After three months in a row being strung along with no resolution for billing overcharges by Xfinity over "customer service chat", and no such thing as human help over the phone with this billion (trillion?) dollar corporation, I resorted to going to this physical Xfinity store to attempt resolution. It took a while to figure out what was going on with my bill, and in the end, they were able to figure out what was going wrong with my monthly bills, and how to get my bill back to where it was supposed to be. The manager (Christian I believe) was excellent in dealing with me, a very frustrated longtime customer that just wanted the proper offers to be honored. Big kudos to the other two employees who also did all they could during this process, and were extremely professional throughout. I hope I don't have to keep going back because the billing department's screw-ups, but if I do have any issues, I now know I can come to this store, rather than wasting precious hours of my life being hung up on by Xfinity automated telephone services, and lied to by chat bots and chat agents. read more

Have been with Xfinity 20 years or more. The service now is non-existent to horrendous. I moved 3 weeks ago and after having two techs come to my home I still do not have service. Probably have spent 7or more hours on their "chat" which is useless. Numerous phone calls without success. And I just received a bill of $313. What???? I'm now in the store waiting. If problems not resolved will cut my ties forever with Xfinity as well as report them to BBB and other consumer agencies. I've been having trouble with my iPhone 11 with it going into SOS mode constantly for the past 2 weeks. I went in expecting for the staff to sell me the newest phone. Axel helped me 2 different visits. He spent time troubleshooting my phone, he replaced my SIM card and never tried to upsell me to the new iPhone. Great Service! The staff is well trained. So many companies rely on people just being too busy to look for an alternate source, but we finally did it and canceled their overpriced, incomplete, slow internet and cable service. I canceled the Internet because SONIC is incredibly fast and costs about half. Unfortunately, sonic is not in all the neighborhoods, but it is Hella fast. I was good with Comcast until I found myself working while my wife was listening to music during the day and it made my computer super slow. I got curious with the speed calculator and realized it wasn't very fast. Comcast Upload speeds were like less than 100mps with Comcast and now upload speeds are 500 on sonic. Comcast Download speeds were in the 200s sometimes less than 100 and now they're steadily between 4 to 600 on sonic. I was just content to cancel it and not even give any feedback. When I went to turn in my cable box and remote, I was walking up very close to 7 PM and I said wait wait and they just closed the door right in my face and locked it. There were still quite a few people in that store and the door was open when I was driving up not closed. It was open! Wait, wait I say. If I had made one more light on the way over there, I've been in there or if the person could've waited less than five seconds for me to walk in the door. Cause I'm busy and I don't have a lot of time to go chase them down or hunt through the marketplace for a better deal. I also don't always have time to go turn in their stupid cable box and remote. But they just keep raising the prices and the service gets worse and then finally they slammed the door in my face. So hey man shop hard before you sign up with these dudes. read more

