Before Covid regulations, I've been into Yard House a handful of times & have never been disappointed with the food. Today I was on a time crunch & couldn't step out to order lunch, so I used Grubhub to order their Baja Tacos & Kale salad with salmon. Very very disappointed. My guacamole on my shrimp tacos was brown, the shrimp were over salted & the limes provided in the dish were brown, bitter and bone dry. The kale salad had a very weird smell to it & some of the cherry tomatoes were squishy & yellow. The dressing for the salad was way too thick & the little piece of salmon I paid extra for was way too small. Super disappointing to say the least. read more

We did graduation dinner here last night. We were a party of 20 plus. I don't think they were expecting such a rush but Justin the manager and his team adjusted as quickly as possible. This Yard House was packed and we decided to eat at the bar. No problem for our little threesome. The poke nachos were good! The rest of my food was not unusual one way or another. The bartender we had was not on his game and didn't quite know his menu. I asked if the clam chowder had pork in it. He said "yes." Another server delivered my friend's clam chowder and she asked if we were doing ok. I asked her about the clam chowder and she went to the back to ask. She went above and beyond during a really busy time and took a 3-STAR night to a 4 STAR experience. I think I would like to give a lot of consideration to service; this Yard House and the staff that highlighted their service skills makes this place an easy repeat option when I'm out this way. I loved this place until my last visit . Went to dinner with my hubby and ordered a mule drink . I'm drinking out of my straw . Hubby takes a drink and passes it back . He looks at the cup and asks if I drank from the glass . I say no why . He says are you wearing lipstick . Me no why . There was lipstick on my cup . A whole orange lip print . So nasty . Our first time to this location and our waitress was so friendly. Wish we remembered her name. The food was good and everything came out in perfect timing allowing us to enjoy each dish. Truth be told, is rather spend my money elsewhere... However in Lancaster/Palmdale the only other 'elsewhere' is Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and Chili's. Sooo.... This place is the lesser of all corporate evils. Can't deny it, the beer selection may be the best in town. Actually, I'm pretty sure it is. On the food side of things, I noticed I stick to the seafood section (everyone should be eating more fish!! Omega 3s people!!). And the seared ahi is my go to... However ask for the sauce on the side. The chef gets happy sometimes and then your fish is swimming in teriyaki. Service is moderate to average. I wish our waitress would have come to the table more often. I wasn't paying attention, maybe she was swamped with tables, but I could have used her on more than one occasion... And it's particularly annoying when the occasion is waiting to order a beer. I hear this place gets crazy on the weekends with locals. Can't wait to come and observe the flora and fauna of the antelope valley. Maybe there will be mating rituals! Who knows?! Oh. And stay away from the maple dressing/dip for the sweet potato fries. Quite possibly the worse thing I've put in my mouth, and trust me when I tell you I've put some pretty disgusting things in my mouth. read more

In the past, my daughter and I have very much enjoyed the happy hour at your establishment. Not so last week. We were both disappointed in the quality of both the food and drink. We ordered Long Beach Teas, a drink that has several types of alcohol. They tasted watered down and the color of the drink was very pale, like maybe the bartender forgot the rum. And maybe he forgot other things too because the drink tasted and looked like pink lemonade, and I don't mean hard lemonade. No buzz! Next the food: we ordered sliders and nachos. The nachos were good. But the sliders! I have raved to friends about how the sliders are so good at Yard House with Juicy meat, soft buttered buns, melted cheese and tomatoes. NOT THESE. The meat was dry, over-cooked and chewy. The buns were dried out and hard. The cheese was not melted. Seemed to be missing the thousand island sauce. Also missing the tomato slices. Since both the food and the drink was not up to par, I must conclude that corners are being cut to meet economic challenges. Also in the past, the happy hour was so crowded that the wait time for seats was long. Not on this visit. The place was almost empty! Is there a correlation here?? We should have complained to our waitress while there, but we were engaged in lively conversation and didn't really stop to think about the food experience until after we left. Now we are left pondering if we should return to YH ...or try some other happy hour places where they can pour a proper drink and be consistent in the quality of their food presentation. I am giving a generous three stars because we have had happy experiences here I the past, and we hope things will improve in the future. read more

