I saw this restaurant on IG and had to go there to see for myself. I am happy to say everything you heard about them is absolutely true! The food is amazing. I purchased a small Jerk chicken dinner with rice & peas, steamed cabbage and a side of festival (3 comes in the order) First of all, the portion for a small is a lot (I couldn't finish it). The jerk chicken is well seasoned and juicy, rice & peas and cabbage equally delicious and not hard at all. I loved the festival, soft and delicious. The staff is very nice and welcoming. This establishment is a take-out restaurant and I was there around 2:30pm (Thursday) and there was a line but it moves quickly. There are 2 locations, the other is in Queens. One of the BEST Jamaican spots in Little Caribbean Brooklyn. I stopped by to experience the smoky jerk chicken and it was delicious - part of the reason is that the meat (chicken and pork) is cooked on the outdoor grill. It is a must try to understand why! The lobster and conch is cooked to order, so you may want to call ahead to avoid waiting too long. I also ordered plantains and a festival - both done well, but be prepared for small servings of both sides. This vibrant place is more like a pick up and go, so don't come here expecting to dine in. The service is normally what you experience at most Caribbean spots - place your order, pay, wait and you're on your way. Nothing epic - you're here for the food! Had a bunch of leftover side dishes from Christmas, so thought of this restaurant, because they offer meat only options, and I genuinely liked the food when the orders would actually go through... it's been over a year so hoped they'd worked out their delivery order kinks by now. Peeps around here already know that this is the best restaurant jerk chicken in BK. They used to be a pop up only Thur - Sat afternoons, & the line was always down the street around the block. Now, thankfully, they have a brick & mortar, & you can just order your food like a normal person & not like a deranged fanatic w a lawn chair arriving at 5am. Also, they have a few stools & a counter, too, so you no longer have to eat your food standing outside on the sidewalk. If you're ever deep in Flatbush you have to try this restaurant!! couldn't resist ordering the signature dish, jerk chicken and jerk pork. The chicken was tasty, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Each bite was a an explosion of flavors that reminded me of my grandparents kitchen. The rice and peas was light and fluffy and the veggies were soft. The menu also has a variety of seafood dishes, soaps and other eats. The service was also pretty good. Tried this place after seeing a review on tiktok. Let's just say it's my new favorite place to get jerk chicken. The chicken itself is really flavorful. You can taste that it came straight off the grill they have going outside, and the jerk bbq sauce is top tier. Service was pretty good as well. Everyone seemed very pleasant! Ok...... Jerk chicken from Yaad Man Ting.... It satisfies my jerk chicken craving but not the best. The chicken's texture was as if they pre-cooked the chicken and finished it off on the grill. I didn't taste the jerk pork because it was an hour wait. The festival was small but good. I would try one more time before I say no. read more

I ordered jerk chicken, jerk pork, rice and peas and their version of rasta pasta. Everything was delicious. Jhennell was at the register and took our order. She was very thorough and was extremely polite. They have huge grills outside where they smoke the meat. You can pretty much see the food upon arrival and everything looks very neat and clean. Best goat head soup I have ever had from a Brooklyn restaurant. It was spicy, but not overly done with spice, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! I closed my eyes and said Thank you Jesus! The curry goat (w/ white rice), jerk chicken, jerk pork and rice and peas were amazingly delicious. It took me straight back to yaad. It was nice! This place only serves meat . No sides . Rice and other sides is easy to find within the area so you shouldn't be too deterred. I only tried the Chicken but they do offer pork ribs and shrimp if that's your thing. The chicken though is some of the best I've had . The slight char along with the balance of the sauces (jerk and bbq) is really something to behold . Great tasting food. The food is precooked and in a warmer so when it is served it is a little warm. I got a mix of pork and chicken and it the chicken was very tender and the pork was super tasty. Also the plantains were pre made and tasted good but the texture wasn't there. read more

I had the jerk chicken, Rasta pasta and steam vegetables from this restaurant. Eating this food resulted in me having the worst case of food poisoning that sent me to the ER. The chicken was rushed and wasn't cooked well. I had over 12 hours of none stop vomiting and diarrhea. This was my first and last time ever trying their food. Just wanted to warn future customers.
