not something to write home about either. What I did appreciate is I ordered a beer and by the time the food runner came to deliver beers, she let me know they were changing the keg so they gave me a small sampler of another one. Very thoughtful and great communication. We ended our meal with the creme brulee cheesecake. It was a cheesecake in the shape of a circle with the caramelized sugary hard top just like a creme brulee with a sliced strawberry. It was decent. Good enough to keep eating but not that good where I'd order again. Would I come back? Sure thing. Good enough food and great selections of beer.
