When we arrived, there was a short line at the counter, but it moved quickly, and we were asked to take a seat while they addressed our issue. About ten minutes later, the gentleman at the counter returned with a new device, verified my account and ID, and handed us the replacement. Once we got home, I tried to set up the new box, but the remote wouldn't sync with it. So, I had to return the following day to get another replacement. This time, the process took only a few minutes, and once I got home and walked through the required setup steps, everything worked like a charm. Altogether, this was a positive experience. Aside from the inconvenience of having to return a second time, I was happy with the process and the service we received.

Be cautious when signing a contract with Xfinity…read more They rarely perform at the service level you contract at, and getting them to honor contracted upload/download speeds are impossible. They write language into their agreements that basically indemnifies them and you're stuck with whatever speed they have you set up at. But that isn't the only caution here. Another area to be cautious with them includes service reliability. Before we canceled service four months ago, they had failed service in every 24-hour-period on 27 of the last 30 days we had service. Yes, you read that right. 27 of the last 30 days we had with them showed us losing internet connectivity for at least 60 minutes in the 24 hour period. That is NOT reliable service. Lastly, and what prompted me to write this review, I just received an email stating that I owe equipment. Keep in mind that my wife endured A THREE HOUR WAIT just to return the equipment we did have. What stands out to me is that this is the second time this has happened since we cancelled and went with Starlink. I believe they do this as a way of generating revenue from clients who cancel. Most won't take the time to fight it and they can just bill for the cost of the equipment regardless if it had been returned or not. I'm fortunate...I keep receipts and the first time they pulled this I spent two hours on the phone (which I'm certain I will have to do again) to clear it up. So...the bottom line of this review is to inform you to make the best decision for you. Good luck and don't go with Comcast Xfinity.

I'm going to start by saying I'm a fairly picky person. I consider myself fairly hard to please…read more I live in a rural area so there are no services except satellite for TV, and dial up for internet. So after a year of using my 4g phone as a hotspot, with crappy 4g coverage at my house, I was excited to give Unwired a try. Their service is long range WiFi. I have had the service for two years now and have been nothing but impressed with this company. There have only been two service outages due to their equipment, and both times I was emailed multiple times from Unwired, keeping me informed of the situation. They explained what went out, which tower, how long the service would be down, etc. They made me feel like I was important. How often do you get that from Comcast or AT&T? NEVER! YOU have to call and most of the time they treat you like an idiot. Most recently I had a power supply failure on my modem/dish. I emailed Unwired support at 7PM on a Friday night. I totally expected to not hear from them until Monday. Well, guess what? The CEO of the company emailed me back within a half hour and helped me diagnose the problem via email that night! If you are not impressed by now, just wait. I emailed him the next day (Saturday) and asked if there was a local place I could find a power supply. He explained that the power supply was a unique unit and a normal store would not have it. He then volunteered to personally deliver a power supply to my work!! I told him I didn't expect him to do that and I would wait until Monday. If the deal wasn't already sealed at this point, it is now. I will be a customer for life with this company. The service itself is great. It has a very fast upload/download speed. The latency, which was my biggest concern, is VERY fast. I trade futures and a fast latency, or "ping" time is crucial. If you want excellent, small company service, fast internet, and a lower price than the big guys, give these guys a call.

Staff simply took their desk phones home, plugged them in to their routers, and got back to serving our patients without missing a beat. We are a mulit-office pediatric practice. Families rely on our call-center receptionists and our telephone advice nurses. In Feb 2020, we eliminate our relationship with our old phone service (one of the giants) because the cost was criminal, and the service was poor. And most importantly, we were 100% there for our patients to reach us, even during the most trying times. Fastmetrics has truly been a game-changer for us.
