So it was later in the evening this past Friday, and I took my two kids and a family friend with us to dinner at Yardhouse. Now I've always been a fan of their food and customer service. It just depends on who you get but as of last night service was just all around GARBAGE. When I get there, let them know. I would like a booth and they say no problem. I need to wait about 10 minutes which I was totally fine with waiting. The problem is when they took us to our booth in the middle of the restaurant. Another server had already given that booth to somebody else so we had to walk back through the restaurant to go back and sit down by the host stand. Then they call us again because another booth is ready. I told them I'm not walking through the restaurant again to be turned around. So we started off with four glasses of water in a Moscow Mule and an appetizer. The waitress who was taking her orders, definitely sounded, and felt like she didn't want to be there. She threw the straws on the table that were covered in some kind of sticky liquid. The food came out great (hence the two stars). Lastly trying to pay became a challenge as well. The portable screen at the table would not let us checkout so I had to flag down another server to pay because we never saw ours again. Just a hot mess for served with dinner. read more

I'm not sure if finally dining at Yard House was a good or bad thing since I want to throw my entire pay check here every week. The food is insanely delicious. There is so much flavor in every bite of whatever it is you choose. I personally love the Kurobuta burger, as well as the Nashville Hot Chicken & Pancakes. The portion sizes are large enough to take leftovers home. Be sure to visit but be warned that you'll be addicted. read more

I visited Yard House on two occasions after it was recommended by friends, but unfortunately, both experiences were disappointing. On my most recent visit, Mind you this was this past Saturday. I had an unpleasant interaction with the host, Sofia, who not only took a long time to acknowledge me but also made inappropriate remarks about my attire and even questioned whether I should be in this country based off the color of my skin. These comments made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable in the establishment. While the food itself was decent, the overall service from most of the staff did not reflect a welcoming environment. The only positive part of my experience was the host with curly hair and glasses I wasn't able to catch her name but she was kind, professional, and attentive. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable, ensured I received proper service, and ultimately was the reason I chose to stay through the dinner. read more

Came to Yard House for a leisurely Thursday lunch with a friend and was pleasantly surprised at how much I like it! Service with great. Didn't get the server's name, but she was attentive and friendly, but not intrusive. Had some good recommendations. The place is huge and, although the parking lot was pretty full, it didn't seem crowded. Music was not too loud and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Had a house margarita and it was so good that I had to have another. I ordered the fish sandwich with parmesan fries and was amazed at the size of the fish when it came. I cut off the ends that were hanging out of each end of the delicious bun and ate those first, then started in on the sandwich. It had a great slaw on it and was delicious. I would order that again, definitely. Parmesan fries were ok, but would stick to regular fries and save the extra $2.00. My friend was delighted with the vegetarian/vegan options and enjoyed the 'chicken' sandwich with avocado. Oh, and she liked the margarita, too. Great service and really good food. We've dined here many times before headed next door to the AMC theater. It's a sure bet for beer anytime. Their menu can be overwhelming and it's all over the place in regards to types of foods they serve. Our favs tried and true are the firecracker shrimp as appetizer. They are fried and served in a fried rice cake. Amazing. Honestly I would just got this appetizer. I had the 8oz Filet today ordered medium got it bleeding on my plate with my mashed potatoes soaking up the bloody juices. The flavor was good I prefer a medium thought.. at our table we also had the 20oz ribeye and the Vampire tacos. The ribeye was considerably fatty and thin. Good flavor though. We don't recommend the Vampire Tacos. Way too salty. The carnitas and bacon making these taste of salt and don't really get anything else out of them. We love the flights of beer you can get here . Service is consistent and friendly. If you need your person to help you out you can call them on the table console so that's handy. I would ask that this location pay a bit more attention their bathrooms cleanliness. If it's not too hot out try out the patio. read more

