I'm torn about what to rate them, because I only had a quick in & out visit. I had an old modem that Comcast recommended I go and swap for a newer one. I literally walked in, handed them my old one, they asked which one i wanted, linked it to my account and I left. Legit like 180 seconds. They seemed nice. I was helped right away - it was later at night and rainy. There was only one other customer in the store and they were being helped by a different rep. The store was easy to find, had plenty of parking and seemed clean and bright. I would go there again to switch out hardware if need be. read more

I purchased two phones from here yesterday. When I got home, I was missing a charger. The middle age man didn't tell me about the charger. I went back to the store and told the manager to tell customers they need to buy the charger separately. This store does not sell chargers. I had to go to Best Buy. read more

My home network isn't connecting to my devices which is a problem because I work from home. It's weds morning and the best Comcast can do is send a tech on SATURDAY. Can't even contact a store by phone, everything hunts to 1-800-xfinity. Considering what these thieves charge me every month this adds insult to injury to say the least. read more

We continue to have problems with xfinity. The automated voice answering system is a joke at best. Almost impossible to speak to a agent!!! Current hours of certain stores are inaccurate. The number of locations seems to be declining making it more difficult than before to try and resolve issues. System said it would have someone call me to review experience within 30 minutes- over an hour with no response. It seems that the customer service continues in a downward trend. read more

Went in to ask about how some xfinity internet equipment works. Sales person replied they are a sales person, and can not answer technical questions. So you can sell the equipment , you just can't explain to someone how it works. Hmmmm....what else can you say about that?! read more

Worst customer service I have ever received. I pay my bill on time and in full. They cut off my on demand because they feel I rented to many movies. When I called them to release this waiver and told them I don't care what I rent just send the bill. They said they will call back all four days I called. Not one person has contacted me. Good service and friendly people. Much easier to get equipment here than to have it sent (They actually never sent the boxes I requested by phone for the X-1 upgrade, so 3 weeks later I came here.) My only complaint: They seem to have neglected to tell me the great deal on adding phone service (only $5 more) and the "faster Internet", Showtime & Starz came with a 2 year agreement. Went to their store to exchange a broken modem. The clerk with initials GM deleted my main cable tv box and screwed up others so got home to no cable tv. Spent 1 and 1/2 hours with Comcast on phone trying to get it added back. Leah Comcast phone rep kept me on the phone for 45 minutes and heard her snoring. I had to wake her up. I asked her what box number she was working on she could not tell me . Had to get her supervisor who could not believe she was sleeping and she had to fix it. The worst home internet I've ever experienced. I've called EVERY month since August because my internet goes off. I work from home so this is VERY inconvenient. I pay $150 a month for "the best internet" when it doesn't work. They have refused to give me a discount and have rebooted my internet so many times that I know how to do it myself now. Garbage company. Oh and when the technician came he did nothing but steal $300 from my purse and they didn't want to give me his name or anything to file a police report. AT&T is 100% better than this shit show so if you're looking for great home internet go to AT&T. read more

This is mainly a shout out to Terri, who is the MOST WONDERFUL person! I want to personally thank you for ALL your help and empathizing with our frustration. My mom and I wanted to set up wifi at our lake house and we specifically asked for a prepaid plan with no contract, as we are only there during the summer. Long story short, we ended up having to go in there 3 times, each time being given different information (needed to make sure our place was serviceable, etc etc). The 3rd time, we were going to pick up our new prepaid router so that we could install the wifi at our lake house, at which point Terri told us that since there was never service there before, we wouldn't be able to because we didn't have the proper cables, so unfortunately we were stuck with the contract plan (luckily you can freeze/unfreeze it whenever you want). Terri went above and beyond with her manager (I forget his name) to ensure that we were able to get our wifi installed a week early, and she just is great! Sorry for the 3 stars, but it was just for the run around that we got. read more

Do not get the cell service. Dropped calls and hard to connect to data no matter were you are. Do not switch to service if you need to have connectivity at all times. I am paying monthly until contract end, I am stuck with it. read more

He told me I couldn't do anything since my Comcast account that I pay for is in my wife's name. Not friendly, or helpful at all. Be careful and read the contract. I purchased the home monitoring system which we liked, but they changed my channel lineup without my knowledge. They swapped HBO for SHO, to get it back, they wanted an additional$15/ month. Spoke to 3 different people, there is nothing they can do. Xfinity is by far the WORST internet provider I have ever had. First five of my bills were due on the 21st of the month. They stopped sending me a paper copy and changed the date my bill was due without saying a single word. No email, nothing. Guess who had to pay the late fee? Me. Every month I have a "one-time" charge and the amount is always changing. Not to mention that my wifi fucking sucks. After my lease is up I will never use xfinity again. Why does this have to be a love hate relationship? I don't hate you Xfinity or Comcast or Xfinity by Comcast or Comcast by Xfinity. Whatever you are calling yourself, I get it. You are reinventing yourself. I know how this works, this store being new in Arlington Heights gives me the opportunity to sign up for new service, tv, fast internet, home phone, home security and cell phones. The in person experience I had recently with a representative named Jason I had to Yelp about. He was efficient knowledgeable and apparently the person to see. Customers were waiting for him specifically. As he interacted with me he did his best to give me his undivided attention, however he must be the manager or assistant because there were multiple other representatives asking him questions. Almost constantly someone would walk up to and ask him a question or ask him to come look at something on their computer "real quick" or "it'll just take a second". He was being pulled in twenty directions. I told him that I was not in a hurry and that if he needs to go help another representative it was fine. He declined and kept focused on me. I came into the store with many questions and Jason answered them. He even answered questions I didn't think to ask. I'm not sure how he did what he did, be awesome that is, while being asked so many questions from others but he did. Thank you, continue doing what you do I will be back soon. read more

Very pleased with my experience at this XFINITY store. Way better than the Schaumburg location there's more people available less of a wait time and I was able to get in and out quick. Travis was very helpful in explaining my bill break down to me and helping see my options for upgrading my package I will definitely come back and see him for help in the future. read more
