We stopped in for a quick lunch before our movie and had a wonderful experience. Our server was friendly, attentive, and accommodated our schedule with prompt, intuitive service. We enjoyed all of our dishes, which were delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with the FIFA World Cup playing on the TVs, adding to the excitement. A great spot for a relaxing meal before catching a movie.

Normally when coming I get the Lobster Garlic noodles but I wanted something on the healthier side today and the Shrimp Bowl was definitely a good pick. Very flavorful and nutritious.

Each time I go to Yard House I like it more and more. I met a friend for happy hour on a Friday. I never did happy hour on a weekday before and it is a great deal! Beers are $3 off and most pizzas are half price. I had Velvet Hammer which is dark and smooth. Great flavor and taste. The carnivore pizza was outstanding. Fresh tasting crust, with ample toppings of different meats. The bacon gives it a slightly smoky flavor. The crust is thin and crispy. Our waitress McKenzie was attentive and efficient. The ambience cannot be beat. The restaurant is still clean after all these years. The booths and chairs are in good shape. There is an incredible list of beers. I have never sat at the bar but there are big screens to watch the game if you are so inclined. Overall, everything about this place is great: ambience, service, food, and beer selection. If I lived closer, I would be here once a week.

The lobster garlic noodles are consistently good, however a couple of times I had to send it back because I bit down onto a shell. Hopefully that just means it's fresh. The drink was made perfectly.

Popular spot with the professional crowd for happy hour, and with good reason. Half-off appetizers and drink specials make it an affordable place to meet after work. Cheeseburger sliders, which come with a generous portion of parmesan fries, are my favorite app. Cheese curds are also excellent, and the peppered ahi tuna is especially tasty at half off during happy hour. Excellent selection of draft beer, including several local Texas options. Only drawback is that the parking is almost always full after work, but the long walk to the parking garage is a good way to walk off some calories.

Omg. Had to come back and update my review as I just had girls night here last night. Michael was a fantastic server! He recommended the poke nachos, and they had soooo much flavor. The firecracker shrimp was beautiful with the rice that was a bite crispy, yummy. The chicken nachos were great too and so much food! We also got truffle fries and calamari. I'm not a huge calamari fan but it wasn't rubbery like some places which is good, all the girls loved it. Truffle fries were also really good. Everything was perfect. The drinks were all great tasting and strong. Honestly my favorite place for a girls night!

I walk by this place all the time and I finally decided to dine in. The atmosphere was cool and friendly. The service was good and consistent. I ordered the Grilled Chicken & Avocado Sandwich. The sandwich was 5/5. I think it was the cumin and chili rub paired with the roasted tomatoes that did it for me. The tomatoes were sweet and really set everything off. The sandwich came with fries that were just okay. I'll probably opt for the sweet potato fries next time.

Been awhile since I've been at Yard House and our waiter was great and accommodating. We started with the fried calamari which was yummy, and the sauces had great flavor. Then we ordered the Kurobuta pork & Korean bbq cheesesteak. The kurobuta pork has some flavors like arugula, candied bacon and blueberry, but all the flavors went really well together and was on the sweet side. The Korean bbq cheesesteak was another great dish. It was more towards the savory side and wasn't too spicy. It was the perfect take on the cheesesteak. Overall, we were very happy with the lunch and service here.

went here with a group of friends as a birthday outing! seating was spacious and for a group of 6 we had no wait. I had (not pictured) the korean bbq cheesesteak and wow I was impressed. i'm a huge bread person so that was my first thought and overall it was really flavorful. they also have a good happy hour! great specials on food and drinks

Yard House in Addison is always a win for us! The vibe is fun and energetic, but the real stars of the show are the onion rings and the drinks. The onion rings are hands down some of the best we've ever had -- perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and that tower presentation just makes them even better. They're addictive! And the drinks? Top tier. Whether you're in the mood for a craft beer, a refreshing cocktail, or something new to try, they have an amazing selection and everything is made perfectly. Great atmosphere, great service, and consistently delicious food and drinks. We'll definitely keep coming back!