I'm very impressed with Yard House! I've been before and I can't remember what I got but this time I was blown away. Me and a large group of friends came for NYE since it was down the street and it was so cute! First off their customer service was A1!! They gave us noise makers, beads, and beer in flutes...it was so festive inside! Good job on taking care of customers during the holiday! Our server was very attentive despite it being very very busy. The food was sooo good! I got the appetizers of chicken tenders with fries and the egg rolls...the picture wasn't clear but both were soooo good omg. You prolly wouldn't believe even that you can mess up chicken tenders but you can lol theirs were soo good and the honey mustard was soooo good lol Get the egg rolls! They were my fav! I just ordered a House Hazy with Nanci and she did not ask me what size, but automatically gave me the large one. I'm sorry, but that's just shady. The Yard House is a 'nicer' venue in the gastropub genre. Huge beer selection, and everything I've had on the menu has been good. Most recently, I got the Korean Cheesesteak. It was an interesting twist. could have had a little more meat for the price. My side was the parmesan truffle fries. Cook to a proper doneness, but dare a say a bit TOO flavorful. They had a strong aftertaste that followed me around all night. Our service was 'ok'. I actually find it weird that an 'upscale' place like this, has a little terminal at the tables, like you're at a TGI Fridays. The prices on the food seem to mostly match the quality level, but the beers are super over priced... kinda makes me not come here as often as I'd like. read more

Caught a late dinner with an old friend and yard house offered a perfect location and meal.

Good, casual lunch spot! We walked in on a Saturday, and the restaurant was about 50% full. I imagine the place gets packed on game nights, as they have TVs set up throughout the restaurant as a sports bar. What we got: - poke nachos (marinated raw ahi, crispy wontons, avocado, serranos, white truffle sauce, sweet soy ginger sauce, sriracha aïoli, cilantro, green onions, nori, sesame seeds): Love the crispy chips topped with avocado and tuna! A little kick with the serrano peppers of course, but overall more tangy-sweet due to the sweet soy ginger sauce. Great for sharing! - hot & spicy edamame (stir-fried with chili & garlic): Recommended by our waitress, and we certainly enjoyed! I think I prefer regular edamame without the sauce on top, though, as I think the sauce overpowers the natural flavors of the edamame. - Korean bbq cheesesteak with parm truffle fries (chopped ribeye, white cheddar, kimchi, gochujang, caramelized onions, green onions, roasted garlic aïoli, toasted hoagie roll. with house fries): Very delicious, with marinated beef and all the veggies. The parm truffle fries were a little too salty for me. - steak bowl (grilled sirloin, stir-fried sesame brown rice & red quinoa, shiitake mushrooms, snap peas, bok choy, carrots, red onion, baby broccoli, red pepper flakes): Got the steak done medium rare, and they did it just right with the warm red center. Lots of flavor with the sauce - I would ask for the sauce on the side next time if I were to get this again, but loved this steak bowl! This is one of their healthier options of less than 700 calories. - avocado toast (toasted artisan bread, crushed avocado, whipped feta, red onion, arugula, baby tomatoes): Honestly sounds better than its execution. I think they just used too much feta cheese spread for my preference, although they did use plenty avocado! I think the arugula adds a slight bitter taste that doesn't quite agree with the avocado in my opionion. - elderflower gin & tonic: loved this cocktail! I'm not normally a g&t person, but it seemed refreshing so I went for it - loved the sweet hint of elderflower. You have the option for making it a double; I'm a lightweight so I can't consume that much alcohol, but I can see how it'd still taste delicious! - smoky old fashioned: my friend got this drink, and it comes smoky tableside, reminded me of a cozy fireplace! We visited on Dec 1st with a party of 6 ladies and 2 of us ordered meals with glutenfree pasta. The portions were significantly smaller than the dish with the regular pasta so we inquired about it. The manager came over and hanhandled it quickly with an additional meal that we split. My daughter (who had the glutenfree pasta) said the pasta on her additional meal tasted different and asked the manager if it was glutenfree. She is sensitive to gluten. The manager got very defensive and said he is an expert since he has 20 years of food service. We were puzzled because she was only asking if he would check to make sure and not accusing him of doing anything wrong. His defensive response changed the mood of our lunch and left us wondering if we will visit this restaurant again. read more

Visited for the first time last night. Enjoyed drinks and dinner at the bar which was partitioned with plexiglass for extra safety. Overall great service and a bar-like atmosphere. Everyone was wearing masks. I ordered a couple craft beers but was disappointed they were out of a couple I wanted to try. Luckily I had lots of other drafts to choose from. Excellent variety of options on their menu and something for all including gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian. I ordered their Beyond Burger and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly and I ordered a side of truffle truffle fries. A bit greasy but very good and hot temperature-wise. I was pleasantly surprised with their vegan/ vegetarian appetizer options as well. Next time, I'll be trying some of them and noticed they even carry Gardein products. Highly recommend Yard House for happy hour, lunch or dinner. Very spacious and lots of outdoor seating.