I've usually had a meh experience at most Yard Houses, but everything I had was really good this night. I had the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque with avocado, and it was delicious. I'm going to order it every time I go to Yard House from now on. I also had Moscow Mule, that was surprisingly refreshing and tasty, without being sweet. I've been here twice since last time and while the food has been ok, the service has been awful. I got the gardein chicken bowl and there was so much oil it was almos inedible. The second time I got the gardein chicken strips which were delicious. However, we ordered beers and those did not come until after we asked and they finally brought them after our meal came. Long after we were done the waitress never returned to our table or brought the bill. We had to go get her in order to get the bill and leave. Although they paid for the first round of beers because of the long wait, the overall experience was dissappointing and I would choose to dine elsewhere. read more

We decided to have dinner at The Yard House on Saturday May 10, 2014 which it Mexican Mother's Day. We were prepared to wait to be seated since it was going to be busy. When we arrived, we were greeted by a the wonderful hosts in the front. The host told us it would be about a 45 minute to 1 hour wait. So we decided to visit the store next door while we waited for our table. Our table was ready after only waiting for 30 mins. The host walked us to our table which was towards the back corner of the restaurant. It was a perfect table for us since the restaurant really busy. Our waitress came to our table with a big smile & introduced herself. She was very polite & friendly. She took our order for our drinks & faves us time to decide what we were going to have for dinner. We decided to have a half yard of Angry Orchard. Our waitress brought our drinks & took our order. We decided to try the lobster shrimp artichoke dip. We both had the spicy jambalaya. I also had a bowl of calm chowder. After a few sips of my drink, the server brought our appetizer. The dip was hot & delicious. The calm chowder is also really good. Our waitress kept checking up on to make sure we were doing good. She kept our glasses of water full which is nice. A lil bit after finishing our appetizer, the server brought out of dinner. The spicy jambalaya look so good. Our dinner was steaming hot which is nice to get our food hot. Everything smelled & tasted so good. The portions are big, so you can take some home. I recommend you try the spicy jambalaya next time you visit the yard house. After we were done eating, sat back & continued enjoying our drinks. Our waitress asked us if we like to have dessert, but unfortunately we had to pass on dessert. She brought us our check & paid for our dinner. I, then thanked our waitress for the excellent service. I told her people like her make people like myself come back. The entire staff at this Yard House great. My experience at this Yard House was awesome. They made my wife & I feel like we were the only couple there. We check in to be told our reservation was for 3 people when we put in for 5. We were told we had to wait for a table to clear. We asked approximately how much longer. She said the party had been there for 1 hour so probably not much longer. We left to eat elsewhere. One and half hour later we get a text our table is ready. I dined here two weeks ago and I was glad I gave it a second chance. This time I sat in a both in the back close to the kitchen. My waitress was very friendly and took care of me very well. The manager (I think) even stopped by to ask me if everything was going okay. It was nice of him, and I appreciated that. I had grilled Korean pork belly taco platter, and sweet potato fries with maple bacon cream dip. The dip was amazing! First time was about a month ago, and I sat in the bar area where they have tall chairs and tables. Once my food was brought out, my waiter never came back. I remember I needed a refill on my drink because I was eating spicy jambalaya but couldn't find him. Once I was done eating, I had to wait for a while before he showed up. We went here with colleagues from my company as well as the sponsor on business travel. Overall: - Great selection of beers. If I was here with my wife I would of ordered a flight - Service was really good - Very pricey I chose the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger for $14. I was glad I could switch it out the fries for a small salad (for no additional charge). The salad was really good and fresh. The burger was kind of boring.. I was expecting a more flavorful BBQ sauce. I've had much better at Red Robin. I doubt I'd go back (or at least for this option). read more

Let's start with the fact that if I could give negative stars, I would. This is a nasty, disgusting, dirty place to eat. My moms fork was dirty and had old food on it, my plate had a hair on it, my vegetables tasted like dirty (definitely didn't taste like they were washed before hand), and my salad looked like old limp lettuce that was used (not fresh at all). This is ridiculous considering there's a pandemic going on, so giving dirty dishes is dangerous and unexceptable. However, the servers were nice and concerned. Yup, yup, I love this Yardhouse, second time here. It is a big restaurant and bar area. I wonder what was here before? Than again I don't spend time in Palmdale as I usually just pass through going to Mammoth or home from Mammoth. TV's all around. The food is GREAT especially during happy hour time. Sliders, hot wings, and more. So I had turkey burger sliders and the original cheeseburger sliders...One with original fries and the other with Truffle Fries. Yum truffle fries.
