I didn't see what I wanted and the young lady, ( I appreciate her so much) was kind and sweet. She informed me of the type fish they serve. I got Whiting, Mac n Cheese, and Greens. The Food* The greens were very tasty, properly seasoned and proportioned well. The Mac n Cheese is always compared to moms. Though the Mac n Cheese didn't hold together like I'm used to eating it. I did find it quite D'licious. What ever they are doing? They, are doing! I had the fried whiting, it had a bit of spicy kick. Very tasty, moist, not over fried or dry. The cornbread was silky smooth and held together on its own. I've never had cornbread that was like butter yet held together and didn't break apart, even when you bite it. I got three pieces, of course for an extra cost and it was so worth the purchase. To sum it up, this is the exact kind of meal, taste included, mind you, that I'm used to eating down south. The smoke house has duplicated a fine Southern dish. Just thinking, if they decided to offer a full sit down experience, like severs, a hosts or hostess to greet diners, table service, what a wonderful world this would be.
