Instead, Granko made things exponentially worse as we poured money into more and more equipment and labor, Granko's only solution for ANY problem. For TWO years we listened to excuse after excuse after excuse. Thankfully we had been interviewing technicians and Diego Cid of Sonoma Tech Solutions came for a consultation a few weeks ago. Within 40 minutes, he assessed the situation. Unlike any of the other consultations, he told us exactly what was needed. He sent a detailed proposal later that evening. Diego spent 2 days, in 90 degree heat, modernizing and optimizing our network. He used the existing equipment we had. He reinstalled routers and switches, corrected the network topology establishing a single gateway and end-to-end network, put Sonos under the same network and adjusted for multiroom operation. He also found that Granko never installed the U7s and other boosters properly... they had them too low, their reach was totally neutered by obstructions! Diego also cleaned up all the wiring in our boxes too. (see pic below of our main box) Within moments, after he finished, our system started performing beautifully. We had WiFi around the property, the internet speed was faster and our Sonos amps were working beautifully. It's been a few weeks now without an issue... since our problems were daily, the change was obvious!!! Two years of an annoying money pit compared to 2 days of honest, thoughtful work that solved every problem. Over the last 3 weeks I have tried to get in touch with them now 3 times on the phone (with messages forwarded from their answering service) as well as email with no response. It's extremely frustrating, and given the other positive reviews here about their service is extremely surprising. For a company that prides themselves on service, I'm surprised they use an answering service and do not publish a direct line to reach them. And even with the answering service, not returning multiple calls and emails is pretty bad service. I hope they can address this, I'm always rooting for small businesses over the big guys.

Honestly, I was so distracted by my daughter's wedding logistics, that I didn't care how calm and laid-back Jon's approach was. (Normally, I would expect urgency and "yesterday" in my computer concerns.) Jon was communicative and positive, presenting caveats when necessary.