Zaniel quickly offered to assist me as soon as he was free. He was courteous AND efficient, getting me all the info I needed quickly as I was on my lunch hour. Absolutely a fiasco! What a joke! Went to transfer my number to a new phone at first get with someone they tell me I have no authorization to do it my self need someone else. Ok. So I bring that person she tries to authorize it and they tell her she can't because she is not authorized someone else is. Get back in line and once again get told she can authorize me. They give me an appointment. She shows up again and this time we both had enough demand a manager and finally someone helps us. Except sure she can authorize but we had to contact the main account holder anyway and he had to do it on his own computer. So how helpful was this manager really? The service here is terrible. I waited an hour yesterday just to pick up a modem I ordered online. They added the modem to the wrong account and I had to come back today for a new one. Absolutely horrendous Customer Service from the staff that clearly does not want to be there. I walked in to return equipment and they refused to work with me, saying that I owed money and that there was a hold on the account. I had all of the information on my phone with account numbers and proof that the account balance was at $0.00. They refused to help me, refused to look at any information I had to present, and refused to take the old equipment. At one point, the Rep said, "I'm not looking to argue with you." I called the FCC in the parking lot and made a complaint about the two workers that helped me, and got my attorney involved as well. Don't waste your time with the imbeciles at this location and drive to San Rafael. I was in/out within 5 minutes after being helped by their Rep. If you return equipment, GET A RECEIPT. I usually buy online but this time i decided to go to the store and look at the colors of the new iPhone in person and decide which one to get but these employees look miserable!! All i asked was if i could look at the back on the phones to look at the colors since they were locked. They were able to easily help me so that was good but the manager who had to come out to do the deed would not even make eye contact with me or allow me to speak. First it was bait and switch telling me we qualified for senior discount because we live on Social Security. After an hour we didn't qualify because we weren't on some other Social program. Tried setting up my internet based on the special running on their website and since the price doesn't match up at the end of the, I said to cancel the request but yet they still charged my credit card the $25 set up fee. I then drove to this store to try again and ask if they can help with the charges made earlier. He said he can't help with the charge but can help setting up the Internet. After waiting for almost an hour, he keeps trying to upsell me their cable package and/or cell service, he can't give me the price they advertise so I left frustrated about the time spent with this company and the misleading information they send out to bait and switch you so they can take your hard earned money. On 7/23 I spoke to billing on the phone as my father passed away and there was charges pending under his name. They told me to go in to return the equipment and show his death certificate so they would be able to waive his fees. On 7/24 I went into the store with an appointment and Anthony began helping me. That man lacks empathy, does not know how to control his temper/emotions, and completely lied right in front of me. He stated to me there was nothing they could do and simply not pay the amount and it would be sent to collections and since my dad died there was nothing to worry about. I explained how I didn't want anything pending under my father's name and he sent me away to contact billing saying that was their problem and nothing was going to be waived. He connected me with a tablet directly to billing where they explained the store needed to submit a ticket along with death certificate and when I called Anthony over to explain, he began raising his voice at the virtual agent lying about how all documents had been submitted and he couldn't just be called over as the store was busy and he was too. To CLARIFY, he never even asked to see the death certificate which I told him as soon as I heard him say that and he completely ignored me. Eventually he ended up creating the ticket like he should have since the beginning. He didn't even want to give me a receipt at first to confirm I returned the equipment. He also helped another customer and wouldn't even let them try on a phone case so they HAD to buy it and tried it on outside the store after buying it only for it to NOT FIT! They came right back to exchange it. I was able to get my father's account to close with a zero balance over the phone. Anthony could have simply done his job from the beginning or ask if he didn't know and that would have saved me such a bad experience with this store. I had an appointment at Comcast but still had to wait an hour to speak to a rep named Nate. My bill just went up $40 a month and I wanted to discuss getting it lowered. Nate told me I could drop down to Limited Basic, which is close to zero worthwhile programing. Or call this phone number here to see if you qualify for a $30 a month discount. I've tried that, your income has to be below poverty level to qualify. He said the rates increased due to inflation. "We've all seen inflation in recent years. Eggs are $7 a dozen." I haven't seen eggs for $7 so I asked him where he buys eggs. Nate said "I don't have to have this argument" and he got up and left the room. Not helpful. So I called Comcast customer service. They would only text me to start a chat. So I had a long, drawn-out hour long chat with someone in some country that just completely wasted my time, saying over and over again they were checking my account. Asking me how's my day. Asking me if I have any pets. In the end he said he'd found me a deal. It's the same price as the new price over $200 that I currently have AND I'd have to buy a new phone. I am repulsed by Comcast. Yesterday I relocated from San Diego and needed to set up internet. I found that comcast had this amazing high speed internet and that I was able to order the plan online with a equipment pick up and super easy self install all within 2 hours. I was surprised to find out that they also offer mobile service as an add on for super cheap. $30 for unlimited data I currently have T-Mobile and the service sucks at my apartment as well as around town so I'm excited to have been able to add them together. Aside from all that, I came into the office exhausted and delirious from a 8+ hour drive and 3+ hours errand day.. I chose to write this review simply because Desmond was the associate that assisted me and I'm so grateful that he did. He was professional, efficient and really patient. He spect time explaining everything to me and answering all of my questions. He also helped me today again even though it's his day off. I recently lost most of my vision and decided that I don't really need Comcast television anymore. Just internet and security for the house. I was also very disappointed that they got rid of the NBC sports channel and we have to pay extra for that now. So I just decided to cancel my service with Comcast. I hadn't been to this location in Rohnert Park before only the one in Santa Rosa. They were greeted by Phil. The reason I'm writing this review. He was amazing and fantastic. He listened to our problems solved. Our issues got us a cheaper Bill and we'll be visiting him again to change our phone plans. Xfinity is known for having horrible customer service over the phone and terrible user experience with their apps. This store completely changed my mind about dealing with Xfinity. Phil was perfect and really cared about helping us out. I hope all his managers can read this and understand how important it is to have great customer service in this era of too much tech. read more

Having seen all the really bad reviews, I was apprehensive about my visit to this store yesterday. I was returning the cable equipment as I was "cutting the cord", also getting rid of our landline and reducing our internet speed. I thought it was likely I would get some "attitude" or pushback but NO - I was delighted to have wonderful conversation and service from "Kaitlin". She was professsional, knowledgable and handled my transaction beautifully. She answered all my questions and it was a wonderful experience. Absolutely horrendous customer service. I can't get two employees to agree on how much I owe after closing my account. The phone rep tells me to pay in person. The in-person rep tells me to pay over the phone. I can't pay online since my accounts are closed, yet I keep getting charged late fees for not paying the final $13, or $18, or $35 I owe. I've documented 12 in-store visits, 8 phone calls, and 1 call to executive offices. One person on the phone told me to get a receipt from the store so I don't get scammed. How does this place rate overall at 2 Stars? We have had internet for a few months, but DISH cut our sports networks and we needed a change Hello Xfinity! I had the pleasure of having to go to the Xfinity Store two days in a row. Yesterday when I arrived, I had no idea about the whole appointment thing. I stood in line for approximately 20 minutes to pick up our equipment. It's a process, but it wasn't horrible. Once inside, I had a awesome, informative person help me with my questions and equipment pick up. While there, I overheard a handful of disgruntled customers, taking their grievances out on the staff (there's your two star people). We all don't need to overhear your problems, use some civility. Set up was easy, but we decided we needed some extra equipment. I made an appointment online and found several times to go in to get the items we needed. I showed up 15 minutes early, checked in via my phone and was greeted a moment later. Yes, that non-appointment line was present but it seemed to be moving along. Same person helped me from the day before. She seemingly remembered who I was and we got through the process rather quickly. I didn't hear any customers complaining today. Yay! I may have a differing opinion on a subsequent visit, but after visiting twice in two days and having wonderful experiences each time I think it's a good gauge on the overall service. Also, the store is very nice. It is well designed, plenty of COVID precautions in place. It's not difficult to make an appointment to keep your time there at a minimum. Good job Xfinity. read more

I went to this location to return my Xfinity equipment. I waited 10 minutes before anyone ever acknowledged me. When the guy finally asked how he could help and I told him I needed to return my equipment he told me their policies had changed and that I needed to go to a UPS store and return it through them. I drove to a UPS store and was told they could take my equipment for the TV but could not return my home security equipment. I ended up calling their main number to ask how I can return the home security equipment and was told I would have to go back to the store once again because they could not send me a label or help me in any other way, and it had to be returned or I would be charged for it. It is a total joke! They also told me that the store does not take appointments so I have to just go sit there and wait. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! read more
