Instead, they shipped me a pink iPad and told me color "isn't guaranteed." When I asked to see where that's stated in their terms, they could only quote language about "equal or similar functionality," nothing about color. After an hour of chat: * Reps admitted pink "isn't most people's first choice" but still called it "similar." * They refused to exchange it for any neutral color (black, white, blue) even if I waited. * I sat on hold forever for a manager who ultimately offered zero solution. Color may sound cosmetic, but it matters--especially when they never warn you. If Asurion can't return the product you actually bought, what else will they cut corners on? Although I paid for a 1yr warranty the store refused to replace or even help fix their wrongdoing, and insisted that I pay full price again for a replacement because the screen has a hairline scratch which voids their warranty. The warranty they offer is obviously subject to their discretion at which they will use any excuse to not to fix. This issue seemed second nature to them which made me realize this is a scam they frequently use, and more importantly us to pressure women into further sales. I wouldn't wish this treatment upon anyone.

Over time it had become loose and it wasn't charging the battery and it wouldn't power the laptop unless the power cable was jiggled around. I had purchased a replacement power port wiring harness online and planned on replacing it myself. However, once I got to screw #20 and about the 3rd layer in, I realized I didn't have the tools or the expertise to fix this problem. So, I started looking around for a shop to do the work. I'm happy to say that Inkyo was able to swap out the power port harness and had the laptop back up and running in no time at all. I've gone to other fix-it places in the past and I've had mixed results. I'm happy to say that Smart Fix did the work well, fixed my problem and the price was completely reasonable.
