Each key was like that. I don't know why, and I don't want to go all the way back to the place to get them done over. Maybe the young guy didn't sand them down (or whatever they do after they cut the key). He also thought I only wanted one, when I handed him an email that said I needed four, so he had to do the other 3 after he thought he was done.

I'm female and at the time was 75 years old, my recommending friend got my desktop over to Actnet. When the repair was done, Phillip returned my computer to me without extra charge.was installing new hard drives. I could not do it myself. Time passes, and more help was needed. This time it was a frozen cursor. I thought maybe keyboard and / or mouse problem. Went to Office Depot, and had decided to get corded equipment not wireless this time, having heard corded is better. Salesman told me "they don't make those any more" and had none for sale so I bought the cordless equipment. (this was on a Sunday). Still no luck. I called Phillip, left a message, groaning inwardly fearing great delay.. Phillip returned my call within 2 *hours*. And, he remembered me from 2016! And, reminded that at 77 years of age I could not bring my desktop to the shop, asked when he could come. "How about now" he said. NOW? OMG, I was over the moon with relief. He came, he brought corded keyboard(s), and repaired the problem. He did not just pack up and leave, but tweaked my computer, solving numerous minor annoyances, giving full value for the whole hour. A shorter review would say GOOD, PROMPT, REASONABLY PRICED SERVICE FROM AN HONEST AND COMPETENT FIRM. Put another way, Phillip walks on water. He treats seniors well (his mother should be proud), And oh yeah, that keyboard he sold me? Priced exactly the same as the one I bought from Office Depot, where the clerk plain *lied*. "We don't carry" is not the same as "not made any more / not available."

That's also a little disturbing and I feel kind of violated that you basically researched me because of a tiny little review. You easily could have just said return to us and we will fix it. Now, because I don't trust you at all I will not be returning it because I don't want to deal with any retaliation and wtf would I get in return more bad flower with a smile and another lie about quality? Also will not be returning ever even for things besides flower so congratulations you lost a long time customer. Next time just say you're sorry and you'll do better. Pathetic.

I have always loved this Ace Hardware and genuinely want to support this business, which is why…read morewhat I witnessed today bothered me enough to write this review. I watched the owner (Jonny), who is not white (this will come into play later, I promise), ask a group of white teenage boys who were being extremely rambunctious in the store to leave. An older, short white man then decided to insert himself into the situation and tell the owner that the boys should be allowed to stay and that he would buy whatever they wanted for them. The owner told him no. The older white man then said he was going to return a bottle of dye he had purchased in retaliation. The owner allowed him to make the return. During the interaction, the man physically PUSHED the owner. The owner understandably became upset and pointed his finger at him. The older man then proceeded to call him names and berate him, speaking to him with an astonishing level of hostility and disrespect. Saying that there is no way he is the owner and he wanted to talk to whoever was "above" him. I want to be very clear about something: I was there. I saw what happened. I am a white woman, and I found it particularly disturbing to watch a white customer feel entitled to override a non-white business owner's decision about how to run his own store -- and then feel entitled to put his hands on him and verbally attack him when he didn't get his way. I cannot tell you what was in this man's head or what motivated his behavior. But I can tell you what I witnessed, and it was ugly. The owner has every right to tell disruptive customers to leave. He should not have to tolerate being physically pushed, insulted, or verbally abused for enforcing the rules in his own business. I hope people reading this understand that there are always two sides to a confrontation -- and sometimes the person being loudest and most aggressive is not the person who started the problem. I love this Ace Hardware (as I mentioned already but cannot say it enough) and will continue to support it. They are always helpful and educational when I come in. The owner deserves better from the community, and I hope other customers will stand behind him. No business owner should have to put up with this kind of treatment.

Last time this manager shamed a customer in front of us asking for help with screws. He said "We don't have time to help everyone with every little question or else we won't make any money" This time we went to this store to look for an adapter to connect from a portable dishwasher hose to a faucet splitter. When we arrived at the store, the asian manager sees us and asks us if we need any help. We start describing what we were looking for and before we can even finish our sentence he cuts us off and says "not possible" with no other explanation. We were skeptical so we looked in the store ourselves because why would a store named "Standard Plumbing" not have a simple plumbing piece? Eventually we found the 3/4" bushing we needed after 15-20 minutes, which I'm sure if he hadn't dismissed us so quickly he would have helped us find in 5 minutes. If he had not intended to help us, why even ask us if we need help?
