    **THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!** My bill changes every month. Why? I have no idea. Does the usage change? Nope. Did my plan change? YES. WHO CHANGED IT? The company, without my knowledge. Did I try to fix it? Yes, many times. I've called, chatted, and asked for an explanation (3 times this week). Their response: "We have a promotion." Okay, great, but explain this bill first. Their literal answer: "You're missing the point." Dude, I get the point--you're scamming me. WORST PART is customer service hung up/disconnected when I insisted on an explanation. I tried to cancel but have no idea how. Everyone says go to the store, I did they said we just sell phones ;)

    This review is for one of the retail sales professional named Zwe (also known as "Z"). I can't say enough good things about my guy Z. He went above and beyond to help me during my appointment to change my service. He answered all my questions completely and double checked if I had any other concerns before leaving the store. Straightforward, honest, and genuine. Z is a problem solver and will dedicate his time to resolve your issues. He understands the business and has a vast amount of knowledge about products, services, and troubleshooting. If you're coming into the store and you're looking for solutions and not for someone trying to sell you something, Z is the real deal. Thank you again for taking care of me and my fam and making sure all our needs were met!

    DANTE'S 8th CIRCLE of HELL that's the one where fraudulent sinners spend eternity. So this happened: May 2016. walked into Comcast Store on Geary to close account. Gave them all the equipment, paid the last bill. Signed. Lesson #1. If they ask why you are closing, tell them you, and everyone in your house is vacating, moving to another planet, next people are dead. this will save you from endless grilling, do you need cable where you're moving, what about your roommates, what about......... June, July, Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec received monthly bills for $100, I would call, they would say there's no charges due. even called my Visa bank and BANNED them from access to my $$. More bills, more calls, then a conference call with my Visa bank and Comcast Billing. Once again, my account is totally closed, there is no balance to pay, you're clear. We Promise. So then I happened to be checking my credit report, about to make a large purchase and assuming i will see my standard excellent rating. But Wait! Comcast sent my bill to COLLECTION!!! On Jan 1, 2017. happy new year.

Monkeybrains blows that standard out of the water. I've been using Monkeybrains internet for a little over a year now, which feels like the appropriate amount of time to decide whether the internet is good or if it's just pretending. In the past year I can only remember one outage that lasted longer than about five minutes. Compared to my previous providers, that already puts it way ahead. I stream, upload large video files for editing, and occasionally do some online gaming. Those are all situations where bad internet immediately ruins your day. Dropping a connection while uploading a 10GB video or during a dungeon raid is the digital equivalent of stepping on a Lego. Fortunately, Monkeybrains has been very reliable. I actually can't comment on customer service because I've never had to call them. Either I'm lucky, or the service just quietly works. The price has felt worth it and the performance has been consistently solid. Final verdict: the best compliment I can give my internet provider is that I mostly forget it exists.

Anywho, this review is for Monkeybrains. They are a local company (i.e. quick and easy to get someone on the phone if need be) and reasonably priced. You do have to provide your own router, so plan accordingly. Never experienced service interruptions or any other issues in the 2 years I had them as my ISP. Sonic, however, crapped out literally the same day the techs were done installing it. They also have to drill into the infrastructure, so now I have all these bolts sticking out of the walls, uglifying my kitchen space. Thanks, Sonic. (Go with Monkeybrains)

    They took over a well-oiled machine from Paxio and turned it into a fickle jalopy of internet…read moreservice. I never had this much downtime and maintenance from Paxio. The disruptions are frequent and too many times have made my home server unreachable while traveling. Most of the time the service resumes, but on occasion I've had to have a neighbor or relative enter my home and reset the connection for me. Super effing inconvenient! Also, there is no roadmap for connections faster than 1 Gigabit, even while even more worthless competitors like Xfinity and AT&T offer 2.5 and even 5 Gigabit. And lastly, they increased their rates a few months ago. They offered a discount if you paid for a year in advance, but offered no way to do that online. It wasn't until I contacted customer service, that they gave me the details of how to do so: by writing a physical check and sending it to a physical address, no ACH or Credit Card options (which are available to those who pay monthly). Like, I'm boomer AF, so I still have a few checks laying around, but who else in 2025 still has a checkbook? When it works, I'm grateful, but internet service is binary. I just need it to work. Always. And it doesn't. End of story.

Obviously it's annoying to get there and they say you're 4th in line and you have to sit around. But then I was taken over to Dominic, who was so helpful. He helped me replace my internet router with no issue at all. Let me know I needed to return the old one within 15 days. Then I told him I felt like I was paying too much for cable and internet and he walked me through the options for some different plans. I ended up getting a new router, a better deal on my cable and internet and in the new plan there was an iPad included. If you even go to this location, try to get hooked up with Dominic. He's literally the best. And also, he started helping me at around 6:50 when the store closed at 7. He was patient and worked with me until after the closed. Please give this guy a raise. He was literally the best!

It works 100% fine, and simply for discontinued service they won't help you even DISPOSE OF THE ITEM PROPERLY. It goes to show no matter how much you do as an individual that recycling and garbage will always be pointless in the grand scheme of things because of these evil corporations. A harsh reality to residents of this city who do so much to keep it clean, yet are forced to live at the mercy of these corporations.

With our…read morenew FM phone system, when Shelter-In-Place was issued we were able to pivot literally overnight, to have the majority of our staff working from home the next day. Staff simply took their desk phones home, plugged them in to their routers, and got back to serving our patients without missing a beat. We are a mulit-office pediatric practice. Families rely on our call-center receptionists and our telephone advice nurses. In Feb 2020, we eliminate our relationship with our old phone service (one of the giants) because the cost was criminal, and the service was poor. FM was very hands-on helpful during implementation, setting up our new equipment, phone queues and autoattendents exactly how we asked. Then in March, the world changed. But our staff adapted immediately, largely thanks to our new FM system. With care-giving staff in the office, and everyone else at home, our internal and external communication continued seamlessly. And most importantly, we were 100% there for our patients to reach us, even during the most trying times. Fastmetrics has truly been a game-changer for us.

They tried to get me to switch my phone service, but like the other services they offer, it's only half-assed, they don't fully do everything, they only do just enough. I'd rather pay more with someone else, than be stuck with their phone service too ... because whenever you'll need help, there's not a REAL PERSON to be found! Only this a.i. that never understands the human element!! My recent internet problem ... they kept apologizing, but that's ridiculous .. it doesn't ever help anything! They needed to get my service back asap. Stop apologizing! Techs finally came out and didn't fully do the install .. only parts, so it'll probably go out again. Got a text yesterday that my internet is cancelled. Spent 4 hours with customer service and got absolutely no help whatsoever from 3 different reps who barely spoke English. Had to return to the store to reapply for the entire setup and now we have to wait for a new box to be mailed to us. Noone was able to give us a reason for the disconnection. Absolute worst customer service that I have ever received, bar none!
