Simon the owner came out and did a home call for duplication of high security keys. The home call saved a ton of time and it is an awesome service for the customer. I didn't even know that type of service existed. I called I got a great quote, I scheduled the earliest appointment and he promptly arrived and the keys work perfectly. Anyone can duplicate keys, it's the customer service that separates this place from the rest and that's why I give them 5 stars. Thank you Simon' read more

(1/5) Misleading quotes, rough handling, and highly inflated pricing I called on a Saturday at 1:28 PM and was told they would arrive within 20 minutes, but they didn't show up until 1:51 PM. Before starting, I was quoted what sounded like $25--though I may have missed hearing "two hundred." Knowing local daytime lockout rates typically range from $75 to $210, I expected the final cost to be well under $100 for a straightforward daytime service. I was shocked when charged $225 upon completion. The unlocking process took about 10 minutes, but the technician was extremely rough--so much so that I was genuinely worried the lock cylinder would be damaged. Given the delayed arrival, aggressive technique, and total lack of upfront clarity on price, $225 is completely unreasonable and far above market value. I will never use this service again. read more

Poor customer service and unprofessional communication. Employee was extremely aggressive.

Great service, quick response, professional and on time. I needed an extra key for my Camry. He came the next day, on time and made my key/remote in 20 minutes. They come to your house which is awesome! He would've come the same day I called, it he didn't have the model key that I needed. Saved me a ton of money by not going to the dealer. read more

I called these guys last minute and they did such a great job I decided to write about it. They are true professionals who did not leave a mess and their rates are very affordable. As promised they showed up on time and were quickly able to get me into the home without delay. Thanks guys! read more

I needed an extra key fob for my car and my search led me to Locksmith Express. First off let me say I very rarely write 5-star reviews, only when a company is exceptional and It's very seldom that I come across a company with all 5-star reviews. Locksmith Express happens to be the exception. The communication between me and Simon was exceptional. I received very fast and prompt service. The technician was on time. Matter of fact, he even arrived 10min early for an 8am appointment. He was very friendly and courteous. The cost of my service was VERY reasonable. So much so, that I asked if could cut an additional key. Even with the extra key, the price was still reasonable. Simply put GREAT customer service and competitive pricing are hard to find that's why I would highly recommend using Locksmith Express. read more

Neighbor got locked out on Fathers Day. Phone, keys, shoes and ID all in house. He came over for help and Locksmith Express was our 3rd call. Simon showed up in 10-15 minutes. I was relieved that he verified ID, took pictures of license plate and person asking to be let in. He was able to help my neighbor in record time. The cost was reasonable and based on the lock. read more

So my friend had to call a locksmith to get his car opened and a new key cut after losing it at riot fest. So we call these guys and Emil (I think?) shows up and gets it open in about 10 minutes and quickly after informs us he has to cut a chip key which will take a few minutes. Long enough to have a smoke, and then we're in our way. Pleasant, professional, and timely. Thanks! read more

Very nice guy, great service, fast response, opened the door lock without any damage quickly and professionally. Thank you!

Great work, came on time, didn't go over his estimate, corrected some crummy locks, all you could ask for. Worked quickly too, which was great because I had no time at all to spare! Highly recommend! read more

Excellent service. At 6:30 am I had locked my dog and my keys In my truck with the engine running. Called 911 first no help. Called simon and I said please hurry. 10 mins he was there and opened my truck. Thank you!!!! read more

A SCAM. Never, never use this company. I I locked myself out . They charged me $150 for breaking my old door lock in 10 minutes and $200 for replacing it with a $30 lock. It took him less than 20 minutes to put a new lock in . read more

Typically any occasion that calls for replacing the locks is not positive, but dealing with Simon and the level of his service definitely was a great experience. Simon is not only courteous, professional but also very quick. He responded immediately and was at my home within 30 minutes. He replaced 6 locks efficiently and was done in no time. I highly recommend him! read more

Called because we were locked out of our car. He came to us in 5 minutes! He wore a mask and insisted that we all stay 6 ft from each other. He was quick and had us back in the car in under 10 minutes! I would definitely use them again and recommend them! read more

This person owes me money! I contacted this company over Yelp to get a car's key cut and reprogrammed. Though it's price was 15$ more than the other quote I got, the locksmith replied faster than others, so I just had my wife contact them when my car key arrived. The name of the person was Simon. Simon could not cut the car key properly, he tried to give some bs excuse which neither me and my wife bought it. In addition to that, he said we could get another key from dealer. No I do not need to get another key from the dealer, you have the pay me for the key that you could not cut and made obsolete by mishandling it with your cutter! My only mistake in this transaction was not being at home while all this happened. I know contractors and all service people act and talk different when they are talking to women vs men; and it can be intimidating females to challenge it. I would never pay this person full amount of $125 till fix his mistake. You got away easy by dealing with a naive person. You are not an honest service provider. Dont give that same crap excuse saying you dont charge for cutting under this review, pay for your mistake like a man. As expected, the owner just proved his ethics. This is same as calling a cleaner to your house for cleaning, cleaner can not clean plus leaves dirt and then says *well I actually do not charge for cleaning*. You are totally pathetic! You were paid for a service and it is documented in our messages that clearly includes key cutting, you trying to get out of it by saying you do not charge for it. But you broke the key! Dumbest response of Yelp ever from a business. read more

Wonderful service! In a pinch was there within 15 minutes and five minutes later I was on my way. Guy was also super friendly! Can't recommend enough. read more

Needed to have set of keys done for my car. Contacted a few companies via Yelp and Locksmith Express responded within 20 minutes which is pretty darn fast. I honestly went with them because they were the cheapest in the bunch. Turned out to be a pretty good experience. They do not have a shop, they would come to where you are for a fee which is pretty decent. The guy showed up on time has made me my keys also pretty quickly, programmed them for my Honda and everything still works perfectly well. Didn't catch the guy's name but I really appreciate his service. Thank you! read more

Locksmith Express - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Arlington Heights, Illinois

It's been a stressful time since I've lost my car keys, and going back and forth trying to find them and calling places to see what the process/cost would be. Finally was recommended to Simon and he came out and took care of it! Made and programmed my keys to my car. I'm grateful for his service, and efficient and peaceful work. He was so calm. He did a great job; I'm thankful. I'm also a person that really doesn't believe in giving many 5's for places but Simon would definitely get one just for how skillfully and patiently he worked. read more

I received a call from the GM today - which I appreciated. It's clear this company has integrity and wants to make sure their customers are satisfied. Although I still think the job took far too long and was pricey, I have updated to 3 stars because of their integrity. read more

Getting locked out doesn't happen than often so you're always worried about getting taken for a ride. Called Simon and he was at my home in 30 minutes which is pretty tough given it was rush hour. He took a look and told us the price up front and ensured us no damage to the lock so that was a relief. He got it done in time for us to get the kids to school - we were worried about missing the morning so another win for us (kids were bummed) so it worked out. Under $200 and totally worth it! Shared some funny stories about kids as well while he worked. Good times. Thanks Simon! read more

These guys we're awesome. I just called them for a quick quote along with about 5-6 other companies and they were the most reasonable with the most experience. We had to get our mailbox key and lock replaced after a foreclosure, so these guys were the best. Expect around $90-$140 to replace a mailbox key after calling a few companies, but these guy were able to do it for $90, so it was completely worth it :) The guy who came out showed me everything about locks, levels of security and how to secure my home better. Most importantly they were fast and did not waste any time when they came. read more
