Natalie was an absolute rockstar! We came in for happy hour on a major game day and waited about 30 minutes to be seated which was not bad. Ambiance was very lively and loud. We were so lucky to have Natalie initially and we all loved her. As busy as they were, she was so attentive and made sure everyone was comfortable and our order was right. She was so friendly and personable. We ordered quite a bit to share and the top items were the sliders (both with cheese and no cheese) the pizza, the chicken wraps, and the tuna. I did not enjoy the Brussels (they were overly sauced and overcooked) nor the noodles because they were oddly sweet. I was told that the cheese curds were also not worth ordering. Everything came out fast and hot. The servers that took over for Natalie was no where to be found until check time, so we didn't get water refills, but other than that it was a good experience.

Visited Yard House @ The Collection in Oxnard a few times recently. Free parking available in the nearby parking lots, as well as metered paid parking just outside of the restaurant. Free garage parking if you don't mind taking a little stroll. Yard House has an extensive Beer Menu & plenty of food options. Had good food & good service the last few times I visited. Shoutout to the gals Deliah, Payton & Carlie. Thank you for providing such great service! Keep it up girls! Expect wait times, especially on the weekends or when there's sports. Bar area can appear busy. But, there are plenty of TV's at the bar. It's definitely loud here & expect a dim environment. Pro Tip: For Dine In... You can Join the waitlist online if you're early enough to get on the waitlist. Just check-in at the front when you arrive & depending on the wait, they will text you when a spot opens up.

Our wait time for a booth was 25 minutes but we were seated by 15. The waitress made her rounds pretty regularly so we were able to ask for hot sauce and salt when we wanted. Super busy and packed on a Saturday night. I like the device on every table that showed pictures of the food on the menu. I really like the taco flight. I got the Korean fried chicken, beer battered cod, and the birria. Very exciting flavors. I thought the chicken needed more sauce. It should be dripping with garlickiness. I think corn tortillas might hold the sauce better as the flour tortillas got soggy fast.

Dined at the Yard House on a Friday night. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait. We went to the bar ordered a cocktail and 10 minutes later the bartender invited us to sit at the bar as two seats opened up. Turned out to be great because we decided to order our food and dine at the bar. We ordered the Poke nachos and Szechuan crispy beef noodles. Both delicious. Just about finished when our table became ready. It was way more fun for the two of to watch the bartenders in action.

Lots of seating and also patio seating. But for so many tables, it seems they are always understaffed and you have to look for your waiter and wave to them. They do have the ipads at the tables, but if you want something special you need to wait a lot to grab someone's attention. The food was ok. I did like the poke nachos, but the rest of the food was just blah. Parking is available because it in the Collection, but if you want something closer to the restaurant, you might not be able to get any spots. Good vibes for those seated at the bar. The rest of the place was ok

Came here for a meeting lunch for happy hour and it was a great time. Though the cheese curds came out a little later than anticipated, they were hot and fresh. The chicken nachos are definitely a two-person meal or a "now and later" type of dish. At the start of happy hour it was very quiet, quiet enough to talk at normal levels. However the moment 5pm hit the traffic picked up! Our waitress was great and attentive to our needs. She checked in with us constantly. We always enjoy our time here.

Love the drinks and service here. Always a good place to come with friends. Just be prepared to wait if you come on a busy night which honestly is everyday of the week I notice now. People come here to watch sports and a lot of team building tables during the evening like 2pm. Do the waitlist in person at the front desk. Don't rely on your phone for the waitlist. One time, I had put myself on the waitlist on the way and the server said it was not valid. Other than that, this place is the spot to be.

I stopped by Yard House for happy hour and really enjoyed the experience. The drink specials were great and the appetizer selection had a lot of variety. Everything came out hot and tasty, especially the Brussels sprouts and pizza.

We tried the egg roll sampler, including the cheeseburger eggrolls, 5/5 stars, avocado eggrolls 5/5 stars and Tex Mex egg rolls 6/5 stars and because, I wasn't a fan of the chicken taquitos I opted to double up on the cheese burger eggrolls rolls, the rest was enjoyable enough for a four-star visit. The service was very slow for how un-busy the bar area was, and our drinks weren't kept filled, which took away from a better experience .3/5 stars The desserts were great, especially the peach cheesecake with raspberry drizzle 5/5 stars traditional tiramisu 5/5:stars and key lime cheesecake 5/5 stars but the Fresh Strawberry Shortcake was a huge disappointment because it was strawberries, whipped cream, ice cream their regular biscuits instead of a true shortcake. 2/5 stars. Those two stars are for the strawberries and whipped cream the rest of the dessert was pretty disappointing I'm really glad that I ordered the peach cheesecake because my wife was totally disappointed in the shortcake using biscuits instead basically for traditional Cheesecake Factory desserts. I would come back for the cheesecakes and tiramisu, but I would recommend you not order the strawberry shortcake as I would, again unless they change the recipe

