Hands down the most reliable internet in the Bay Area. Only outage I have experienced was when a road contractor cut their fiber and they had it replaced in 5 hours which is no small feat. Gig out of the wall. He'll I'm getting speeds of over 800 on WiFi. I love this company. They are the liberation army of the iSP's.

Had Sonic Fiber installed today and the experience was excellent. Victor Hernandez handled the job and went above and beyond. My install wasn't simple. I requested the fiber be routed through the attic and down to a custom modem location. Victor listened to my concerns, communicated clearly, and made sure everything was done exactly how I wanted. His work ethic and attention to detail really stood out. Clean work, professional attitude, and the system is running perfectly. Very satisfied with the service. Highly recommend Sonic and especially Victor.

Sonic fiber is the best. I say this having used AT**, Comc*** and @Home services. I signed up for notification as soon as I heard Sonic might be coming to my neighborhood. When it finally happened, scheduling installation was quick and painless. The installer arrived on time and did a great job of running the line to my existing router. Best of all , the service is solid: fast, reliable, robust and with a great support team behind it - with whom I've had contact just once in five years, to confirm connectivity after a planned outage. Sonic fiber is the best. (Edited to specify a fiber install.)

My Wi-Fi kept going on and off I requested maintenance a day before they arrived. The service was quick about thirty minutes Shawn Zieske was very respectful and kind. I love Sonic it has great fast working Wi-Fi for a decent price.

No. Arris Surfboard is a cable modem. Sonic offers both fiber optic and DSL (landline phone) connections, but not cable. You could sell the Arris modem on eBay.

Yes, you should call them. They have great customer service / technical support. Keep in touch with them and you will learn to love them. I've been their customer for 19 years and chose them because of great support.

It took a while to figure out what was going on with my bill, and in the end, they were able to figure out what was going wrong with my monthly bills, and how to get my bill back to where it was supposed to be. The manager (Christian I believe) was excellent in dealing with me, a very frustrated longtime customer that just wanted the proper offers to be honored. Big kudos to the other two employees who also did all they could during this process, and were extremely professional throughout. I hope I don't have to keep going back because the billing department's screw-ups, but if I do have any issues, I now know I can come to this store, rather than wasting precious hours of my life being hung up on by Xfinity automated telephone services, and lied to by chat bots and chat agents.

I loose service and call them and they have no information and promise to call when they do, but of course never call, no apologies, no refunds, nothing. Any other service I've had where that happens, they can't apologize enough and refund you more than the value of what you lost. When I decided to cancel them, they informed me that I still have to pay for 30 days! This was apparently buried somewhere in tiny print in their contract. There are NO utilities/services I have ever dealt with in 40 years that don't allow you to cancel their service then pro-rate the amount you owe up to cancellation. I would counsel anyone thinking about getting this service to look elsewhere.

We did not have many choice in internet and so this was the company we got. The service is awful and we were left without internet often. Despite them telling us we would have enough bandwidth to run our smart TVs we did not and apps were constantly buffering. Half our house does not have internet ( it's not that big ) and they paced the router and said we would have service though the whole house. We are now moving out do the area and when I called to cancel service I was told we had 2 year contract and there would be a fee to cancel. We new we would not be here for two years and I specifically asked the sales rep for a month to month contract. All and all an awful company and experience. If you can't get another provider I would recommend calling your cell phone company and getting a hotspot. It'll be much more reliable and cost-effective.

My mother and I were both told multiple times she would get a credit up to $500.00 which could be used to pay off her phone purchase contract with Verizon. We agreed and the mobile line was ported to Xfinity. Now 11 days later we find out the credit will be a maximum of $200.00. This new information was not provided to us at the time of the sale. I called Xfinity to get the information on how to apply for the reimbursement and found out at that time it was only going to be $200.00. My mothers sole reason to switch carriers was the $500.00. Since the Verizon payoff is $600.00 my mother is going to have to come out of pocket for $400.00. We realize people do make mistakes but I asked the salesman at least two times if he was sure the credit was $500.00 and his answer was yes. I even called a T mobile representative while I was at the Xfinity store and was told the $500.00 credit was a good deal. Especially with the no monthly charge for 12 months. We have not returned to the store as we feel it will be a she said he said conversation and I don't want my 89 year old mother to have to go through that. This review is more of a expression of disappointment in Xfinity's customer service.