So five years later, I finally made it back here! This time I came for happy hour, and I can honestly say this is one of the best happy hours (if not the best), in the area. The price point + the portion size = an absolute STEAL!!! Also - the service was phenomenal, our server was ON IT the whole time and had great recommendations! To kick things off, I opted for the Pina Spritz mocktail. It was SO refreshing, well-balanced, perfectly sweet, and such a treat!! For our meals, this time around, my friend and I got the classic sliders, with truffle fries and the hand-battered chicken tenders. The truffle fries were BOMB!! The sliders were juicy and delicious and the sauce they came with was awesome! The tenders were standard, not the best I've had, but certainly not the worst. The batter/chicken just needed more seasoning and the chicken itself could've been more tender/juicy. For the price point though?? I can't really complain!! I am so excited to come back and try the rest of the Happy Hour Menu!!

    Poke Nachos! Great!!

Great food and service again! I love that they allow dogs on their patio. Can't go wrong with poke nachos and a burger. If you can, get Yessie! She is fantastic!

So is the late night happy hour after 9:30 pm here really gone?

Yes, it's gone. Along with good service!

What type of music does Yard house play?

Hi Jacques R.! We like to rock out to some Classic Rock hits most of the time, but on weekends we like to mix in a variety of contemporary tracks, too. Hope this helps!…

The only reason I dropped my rating from 5 to 4 stars is that even in 100 degree weather they keep a huge service window open so the bar is accessible both inside and outside. This practice is hugely irresponsible to the environment, to the Texas power grid and residents, and to those of us paying our bill here knowing we are footing that bill.

A Wednesday night with the place less than 1/3 full, so it was relatively quiet for this type of restaurant and decent for conversation. Eventually one guy had his entree' Caesar salad served, which he finished before the next dish arrived. A few more came sporadically over another 15 minutes, the rest arrived in bursts like it should. The food arrived in the all too common practice of showing up tableside as the staff holds it above eye level while shouting "WHO HAD THE blah blah?", instead of using an order seating system and just quietly serving it without having to shout at everyone up and down a long table 16 to 30 times. Personally, this type of dinner service really bothers me as it shatters any ambiance the place may have had, and kills conversation. It shows the wait and kitchen staff lack training and organization skills, but worse, that they have no concept of what dining out is, or should be. This isn't the Catfish Shack guys, get a grip. Unfortunately, I ordered the Cobb Salad which was sub par made with hamburger toppings, factory diced iceberg lettuce, diced tomato, diced egg, diced avocado, with all appearances of being shaken out of a bag, unfortunately with the wrong dressing. Dressing was on the side, thankfully, so that was fixable by flagging staff and waiting another ten minutes. It might have been resolved faster had waitstaff asked how is everything??? The Cobb was 75% of an entree serving but more than enough given what it was. A friend had the glazed salmon and rice which looked very good, other entrees looked fair, some of generous proportion. Unfortunately , as this is a larger restaurant with nice covered patio seating, it is possibly the worst of the lot as Preston/121 location is top notch in comparison. It is in need of decent management, perhaps to train/retrain the whole staff. Rather disappointing. I have no desire to return to this location.

It's definitely different than sitting in the bar section in very small tables and booths next to the bar. I would never choose to sit in the tables in the bar area. Unfortunately, as our luck would have it, whenever we select the standard seating, we tend to be sat in the small bar tables. This time I asked them to move us. They accommodated us (there were two large booths available in the main area), but the attitude was not great in doing so. The bar seating issue is enough to make me think about whether I want to go there again. Our server, Madison, was great. She was helpful, friendly, communicated well, and let us set the pace. Started with cocktails, which was an interesting experience, because the bar had some difficulties and so each of four drinks was brought out one at a time with a few minutes in between each. I had booked a reservation on Resy and we were seated immediately in a small, intimate booth. Initially, it was not terribly loud, but as the evening progressed and several large parties were seated nearby; the sound of the music was completely drowned out. I think more noise abatement measures could be taken to absorb some of the obtrusive loudness we were getting. For a starter, we ordered the Calamari. It was fried perfectly and was great, but the Thai Sticky sauce was too sweet and the consistency of the sauce was thin. It needed something to make it more viscous, and a secondary sauce, like a marinara or even an aioli would've been nice to balance out the sweetness of the Thai sauce. For an entree, I ordered the Maple- Ginger Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and itself was delicious, but the sauce was too sweet and rich. The fired rice that accompanied my meal was over-the-top salty. It was almost going into "too much" territory. For desert we split the Passion Fruit Ice Cream Pie. This was actually very good and not overly sweet. It was my favorite item from my meal. Overall Renny's truly employs a lot of care and attention to the food, but some of the items crossed a line into "too much" territory. Be it sweetness or saltiness, the kitchen could exercise a bit of restraint to let the flavors of the food shine.