I understand everyone has off days, especially when it's hot and busy, so I tried to be patient. However, the service was extremely slow. We were there for about two hours, and while she checked on us a few times, the overall experience felt awkward and inattentive. It was my 4-year-old daughter's birthday, and she excitedly kept telling our server. The response was simply, "Okay, do you want to order a cheesecake?" My daughter said yes, and I told the server that was fine. Before asking what flavor she wanted, the server immediately walked away. My daughter loudly said she wanted the Oreo cheesecake, which the server must have heard because that's what she eventually brought. What bothered me the most happened when my daughter and I went to the restroom. I frequently dine out alone with my daughter, and whenever we leave the table, I make sure to let someone know so they don't think we've left. While we were gone, a busser left a large bus tub on our booth seat. When we came back, I stood up near our table saying "Excuse me" several times, trying to get someone's attention. Multiple employees walked right past me without acknowledging me, and a few bussers just stared while I was clearly trying to get help. We were seated only one table away from the kitchen, so it was especially frustrating. Finally, a man walked by, and when I asked if he worked there, he said yes and removed the bin. Overall, the service felt inattentive, the staff seemed disengaged, and the entire experience was uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this visit wasn't worth the money, and I won't be returning.

We came here to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We each ordered a cocktail. She got a blueberry margarita and I got a cucumber gin mixed drink. Both were refreshing and delicious. We ended up ordering another round. For appetizers we ordered the crispy maple Brussels and tuna & salmon tartare. The Brussels were fried to perfection and glazed a sweet maple syrup. It also came with thick cuts of bacon. Definitely recommend this. For the tartare, it was also delicious and fresh. It was mixed with avocado and turnip. We thought the turnip would be off putting but it actually meshed well with the flavors. Came with fried wonton chips. For the main course we shared the NY strip and Lobster Malfaldine. The steak was cooked to perfection with a very nice sear and flavored well. Probably one of the better steaks I've ever had. Definitely beats out any steakhouse steak. The Lobster Malfaldine was also absolutely delicious. Most of the time, lobster pasta is usually a bit bland and lacking in lobster. NOT HERE. They included big chunks of lobster and the sauce was so good. Lastly, we ended our dinner with the Strawberry Hand Pie. This is basically a warm strawberry strudel with vanilla bean ice cream. They used locally sourced strawberries and I'm still thinking about it as I'm writing this review. Adrienne was our server and she was very nice and attentive. Since it was my girlfriend's birthday, they comped our dessert. Super nice staff!

I'm really glad he did because it's the kind of place I probably wouldn't have found on my own. The first thing that caught our attention was the self-serve wine dispensers lined with bottles ready to sample. We had a lot of fun walking back and forth, looking over the different selections, and deciding what to taste next. Being able to sample wines by the ounce before committing to a full glass made the whole experience feel interactive. I especially liked that I could compare different Cabernet Sauvignons side by side, which isn't something you get to do very often. After trying a few different Cabernets, Chimney Rock ended up being my favorite. The dining room added to the experience. The cave-like ceilings, warm lighting, and comfortably spaced tables made it easy to settle in, enjoy our lunch, and catch up without feeling cramped or rushed. If you enjoy trying different wines, it's easy to lose track of time here. We started with a cheese plate, which turned out to be much more generous than I expected. It came with a nice assortment of cheeses, crisp apple slices, grapes, candied walnuts, crostini, and a savory relish on the side. It was a great dish to share with our wine. My friend ordered the tuna poke tower, and we shared the cheese flatbread and sweet potato fries. I went with the Original Cave Salad with salmon, which came with a generous piece of perfectly cooked salmon over fresh greens, apples, grapes, walnuts, and blue cheese. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous enough that we left completely satisfied. One thing I appreciated was that we never felt rushed. Lunch naturally turned into an afternoon of catching up, comparing notes on the different wines, and deciding which pours we wanted to try next. Before we left, we wandered through the wine shop one more time. If you discover a favorite during lunch, you can pick up a bottle before heading home, which is a nice touch. I'm really glad my friend found this place. The next time I'm in Ventura, it'll definitely be on my list again.
