Decided to take a break from work and walk over to Xpresso Tea to grab a few snacks. I ordered the fried tofu for myself and the fried calamari and fried shrimp for my coworkers. The tofu was tasty but it's something that needs to be eaten right away or it will get soggy. I liked the spices sprinkled on top. It added a lot of flavor. So much better than plain fried tofu. My coworkers really liked the shrimp. The breading was perfect (not too thick). This was their favorite dish out of them all. I ordered the calamari but was given onion rings. I assume this was a mistake. I checked my receipt just to make sure that I correctly ordered calamari. I did. Just to make sure, we removed the breading and the translucent onion was underneath. My coworkers were bummed to not have calamari and didn't particularly like the taste of the onion rings. The onion rings was the only thing not eaten. Overall, the food was convenient, fast, and pretty good for a small snack. The service was friendly and being able to order through Yelp beforehand saved a lot of time. I look forward to trying the tea next time.

I've seen this place and never wanted to bother trying it because it doesn't look like it would be good.... I finally tried it the other day since my work let us expense $25 and I was craving popcorn chicken and wanted delivery off of door dash. The picture of the popcorn chicken drew me in and I'm glad it did! I'd definitely come back for the popcorn chicken. The drinks were good too!

Strawberry Kiwi Italian Soda, Litchi Italian Soda, Honeydew Mango Italian Soda, and Thai Milk Tea
    Andrea G.

My sisters and I came by to try the new Italian sodas on the menu. This place used to be Quickly, but they changed their name to Xpresso Tea and added more to their menu. They now have italian sodas, more smoothies, sea salt crema, and a few more snack items. We ended up ordering a strawberry kiwi italian soda, a litchi italian soda, and a honeydew mango italian soda as well as a thai milk tea. The drinks are pretty good, but they are on the sweeter side. I also feel that their prices are a little high compared to some of the nearby milk tea places. Overall, I was satisfied with my visit and would definitely return to order more drinks in the future.

Caramel Milk Tea with boba. $3.53 (after taxes)
    Andréia S.

This place is a really nice option for a quick snack. There is enormous amount of options of snacks and drinks to choose from. Most (or all) of the snacks are fried, so it's not a very healthy option, if that is what you're looking for. Furthermore, the snacks come in cheap paper bags that get a little greasy. Not a big deal. The prices are very good and affordable, and the portions you get for your money are quite big, so I don't mind if they are saving a little money on packaging. One good thing is that their drinks come in those plastic cups that are sealed on top with plastic by a machine and their boba is very yummy. So, they actually invested in good drinking cups, sealing system, and ingredients. The service is very friendly. I've been here a few times and I have always been happy with the people working here and with the speed that my order is prepared. Just pay attention that they call your order by what it is (i.e., if you ordered Caramel Milk Tea, they will just call from the cashier "Caramel Milk Tea"). There is no identification by number or number. Usually the place is not full, so there is no confusion. However, if they get more popular, they should design a better system for this. It is a very nice option if you want to skip Purple Kow's long lines and you want a wide variety of treats to go with your bubble tea.

I live pretty close by so I've been a few times now and I'm really glad it's so close! I like the variety of the menu, from milk teas, smoothies, to cheesecake shakes and yogurt drinks. My fave by far is the rose green tea crema! It's sweet and tastes a little fruity, so with the sea salt crema it is so good. I finished it by the time I got back to my place. The matcha crema is also tasty. I didn't really like the strawberry cheesecake shake only because I don't like artificial strawberry flavoring - but I liked the texture and the thickness. It tastes like those cheesecake bits you get from frozen yogurt places. I bet the green tea cheesecake shake would taste good. I tried the cheese stick spam musubi and that was also good, but too much rice.

They have musubi. In Hawaii I buy it cold off the top of the counter. At Xspresso they make it fresh so it is hot off the grill.

He also worked at the now closed Alan Wong's Restaurant on King. That's why we had to talk stories as we enjoyed our feast. Open for a nearly 4 years, I finally found the time and opportunity to dine here. The owners were kind enough to accommodate my party of 21 for a family style early dinner on a Sunday at 5 pm, very special given that they normally are not open Sunday evenings (brunch only Sundays). We were at two communal tables that seat 8 and one that normally seats 6, adding a seat at the end of the table. My favorite was the shrimp toast and the pineapple bun pork cutlet sando (forgot the name but it's on there). Shrimp toast and the boba French toast are notable mentions. I recommend sharing the French toast as a dessert because it's a lot. We got it with the salted yolk custard and it was okay. Not pictured here is the pork over rice dish. I think the pickled veggies, rice and flavors were good, but the pork belly was so chewy. Also not pictured is the chicken wings. Our group liked it. Definitely a shareable plate so you can try everything.

The defining hurdle of a visit is the notorious wait time, where customers routinely stand on the sidewalk for an hour or more just to be squeezed into a cramped, noisy, and basic dining room. While the legendary original dry-fried chicken wings are decent, they ultimately fall short of their mythical reputation; the signature sweet-and-spicy glaze leans incredibly saccharine and sticky, masking meat that often turns out slightly dry and over-fried. Beyond the signature wings, the rest of the extensive menu feels surprisingly ordinary and heavy-handed with sodium, making standard dishes like the black bean sauce noodles and string beans feel like ordinary takeout rather than a destination meal. Combined with a hurried front-of-house staff operating an "all-business" conveyor belt to clear tables quickly, the rushed environment and inflated, ala-carte pricing leave you feeling like you paid premium time and money for what is ultimately a standard neighborhood Chinese spot. They'll seat you perfectly at a four seater table, no less or more seats. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait because the restaurant itself is quite small. - The menu is concise and highlights what they're only known for, so don't expect to see any additional random dishes that some Asian spots carry just because i.e. dim sum, chicken wings, fries - Once seated, they'll hand you a menu, and the expectation for the most part is that you'll be ready to order minutes later. If you do take longer to decide what to order, they do not make their rounds to you that quick so it's better to know even before getting seated, what to order - Everything is priced quite fair with the portions, and I noticed everyone who does "over order" ends up walking out with takeout containers My major ick is that when I did order takeout the one time from them, they charged me per container, which felt very nit picky. However, when I did dine in and had leftovers, they did not nickel and dime me for the container and bag usage. I would definitely come back in a heartbeat for their noodles and dumplings, all I truly care for is good food and less so white glove service given the casualness.
